I am Québécois, and things here are quite different from the rest of Canada. For example, we have a law here that clearly forbids wearing religious signs when in a position of authority. Even a teacher, because they are a figure of authority for their students, could not wear the Roman collar, a cassock, a hijab, a niqab or anything else of the sort while in school. In the streets or any other public place, there is no problem at all. Everyone is welcomed to express their difference of culture or religion in the way they dress or in whatever other way. They are treated with the same respect and kindness as anywhere else in Canada. It is only that the separation of religion and state, and religion and authority is paramount here. Everybody is free and can express themsleves freely. But don't use that freedom to impose your views onto others. \nSo, when American judges are chosen for the federal court specifically because of their christian fundamentalist biases, it doesn't resonate well at all for me or the majority of Québécois. When the rights of the LGBTQ+ community are being questioned or jeopardised. Or a previous federal judgement like Roe v Wade is being overturned for religious reasons... it is a definite turn off for all of the Québec people to even remotely consider the United States as a destination to emigrate to (supposing that one would want to leave our beautiful country).\nMore and more, America, that used to be recognized as the land of the free, appears to be retrograde and restrictive and definitely not so free.

Basically, for the past four years, Biden, Harris and the Democrat Party have spent hundreds of billions of US tax dollars flying illegal immigrants in and basically leaving America’s borders in Mexico and Canada wide open to mass illegal immigration. Then they lied to the American people about the real numbers and how bad the problem really was. In the past few years, the Democrats have spent billions throughout all of our federal agencies via misappropriated US taxpayer funds that were earmarked for American citizens or American infrastructure and development, then used these misappropriated, taxpayer funds to provide housing, food, education, medical care, and in most cases, luxury hotels. Just within the past two weeks FEMA spent over $500 million to provide luxury hotels for illegal immigrants yet a few weeks ago they were still claiming that they didn’t have enough money to help American citizens who suffered catastrophic loss during recent hurricanes and wildfires. The simple fact that Democrats got more upset that Elon Musk bought Twitter than they are, that their own political party in government for the past four years, has literally been holding them at gunpoint and forcing them to pay taxes so that they could steal it or launder it into their own campaigns and pockets is literally disturbing! WTF!!!! If any of those other federal agencies are ran or funded the way U.S. AID were, with the massive corruption, misappropriation, fraud and theft of taxpayer funds, then I hope DODGE goes through an completely audits, every single federal agency in the United States. No wonder the Democrats are freaking out the way they are, if the Republicans got caught this bad with their hand in the taxpayer cookie jar, then you know the Democrats would be screaming a different tune. The Democrats are trying to manipulate taxpayers into believing utter nonsense like their phrase “ no one voted for Elon Musk. “ but in reality no citizen ever votes for the hundreds of the civilian presidential appointed positions to run these federal agencies, every new president pics/appoints to these positions every term. It definitely explains why hard-working tax paying men and women are getting completely ripped off and robbed every time they look at their paycheck and see how extremely and unnecessarily high taxes are now. The Democratic Party has completely destroyed its reputation with the American taxpayer, they got completely exposed for their corrupt, anti-American, extremist, radical,and woke liberal agenda. They were absolutely using tens of millions of US taxpayer funds to finance terrorist organizations like the Taliban and Isis, billions of US taxpayer funds, pushing their racist and sexist woke liberal DEI agenda across the globe, they were absolutely bribing corporate news media to control the narrative and manipulate the American people to influence elections via corporate news media subscription payments to very left, leaning news organizations, such as politico and others, that were clearly and obviously bribes to the media, just one of the NGO of many organizations under U.S. AID paid $75,000 of taxpayer money a year for a Digital subscription to politico’s corporate news outlet , that any one could sign up for $10 a year like any other news outlets digital subscription. The list of fraud, corruption, and very obvious US taxpayer funds theft, just goes on and on and on. I think the worst betrayal of it all is the fact that any US tax paying citizen or to steal one single US tax dollar from the government, we would be publicly arrested, put in handcuffs, charged with a felony, and prosecuted to the absolute max, the law would allow, but these Washington elite politicians are allowed to do this without even a public slap on the wrist is the most disgusting and devious, betrayal, and loss of trust that the American taxpayer has ever known.???????????????????????????????????????????

