As an American, I couldn’t be more embarrassed to be one right now, and I couldn’t be more thankful to Canada for standing up to this disgusting bully of a so-called President we have here in the U.S.

Im from Texas. I have never agreed with the policies of Trump. I'll gladly be on the front lines with Canada.\n\nOur country has not only failed us, but the American people that call themselves American. We have turned into a bigger facist nation than Russia. At least some of them go missing for trying to whistle blow on an international level. Meanwhile, we cry to each other internally as if anyone has the balls to stand up

As an American tariff china absolutely tariff Mexico sure but tariff Canada I’m not so sure about that. Canada is a critical trading partner. Trump is obsessed with trade deficits. Canada is a country rich in resources with the population of California. They have a lot to offer but a small buying power there’s obviously going to be a trade deficit. Idk I hope this all works out

The guy’s like a malfunctioning AI chatbot—spitting out pre-programmed nonsense nobody asked for while the crowd collectively checks their watches. He’s the political version of a participation trophy: loud, useless, and only still around because no one’s taken out the trash yet. Watching him talk smack to cameras is like watching a mime in a hurricane—pointless, painful, and embarrassing for everyone involved.

Prime Minister Trudeau’s speech is inspirational and would fill me with fighting spirit if I were a Canadian. “Donald” contributed the divisions in our country and now he is isolating us from our allies. As Americans, we are stuck in a relationship with an over narcissist. Being American stays alive in every one of us who upholds the ideals of our country. A president is a civil servant, so he is our employee. He does not behave like an employee and as such, he should be fired. It is what “Donald” would do. ??‍♂️

As an American Autoworker, this sucks. I understand both standpoints. I just hope that Canadians understand that not all Americans are onboard with what our President is doing. Mr. Trudeau, As an American who has never voted for Trump, I apologize for the person we currently have in the White House, and wish Canada and Mexico the best. Do what you have to do, and hopefully it will cause enough disruption that Trump will have to retreat. Most of us consider Canadians and Mexicans our friends. A lot of people in the US are contacting our representatives in Congress, participating in economic boycotts, and joining groups like the ACLU that are bringing lawsuits against some of the actions that have already occurred. As an American i dont want a trade deficit with canada. Get even or get crushed buddy. We move calculated, dont think our administration didnt crunch the numbers. We WILL figure it out without you buddy. Your people would travel down to the states to shop for the past decades. What does what say?
