I have been living in Canada for over 20 years now, staying in Mississauga & not sure about the druggies everywhere statement, may be true about downtown TO. We also have a strong muslim community around us, ofc azaan five times a day and access to pray easily I do understand is missing here as in any non muslim country of the world. There are a lot of halal food options here now..esp in the past few years. Regardless of where you stay, it is my belief that you carry your deen with you, its a way of life and can be practised & taught to children in any part of the world. I do get the point about winters, but then summers are harsh in alot of countries like the Middle East & ppl stay mostly indoors. To each their own & I wish you the best in your decision! ❤

Public safety should never be compromised. Canada and the US are on the wrong track and both these countries need to punched pretty bad so that they learn a lesson. I figured this was coming eventually. Canadians were known my entire life up until the last few years as jolly, mind your own business folks who didn’t mind a hockey fight but it’s really been a drastic cultural shift. I’m sure we see more of the degeneracy via social media which makes it seem bigger than it is and brings the psychos out of the woodwork but you’re right—you see more needles and prostitutes and drag shows and things targeting kids who should just be kids all the time. I haven’t considered leaving the US but I’ve moved counties and I’m preparing to do it again and get farther out from the city. It takes guts, especially if you’re going over an ocean. I’m proud of you guys for being brave enough to start over!

As someone from the US, here’s what I will say- you can find a small community or a community within a large city that will fit your needs if you look hard enough. HOWEVER, outside of that community, our larger government will never be the right fit for you, for the same reason you’ve “outgrown”Canada. “We” rarely invest in our own country and citizens, and always have “our” hands and money in other country’s affairs where they don’t belong and aren’t welcome. The government is unbelievably corrupt, out of touch, and is more focused on getting one side to hate the other side than actually making “no-brainer” steps that we all agree on to make things better for everyone. If you’re looking for a place to land for a little while I’d say a place with a Muslim community is fine, but long term your money won’t be going to places that aligns with your morals and values.

I would say try Turkey if you can purchase a house you could get your citizenship there and it is mostly a Muslim country. Something to think about it might be a place to look at . I’m from the US not a Muslim but have many Muslim friends who live in Turkey it safe and clean and I’m not sure of the education but safe is always a big one for me. Danbury Connecticut in USA area I keep seeing new Muslims base restaurants open up. Also you close NYC but far enough. Also known where Catholic Priest, Rabbi's and Imam get together and panel discussion, about issues. However, just in one high school in Danbury over 100 different languages are spoken. Do we have people that prejudice yes, but in general they dealt with. In general I feel people here like you do you, but pressure us in your way other than pressure we press back on pressure to do things your way.

Salam, I’m a Dominican Muslim and my husband is Falastin. We have been considering the same for the past few years. The situation in the US is not getting better and have had some unfortunate situations happen being a hijabi. We were researching Qatar as our first option because Arabic is the spoken language but if not for the language we are considering Malaysia. This hit home on a number of levels. As black woman raised in the Great Lakes of the US MidWest I get the need to relocate which is what we did. Bigotry and environment being chief. I caution you on one aspect that will remain the same wherever you go and that is the issue of schooling and influence - YOU WILL HAVE TO BE INVOLVED AND REMAIN VIGILANT regardless of where you go as no school can replace the foundational structure of parenting and all institutions have personalities with agendas in spite of expressed mission. As for recommendations of where to relocate also consider Suranime where 14% of the population is Muslim. Since I've lived in Islamic lands the world has changed so much that xenophobia against even other Muslims in countries that used to be so welcoming to the stranger but for a variety of reason is also factor you MUST consider. God is good and will guide you.

You are right, all over the world there's inflation but in Canada there's no savings, huge tax, no job security all over Canada, where we can get lay off after years of hard work in a company. Canada encourages people to be in debts, tons of credit cards. As a Muslim I think the same for the upbringing of kids in Canada which is very difficult almost impossible. Am from Singapore and moved the US for last 6 years with my entire family for work. Honestly, can’t wait to just get back home. Singapore although not a Muslim country is multi racial and religious one. Safety and indoctrination is not a problem. Practicing Muslim is made very easy.