The problem is that they do it in Canada like they do at home.?

I have no issue or problem with the roundup & deportation of illegals who are criminals but treating all illegals in this manner is inhumane & unconscionable. Many illegals have lived & worked in the US for years paying taxes, are unable to file tax returns and unlikely to collect social security if & when they reach that age. What the country needs is immigration overhaul & reform.

Well nothing like that, I live in Canada and can verify that. Problem is quality of immigrants, especially student is trash in Canada, Australia and Europe. They come to shady universities for studies, work full time both legally and illegally rather than studying and at end of their education, they have a fake degree with zero value. Just like most of the new graduates in India who have a degree with no practical value. \nIf you have a good degree, right skills in tech and some experience, there are tons of opportunities in Canada. I cuss Canada everyday but that's because I lived 10 years of life - studies and work in USA. So whether I move to Canada or any other country in the world, I would do the same as US has no equal in the world. I lived in US for 10 years, then India for 3 years and came to Canada 3 years back. I would still move to India after getting Canadian citizenship, but not because Canada has something bad or India has something exceptional to offer, but because I want to live with my parents in India. Thats the reason I left US but came to Canada to get a backup.

The problem is throughout the Anglo World, USA, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand, we are allowing millions of immigrants from the third world, when in fact if AI is going to take 70/80pct of jobs in the future we do not need immigrants from the third world at all. The fewer people we have, the more wealthy we are. The other problem is allowing immigrants from non-compatible cultures of people who do not share our values, culture, religion, or way of life, they generally live in their own areas, speak their own language, and do not/cannot integrate into society, most consider themselves as Indian, not Canadian because like for instance in the UK where we have similar or worse problems, they can never be English, or Scottish, or Welsh or Northern Irish. We are not and never have been nations of ''communities'', we are Canadian, American British, and Australian, but we are all connected in our Judeo-Christian roots, values, culture, and way of life, the vast majority of these third-world immigrants can never be part of what we are. That causes resentment, even jealousy, and one day it will end badly

Just come here Legally and there is not a problem. Simple as that. You can stay and chances are that you will be taken of. Yes, honey, Africans will be the next deportations if they didn't come into OUR country legally. It's ILLEGALL to come into ANY country and stay without paperwork. ANY country would do the same so why is America being treated so badly for doing what is right and legal?

I think the problem with many US attitudes is they have been brainwashed that they are the BEST in the world. Many have not travelled outside their country and still think that….based on what? When we have travelled to many places, Americans are not looked on favourably as tourists. Sorry, truth. Healthcare and US justice systems are broken and racism is rampant. I have “close” family living in US for over 25 years and now we don’t talk. They have been sucked into the Trump vortex, very sad.

If your country is bad enough to make you want to flee, why do so? Every country has had to struggle. Even here in the US horrible things have happened to it's citizens. You cannot run from your problems. They must be solved, one way or another. The US had a civil war. It was horrible, though you could argue the outcome was good. If you live in a country, you have a duty to be a part of that country. Whether that means voting, partaking in social norms, etc., you are a part of that. It is not another country's problem if that turns out being bad. If the majority of a country installs or allows in one way or another a horrible governing party or group to run things, it is their fault and theirs alone. Like sticking your hand into a hot pan, there are consequences. This will get bad before it gets good. Hopefully it ends good.

I’m very thankful to the churches that help people with some of them food banks even a church knows it doesn’t help it gets them bye and if you think getting by is healthy when you can’t work a good day because your stomach‘s so low because your children are more important to eat than you? this is why America can’t take care of their own because they’re too busy taking care of the fake

