Exactly. Just because YOU have a good salary or job, if everyone around you is collapsing economically then there is ZERO point in staying in that country. I was a PR of Canada until 2017 when I let my PR card lapse and I let go of my PR status. No reason to move to Canada anymore. I have seen too much destruction from drugs and addiction in Canada. The society has rotted from within and the foundation of it has collapsed socially. Doing well for yourself does not help when everyone else around you is on a death spiral morally, spiritually, socially and economically.

I advise you to think leaving Canada carefully as you are perfectly safe where you are now in central Canada. But you need money to live a good life. So your goal should be to get the qualifications for a good job, or good man to support you. As an old man in Arizona at age 76, I can clearly state the number of good women in your age bracket are rare too. Who needs any woman who is a meth addict, or someone with credit card balances, or an attitude? Not me, that is for sure. And the same for you if looking for a decent man as a sperm donor. No one needs an addict whether tobacco or booze, with bills, and an attitude. It is all about living a good life and teaching your kids the same.

I came back to Canada in 2022 after 20 years living abroad, and it's been a mixed bag. Getting a good job is extremely difficult as international experience is rarely factored into potential employers decisions to hire - even if the companies you've worked for are Fortune 500. If you didn't work for that company in Canada, good luck getting the same position. You'll be working in a junior position despite your previous job title. My wife is currently going through this. She went from Project Manager at one for largest companies in the world to junior developer at a small company. Pay is.......not great.\n\nI've been lucky with having a lot of support of family and friends. A lot of the clients I've started to work with in my profession came through people I know. I never would have got these opportunities on my own in that amount of time. It would have taken years. Nepotism played a big part.\n\nTo come to Canada, and start a new life without a solid support system would be absolutely brutal right now. I got really lucky, but my situation isn't normal. I wouldn't recommend anyone (Canadian or immigrant) to come back right now if they're been gone for a long time. The rent alone is enough to turn anyone away.

We moving back to Canada next year from New Zealand, the reason is the f.....up Government here, the Maori culture, the cold houses in the winter and no job opportunities, including a not good health care. The drugs are everywhere, here we have 7 different gangs on a small island who run the show. I sometimes wished I didn't needed to give up my German citizenship, but that's how that went in 1992.

I moved from Canada to the US 24 years ago. When I left I was worried about how expensive the US was, the crime rate, etc. It’s ironic that since then homes are more expensive, job opportunities have not kept pace with the US and the population has exploded. I am unabashedly pro immigration but the issue in Canada is a government that dramatically expanded immigration with no plan to address the housing stock until it was too late. That is ripping through the economy and tearing apart the country. I hope Canadians can find a good way out. ?

For me i don't think Canada is really bad at all i know everything is becoming expensive but not everything yes the house is expensive but for me right now i am already retired I'm 66 years old my house i already paid off i live in milton just outside of Toronto the only problem is my two sons but both of my son have a good job my oldest son he worked as computer software developer and my youngest son he worked as computer data in downtown Toronto now my plan i want to go back to my birth country Cambodia for my retirement from November to March April I come back to Canada to see my childrens and grandchildrens this is just plan but remember Canada still the best country to live compare to some other countries good luck to you Alina . The Lauren Southern delusion. It's not sad that you're leaving Canada. It's sad that you came here at a good time, at a young age, and didn't take advantage of all the of the opportunities here. There are plenty of women your age that are doing well in this country, but these women went to university, got a decent job right after, worked hard, saved their money, didn't spend it traveling the world, got married, bought a home, have one or two kids, etc, and are doing fine. Putting any blame on the government for your own situation, at the age of 33, is ridiculous.

Its every where in Canada not just Brampton, its like Canada is India because Canadians become minorities visible, I see that all of Canada are full of Indians. Good for Colleges and Universities. No youth citizens can not find a job for summer. Everywhere is full of Indians, Walmart now is 99 percent work there are Indians.

I think it's good that we run this kind of story. Most landlords especially for condos like this one in Toronto, are owned by regular folks who still work a job and have budgets and families. They aren't greedy, they aren't big corporations; they're just people who bought investment properties and want to rent them out for a price. Canada needs landlords because not every can or even wants to buy real estate.\n\nWhen you see stories like this, which I think are outliers, they're good reminders that being a landlord is risky and income properties don't print money. It's also a reminder to good tenants (which are most tenants) that your landlord isn't being paranoid when they ask for references, proof of income, etc. They would rather scare you off then be saddled with a non-paying, non-leaving tenant (rare as they may be) and they don't know you (and you don't know them).

