As a FRENCH individual, I would\nSay this!!! WHY would you or even plan to come to a country that rejects you??? Why waste your money to come here???? Why immigrate here??? Lately, I have my older brother move back to France and my 2 daughters NOT willing to stay in Canada (they hate the Canadian education system here)! My wife wants to fly back to France and so am I and we will as soon as we can!!!! As for me … I HATE the Canadian healthcare system (rigid and INEFFICIENT) with all its stupid waiting times and lack of humanity and transparency!!! In France NO ONE has to wait 6 years (I heard this many times from friends) for an operation or 15 weeks to see pediatrician!!! I do not like the taxes, nor the hidden racism that is WAY WORSE than AMERICA (I have a coloured friend who knows well and who snobbed racist Canadians by speaking French to them. This friend of mine is in fact… a French citizen himself). I hate the Canadian transportation system, the banking system which is designed to STEAL from people!!! In Europe, there is NI Credit score and NO easy loans and you do not get indebted as in this rubbish country of GREEDY THIEVES (the Canadian bid corps) called Canada!!! Education in Europe is FREE!!!! Why should I allow my kids to study here and pay for veut studies??? WHY???? Le Canada est un pays de profiteurs!!!

I feel bad for those who were duped into coming here to Canada. They had big dreams of becoming successful here, instead not being able to do that and being forced to live in cramped accommodations. I work in healthcare, and a lot of people who work in the facility in which I'm employed were brought here from the Philippines and India, mostly. Some were hired directly by this employer, while others came here some other way. Those with professions like being an RN were under the impression that it wouldn't take that long or be that difficult to get their Canadian certification to work as RNs here. Instead, they found out that the process for that here in Canada is a lot tougher and takes a lot longer than they'd been led to believe. So many are left not being able to use their education to its fullest, instead working as care aides until they can get the proper certification. I know that this has also happened with doctors and engineers and to many in other professions for which they went to school for years. It's a real shame.\n\nThis massive influx of people coming from other countries, though, has been really tough on those of us who were already living here. It's been way too many people, and we just weren't prepared. It's been one of the biggest factors in the huge increase of cost of living and, of course, it's by far the reason we have an enormous housing shortage.\n\nI'm not completely anti-immigration, but I think that it needs to be stopped, at least for a while. Let us deal with what's going on now instead of bringing in more people that would only help to make things worse, through no fault of their own. There's no reason that we need to have more people coming here right now. We have way more than enough people here right now.

Now Imagine How Native Canadians feel every time they see a European calling him/herself as a real Canadian. You don't see future in Canada, but you can return back to your home country. But for Native Canadians, they don't have present and they can't go anywhere else, bcz its their home land, home country. It's like someone comes to your house as a guest, then they force you to live in one corner while captures the rest of the house and now even give some rooms of your house on rent, and takes that rent, gives you no facility, nothing. Europeans were invaders who captured the room or the lands of Native Canadian people and forced them to live in most unlivable areas.

I am a Serbian and Canadian living in Canada for the last 24 years. I love \nthis country I respect this country but my God is so much different than it used to be or it is me. This summer I went with my kids and wife to 6 different countries in Europe Eastern Europe and Central and have seen 2 alcoholic then I come to Canada I see thousands of drug addicts on the street. everything is overpriced ppl do not enjoy in here. When I came in 2000 Serbian economy was low due to the war now it is better and Canadian economy is worse so the gap is very small. you need to make 6000$ to live just ok and I do live well but there is always but. I call it a pressure cooker, I wish all Canadian travel abroad a bit just to realize that they were lied too and that there's a lot of bs. I can give you an example: Condo in Belgrade same size property tax is 200$ per year condo in Qc Gatineau 2500$ plus condo fees 400$ per month basically 7000$ wasted for what? no dr wholes on the street broken system. It will be for sale. I agree paying taxes on my house where I live but for rental property when you deduct all the expenses you invested so much money without any profit. the one that works and the one that scams the system make the same amount of money and we live approx the same. something is wrong there. I will live for many years to come but definitely not spending my whole life here due to many circumstances and expenses. Family values are getting killed and I have issues with that. The more I was pushed to change the more I went to church and believed in old fashioned traditional values. As you said I will always be grateful for what I made but working hard for two jobs in the last 20 years I would make that somewhere else too. Canada has changed too much since I came that's for sure. What triggers me the most fake approach when ppl say I make 100k wow then you didn't get that, that is only on the pay stub. how much did you get 50k that is the real money then you need to add deductions house tax this tax, sewage, water it comes less and less and then you realize that in reality you make more but you spend so much more with less quality of life. who cares how much you make the question is how do you live with the amount that you make.?

