Trump is not really an American. He wants to be king. He has said it aloud. No real American would seek to be king. It is contrary to our national ethos. Trump will lie, do, and say anything to achieve this goal. What Americans don’t get is that kings need to have serfs. That is our role, in Trump’s eyes, as American citizens. He wants us jobless, penniless and totally dependent on the king. You think I am kidding- Trump is a malignant narcissist given to delusions of grandeur and, you voters have given Trump power to make his insanity a reality. Everyone is now bowing down.

Do not fall for Trudeau, he is not a competent leader. His resignation would explain his competencies. We pay taxes like crazy, he does not do a damn thing about it but wants to raise carbon taxes too.... He is just putting on a show.... For more than 9 yrs in power, he should have put Canada First, now that he is leaving and talks like he cares, what a hypocrite!

Trump has always been a conman and malignant narcissist. But now add dementia into the mix so his decisions are based on partial info because he’s forgotten the rest of it. His judgement is worse with dementia. His copilot, Musk, is on Ketamine all the time so his judgement, as we’ve already seen, is not to be trusted either.

And now there’s word that Trump might “meet Canada and Mexico” half way and re evaluate the tarrifs. He’s gonna do this because “he’s a fair guy” and the craziness of it is that it’s a crisis he created. It’s like setting houses on fire and taking credit when you put the fire out. I don’t care what Trump’s move is next, I am done with USA. Can not and will not trust them until Tump is gone.

As a European I must agree with Wesley Clark. Things have changed a lot since he took office. Most people here sees the US more as an enemy than an allied now! Let that sink in MAGA people if you can... He has made everything upside down. Supporting Russia WTF? I support Trump and I support MAGA. However a president needs to keep his word and Trump appears to have broken his word here. He asked Canada to reign in illegal immigration to the US and Canada complied. He said do something about fetanyl and Canada did. Trump said the tariff's were because Canada was not acting on these but now they have and we imposed the tariff's anyway. We look like liars and cheats. \nEven with Mexico we threatened tariffs if they didn't help with crackdown on illegal immigration, fetanyl, and drug cartels. Mexico complied and is also helping us. And we still slapped tariffs on them. We lied to Mexico too. \nAnd now we want everyone to trust us to negotiate a peaceful end to the Ukraine war with Trump threatening more sanctions on China and the EU. What the heck should they trust us and believe us after what we just did. \nWhen it comes to defining your character your willingness to keep your word overrules absolutely everything else. Our president gave his word that if these countries took certain actions there would be no tariffs. They did and now he slapped them both in the face with sanctions anyway. He broke his word. This is a dishonorable action. I hope it does not escalate from there. \nIf it was about promoting or building domestic industries, I think the Canadians could have helped us with that but now.... good luck now that bridge has been burned.

Don't buy Canadian Bacon, Maple Syrup and other Canadian goods. How is more sobriety a bad thing Trudeau? Shall I go on? That's not Christian. Even if you aren't Christian...that's not what America stands for. All for what...eggs? Guns? Cheaper groceries? Or because your need for hating a small group of people out weighs global peace. Europe has just announced an 800 billion Euro defence plan; I bet they’d be very interested in Canada’s critical minerals. Canadians will not forget this; this has damaged our relationship with the U.S. and it may never recover.