There are enough trans athletes in the world and good enough shape to compete on a world in Olympic level and all the levels beneath those, that I'm going to say that if someone transitions who is already in the military and they can still pass all the requirements to remain in the military, they should be allowed to remain in the military. That's fair. Edward Snowden, while in boot camp, and correct me if I'm wrong but I think he was training as a Navy SEAL, hopped off his bunk and his shins that were already broken disconnected and threw him on the floor. After his surgeries and Rehabilitation he was allowed to return to training. And this was with two broken legs that took weeks to announce themselves by disconnecting and misaligning to the point he could no longer Walk and Run on them. If he can do that then somebody suffering through all the crap that they have to go to go through to become another gender and the hormone balance they have to maintain afterward and they can still do their job they can still get in the rain, they can still run an easy 10 before breakfast, with a full pack they can still Shoot Straight they can still command they can still follow they still love this country and want to uphold our Constitution and defend it against all enemies foreign and domestic, then they should be allowed to stay in the military. A physical and mental Fitness is all that's required then I'm going to say this officer qualifies. Now what about the mental problem of being a man and considering yourself a woman or being a woman and considering yourself a man? I personally believe there is one God and his only son is Jesus who died for our sins and this guy created the universe and loves us but Mormon Jehovah's Witnesses Catholics and Muslims do not believe the same thing that I believe. Their ideology is different from mine as this man who identifies and has had surgery to become a woman in the US Military believe about himself.

When is Malaysia going to do the same?\nThere are so many citizens from Africa that one can't understand why they are here in the first place. Also many foreigners from Bangladesh, Indonesia n Myanmar, marrying here to get their children to have Msian citizenship. I work with people getting them housing and I can tell you that the major focus is housing illegals besides that rent is too expensive. We do have problem with housing people, besides that there are too many buildings. There is not enough money to pay rent forever for illegals and they are the majority to be house.

As I see most assume that people being here illegally means they must have entered the country illegally. There is no way they were already here for like 9 years created a life abided the law and was late on a form or an error occurred. Unfortunately mass deportation does not allow for grey areas and now all are treated as criminal. And mass deportation can not be done humanely not with the lack of facilities to even house it’s always been a problem, jails were used and are being used.

The drugs problem in the US is only the problem of the US. If there would be no consumption, there would be no drug smuggling. It’s like alcoholics blame their addiction to liquor stores and obese people food stores. The main question is why in the US so many people have such a bad life that they only can take it under drugs? It’s always easier to blame others for own failures.

The trouble with political commentators is they try to think like a politician? Trump is not a politician! So think like a businessperson, its the deal and what is the best deal for the USA. At present he is the catalyst for many things and the most worried are the politicians and a lot of their lucrative deals they have made, in most cases not to the benefit of the country! In fact, it does America a favor, so if it becomes cheaper to make it at home, guess what? That's what they'll do, create investment, employment, greater wealth etc! And like most media outlets, they like to mix facts up, its not drugs from the north thats the problem. What Trump is implying is that Canada is aiding and abetting illegal immigration to another sovereign country via government policies! Plus the Trump administration is transporting illegals back to their country of origin rather than to the last country that harbored them! And the common theme is, the people suffer for what?

how dead do your brain cells have to be to think that doing something like this will immediately solve the problem. If there wasn't a demand there wouldnt be anyone trying to fill the demand. Purdue Pharma also helped create the demand by pushing highly addictive opioid drugs and lying about it to people. Those people they hooked didn't suddenly disappear. It created a chain that we are still seeing today. They would rather put a bandage on the bleeding wound than cough up the money and the actual will to start solving the crisis that is driving people into drugs. Like lack of affordable housing, once people lose that safety and are on the street drugs end up providing a relief from their situation. Lack of any meaningful mental health care, or any health care at all. There are underlying things that aren't getting solved, people will always find new ways to find or make drugs whether those drugs come from other countries or just created inside the US.

Why in the hell would any military want to have to through all that with any individual when there are plenty of normal candidates available? I think everybody is missing a point here if you went in and you had already transitioned.I don't think there should be any problem with serving your country as I am a former veteran. I think what they are saying is that transitioning while you are in the service and taking time away from being readily available for a chosen procedure, it is not military readiness. How is this difficult to understand?

Was all 20 years of “her” service as a transgender, if not, then her case has no ground to stand on, because its even worse for the soldiers around “her” to have to deal with that shit. No place for transgenders in the military, cause now they’re asking to be included, next they’ll be crying about their own toilettes and barracks and everything else. All soldiers left their life behind to be part of the military, and they wanna allow this. Dont care how good they are suppose to be, they are a distraction, and the military is the last place you want people distracted. They dont have so many transgender troops that it will take decades to fill their place, STOP WITH THE BS. 1 person being successful, mainly because of what they did before the transition, does not make “her” proof that its not a problem. Thats like in the middle of corona and i stand there and say “corona isnt a problem look at me, im healthy” while other people are dying. 1 person can equal proof or can equal an anomaly. Espically since most of “her” success came before the mental illness.

