Growing up half of my relatives were Canadian, and we visited often. It always seemed that Canada was a cleaner, friendlier version of America. I still visit on occasion, but it's not the same country, either is the United States for that matter. There's no escape!

The problem of feeling locals as immigrants in their own country is due to addiction of drugs. So question that first. Secondly, immigrants are back bone for Canadian economy. So if we live in Canada that means we are paying taxes in our high paying jobs like physicians, IT software or establishing stores. So better not to cry on immigrants, and get a life!

I'm not being racist but many drivers from India are driving like crazy in Canada and totally ignoring their safety and the safety of others. When I was driving in Surrey, British Columbia, I saw several drivers who are totally ignoring traffic rules and when I saw their faces, I'm sure they are from India. Those Indians who grew up in Canada and learned their driving skills here are very different from those who learned their driving skills in Indian. That's a FACT!

I met too many international students and most them they were studying on line!!! so they are not need to came to Canada, but the reason is they came for work. Each one has two jobs !!! So the reason coming for work and save money not for study and at the end after graduation they stay in Canada and never come back home.

All the struggles are real and you need lots of courage to adjust here in canada.. I live in Canada and have a friend with stage 4 breast cancer and had to wait for health care but her $5,300 a month drug treatment was covered. She is doing fine and with medication she expected to live approx 5 years plus. We have problems with health care but when it works it is amazing.