Still plenty of opportunities in Canada? I watched and saw more than a few vloggers like yourself wanting to leave Canada. A few stated costs of living and shrinking opportunities. If you are a person with a good job where you are living, I would not encourage him/her to migrate to Canada. It used to be a great country, but not so much now, with slowly in decline; Neoliberalism and Trudeau and gov. has ruined it.

People here are complaining about the need to communicate in German even when they are high skilled professionals who speak good or excellent English (?). Just wonder how it is the other way round: is it possible for an innovator/highly professional worker to find a well paid job in the USA or Canada just with weak or mediocre language skill in English but with excellent/good skills in some other languages? Are other languages appreciated in English speaking countries when it comes to salary or position?\nSomehow I doubt it.\nYet there are highly paid special workers in the industry (mining, building) that actually do not have so good language skills but can their job.

I can't believe all the nonsense that was said on this video! Of course you have to learn the language, if you want to work in Germany!!! Has any of you tried to immigrate to Canada or the US? Nobody is going to give you a job, unless you can communicate in the local language! That is the same all over the world! European union countries have all got good social services and health systems. You want to benefit from the system? It's really sad to see this ..these kids don't come from great financial backgrounds ..and looting them for 20 to 25 lakhs is like a crime. It's like more educated way to loot someone. I think Manitoba is the cheapest place to live. Atlantic Canada, houses might sound cheap but most of them very old. To get job also is difficult. More tax and less per hour salary in New Brunswick. But good only for seniors, who retired after working in Ontario or BC or other cities.

As an Indian student, i would like to share with you my perspective \n1) you will never see me dancing in public, blasting music and littering \n\nI actually spend my sundays cleaning plastic from trails \n\n2) i am a full time student for 4 years funding over 90 grand for a bachelor on top of that paying my taxes and paying 1100$ a month for rent being limited to 24 hours a week I do not work outside campus I work the job the college provided to me \n\nThe problem comes up when people use the 1 year and 6 month diploma program to enter the country and work here full time \n\nThey associate themselves only with indians mainly because they cant speak the English language fluently \nTherefore they associate with the exact people they associated with back home \n\nHow will they adapt to a new country if they hang out with the same people \n\n\nI came to canada with a goal \n\nTo make Canadian friends \nLearn about Canadian culture \nStart a new life \nAnd work my ass off to get my degree \n\n\nMost people move here to make more money \n\nThey sell their land and do so \n\nPlease do not associate hard working indians who adapt and leave their past behind with these people who have come here purely to exploit the system\n\n\nTrust me I know it's hard to hear this but good Indians do exist. After watching your video u have some point. But since 2020 Canada donated to much money to Ukraine and also getting immigrants. Maybe you don’t know but Canada give the free visa to them and paying for the hotels. I also want to mention that Canada is not exporting much to other countries if you check you going to find out more. All the companies you showed they are in USA Canada don’t have them so. If you put yourself in this system, kurudi home itakuwa ngumu. You are also just one paycheck away from being homeless. \n\nCost of living is overly high. You work for bills. Some people get subsidized housing, but those housing are not the best places you would want to live. Mostly in poor neighborhoods and neglected. \n\nI came here and took myself back to school. One of the programs I did was an eye opener Leaderahip program. It gave me a glimpse of who I am and what potential I carry. And boom, I realized this is not my place. My life is not just about working and paying bills, it’s more. And this more can only grow home. Otherwise I will keep working with slow growth in employment, and come back home when I can’t live my full potential \n\n\nIf you have to, leave, come to Canada. Exposure is worthwhile. WOW! Sorry Cash but American are VERY undereducated about Canada. This has been going on for years on the boarder. It just up - ticked in the last couple. One of the problems here is we have ZERO vacancy rates , which makes it worse ...we have nowhere to put them, Then there's our foreign student problem which is very complicated and involve CON MEN in India , who have contacts/ family here and work the system. Up to and including helping them get drivers permits...illegally. There's all sorts of loop holes , how we found out about the drivers permits, why traffic accidents became more frequent of course. Then there's the fake colleges they set up and yeah the student gets a minimum wage job and lives in a house stacked with ppl in the same boat as them. Then find out they being rooked and stay with no education or if they do get a legit school they can't stay here and become a citizen because they can't find work in the higher professions ( doctor ) because the system is screwed then they move back home with a good education and leave us with gaps in our medical system. It's complicated and won't be solved anytime soon on either side.

Why do they think they have rights in this country? Canadians owe them nothing. Some of them lie about studying here but they are job seekers. If they do get to stay then they start bringing family here. The whole business is not good for Canada and our young people and the country at large is being adversely affected housing wise and job wise. Canada is betraying its own people with its sitting back and allowing this farce to continue. Another Britain in the making by filling the country with people who do not embrace our culture and values. The worst is yet to come.

