Unfortunately, the people we put into power are responsible for this. We have the power to turn things around but it takes backbone and awareness about what is really taking place in the upper rankings of gov't. We chose to go along with it all, wear the mask, impose the jab, lock ourselves down, isolate each other, and then reelect the same people who put those policies in place. It's our fault, no one else. But we can change it on a dime, and for much better.

One of the problems that perennially gimps our economic development is our low population relative to Canada's geographical size. This means that there are fewer people available to contribute to economic growth, particularly in vital sectors such as manufacturing, agriculture and services. This can limit the scale of production and result in decreased productivity, as there isn't a sufficient workforce to fully utilize available resources.\n\nThis can also pose challenges in terms of infrastructure development. Building roads, railways, and other transportation networks across such a vast territory becomes more expensive and logistically complex when there are fewer people to benefit from and support these systems. As a result, it can hinder trade, transportation, and overall connectivity within the country.\n\nAdditionally, a smaller population means a smaller local market. Domestic demand for goods and services may not be as robust as what we would find in our neighbor to the south, which can limit growth opportunities for businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises. This can discourage investment and innovation, as companies may find it difficult to achieve the economies of scale needed to compete globally.\n\nThen you have the shortage of skilled labor in certain sectors. With fewer people available, finding qualified professionals, particularly in specialized fields, can become challenging. This can lead to a brain drain, where talent and expertise emigrate to other countries - again, like the United States - depriving Canada of vital skills and knowledge.\n\nFinally, our low population has a negative impact upon the government's revenue base, limiting the amount of revenue generated through taxation. This can constrain government spending on infrastructure (particularly in the energy sector - when was the last time we built a nuclear power station?), public services (e.g. health care), and social programs, which are crucial for economic development and societal well-being.

Great video, candid and honest appraisal of the current situation in Canada. We moved to Canada from the UK 20 years ago and initially we loved every minute. But the slow spiral into the hell hole since Trudeau took power has totally changed our opinion of Canada. We have now retired and spend winter in the USA and considering leaving if Trudeau gets re-elected next time around. Also we have to say how Canadians are very disingenuous and can be two faced.\nWe do have many Canadian friends but in 20 years we are not that close to them.

As someone who moved Canada 3.5 years ago, I agree with all the reasons mentioned. There are many things government could have done better to fight against the inflation, housing crisis, high cost of living and rise in crime and homelessness. I don't even want to mention about the taxes. Like I am almost giving half of my salary to the government yet they are still taking %13 more on what we spend on, yet I've never seen a single place where that money was used to address any of these problems. One of the reasons I moved to Canada was to have a better life style, more buying power and better future for my future kids. But at this point I feel like I am living in a zombie land. High skilled workers will have some other opportunities elsewhere but refugees and low skilled workers will be stuck in Canada and it will get only worse with the current policies.

Sadly city is declining. This is mainly due though to the poor federal government that wants to destroy Canadian society in its quest to stay in power. No thoughts on how to sustainably grow a country foster growth and development of the economy. Providing needed housing development and health care to match population growth. The chasing of woke attitudes obstructing the development of resource industries that could provide much economic wealth has led to destruction of our once great country and making us an international joke. We have turned our backs on once good allies as we now support many terrorist states and organizations. So sad to see the decline of what was one of the best nations on earth.

I was born in Canada but I'm married to an immigrant, a hard-working model citizen who is loved by everyone, we have a child together and we've now decided to move back to Japan. I will not have my daughter grow up under sharia law. I'm educated enough to know what happens when we allow Islam power. They will become the majority because, they use violence to attain their goals, and Canadians are too politically correct, too afraid of being accused of being Islamophobic. Many will think that it won't happen here, just as they think that they will never become ill or be harmed by anyone, but it will certainly happen. We are preparing to leave soon.

It boils down to the Liberal Party, which has been in power since 2015, e.g.:\n- high immigration targets and housing/jobs/healthcare/etc can't keep up.\n- decriminalization/destigmatization of drugs (especially in Vancouver)\n- political correctness, censorship, gender ideology, health mandates, soft on some crimes but harsh on thought crimes, etc.\n\nAs for other things like weather and challenges in finding a job, these were always the case but Canada really started to go down when Trudeau became PM.\n\nI migrated with my family as a teen. Parents (engineer and nurse) couldn't find a job in their field. Mom had to start as a care aide while she re-certify as a registered nurse even though she has a masters and taught nursing in a college in the Philippines. Dad had to settle as an appliance technician.\n\nThe 4 of us lived in a single-bedroom basement suite, but we bought a half-duplex in Vancouver in a couple of years, which would be practically impossible these days.\n\nI make a decent amount niw and own 3 properties, but if I have to buy my house at its current market value ($1.9m), I can't afford it. Even that half-duplex, my parents sold it at 6x during a down market years ago.\n\nThen there's crime and drugs: I've worked in the downtown east side of Vancouver since 2006 and the last couple or so years has been really bad - it's like a zombie apocalypse. Glad I work remote and have moved to a suburb around Vancouver. That said, I'm highly considering moving but it's hard with kids and aging parents.

