I’m sure there are some who are genuinely good people and want a better life in America. But we have no way of knowing who is good and who is bad. I worked in a slaughter plant way back in 2009 almost all the workers were from Ethiopia, Africa and Middle Eastern countries. They had signs that said no washing your feet in the toilet ?. It's was gross because it's where alot of your food comes from. I can almost guarantee there will be no more workers doing all the crappy jobs that illegals do. If your country is bad enough to make you want to flee, why do so? Every country has had to struggle. Even here in the US horrible things have happened to it's citizens. If the majority of a country installs or allows in one way or another a horrible governing party or group to run things, it is their fault and theirs alone. As I see most assume that people being here illegally means they must have entered the country illegally. I am a Canadian in Alberta and the reality is that the Liberals have weakened the Canadian economy and our standing in the world. Their decision to cripple our oil and gas industry and our lack of ability export our products elsewhere in the world is an issue created by the policies of the Liberals. To impose a carbon tax and further weaker the average Canadian is terrible. There are some policies I don't like out of the U.S. but the reality is that it is never an idea to pick a fight with the toughest kid on the block knowing you will lose. Trump doesn't even want the tariffs he wants Canada to pull it's weight in defense spending and cooperation. Trudeau backstabbed Trump in the past and that won't be forgotten. We need a new government with a leader that understands more than being a drama teacher and snowboarder. Unfortunately, most of the significant issues Canada faces is the result of self inflicted wounds resulting from incompetent leadership. We didn't have anywhere close this level of issues with the Harper government. We are lucky to have the U.S. as a neighbor so let's do what is good for both nations but there is no way the woke Liberal's can do it.

They think their tariffs will do a thing? US is their largest trading partner not the other way around. It will harm them significantly more than it will harm us. American Nationality is a social construct you either qualify for it or you don’t. There is nothing about not having trans in military not having value. The Navy trans as a woman is not a woman so when did he/she transition, Before or after. She can look female but he is a he with all the advantages of muscle mass. Since he actually passed the physical stuff indicates the maleness prior to transition. I’d like to see the requirements if mental fitness before the transition and after. Beside getting breasts did he go all the way with removing male organs? If not then it’s more a dress up issue. Being in the military is probably not really a good place for trans. Is he now a lesbian as acting a woman? So many questions with few answers.

I understand wanting your people to have dignity, but I’m not sure if the Columbian presidential plane is the best way, the best way to provide dignity for your people is to create a country where they don’t have to leave, where there is opportunity, where there is safety and true equality, when we leave our home countries it’s because our leaders have failed us: I hope this is resolved peacefully.

I can't believe that so many young children can be seen here! That's such a dangerous situation for parents to put them in! Apply for citizenship the right way so you can bring your family safely! Then, when your family is here with proper documentation, you'll be able to raise them in security without fear of deportation. I hate to see children going through this. They're at the mercy of their parents' judgement & things could be so much better for them if they weren't dragged through traumatic situations like this, just so their parents can cut corners. Why in the world can't you apply for citizenship the proper way? If your criminal record is the reason that you can't, well that's on you. As a Brit I know many decent integrated Indians here. But none of them are recent arrivals. Older immigrants were respectful and wanted to be British and adopt British ways. But newer immigrants act as if we owe them something while acting in disrespectful dirty disgusting ways. For example in India I have to use Indian toilets as Indians do. I don’t pretend I don’t understand how to use them, I don’t need instructions on the door and I don’t break the toilet by standing on it, shytting up the walls and all over the floor and leave it there like that’s normal. I’ve worked in offices where this was routine when Indian contractors were brought in. Integrated Indian men seem to take great pride in dressing smartly and smelling good. But it’s really common for Indians to smell REALLY BAD. Poor personal hygiene plus excessive amounts of Indian food (you’re abroad ffs try some different food!) creates a truly vile odour. Some Indian men also think it acceptable to stare at and harass British girls (although to be fair they do not have as bad a reputation as their neighbours) they are also rude and racist to white people especially women. Some Indians in 2025 still seem to think they’re living under the Raj and Britain is ‘oppressing’ them. They’re not and we’re not. The empire brought benefits to India and left peacefully over 70 YEARS ago. We don’t owe you ANYTHING. This victim mentality means India will NEVER be a proper first world country. You can flood the world with sheer numbers but you will never be respected or improve the world in any way, you will only ever leech off the invention of others. I do not mean to disrespect the many decent Indian people I’m just telling the truth. As a culture your presence outside of India is negative because of the way so many Indians act, trying to create India wherever they go. And they have the cheek to say this is ok because they got colonised. WELL SO DID WE! That is the truth.

