Life is tough here in Canada. Economy is stagnant, things aren't working, crime rate is up, healthcare is in decline, politics is abysmal. I can understand and don't blame Canadians who want to leave. But I have hope that things will change for the better.

If they did not have a chance to come to Canada, they would still be dreaming of coming here. Life is a continuous struggle.

These days Females have become Ferocious so maintain a distance and avoid them and speak only what is official or necessary with due respect and even if they show anger and attitude which most will pretend as if you did not hear and shut up and ignore and why do you think there are Divorces becoming rampant it’s mostly due to their ferocious nature and once they divorce their husband and get cheated and harassed by people around unfortunately and reach their 50s they will realize their mistakes.If you want to enjoy with your wife whenever she screams SHUT UP as SHE is always correct then praise her and then enjoy that’s the compromise one has to do his entire life if you wish to stay with your kids and support them and see them successful.

Must say that was a fair and candid view of life in Canada nowadays. As I near retirement, we're considering all options. It's a big world out there but like you implied, no place is perfect so we just need to make the right decisions based on our own different circumstances. Well done.

hey young woman is not strange what it's happening in CANADA. is not the lonely land which it occurs that? even here in FRANCE !! life become hard and increase outlaws too .life become expensive in all fields such work and get a job or making shopping and there are a lot of homeless on the street .another problem in FRANCE a wave of immigrant coming and it increases problem to find solution .bible book say we're living in hard time which people become selfish and wicked friend of themselve doing what is wrong don't have self control all this features lead to conclusion bible book say what is really true about our time you can read that information in Timothy chapter 3 one to five and look around you and awake open your eyes and your heart .

As an immigrant, i think the high level of immigration is making life miserable for us and Canadians

Our banks offshore our high tech jobs, broken windows and protests in our cities on issues from their homeland, our educated children leave the country for a better life, drugs, guns and homelessness on our streets. How stupid are Canadians to continue filling this Trojan horse? You can't blame it all on the politicians, your average Canadian wants to feel their government will take care of them, like a parent from cradle to grave. Pretty stupid.

So why do you get White Flight ? Don't ever blame the non muslims it's the muslims to blame 150 %...because when they start to take over an area...and it's always a deliberate mofe, their imams will be telling them i mosques to start buying up properties...and when they mive in they harass white folk especiallybthe elderly , to move out thay cause ditsress, bang on walls etc etc until the white folk start to mobpve out, they damage grass verges, ripmup anybgardeb and concrete over for cars, they have no respect, their kids are unruly and call white folk names etc, then there's all acrid cooking smells emanating, planning laws are totally disregarded, benefit fraud is rampant, white girls are targetted and groomed, drug selling becomes a way of life, they kive in a parallel world which is TOTALLY different to whites, what once was a nice pretty area quiet and peaceful becomes a noisy, smelly, dirty, unlawful ghetto....what whites want to live that way ? No decent citizen wants this for themselves or their children, ...they have only themselves to blame, they decimate anything decent and lawful into some sort of unlawful heap of ugliness.

I was born in Canada, my Mom was too. Yet things are getting so out of hand with the price of living we have to leave the city ive spent my entire life in, to try and find cheaper housing elsewhere.

If you are not highly paid, not weathy enough, have to pay rent for residence, and want to live in Vancouver, you must escape from your illusion ASAP, or the illusion will ruin your life.

And addressing current issues, Canadian passport holders who choose to live in Gaza, which has no rights for women, LGBTQ, and especially jews and whose leaders drafted a charter calling for death of ALL jews, sounds more like NAZI Germany, well they do not belong in Canada. There are plenty of surrounding muslim nations they can go to.

Pause Immigration and conduct proper vetting, we do not need Immigrants that oppose our way of life and stop supporting Nazi war criminals and terrorist groups, must be deported....dont come here and bring your garbage with you.....