Anybody can talk without action. The fact is Arab Saudi, Egypt , Jordan should put their army in Gaza to protect Palestinians. That's what the Arab world is afraid of. Afraid of losing their thrones, afraid of dying. It's a matter of time when we die either now or later. Honestly it sucks for Canada.. I mean this country has probably everything any country could wish for. From surface to ressources to access on both side to the two main oceans, having a border with the first world power (it can be a problem but a good thing as well) and while climate isn't always the best, it should he a paradise living there.\nAs a French with what I believe is the best and most generous medical service in the world, to think that Canada spends MORE than us and have it a lot worse is crazy.. How did they manage that? France isn't renown for its efficiency..\n\nOne thing not mentioned though in the video which I find even worse than all of that, is how Canada slowly slipped down in freedom status.. More than any other country!\nCanada lost 6 spots in a single year in the human freedom index and got kicked out of the top 10 to land at the 13th spot.. At this rate they'll be out of top 20 in the 2023 report..\nAnd we all know you can easily lose freedom, but regaining any of it is close to impossible.\nGood luck Canada and Australia, you guys are in the same boat at this point

In america we like to shut out the people that are proven skilled and competent for mass migration of low skill, low educated, low/no English language understanding, with no clear understanding of where they are from and why they are hear. And by literally the 100,000s from the sourth borders from month to month. Where they can live here without documents and be part of our permanent surf class. I guess someone has to pick the crops, frame the houses, and clean the toilets. It's a disgrace to both them and us that we have built a system like this to sustain population growth and economic power.

Reduce taxes and remove Justin and his allies ASAP who are openly threatening minority religious group and telling them to leave the country. instead of making it welfare state, encourage both parents working families - that also implies improving education and health quality. Tired of waiting for hours to see a glimpse of medical staff at other end. Have no idea where all the tax we are paying is going. Probably for Justin's ski vacations!! Look at the road and transit conditions in any of downtown. Also make RCMP accountable and give them some power to deal with increasing crimes. While making the list I can clearly see - why anyone should even stay here!!

I’m first generation Canadian and went to live abroad in 2015, met my spouse, brought him back to Canada with me once I found a job in 2019but it took me a while and I had to go on welfare. It was tough going for 2 years and my partner only found a decent job that paid him fairly and has benefits after 4 years of working crappy jobs. We bought a house away from the city for cheap in 2020 before things got crazy and we’re very fortunate and happy with the services we have access to in the small towns around us. My only regret is starting our family a bit late but better late than never. Canada is a tough place to live but it was even tougher when I was abroad and I learned to appreciate Canada more. But Trudeau has got to go. We need conservatives in power again.

23:06... Our politics is more chill in Canada. Largely because having 5 different parties in the house means they need to co-operate more with each other to get stuffs done. That is not to say that we do not have a MAGA Republican wannabe party in the Conservatives (that can technically win power majority seats with only 18-22% of the total vote) but even if elected. They would still more than likely need help from other parties to pass any kind of terrible legislation. \n\nNot to mention our laws still need Royal assent. Meaning that if the King's Representative (Governor General) Someone not actually affiliated with any political party, decides that Parliament have gone nutty. They can just refuse to sign it (effectively a veto), or they can even dissolve Parliament and force another election.

Before with 5k Canadian dollars you would put down for a mortgage and get into the housing market. I feel very safe in downtown Toronto because I am accustomed to it. I've never experienced any issue with the homeless and continue to talk to them, offer them food IFFFF they just happen to be pan-handling and often hug them to make them very SEEN. I feel safer in downtown Toronto at 3 am then I do when the 905'ers (suburban types) come to party in the entertainment district or around any French-separatist bc of how they are liable to treat me for my lack of decent conversational French. And IF guns are reported, I have to the thank the US for smuggling them in. \nFinally - as for health care - I believe its breaking down... our hospitals are beginning to fail us. The decline in health care is SO evident, BECAUSE anytime the Conservative party is in provincial legislative power they drop medical and education funding. I believe medical funding is being dropped purposefully to manipulate the population's thinking in order to have us eventually\nvote FOR privatization of health care. I NEVER MIND PAYING TAXES - WHAT I MIND... IS HOW OUR TAX DOLLARS ARE BEING SPENT... it all depends on the party in power. I would pay 40% income tax happily IFFFF our tax dollars were devoted to services mirroring the way Scandinavian countries do - they invest it WELL in their municipal services rather rather than blow it. \nOur federal and provincial bureaucrats are sucking. I'm a Carpenter I'm sick of the government with regards to immigration and foreign workers that basically have a fn open border to come here thanks to the government in fn power these clowns are not qualified nor can they even fn speak English then they segregate themselves and send their money back to their countries why do we have to compete with these clowns that will work for less when there's plenty of people here that will work for good wages it's all fn greed it's fricken sad that they come here to drag our labour market\n down ?

