While I agree that Canada should definitely lower the number of indians that are admitted in the country (asylum seeker included), this video is just blatantly low quality journalism. You take the opinion of a few people. Talk about facts. What is unemployment rate compared to other cities, crime rate, etc. And does it correlate with the ethnic group.

Same situation here in greater Vancouver. Surrey, Delta, Abbotsford, and other places completely overrun by south Asian immigrants. Mass immigration fraud (international students, temporary foreign workers, asylum seekers, family reunification, etc) has ruined this part of Canada.

First the government said she doesn't have enough money .and she apply again this time they said if she to school here after finish she not come back to Vietnam .what hell ? Very kidding same reason still used by Canadian employers for job seekers without local working experience today when moving to Canada more than 20 years ago. Think twice if you want to move to Canada for better life without job. This is not a country for many professionals. They will use same excuses used back to 20 years ago to reject you: no local work experience, no Canadian degree, etc. The truth is no opportunity. They just want you come to spend money for paying higher rent, living expenses to make economy grow. Their middle class population is dying everyday. The student visa is meant for very young ppl to experience a year of Canada and learn English. Why not stay in India? They don't have a war.

All the students who are already in Canada should have the option to be eligible for a PR, they (the Indian students) went there for a better life, they have their entire existence dependent on the fact of becoming a Canadian citizen eventually. Deporting them would be a loss for India as well as Canada, as many of them will end up with depression and feeling of failure. \n\nThe Canadian government must allow these student who are already in the country to apply for citizenship and make citizenship and PR rules stricter going forward. I love Cape Breton. Canada is a big country. Our family immigrated to Halifax and then lived in Lake Simcoe area, then Kirkland Lake, Ontario, then lived in three or four homes in Edmonton. But the population of Alberta has tripled since I lived there and the population of Canada has doubled. Cities are mostly the same in the U.S. or Canada. I've lived in Philadelphia and Boston and on the coast of Maine. Maine and Nova Scotia share much in common. Cities are the problem: over-crowded, expensive, lacking decent employment, crime infested, etc but this is true in most of the cities of the world, whether in India or U.S. or Canada. Don't blame the country for city problems;.
