The thing is I still would choose Canada over a third world country like India. If we look at the median household earnings to average housing prices ratio in Canada it comes out to be around 41%, while here in India this ratio falls down to around 21% at the best. My only thoughts is Now a days, ONLY INDIAN's are hired everywhere, such as Tim hortons,security,best buy Banks,Senior Care agency,100 % ALL Canadian Business Sectors are ALL INDIANS, where are the Diverse culture,when only INDIANS are hired. Such as in Tim hortons, All will be INdIANS, All the Agencies have a INdians in Human resources and they hires only Indians. Indians are hired in 7 days after coming to Canada, everything is negotiaged from Upper level,thats their statement.For us, canadian citizens,in 2011, we had to wait 7 long moths for work permit and we were not allowed to work.Some according to my friends,only Indians'are hired,people who are canadian citizens had to wait in big line for a job. Indian dont have to wait just coming here after 7 days, they get job or hired. If one Indian's work in one office,there will be 10 Indians next week. Where are the Diverse culture now?

Been in Canada for 26 years and came as a student. I'm all for balanced immigration and not over populating. What this gentleman forgets to mention is that Canadian universities and colleges promise opportunities galore upon completion. So often these students are taking out massive loans in hopes of paying back some portion of it with post grad work permits.

At least these students are better than refugees. Refugees, on the other hand, drain our wealth, get free bees from the government, and it's out taxpayers' money that is paying for all that. On the other hand, students pay more college fees than people for have PR status or citizens. Obviously, these students have a skill set, but because of Canada's faulty skill assessments, they do not land up with jobs in their own fields.

Canada is a life hack for migrants. the government hasn't built enough housing or infrastructure for the 2 million people they let in in the past few years. any more than 250,000 new people a year is too much for our system to handle. the international students are a scam for mass immigration to grow Canada's tax base as fast as possible, to keep wages low for big corporations, collect tax revenue from people who don't know what Canada was like ten years ago.
