Have never heard of Guatemalan, Brazil, Peru, Marrocan, Ethiopia, Belgium, Costa Rican coffee? Arab countries etc. They all make great coffee. Coffee is not only from Colombia. I'm a Finn living in Paraguay. My husband and I lived in Germany for eleven years until we moved to Paraguay two years ago. Life is good even though financially it's different than in Germany. Ma'am, when a country makes it harder for citizens of a particular country to enter their country, it is often because of the number of recorded incidents, crime from people from said country. If there is a higher rate compared to people from other countries, then it becomes harder. Let's be honest here... Indians don't have a good reputation abroad when it comes to such things... I'm half Nigerians and at least many Nigerians acknowledge why lately, it is harder for Nigerians to get a visa (Obv crime as well.) Has nothing to do with discrimination. Also, look at the state of Canada. Nigeria and India need to focus on bettering their citizens so that less people go abroad, which also reduces the chance of certain people doing crime, to avoid making it harder for honest people from the same country to get a visa. I'm a Canadian and I live in the US because I can't afford to go home. The only thing I like here is the weather. I consider Americans to be unsocialized, uneducated and paranoid. I have never met an actual country of people with no manners before and I have lived in several European countries. I won't even bother mentioning, health care, the education system or the police. They just reflect the people and flavor of the country.\n\nThe average working people can barely survive as it is and now the politicians are actively trying to kill the lower classes. Basically, a year of minimum wage take home pay. Very few people would find that amount of money easy to deal with.\n\nIn Canada it's not only free, but the government pays you monthly amounts if your income is less than what they deem enough to provide for them. The insane things that came out of my own cousins mouths when they hear our friends or partners of various cultures , our not understanding how big a deal and incredibly insulting apparently it is to have assumed someone American was lgbt lol the list goes on. In the Philippines ( I'm focusing on that country as a born Canadian Filipino ) there was a 40% rise in, not only immigration, but exclusively mostly caucasian immigration to the Philippines. Prices in the Philippines then skyrocketed exponentially. Yet, they ( The Philippines ) NOT ONCE complained....in general, let alone frabricated ussues to complain about like the manner which is demonstrated in all of North America. So, how much worse, how much more problematic, is the basically small percentage of immigration is in Canada?\n\nFurthermore, in the Philippines exclusively, the immigrants there, not care to learn the Filipino language and would rather go poor, than contribute to the labour force of the Philippines. So....HOW MUCH MORE VALID are Canadian problems with immigration?

I'm doing just fine in Canada, where I've lived my whole life except for 7 years in Japan. Any difficulties people having comes down to the individual, not a systematic national problem. My rent in Vancouver is under $1000, because I haven't moved in 11 years. I have no debt, no car, no expensive lifestyle, no drug habit. I made good choices. Others have not.\n\nCanada is still a land of opportunity if you get a job, get your vaccines, live within your means and don't expect a 1950s style economy, anyone can do fine. Healthcare access needs improvement, but we had a pandemic. The whole world did. \n\nIf you feel like you can't make it in Canada, you have no one to blame but yourself. Everything is relative. I’m an international student, from my perspective it seems like the government can’t keep themselves from messing with the economy, basically crippling it by regulations, making the market unable to take advantage of the increased labor supply.\n\nI have spent almost half a million in Canada, which includes tuition, living cost, and starting a business which now employs two Canadians. But because I spent one term as a part time student, I have became ineligible for PGWP, which means I have no way of staying in Canada through my own agencies.\n\nThat is a slap in the face for immigrants whove come here to settle, the fact that I have positively contributed to the Canadian economy than many Canadians ever have, while withdrawing absolutely zero from public benefits, now if I buy a house here yall will drop on me a 50%+ capital gains tax and then kick me out, why would anyone want to invest in Canada? I’m seriously considering just moving to Florida because of all these. \n\nWhat happened to the good old days when you can come here with nothing, integrate into the community, and then become Canadians? Almost none of the forefathers of Canadians had to contribute this much into the society first to become Canadians, they stayed because their peers wanted them to stay, and the market was free to adjust to the labor supply and housing demand without government interference.\n\nWhat I see is not an immigration problem, it’s a big government problem, Canadians have become addicted to the government making decisions for them. The government has its grip on every aspect of Canadian life, it has hindered the responsiveness of the economy so much, that it cant even pivot to take advantage of free capital (int’l students) and third world labor rates (temp foreign workers).

Another thing to consider is to not argue with the police. In a traffic stop, you will usually do much better if you are polite, compliant and apologetic. They can breathalize you any time they want- no probable cause required! Yes, you have rights, and if your rights are trampled on, argue it in court, not on the roadside. If you’re drunk, and they tell you to go home- do it. NEVER attempt to bribe a police officer (or other official)- EVER. \n\nWhen dealing with officials, or difficult customer situations, getting loud and argumentative will make them less likely to help you. Being humble, asking for genuine help will get you much further. Persistence is okay, but remain quiet and polite about it. “I’m sorry, but I just can’t seem to get this done. I’ve done what I thought was right, but it isn’t working. Can you please help me solve this? I’m really stuck.”