Qatar is in our minds. \nIslam, livable prices, good schools, modern technology with keeping with tradition.. \nit’s getting harder to live in the US when like you said your government isn’t choosing to be humane over power and money. I used to watch a lot of non Muslim couple influencers but since the war on occupied palestine I have seen that non of the couples you tubers have even mentioned what is happening its like they are all in the agenda just to distract people while a genocide is happening right before our eyes, sad thing is majority of the people around the world are ipening their eyes to the reality its not about religion or race its about humanity so when people who have such huge platforms keep quiet it shows their values. so I have decided to strictly keep my eyes on our muslim youtubers. I was an immigrant child coming from Uzbekistan to USA. I got married and had 3 kids, we built our family in the US, but left 7 years ago, and moved back to Uzbekistan. I was very reluctant at first, but Alhamdulillah it was the best decision for our family! \n\nIt was actually very hard to adjust to the culture here for me because I’d become very Americanized and indoctrinated with feminism ?. Every parent knows what is best for their children and families. I live in Pakistan 2. Me and my brother were born in US to Pakistani parents. My mom didn't want to leave US but my dad said there is no religious environment there plus our whole family lives in Pakistan and didn't want us to grow there. Our apartment owner who was Christian was not letting us go. He said that u guys r such an amazing people, good Muslims, nice to everyone and take Care for everyone. It was really hard for both of my parents but Allah made it easy for us. My mom passed away when I was 18 and my brother 15 and I really miss her. My option is u can guys move to Pakistan. U can get Islamic education + Islamic environment. No matter how bad our politics, government doesn't care about Its own country and no cleanliness but I still love Pakistan. I really respect you guys for making such a hardest decision with strength. I really support you guys with this decision. Just don't mind I was just giving an advice that Pakistan is way better but it is totally up to u guys which country u like to make your better life. But where ever u guys go, u are all always in my prayers even our brothers and sisters in Gaza. I am right there with you guys but not for the reason you guys are leaving I hate the fighting. No matter who they are I hate seeing people that are innocent being hurt... Our problem here in America is Donald Trump! I am so fed up with that man and if he wins again I'm definitely moving to a different country but the same reasons you guys are freedom... What you have stated in this video about your day to day life experience has horrified me, really it means a lot to us like Asian Indians, as, we get all kind of skilled technicians plumbers carpenters etc here in our country for reasonable cost, actually I was planning for my son to Canada, but now I give up ??? thanks for sharing your experience

As an Indian, just because India allows a particular community some priviledge, it doesnt mean you'll get it in other nation.\n\nGoes the same to people from other countries, you are leaving your motherland to earn, learn the host country's protocol. You are not levitating above the rest of us.

It's funny. I was talking with a coworker last week. He is a Canadian citizen and has been here for about 6 years. He told me that he's counting down the days until he becomes a US citizen. He has a couple of months to go. He said that he no longer cares about his Canadian citizenship. His wife is still trying to get a green card. They have a child who was born here and is therefore a US citizen by birth.

It is impossible to get ahead in Canada. This country loves to text you when you’re getting ahead when you start really making money this country loves to show you whose boss and loves to take the money away from you is impossible to throw it in your face forward in this country you think you’re making it, but the government shows you tells you put it in your goddamn fucking face that you got nowhere to go, but just pay us.

Canada has been and will always be a “transit” country, for immigrants who want to get into the US but couldn’t, so they go to Canada to get the passport first.. then they will jump ship at least the smart and ambitious ones.

As someone in his late twenties living in Quebec, I got to say this is very accurate. I won't say things are as bad as some other people are saying in the comments, but I do feel like the country is going downhill. For me, these are the main three things that feels wrong:\n\n1. We, as citizen, tend to offload every responsibility to the governments. Each election, they promise to handle more, but fail times and times again to deliver on their existing responsibilities. But we still vote for them, because we fear personal responsibilities. They created these immovable bureaucratic monsters and they lost control. They promise new shiny things instead of fixing what is already in place.\n2. We lost all notion of what is necessary. People gets more and more entitled which leads to overconsumption and frustation. Quebecers used to be proud peoples who survived with the little they had. Now greed has consumed our identity and nothing is holder us together.\n3. I feel that jobs are less and less useful to the society. Even I, as an electronic/software engineer, wonder if my job as meaning. I feel we lost touch with the concrete world. Some people have 0 contribution to anything useful and have really good salary and work conditions, while others bust their ass in shitty conditions. I feel like everything that we need is produced/done by a frighteningly small amount of individuals.\n\nBut from what I heard Canada isn't the only country to feel these. It maybe just hit us harder.\n\nP.S: It came out way worst than I initially intended. Maybe it is that bad...

I would encourage Canadians to get involved more in politics and demand changes to the system. Housing is high in Canada due to lack of building permits and blue collar laborers. Canada accepted a high rate of white collar skill immigrants but lack job opportunities for them. Vancouver economy is tourism dependent while Alberta is energy base and Toronto financial base. Healthcare is available for every Canadian but salaries are low in the industry compared to US. The government should encourage companies to invest in Canada and create jobs for the economy. Since the tax rate in Canada is higher compared to the US, citizens should ask themselves if the money is going to good use and generating jobs in the economy.

US still better for me than UK and yet they probably like same system like Canada has..I’ve heard this with my friends and cousins living in Canada also. Sadly here in US people are started to get some down turn cost of living as inflation started to bite but I think still better still than any country I had resided before the US. If you were in Canada and had degrees you better off going to America where they will credit your studies and appreciate your contribution unlike the system you have in Canada.

Living in the US is better than Canada until you get really sick, then you need to mortgage your house 3 times just to keep yourself alive. There are problem with every country when you only compare them to the best countries in their respective fields. The past 3 years have been very difficult for all countries.