I'm a Nova Scotian in Toronto that went to High School and College in South Carolina then lived in Chicago.\n\nI agree with a lot of what you say but not on Chick-fila. It is just over priced now. in the 90s in SC it was so GOOD. \n\nMy only hard disagreement is our politics. Our politics are boring I agree but that is because classically in Canada, our politicians stick to the issues. We try not to make our politics a spectical like Pro Wrestling. Frankly, Canada is freer & more democratic. I'm no Trudeau fan but his government got their shit together for Covid and have really done an amazing job on the economic recovery. Where the so calll Conservatives are cozying up to some very extreme groups that talk a lot of herritage shit while crying about immigration. Went to Canada in 2005 first. Things were so different. Was there just for a year before moving to California for about 9 years. Now back in India and love it here. Glad I enjoyed the good days in Canada and USA when it was really good times there. Even Many parts of Uaa are like this now. UK too is bad choice. I worked for a Canadian school/institute as their admissions advisor for India. But when things were not looking good for their job prospects I honestly told them not to go or wait to get in a better US university. Ofcourse this ethical mindset was causing trouble with my work profile and targets, so I quit. Atleast I won't feel guilty of misguiding hopeful students who were ready to take education loan by keeping their homes or ancestral lands as mortgage. I will advise the new generation to choose any country for education after doing all research, not just by the glossy picture they portray.. or best to stay in India and help our economy grow.. create jobs here. Better to live a life king size here than doing labour work in other countries. Better to be a part of growing India than being a secondary citizen somewhere else. Apna desh apna hota hai.???

It isnt an immigration crisis. Immigration doesnt stand alone as a political policy. We have looked at immigration through the lens of demographics. Canada is facing a crisis of demographics which immigration is helping to solve. As baby boomers begin to retire and millenials stop having children, in 10 years Canada will face a massive deficit in workers. So much so that the only solution is to open our borders and train new young families to fill all the employment spots that are begging to open up. The average joe on the internet cant see Canada in 20, 30, and 50 years from now. We have good politicians that can. Its their job.

Scam consultants in India, shady colleges in Canada and spurious potential students line up to abuse the system. Good that Canada is pushing back \n2. Amazon wale bhaiya doesn’t exist in most developed nations with high cost of labour. Would you rather take your Amazon return package to a mail centre or get paid less at your job\n3. Average home price is $300k in 2024\n4. Around 43% can afford a primary residence in Canada which is bad but not as bad as 10%\n5. lol I agree that safe supply was a stupid decision but Canada is not ridden with homelessness and drug use. Far from it actually\n6. Dental, vision and prescription meds are typically covered by employer insurance. There are govt policies in most provinces to cover these for low income families and seniors in most provinces. lol there’s no way it’s cheaper to go to a dentist in India \n7. Wait times for specialists are bad but if it’s urgent, one may access a specialist as soon less than a week. And no, babus don’t define it its an emergency, doctors do \n\nWho’s the hypocrite now? I agree with most of the information in this video. I lived in Canada from 2015-2021. When i used to attend college, parking lot always smelled like weed. People were always lined up at the “recreation drugstore” even in excruciating cold. Also, the job market is bad, most of the employers are racist. Permanent residency is very hard to get. Free health care is actually not free. It is deducted from your every single pay checks. If you had any emergencies, be ready to wait for more than 10+ hours; sometimes more than that. I remember when back in 2015, prime minister justin, got more than 5 thousand Syrian refugees, and people were complaining that they are currently facing job shortages, housing issues and many other things but their needs were completely ignored. I recently visited Canada, and it’s getting worse now, lots of traffic, crime and homeless people. I would still recommend if you want to go and get educated because the education system is good. But if your goal is only for settlement then i would suggest to apply for permanent residence first.

I agree and every Counrty has there own issues. I am living here from 5 years, I do my dentist, physio and other things in Canada. It's depend how much you earing and saving and have a professional job and medical insurance. But on the other hand, yes health care system have problems bcoz lack of Dr and Nurse and I also think politics also play a huge role in it. Bcoz Canadian complain about sending money to other countries and not focusing Canada. There is number of things change in five years and everything is so expensive now. Every country has their advantages and distadvantage. I like Canada but also love India too, I just don't like people who just sees bad in their own country and good in western countries.