You can gather tens of thousands of people to illegally invade a country but you’re telling me these same folks can’t put their heads together to build themselves a town. Or to gather in front of their politicians house and clean out their corruption in their country. Or to formulate a deal with some other country’s so they can get some funding to startup opportunities in their own communities. Trump is using military aircraft to deport immigrants. That is the issue. If they sent them on commercial flights like it has been done for years, there wouldn't be a problem. Countries protect their sovereignty.

No offense, since I don’t know if you guys drink coffee or not, but You do realize other countries export to the US. Have never heard of Guatemalan, Brazil, Peru, Marrocan, Ethiopia, Belgium, Costa Rican coffee? Arab countries etc. They all make great coffee. Coffee is not only from Colombia. There’s so various countries producing great coffee .\n\nThey all export coffee to the US. Unless you ONLY like Colombian coffee this shouldn’t be a problem. I’m sure this benefits other countries to expand. Each with distinct flavors and aromas. \n\nStarbucks imports coffee from over 30 different countries from Latin America, Africa, Middle East. \n\nIt’s like if Trump puts a 25% tariff on French wine. I love my French wine and it would suck. But I still love my Italian and Washington State wine.\n\nBananas like mention also come from other countries as well like Guatemala, Costa Rica, Honduras etc. \nBasically other countries exist that benefit from this. The only problem I could see is they can’t produce enough . Which I doubt. And I’m sure African countries or other countries can under cut prices if others try to inflate prices just to get market share in the US. \n\nAlthough, coffee prices are not only determined by supply and demand. Country of origin and brand also plays a role. Like I said it’s like wine. I love my cheap Washington State Merlots and my Italian Chianti, but people still buy over price California and French wine .

Sad. But not our problem or responsibility to take care of them. There’s so many other countries out there. They won’t let them all in. It sucks to have to be tough sometimes, but it is necessary at this point. Our own people are suffering and if the media showed more of that and less of this type of stuff, it might be better.

As an Indian Immigrant who left recently, here are few tips for Canadians:\n\n1. Not every brown person is Indian, I knew people from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka identifying themselves as Indians.\n\n2. Its not entire India but two major states, Punjab and Gujarat, with majority of aggressive actions coming from IMMIGRANTS from Punjab and not native Punjabis who are born and brought up here.\n\n3. Immigrants can’t vote, so majorly its not your fault and so is not immigrants fault but the Government that the CITIZENS elected brought immigrants for boosting their dead economy.\n\n4. Controversial but I will say it, Canada is a FRENCH country with English as its second major language. No others language is as prominent, So if you are sure that a brown person is an IMMIGRANT and they can’t even speak ENGLISH properly let alone French, 99% chance he/she is a problem in your country and does labour work.

The problem is that when they ask for a tourit visa, they stay and want to work. Europeans and Americans as well as people ftom the rich Ara nations go to Infia as a tourist and then go back to their country. Thailand and Vietnam allow more Indians be ause Indians do not want to work there. We are right. We must not give visas unless we need the person. India should fo the same.

The problem with the way things have become here is that now people that have immigrated legally to Canada and are citizens are now becoming targets of hate and violence. I agree that once the visa is expired people need to go and honor what they signed for. We are also punishing those people who have done nothing wrong. This is really scary to see in our country. Hold government accountable for what they have done and ourselves accountable for who we elect and how we treat other human beings. We are all humans no matter skin color or where we are born so be kind to each other. Yes they need to follow the rules we have but we also need not be hate filled and violent, that is not what a Canadian is.

This news is unfortunate but we cannot deny the fact that majority of Indians lack civic sense. The poor and the lower middle class who lack civic sense are not the problem. Sorry for the prejudice, but they rarely plan to travel abroad. The problem is with the middle class (and even rich) Indians who have the money to travel abroad but lack even basic civic sense.\n\nThis is very unfortunate, but I have seen this with my own eyes.