WHERE are municipal politicians supposedly limiting the construction of homes? I don’t see it. \n\nWe are aware that there are regulations in place to protect buyers and that self-serving industries lobby to do away with, as those protective regulations can reduce profits. Some provincial governments (like Alberta) are highly sympathetic to lobbies and industries, to the detriment of citizens. \nWhy are you not pointing to the fact that successive federal governments of the past stopped funding the construction of lower cost housing (thereby creating more demand AND our number one problem of unmitigated greed throughout the real estate and home building industries? We have some people in government attempting to get more low cost homes built while industries know that they can make more money building houses that are far, far bigger than people NEED. Dumbasses and keep-up-the-Jones folks unwisely buy these homes and then many of them have difficulty affording a lifestyle that they think they are entitled to. Meanwhile, lower income earners have been priced right out the market. Of course, capitalists and real estate investors like Pierre Poilievre will never admit that these are our actual problems. Regulating the construction and real estate industries could have gotten a lot more homes built in higher density for young and lower income Canadians, as well as for our newcomers. \n\nToo much blind and poorly informed anger, selfishness, and foolishness going around. Canadians of the past who pulled together during world wars would call us weak and entitled.

Who are lying to these people? I’m almost 80 and I only get $240 a month Social Security so they can come in and get thousands a month because they’re immigrants and they haven’t worked here. They worked other places? Oh God please give us a president that can change this madness..

As a Canadian who has lived in the U.S. and has numerous friends from foreign countries (mostly Algeria), there’s a large group of people wanting to move here still.\n\nBut for us Canadians, yeah Trudeau has screwed us over. Get him out of here.\n\nTo be clear: I’m also from Quebec, and so our economic place, is a bit better than everyone else. (Also from Rural quebec originally).

Many of the issues you bring up are the same here, but I am willing to deal with those over the impending chaos we are seeing down here. I am an American living close to the border in Buffalo, but I am considering a move to Canada due to the political climate down here. I would rather pay a little more in taxes & gas than deal with the Christian Taliban we are heading for. The Canadian housing market can be fixed, food prices can come down, but once you start losing rights, it's time to consider your options. When I (a straight white guy in his 50's) can see the writing on the wall, it's getting close to time. That being said, living in a state (New York) that will fight the incoming stripping of our rights, will buy us a few years. I can deal with all the other things (high housing costs, soul crushing medical debt, overpriced college, & out of control gun violence), but we are way too close to a civil war for my comfort. I travel up and down the east coast and don't believe what they are saying, we are way too close to a pre-WW2 Germany situation for anyone to feel safe. The amount of gun owners threatening violence is very concerning.

With 9 month of experience, I am truly considering going back to my country, here you cannot get a job related to the degree that you have even having 3 years experience with. They will pay the lowest in the low despite the Glassdoor average salary. Add on the high living cost and complex extremely long hiring process, there is no good career path and is all about survival. Sorry to say, but when locals are struggling, I don’t understand why asking foreigners to come… Pretty much many of us and locals are so disappointed+angry+frustrating, this country drain all my saving, I come here to work, not purely let Canada eating all my money. And yes, they said value education, but a degree will not let you to get an entry admin job cus they expected Master degree, lasting many of their systems and 10 years experience. Moreover, if you don’t have a car, the job will not consider you no matter it is an entry position.

In my province healthcare is ostensibly nonexistent. Wait times at ER's are well over 12 hours and you're often directed to go home without ever seeing a doctor. \nThere is an extreme deficit of doctors. I've been waiting 6 years for one and there are people who have waited much longer with no relief in sight. \nHousing is unaffordable. A decent (nothing special) one bedroom 1 bath apartment is around 1600 a month and this is a largely rural province, not a metropolitan city. \nHomes are being bought as fast as they go on the market at extremely inflated prices by people moving here to escape the more populated provinces. This has raised property taxes by 20% in the last 2 years.\nThe economy is in shambles. Homelessness is exploding and the government seems uninterested in fixing it in any realistic or helpful way.\nFederal and provincial income taxes are nearly 50% of your income (44% for me and a bit more for my wife). So, what money you do make you get to keep a little more than half.\nElectricity is about 3 times what it is in the US and the rate here is increasing by 29% over the next 3 years.\nGroceries are unreasonably expensive and becoming more pricey by the day. Provincial sales tax is 15% on top of those groceries as well. \nThis is a short list of a few of the more glaring issues but there are far more. Canada has transformed over the last 5 years into a place I hardly recognize anymore. If something isn't done about it soon we'll be living in a third world country by 2030.

Bang on with the qualification mismatch. It's very difficult to get higher paying jobs in Canada even with qualifications. People are leaving a lot of money on the table if they're not targeting jobs in the US. Also in Canada, you're not really part of an identity. The culture here is import as many people as possible + 50%, have them line up to work medial jobs and then take 30-40% of their taxes. The higher you get it's even more.

That’s why many of us carry concealed. If they tried this where I live, they would get a brain implant.

But there are lot illegal immigrant & refugees entry Canada in monthly based…. Middle East, south east Asia, & PRC China… especially China economy is collapsing, young people entering the country pretending to be a student to get a visa & then looking for Chinese co. to hire them… such as in restaurants, 0:52 Chinese food mart, construction works, logistic & food delivery!!\nThose got educated will have great prospects to work in US & European Co.