i am big fan of your videos but as off i live in Canada since 2022, I am partially agree with you about drug, house rent and medical. \n\nOther than that I’m not agree with your views on loan you can get loan easily in canada.\n\nCanadian government is deporting that students or people who has misconduct the documents or have done some minor crimes or some other issues. \n\nYes there are lots of homeless people in canada but they are homeless because of their own mistakes like drugs and etc not because of the high rent i was a international student and i was paying for my rent. \n\nYes there are so many negative views about canada but most importantly you can earn by your self which is not possible in india. You can start from small jobs in canada which will pay you a decent amount on the other hand no one can earn that much in india while doing simple job. \n\nHere I’m not saying that India is not India is the best and i love india but as you say that grass is greener on the other side. But you also show the good points about canada. And it’s not gamble i have seen thousands of Indian students who is helping their family and making their own career in canada. \n \nOne suggestion for the next time you should have conversations with international students who is living here.

I tried to emigrate for years to Canada. I speak 9 languages, C1 (IELTS) and graduated as a French teacher in Albania and later Switzerland. Have a work experience in my field and are with my husband and child law abiding citizens. We tried for years and between IELTS tests and Credentials assessment it took a good chunk of our finances, yet we weren't deemed to be enough to emigrate to Canada. Even raised my child bilingual in English Albanian so she could adjust better and integrate. What kind of policies are these that repel people that are willing to integrate, that try to come there legally and respecting your laws and immigration programs and open the door to law breakers? I just wanted a simple life and a teaching job while holding the utmost respect for the people and the country. All this thing makes me sad, but also makes me feel stupid for wanting to do things legally or that i believed Canada was a country where law was respected.

I am most certainly in the minority here, as a Canadian. There are a number of things is dislike about the USA; I hate the political climate(but the Canadian one is turning into a dumpster fire too), I dislike how separation of church and state is not existent and how in some states religious beliefs influence policy to infringe on personal rights of everyone, and health care is shit if you don’t have money or a job that traps you. \n\nBut I also love that individual states have more rights than our provinces. That means you can find a state with values that fit yours more so than finding a province. I, personally, would find a state in which I was allowed to carry tools to defend myself(Canada does not allow self defence tools at all), and I would find one that values personal autonomy. \n\nIm definitely an outlier in Canada and the USA. Let me have my guns, don’t tell women what they can do with their bodies, make sure the poor have healthcare, and leave me the hell alone. I’m neither right wing or left wing. There’s are aspects of some places in the US I love, and some overall national themes I don’t. But I wouldn’t move to any other country than the United States. I hate the bad, but I can see the good despite what our media tells us. However, the system is beginning to collapse, and the average US citizen needs to see it.

I have been in Canada for past 10 years. Life have changed a lot since then. Standard of living has come down. Rent and mortgages increased. Job lay offs. Higher grocery rates and everything have gone up. It’s so hard to survive here. I had a severe sprain in my knee and I could not walk at all. I got MRI appointment 1 year after I went to doctor. This was the worst thing I experienced. My daughter was born very micro premature, doctors took good care of her and she survived here in Canada. We paid 0 dollars. In India the treatment would have costed close to 1 crore or I can say there is no specialized treatments in India for such micro premature babies. I’m thankful to Canada in this case. I have seen best and worst. So I’m neutral here. But I strongly suggest students not to come to Canada at this moment. This country does not have enough jobs, no proper education, no standard of living now

Don't generalize things..there are good things and bad everywhere. Canada has problems and they have grown over the years but it is still the most friendly place to live. If you are well educated and getting a job offer,take it. It's a big beautiful country to explore if you are an outdoor person. Don't believe everything on the internet.

This video does a good job of giving an idea of problems in Canada for immigrants especially students. Thanks folks for your effort. Many people who came in last 5 years to study find it very difficult to get a good paying job and some have even gone back to India after burning around 50 to 75 thousand dollars for a 2 year masters degree.

I am in canada right now. I live in Oshawa a town of GTA. Find a job is a problem. College life is good but there is a harsh truth of teachers being rude and disrespectful of the students. This country has a lot of scam. Even scammers are using indeed to get your emails and numbers to connect with you. Medical facilities are so irresponsible that the meaning of emergency in this country is 12 hrs waiting period. Not only the drugs are a problem. Bad parenting, Not understanding responsibilities as a tax payer all of these are included. And the most important role is played by the government who doesn’t have any plans to tackle this prblm ?

I went to Canada in 2017, due to lack of good job opportunities for survival. I came back. I couldn't cope up with the failures and decided to pack my bags and return India.

Dude I like your videos. I don't wanna create hate but just giving my opinion. It is completely different then what you are sawing in video's. Canada is just same like other countries if you have enough skills you get a nice job infact they need skilled worker. And people are really good. In certain area there is hate not without reason. I won't go too far but look like you got sources from news which is 90% wrong and from person who depressed. I do agree certain areas are spoiled not like how it used be so if you came Canada with doing some ground work It is not bad.

