The immigration policy should be changed, and quotas should be allocated to all nationalities. If Canada needs 100 immigrants, they should be coming from 100 different countries, that is the only way through which you can preserve the Canadian culture while reaping the benefits of skilled immigration. There should be a ban on Indian immigrants now, as we have plenty of them already.

Recently I took a walk at the famous White Rock pier in BC, as I've done over the years. But this time during a long weekend, I was shocked that 95% or more of the visitors on the pier were Punjabi families, most of whom spoke only their own language. I felt like I was the outsider. \nThis is the Canada that Justin Trudeau and his father had envisioned for the rest of us. \nNot assimilation, but asian diversity.

They have huge posters in the Philippines that say come to Canada and how easy it is. The Posters are everywhere promoting going to Canada! That is what is going on even outside our country!

I wanted so badly to become a Canadian but sadly, after living in Vancouver for 1.5 years, it became apparent that staying in BC would mean never being able to afford to start a business (let alone buy a house) and that making friends was not something locals were interested in doing. I discovered that Canadians were exceedingly polite and helpful to others in the community, but not friendly. The difference is someone being kind enough to return a lost wallet (with the money/cards still in it!! WOW) or phone but won't invite you to their homes, join friend groups, or social circles. Side note.. I also learned that I prefer more overt racism than the polite version experienced in Canada. At least you know where you stand with someone..

It is not racist to say there is too much Indians and some should get deported back. I know a lot of Indian friends from Brampton, Toronto, Mississauga who were born in Canada and also have the same views as me. It is not sustainable and there is no multiculturalism. Indians who were born here and their parents had to adapt, work hard to get to where they are and helped Canada. Most Indians today get benefits, commit crimes, do not adapt to the culture, and ultimately ruin the economy with mass immigration.

I think the reason why some immigrants are emboldened to disrespect Canadian culture and values is because people are taught a false narrative. For a long time, we were taught that Canada is an immigration country and all are welcomed. It makes immigrants believe that our tolerance has no bound.

I really hate when people say there is no culture in Canada!! How so? Of course Canada doesn't have long history but still Canadians need to protect their identity. Multiculturalism and diversity is BS !!! As an immigrant myself I don't want to live in the country full of diasporas. Yes, there are no guarantees in life, but immigration consultants aren't instructing you to be realistic about immigrating to Canada even if you are a nurse, studied in STEMs or structural engineering etc. Alberta could start charging provincial taxes, Quebec could cut off their welfare. And other Canadian cities could stop collecting garbage all the time and not fix their roads because many people can't afford to pay their property taxes due to high employment. The globalists want 15 minutes cities. The federal government is assuming massive immigration will solve Canada's aging population. It won't. Health care is actually better in 2nd and 3rd countries if you have the money. Even if your home country is at war, it's still better than the drug crisis in the major cities of Canada. No joke. Now, does everyone get it? Canada can not afford to pay for any social programs, even with taxing the middle class to death. This isn't about racism or blaming any mirgants it's about corrupt dishonest politicians who will increase the number of children living in poverty. Canada is the worst place to immigrate to! The real problem is that Indians don't assimilate very well. In Fiji Indians were first brought in 1879. After more than a century they finally took over the government. This has led to 4 coup de tat. I personally wonder if Pierre Trudeau implemented a plan of social engineering in order to destabilize English speaking Canada. A very real problem is legislation that has favoured minority groups. The 1984 Multiculturalism Act has stifled debate on the subject and the Employment Equities Act of 1986 has allowed minority hiring quotas to discriminate against the majority. Just remember that it was Canadians that voted for this.

Being Indian, I think your government should have clear mapping between immigrant and value she is adding to economy. Unnecessarily for appeasement if they keep on allowing criminals, Canada will be worst. Also Indians need to mix up more there if they are immigrating, rather than having isolated communities.

Shifting taxes that hurt poor people (like income and sales taxes) onto land value taxes would stop most of this. It would become expensive to sit on vacant investment houses and corporations and landlords would be forced to sell them.