Indian has talent that world needs, so does Cuba have the best doctors in the world. Problem India has it the respect they show when living in other people countries. People are telling their government to change policy. Canada is changing government to remove all illegal scammers with Canadian visa in Canada.

In Asia they would be shot. Thats why I have so much respect for those countries. Illegal activity that puts their citizens or their well being at risk will not be tolerated. You do the proper paperwork and you get your visas. Cartels put them crying women and children on them front lines to exploit sympathy from Americans. This is a latin American problem why those countries are so bad that those vulnerable women and children are in those desperate situations in the first place? Why is their police/ government not protecting them????

The problem is fear that Indians will travel to the West and not go back. Not just Indians, but Africans, South Americans and many Asian countries do the same. I've lived in the US for 55 years. There was an Indian music troop that came to the US to perform, maybe 20 people, including singers, musicians, comedians etc. After their tour in the US, half of them did not return to India. They figured they can make a better living in the US and live here as an illegal immigrant. This is too common. The next time when a troop of musicians want a US visa, chances are the immigration office will think twice about approving a visa. I can travel anywhere with a US passport because people know that Americans will return back to the US.

Well i don't blame those government making even harder for foreigners to access abroad.. \nSOME people that applying for visas have ulterior motive, and SOME tourist have so bad attitude and manners to the point the locals are just so fed up.. the the point it is even better for no tourist at all.. \n\nlets take some examples.. \nIndonesia, Bali.. Their sacred ground are mocked and used for nude photoshoot by drunk tourist..\nJapan, Kyoto.. They put a literal banned on all tourist that are visiting geisha district..\nItaly, Venice.. Venice over-tourism have made them surge price thus disrupting locals price, Environmental and cultural damage..\nthese are the few of the problem with mass foreigners coming into other countries..

Indians are peddled this dream that everything outside is a heaven since early childhood. They see pictures of skyscrapers in Manhattan, London and Frankfurt and think everyone is living like that outside. These people are further brainwashed by immigration agencies and disguised human traffickers to put lakhs or even crores on the line for just going outside. They sell their lands, properties and other assets just to be able to go out pursuing a misleading dream.\n\nThis is a problem especially in states like Punjab, Gujarat, Telangana, Andhra and Kerala, where most of the people still believe that it's better living outside than inside. These are not people who don't have anything in India but rather well-to-do families that have homes and assets and families in the country. \n\nThen comes the added Western bias and negative media image through propaganda. \n\nIndia has much work to do - if the country keeps complaining, nothing will get done.

Chinese fare no better wid china many r trying to escape the ccp. Saw a doc on british customs ppl catching ppl - 1 indian guy claimed to b a student at a english college was his bad luck dat da lady interviewing him knew a bit of basic i.t - dis kid lied abt da college he did enroll buy failed & dropped out , he fidnt know squat of 1st yr basic i.t , his english level was putrid , da u.k customs also caught illegal chinese working in chinese restaurants living like squatters. Wrt indians - fake degrees can be bought its a huge multi billion dollar scam from within india to a web outside from middle East to far East. These ppl enter under false pretences hsve no real value & end up frying chiken tikka , making bombay crush & rotis on da street side ! These r leeches that give those with genuine qualifications a bad rep. Bec we all get painted wid da same brush ! Facts r facts it mite b hard to swallow & o ly hits da news wen ppl r caught ! Dat series on an entire village of kids scamming via cell phones feeding inyo local politicians was hopefully an eyeopener. Its up to indians foreign offices to clean up but they r short staffed , & it seems govt attitide is rather the scum become someone elses problem ! Bad policy dude ! These r ur ppl & as such for brand india only quality shud b exported. These duffers can join cpi & Congress. ??

I think the Canadian government needs to be a little more careful with the type of immigrants that enter the country. I don't see it as a problem to have Chinese, Japanese, Indians and other people immigrating to Canada. But I think it is also necessary to attract more people from Europe to live in the country. Canada is a country with a white majority and, if they are not careful, the country's demographics could change a lot over the years. European ancestry needs to remain alive in the country. Especially British and French. That is Canada's identity.