You seem confused to me. On one hand, you state that Canada is not working for you anymore, and then you go into a lengthy Feel Good rant about how great Canada is. As a natural-born Canadian from the 60's, I can assure you that this is not the Canada that I grew up in. Canada has been hopelessly changed, and is now a cesspool of utra wokism and ultra leftism. The looney leftist Liberals have destroyed it. And by the way, the Canadian passport is not as strong as you think it is.

I think that what you are describing is the case in most western traditionally European countries. I also think that is on purpose. I live in the US and have my entire life, I'm in my 50's (let's just leave that there!). the same can be said for many places in this country. I've lived in newengland my whole life. it used to be considered the benchmark when I was growing up in the 70's and 80's , as far as cost of living , cost to buy a home , wages and job opportunities , quality of life, safety. its not the case now. I did recently move to extreme northern new England this year as southern New England where I grew up and my family is , too crowed, too expensive etc. I am within 1-5 miles of Canadian border where I am now, but still in US! I do have a current passport, just renewed it and plan to visit NB and Quebec City and hopefully PEI . I do live in a very rural area with low population currently. farming and timber are main industries here. not a lot going on, but at my age I really enjoy it. reminds me of how things used to be when I was growing up 40 years ago! people and even young people are polite and decent here, no traffic. its a bubble, but we are 500 miles from the chaos to the south. I pray a lot nowadays! thx for sharing , I followed your videos years ago, I am glad you've done well for yourself and you've turned into a beautiful woman and a decent person! my daughters are half Ukrainian from their mother and Polish/English from myself. one thing about northern maine is that there is no fresh kielbasa , pierogie or kapusta up here! Leaving may solve your problems but only for very short time, because whatever place you end up in, it may be no better, and good deal worse, since you won't be a citizen there. Remember too, that Europe and US are all afflicted with the same WOKE, antidemocratic malady destroying Canada. The only sure way to improve situation is by staying, standing up and fighting (legally, and non violently if possible) for what you believe. I came back to Canada in 2022 after 20 years living abroad, and it's been a mixed bag. Getting a good job is extremely difficult as international experience is rarely factored into potential employers decisions to hire - even if the companies you've worked for are Fortune 500. If you didn't work for that company in Canada, good luck getting the same position. You'll be working in a junior position despite your previous job title. My wife is currently going through this. She went from Project Manager at one for largest companies in the world to junior developer at a small company. Pay is.......not great.\n\nI've been lucky with having a lot of support of family and friends. A lot of the clients I've started to work with in my profession came through people I know. I never would have got these opportunities on my own in that amount of time. It would have taken years. Nepotism played a big part.\n\nTo come to Canada, and start a new life without a solid support system would be absolutely brutal right now. I got really lucky, but my situation isn't normal. I wouldn't recommend anyone (Canadian or immigrant) to come back right now if they're been gone for a long time. The rent alone is enough to turn anyone away.