8:15 there’s a reason for this. It’s a melting pot in America. Bringing all these different cultures together… but if too many from one country show up, they’ll make a community too large that they don’t need to melt with the population. There are Chinatowns and Little Italys and whole Mexican communities, but ultimately everyone has to interact with everyone else. Allowing 300,000 Indians to get green cards every year and only 1,000 Norwegians would lead to the Norwegians merging well with the country, while the Indians would all move to one or two cities and make entire sections of the cities like small versions of their own country. Which is the last thing we want. Once an immigrant community gets enough power to be a voting block, things are scary, but once it has enough power that they start getting their own representatives and passing laws for the rest of us? Laws the look like laws they had back in their own countries… that led them to run from their countries in the first place? It’s a concern. We want people to adapt to the USA and not try to adapt the USA to them. Over time, the US does change due to the growing voting blocs. But that’s after generations of those immigrant populations getting larger, and their children being born and raised in the country they’ve adapted to. When I see a protest of Muslim immigrants burning pride flags, or Chinese and Spanish-speaking Hispanic immigrants who never bothered to learn English, I see problems with our immigration system. But the kids of the Arab immigrants will be more tolerant, and the Hispanic kids will have grown up in American schools. Most Chinese-American kids might speak some Chinese at home with their parents, but they’re worse at it, and their first language is English. It takes second Generation immigrants to really start meshing with America. But if entire school districts are all Indian, and every store, restaurant, and business in a whole town is Indian, then those kids won’t adapt to America. They won’t get bits of their home culture from their time at home and with their neighbors, while also getting bits of American culture from their classmates and other people around them. Nope. They’ll only be exposed to the first Generation who completely took over the area- IF, we allowed for unfettered immigration from the largest countries. It’s a fact that immigrant communities like to stick together. But if not enough people are in that community that you need to reach out to others around you, it helps expose you to the rest of America… Anyway! There are a ton of shows that indirectly show this phenomena. Fresh Off the Boat. The Sopranos. Even Brooklyn 99. We see as traditional and hard-to-adapt parents have to deal with kids in the next generation who are more American, don’t follow the same customs and traditions as their parents, and overall just left more of their old culture behind. No one is asking that immigrants abandon their cultural ties, but if you come to America, there are things that people need to change and accept if they’re going to live here.

My brother was murdered in a small town called Kenora in Ontario Canada by a bunch of Caucasian guys. The police told us they were good guys from good families and they closed the case saying my brother pushed himself out of the window. His case and many others never made the news. They didn’t offer any investigations into it. They brushed that back under the rug saying it was sad, the end.

Build towns that are surrounded by walls give them a small space to live and build factories. Allow these people to have a small check and live and work in those small cities say in the middle of nowhere. Make them work for 1 year in those places and as long as they do good not crime and show up for work and take care of there living space then allow them to become citizens. That way you weed out the criminals and non hard workers. In 1 year you will have a good idea of who should be staying. Also its them paying for there spot and contributing to the us economy. Once they become contributing members of society and they get on there feet out of each check they will take a small amount to pay for all the resources that were used to help them. Also I belive the majority of the ones let in should be women and the young children. If I don't get free help working full time struggling they shouldn't either. Let's make america a manufacturing power house like we're were in the past and the only reason we are a super power now. Also do the same thing for criminals and the homeless teach them worth ethic and how to follow laws instead of giving them handouts to go buy more dope

The problem with accepting a lot of immigration from countries like Venezuela for example is that all the good people that have some influence flees the country, leaving tyrants to stay in power longer since most of the opposition fled the country. If they want to leave the country because of the elected government they have to stay over there and solve their problem. On top of that I have many friends who came to the U.S. because of the government but go back to their country every year for vacation. I am not against immigration, and if we are smart we can get more people working and contributing with taxes, I just don’t like the fact that most of this people are good people who fled their country to leave tyrants free to do whatever they want.

Facts they want you to make 3 to 4 times the rent then they are asking for the same thing the bank is asking for to get a home loan. And even if you have the income then you need to meet the credit criteria.
