The United States relationship with the rest of the free world is at its lowest point in its history - fear not, we're closer than ever to Putin and Russia. No doubt he'll soon be visiting North Korea, Hungary and Belarus.

You get the government you deserve. I blame the American voters that put this lunatic in power, and his supplicant MAGA GOP. Hurting our best and biggest allies, and realigning with an evil dictator, Putin is the recipe for disaster for America. Russia is not the world power it once was, but that is the aim of Putin to revive the old Soviet Union. The EU will stand up for Ukraine, with the rest of the world. Then, the U.S. will be left with broken alliances, and only the axis of evil as friends.

Ah yes, the trade war that Canada will surely lose. I love Canada. Wouldn't trade it for the world, but this is a losing battle by which citizens on both sides will feel the full effect. Trump appeasing Putin is a chess move, that the PM seems to be overlooking. The US can't afford to go to war with Russia, but at the same time, it needs resources within Russia's neighboring region. So the US will do what they always do, and had people listened to what Kissinger had to say, they'd be better prepared for this. Nonetheless, let's stand proud and strong, and come together as Canadians in order to get through this.

Trump is obviously helping Russia with imposing tariffs on these countries, it's another way of helping his buddy Putin to get back on board with his failing economy.

I loved the speech of PM Trudeau- but one thing he kept saying is wrong. Our government did not do this - One man did this via executive orders. He does not care who he hurts.
