Why are Canadian universities denying acceptance to Canada's business and engineering programs when these graduates are the ones who could invest in Canada and create enough jobs for Canadians? Why hasn't the Canadian government lowered Canada's age of consent so young women can get married again and have children instead of relying so heavily on immigrants for our population growth? Why is divorce law so punitive in Canada (a lifetime of alimony payments for marriages ending after ten years) discouraging people from getting married? Why does the Canadian government hate Canadians so much and is not reversing the destructive laws of Steven Harper and the conservatives? Is it the goal of the Canadian government to kill us Canadians and replace us all with immigrants who look like Canada's Aboriginal people? If so then why doesn't Canada protect white people from Aboriginal people so that white people can succeed in Canada?

it was about 5 years ago i had some 'car scene buddies' with nothing better to do so apparently they took up the hobby (for the summer) of calling out pan handlers in canada saskatoon sk. the lady they exposed wore (whatever nationality) robes , a visible minority. they observed you exiting a new bmx suv (male driver). once they called her out she moved to another location where they recognized and exposed her again. diversity is not our strength, liberals saying "we're all immigrants" is ignorant. my ancestors and all those who came before, came to canada with nothing. no federal financial assistance, no housing, no hand outs. just sent west to undeveloped and unpopulated lands. the pioneers that came and built canada to what it is today lived in poverty in extreme conditions and worked themselves to the bone to provide for their families and build and settle canada. these new 'invaders' are not the same as the pioneers who built and shaped canada

The problem is not the immigrants. The problem is with Canadian leaders, and the Canadians who elected and reelected them to office. I lived in Nova Scotia for just over 2 decades. I attempted to have many discussions about these issues and was shocked by the generally vapid responses I'd get. Much more to say, but the main point is that Canadians have destroyed their own country's quality of life and from what I can see, Canada is not worthy of respect as a nation. I take ZERO pleasure in saying this. However, the country should have provided the United States with a up close example of what a well run social democratic nation looks like. Instead, Canada is a joke to the far right and in fact fuels the far right in the US. Now with the global south amassing on the US's northern border (visit Halifax, NS if you have any questions about this), I view Canada as a threat to the USA - which is a nation with more than enough problems. A note to immigrants reading this: I respect many of you individually, and I do not in the least mind having you in my community. You as an individual are not the problem per se. The problem is that policy makers are simply using migrants to increase Canada's population to 100M by end of century. The one thing I can’t understand is how an international student from India can work without a social insurance number in Canada.They don’t have social insurance numbers in India.So places like Tim Hortons,Circle K and almost every fast food restaurant lets them work there without having Canadian taxes taking off their checks.Plus what happen to that box on most applications where it says are you legally allowed to work in Canada.

How about immigrants pay a nominal fee to gain entry to Canada covering legal processing that proves they are not criminals and that they can support themselves while here. Failure to these comply with these terms or any bad behaviour should result in automatic deportation. Otherwise, who is to pay for all their needs. Canadian households can no longer bear the weight of this illogical 'aid' to foreigners.

I'm sure Canada's current economic conditions are a complete disappointment to any foreigners who were seeking a better life. Working for low wages and paying a very high cost of living is not sustainable for anyone.

Canada needs to step back and reassess the plan for immigration and refugees. Housing, jobs, healthcare, education, cost of living, and in general all resources are already strained. We need to prioritize the application for citizenship of trained and educated workers that are needed and will benefit our economy.

Its always always about attracting "doctors and engineers" whereas the overwhelming majority of Immigrants that I encounter here in AB is from low income groups. Besides of that having a degree from outside of Canada might help you to enter the country but has no practical value inside of it. All the engineers that I know here had to re-study in Canada again.

Taxpayers are paying for immigrants' welfare, the CBC, Canada Post... Enough is enough.