Canada is the most beautiful country in the world that’s its usp , again we Indians can learn something from Canada is the way they preserved their nature that is remarkable that gives them good oxygen rich air , water and hygiene that Indian people are far away or never witnessed in their life. We don’t have any greenery in our country we really need to work on improving that but neither the people nor the government is interested in making good changes or even have such idea in head ! Along with that Canada has strong tax system you really get tax return as well as strong labour protection act that guards its resident from exploitation and employees can sue the employer if exploitation is provable on table with facts. India doesn’t have any strong labour protection body this results even in corporate jobs you have to work more than 8 hours and no OT , plus Canada has EI (employment insurance) so that means is , if you loose your job for any reason you will get government assistance to help to pay your bills till you find your next job. Plus disability benefits , food banks , freedom to live your life the way you want, you can eat what you want, religion based stupidity doesn’t exist in that country. So yes it’s true I don’t like the Canadian PM either but overall Canada is really good country and we Indians can learn atleast some good things they carry and adapt to our country and make India bit better place to live. The moment some says truth we Indians start bashing and may say go to Canada but we don’t realize our own problems and don’t wanna work.

Been in Canada 15+ years. Stay back in india if you are considering a move here. Life is better there 100%. \nOnly come if you are getting a good IT job that keeps you for 3-4 years and you limit your time to that to come and learn then go back after getting Passport. \nEducation is inferior here, Healthcare is non existent, political divisiveness governs all things, it lacks culture and color, it's cold, expensive, and dead and quiet overall.\nIndia is live and vibrant, yes with its own issues, but still more hospitable than here.\nYou fall behind financially because of taxes and also mentally becuase of overall slow pace and complacency in people/jobs with very little competition becuase of the oligarchs controlling all things.

My boss is an exchange student who came to Canada in hopes of attending school and applying what he learned in school to the job that he is doing. My boss is fabulous at what he is doing and I hope he gets the opportunity to stay. Good job my friend and best of luck!!

These people are not here to help they are not here to be friendly they are rude they steal and they are ruining lives its not because of their colour plenty of Indians and darker folk that are good people and plenty friendly these are not them and unless Canada rapidly industrializes and creates millions of new jobs there is nothing for the rest of us I don’t care about culture I care about having a job and having a neighbour that doesn’t constantly yell slurs at me

I've been living in Canada for the last 10 years ( came here as an international student), and now applying for my permanent residency. Went through high school, post secondary, and now working a full-time job in my field of study. I would say it's long overdue for Canada to scale down on its immigration policies (yes, I've had this thought even when I was a student so anyone who thinks I switched teams can shut up). There are simply not enough houses to accommodate Canadian, let alone immigrants. A lot of them only work minimum wage jobs which neither help the country with shortages in other fields nor their careers in the long term, and overall it gives immigrants a bad rap in the eyes of Canadian citizen. The recent changes in immigration imo is a good first step in the right direction.\n\nEdit: Also I'd like to add that if you're leaving your own home country to join another for a better life, it's your responsibility to adapt and contribute to their society, not the other way around. If you can't do that, stay in your home country.

They get a student visa and then when they graduate and get a degree from a Canadian university. They get jobs and work visas. Idk what trudeaus goal is with this huge influx of immigrants. But it’s gonna cost him his job and good riddance. And it’s setting Canada back by years. Even if Pierre is elected he will need a long time to reverse the liberal government’s damage

Close the doors for ten years please. Let the housing market catch up as well the job market. If you come to Canada be prepared to work non stop like a slave to feed yourself and get a good tent while you are at it.

Good job Harrison. It's not a race issue it's a numbers issue. Canada only has limited resources and as the demand increases so does the cost.

No international student(or Indian) will come to Canada if there is no route to PR. Do you think Canadian colleges and universities are very high in the ranking list? Not at all. So imagine if students only had the option to return home after graduation, none will come to Canada and the economy will suffer. International students exploitation is happening on the federal level, then why bother with Provincial and colleges? These are temporary visas but ultimately, PR(settlement in a new country) is the goal, otherwise these students will not pack their lives and come over here.\n\nReference: I came to Canada in 2022 and left in early 2024. There are many reasons why I left but one I felt was the demographic shift and the amount of refugees that country accepts. Additionally Canada needs to raise the bar on the quality of people coming in. There are more shitty people than there are quality ones because the government doesn't do a better job in filtering. \n\nXenophobia is here and spreading fast! Good Luck !