Lived in Canada for almost 40 years. Worked in USA for 5 years 25 years ago. I did make a lot more money in USA then, luckily, I was in my 20s and almost never seen a doctor in my 5 years in the USA. \nThank God I didn't get into any accident while there. \n\nIn general, I observed many people in the USA are not good neighbors. Simple observation, ex you drive and merge into a lane in a busy SF Bay Highway you need to fight hard to get into a lane. In BC, Canada, merging lanes is very orderly, each vehicle takes turn merging into a lane one entering from one lane and then another vehicle from another lane with respect and consideration. \nIn the USA, I think it is this brutal mentality translates into policy in health care and education, you are not responsible to help your community in any way and take while you can for yourself.

Never lived there but I drive through alot. California used to be alot nicer but even in its prime its a waistland 3rd world country compared to canada. Texas was horrible. Everyone is rude and stupid. I understand the lack of education but even the people in charge are very simple minded and it's very rare to meet a beautiful woman. So, you are an illegal immigrants for years, not planning to regulate your situation. Then, despite the lack of certainty on your situation, you decide to have a baby (I say decide as there are too many contraceptive options at hand nowadays so it is literally a decision made) so that that baby becomes an American citizen, yet with a family/parents without a clear and legal pathway. How does that make sense??? To me it doesn't and citizenship should be by conferral in case of any immigrant, even for the respecive descendants of those immigrants. That's how it is here in Australia. Hard and expensive process to apply to but it is the only way to keep your house in order. If one of your parents is Australian, then citizenship by descend applies. No other option. So simple.

They don’t have to give up hope, just have to come in the correct way. This is a chance to work there, save money so they can take of themselves once they get here instead of being a burden on us. Strange how they are afraid for their children being left after school but not scared of them drowning or being eaten by some jungle animal getting here.

A lot of Indians treat white people really badly. Especially when there is money involved. It’s now extremely common that people here hate dealing with Indians as customers of their business and will go as far as avoid it altogether. They will often relentlessly try to negotiate services, lie and say anything to get get their way, pester businesses until they cave to their demands and even leave bad reviews which they say they will change if you give them a good deal. None of this is the way things are done in Canada and that needs to be respected. Something kind of funny, I’ve heard many people say that Indians will often say they will refer tons of friends and family to a business if you give them an unreasonable discount (which they never do once they’ve gotten what they want), but what they don’t realize is that referring a bunch more Indians to them is the last thing that business wants. And really, some of the discounts they want on things are just ridiculous. When I was selling my car a few years ago, I had it listed for $55,000 and I got bombarded by Indians offering $20,000-$25,000 and every lie under the sun of why that’s all it was worth, other people are saying yes to offers like that for the same car, dealerships are selling them for that much and so on. Like come on. And I guess while I’m at it, I hate to say but it’s a common thing here to walk into a gas station and the smell of body odour just hits you like a brick. I’ve stopped going to 3 different stations because of it. I’m sure there’s some pungent white people out there but damn. This is on a whole other level. It literally fills the entire building.

There is nothing wrong with rigorous checks. I would want the same for India as well. Vet who gets to enter the country! No one should get a free pass. Ultimately, visitors must benefit the receiving country in some way and not impose additional burden! Would you not want rigorous checks for people entering our country through neighboring territories such as Bangladesh, Nepal, and you-know-who? Thank goodness for border control. It preserves the rule of law throughout the world.

South Africans have had to comply with these requirements for years. Letter of invitation for your stay. \nProof of residence in host country.\nProof of financial means to support yourself whilst there.\nQuality medical insurance in case of emergency. \nReturn flight ticket. \nMedical clearance for TB, HIV, STD's etc etc\nProof of employment in your home country.\nProof that you will return home. \nSubmit all that, and probably a few things I've forgotten. \nBTW, my hubby is a UK citizen, and we've been married for years, and I would still need to apply and comply!\nNo country owes anyone right of access, and if it threatens them in any way, they have the right to decline the application!

It's very contradicting to hear that Hindus are the most law-abiding citizens, highly educated, good jobs, helping in their society.