Canada and Australia have so much in common incl. genocidal monarchs as national heads except for the weather i.e., snow vs desert/temperate grassland. As an Aussie, I’ve lived most of my life in Australia — I was making Au$200,000/yr and my partner is an ICU nurse who made around Au$100,000/yr — and by my standards our life was average in real terms although most (ignorant) Aussies would say we had a great life. Thing is, most Aussies (and Canadians) haven’t experienced anything better whereas I have lived and worked in four countries and my partner has lived and worked in three — we appreciate good living standards and I’ve noticed that most Canadians and Aussies don’t even know what we mean when we talk about such things. Anyway we permanently moved to the US this year because I’m also American — now finally we can start a family!

The liberals’ crazy aggressive immigration targets make everyone’s life miserable except for the rich and powerful. More people means more cash cows for them. Without sufficient infrastructure to support this kind of population growth, the GDP per capita has been dropping and housing costs have gone through the roof due to the great gap between supply and demand. The politicians only talk about the shortage of supply but let’s face it they can never build faster enough for the people they bring in. As a result, people will keep fighting for the scarcity and fuel on the Canadian housing speculation.

It's not just the exorbitant cost of living . When you come from places like Pakistan or Bangladesh Canada can seem like paradise , but if you come from Europe you discover that the tedious, monotonous way of life , where the only outlet is to get high on alcohol or drugs is not for you. You go to any major city , with the exception of Montreal , and it's a boring, boring life .

From asia, My sister have a PHD credential, even i used to encourage her to seek for a better quality of life in this country, bcoz the good opportunity in Singapore is packed, no more good job left, so i always encourage her to go canada, except for canada, I can't think of a good place for her to go... I think the system was designed intentionally to empty immigrants pockets and then push them out. Sell Canadian Dream, bring as much immigrants as possible. Make them pay crazy rents and keep them in never attainable certification limbo. By the time they realize they are already exploited by the system. They will end up spending all their life savings and youth in Canada doing odd low skill jobs. Cruel system for taking advantage over naive immigrants. I hope soon more and more immigrants will understand this and make wise decision of not coming to Canada at least for now.

Well, you have to ask yourself. What are the incentives of staying in Canada? It is unlivable pretty much 8 out of 12 months, so that is more than half of your year spent suffering. Plus, you pay high taxes and high cost of living while your Government steals and give your tax money away to foreign countries. Plus health care is pathetic. Only idiots will stay and be slave to the Government. Life is too short to be staying miserable in this country.

For sure, things are getting more tough around the world but what really surprises me is that the people who have been living for 10+ years in Canada saying that things changed in Canada. Well, of course, things will change, its changing everywhere including where you immigrated from. I have been in Canada for 5+ years now and finally am a citizen and I can tell you that where I came from is even worse in terms of inflation and affordability. People compare Canada to Dubai (where I came from) and say dumb things about the luxuries available there forgetting they can get these luxuries anywhere if they have the money. Even Dubai now, is much worse than 5-10 years ago, so take a chill pill and know what you really want in life and if the style of Dubai or Bali suits you more, then go ahead, Canada is not holding you hostage :D

Life is hard for immigrants but why do they think they deserve to live in Canada's most expensive city when many Canadians can't live there ?

I feel like I wasted my life moving to Canada too. It's really sad and contributes to my depression. Here, even Canadian graduates struggle to get a job in their field. Underemployment is alarmingly high for a developed country.

What do you expect when you increase people’s mortgages to double figures like literally 220%? Even a lot of my sensible family friends who are recent immigrants, who are well-educated and well paid are looking to move because even with family income of 300000 one can’t afford a detached home and crazy expenses like groceries, utilities, scammed insurances, dubious healthcare, unnecessary taxes. Rather move back home, have a house maid for cleaning, cooking, ad driver for your car and can expect better social lives with families and friends, get decent increments every year just have to put up with the crazy traffic, pollution.. At least you will live a decent life and not make Canada Govt and its banks richer!!!

And we have been paying taxes for 30 years, my family for over 100 years... you are getting an extremely good education that you wouldn't get at home. There are lots of great paying jobs in Canada to help with cost of living, it really depends on you at the end of day and if you can handle that type of job. Pretty easy to find a 100k+ job if you are motivated and want to improve your life.

Life in Canada was amazing until about 2015.