From Poland. Arrived yo Canada at the end of 2020. I am nearing my 4th year here, in a small village. I arrived with my 6-year-old daughter to begin my writing career. Now, 40% of my daughter's childhood has been spent here and I I go to court soon to fight for my child to be returned home to me. After nearly one year- a year of financial hardship because I have to travel without a driver's license and without a group of friends to drive me- I have my very first hearing with a judge in Youth Court in a matter that has no foundation to begin with, follows no rule of law, and acts arbitrarily. My child whom I homeschooled to the praise of the provincial ministry of education and was following a classical liberal arts education path that had her outpacing students in the province was entrusted to the care of a Child Services company (that has a record of placements that have resulted in child murders). My child's life has been irrevocably upset to say the least. NO ONE LEAVING CANADA GIVES THIS STORY AS A RESON FOR QUITTING THIS COUNTRY. I guess no Canadians care about their children like I do my precious gift from God. True, O come from the former Soviet Union where Marshal Law (Emergency Measures Act) were commonplace. I lived through two in Canada in 4 years: one Federal, and one through Provincial Youth Court where I await my turn to see a judge after my daughter was removed from my care. People do not know they have no biological ownership of their children, because I guess few Canadians value their children to care about their own laws. But these laws also apply to immigrants too. What money was taken from me during the move and resettlement, the government takes by creating more expenses for me than I could ever imagine or budget for. Emotionally, I am a wreck. Rather than commencing my writing career, I have been seeking low-income lawyers, reading the provincial law on Youth Protection, filing complaints within a circular system (the watchdog is part of the system not outside of it) and preparing all evidence to prove I have done nothing wrong [just like in communist rule]. Have you ever given any thought to the difficulties in proving your innocence? \nNO ONESEEMS AWARE OF THIS DETERENT TO BRINGING CHILDREN TO CANADA. NO ONE. IT IS THE ONLY ONE I COULD NOT PLAN FOR. All other complaints like the economy, or the weather, or inflation I have survived. But taking away my child, my reason to settle in Canada for a life of freedom for her, my legacy, was unthinkable. People ask me in this small village where is my daughter. Their rosy cheeks become snow white when I tell them. Canadians here are unaware and scared like cattle in a thunder storm. Many are addicted to welfare payments, cannabis, prescription drugs, and television. They all seem to be waiting in a pen of fear. I am stuck here now, with little financial resource to fight for my child's life. It is unfortunate that no one will read my comment because it is an inscrutable wall of text or too frightening. Unless someone reads it, no help will come for my daughter. (Because she is a dual citizen, the local Polish Ambassador will not step in - another drawback for having a Canadian passport). I wish you the best of luck and hope you get your visa to make your next move! I am born and raised in Victoria, BC Canada as a Canadian citizen at birth. Since my mother was German when I was born, I just recently found out that I'm also a German citizen from birth through descent through my mother. I've been living here in the US since high school when I moved from Victoria to Tucson, Arizona. I eventually got my US green card (permanent residency. I then moved to Madison, Wisconsin and became a US Citizen. At this point, I am a dual US and Canadian citizen in addition to being German citizen as well. I am applying for my confirmation of German citizenship through the German consulate in Chicago which would then allow me to obtain a German passport for access to live and work freely in EU and Schengen countries. I went to The Netherlands last January and I really feel in love with the Dutch culture and lifestyle. I am planning on spending at least a few years there as soon as I get my German passport. \nMy relatives in Canada keep telling me how lucky I am to be a US Citizen as they all say how terrible the situation has become in Canada. I am surprised since I've always considered Canada to be one of the top places to live in the world. I haven't lived in Canada for a long time and I've been doing relatively good here in the USA. I enjoy the US overall but we definitely have our share of issues here as well.\nAnyhow .... I wish you the best on your next location.

It's all fine and well that you want to leave Canada but where will you go that's any better? After all it is your choice. The problems we see happening around the world are a global problem. There are at least 2 major wars going on. Inflation is rampant in most countries in the world and we ARE heading for a global economic depression that will dwarf anything that we've seen in the 1930's. Speaking for myself my roots are here in Canada which is not the Canada I grew up in anymore. Sadly. Used to be a really great place to live until Trudeau and his band of thieves ruined it. I may as well make my last stand here. If I was going to move where would I go. The EU? Absolutely not! They're tanking. America? No effing way! The American empire is collapsing. Along with the FED note. South America? Don't think so. Most S. American countries are iffy at best. Australia? No. They're nuts. New Zealand? No. They're struggling badly and people are leaving there in droves. Africa? No way in hell. So that doesn't leave very much. Antarctica? Little on the cold side. Few amenities. ;) May as well stay where I am and take my chances. Better the devil I know than the one I don't. If you're serious about moving out of Canada be sure to do your due diligence and research about your target country. Grass always looks greener on the other side but many times isn't once you get there. One place that I AM attracted to is the Azores. Beautiful place. Friendly people. Good climate. One drawback is that I don't speak Portuguese. And I would have to be independently wealthy. After a certain amount of time out of the country I would lose my Canadian pension. It's said that where we are is where we're supposed to be. I may as well take my chances, make the best of a crappy situation and stay here. There really is no better or worse place than Canada. The majority of the countries in the world are struggling with their own problems. I'm not willing to jump from the frying pan into the fire. One of the biggest reasons I want to stay in Canada is that if it does come to a nuclear shooting war it would be very unlikely that Canada would be attacked. So here I'll stay. For better or worse. The LIberals won't be in power forever and if people have the smallest amount of sense, so few will vote for them in the next election that the Liberals will lose party status. I fervently hope that happens. ;)

So many Canadians in the same situation — perhaps use your Canadian passport ? so many better places for you to be… find a nice job across the border in the US — it’s so easy to get a TN work Visa, or work tax free in the UAE, or build a nice career in Singapore. I had the same problem with Australia — it’s my home, and my heart will always fondly call it home forever. Australia is a big country with small job market, generally ignorant (but nice) people and limited economic diversity. One gets proper civic amenities only in either Melbourne or Sydney e.g., top notch medical care, a wide variety of groceries etc. Taxation is very high and although some people will tell you “we are well taken care of…” that is not true nowadays. The Australian Government’s policies over the last 40 years destroyed manufacturing, the economy, working conditions and inflated the property market. A reasonable 2-bedroom apartment in a Sydney suburb could cost you Au$2000-3000 in rent or Au$500,000+ to buy — and that goes higher as you get closer to downtown Sydney. The problem is that incomes are not high enough in Australia and housing quality is less than average overall for these ridiculous prices. Food, tolls and petrol cost a lot, although Sydney and Melbourne’s fresh food markets give you better prices than you’ll find in most other cities. My wife and I had a combined income of over Au$300,000/year while we lived there. We finally left Australia and moved to the US because even with our relatively high income we could only have an average house for around Au$1.8 million, we couldn’t fill up the tub and have a proper bath because of water restrictions, our kids would get an average schooling and their only dream in life would be to one day own a house. We didn’t want to live like that, so we wrapped up and left for good. The US is much better for skilled people — I don’t mean plumbers, tilers, roofers or landscapers, although life is good for them too. I’m sure someone will reply to this comment about the gun violence in the US. All I can say is that in the US we have the option to defend ourselves whereas in Australia we are expected to quietly die if someone kicks us in the head, stabs us or shoots us. Quality of life is good here in the US for me and my family. Fly free, mate!

As a Canadian, I think it's pathetic that we're making it so easy for migrants to come here then sneak south across the border. Let's be fair, though: they've been doing the same in the other direction since 2017 and nothing/no-one stood in their way.\nThe fact is, both our governments have been run by incompetents recently who have no interest in enforcing borders. So now we have economic migrants shopping between our countries for the best handouts.\nWe're doing our best to get rid of Trudeau. Hope you can make similar improvements south of the border.

I was doing some historical research on the Ark of the Covenant....revealed some evidence that the 'Sephardic Jewish' folks have been hiding for thousands of years....and part of this involves the location of the Ark of the Covenant and the REAL exodus lands of the Ashkenazi Jews. The Islamics of Turkey don't want to give that back to them \n \nThere were THREE types of folks being attacked by Egypt at the time of Ramses II. There is a hieroglyph picture of him holding three dwarves. Three tribes of Jews here: Nubian (Mizrahi), Libyan (Sephardic) and Syrian (Moses' Ashkenazi). The European Jews were put into Turkey. Because they shared European blood with the folks there. They took their cousins in. But only THEIR cousins. \n \nAfter the Sephardic Jews were pushed by Persians into Spain they were kicked out into Morroco / Africa when the Europeans took back this region. They had religious and cultural differences and these folks were not of European blood. \n \nThe Sephardic Jews turned around and moved slaves into the Americas and impersonated French and Spanish settlers creating slave plantations. They blamed Europeans for this. This is probably because they hated both Europeans AND Africans for displacing them. \n \nPlease note they DO NOT have European blood. They are 50-60% Middle Eastern. 10-25% African and 10-25% Asian blooded. Absolutely NO Norse or Celt blood in them. They can pass close enough apparently for Latin folks or Basques. \n \nAfter the Brits took the Americas they gaslit their Ashkenazi cousins (who DO have European blood) into taking territory in Turkey and Syria and pushed them into Europe creating the conflicts that created WW1 and WW2. \n \nThese folks are extremely anti-European. We see them impersonating Spanish in South America. They are impersonating French Canadians in Canada trying to push for separatism from Europeans. They are in Russia causing racial conflicts in Russia possibly as Ingush and Dagestan peoples. It is very likely these are the folks that are attacking us all for racial hatred. Its clear they don't like Africa. Its clear they don't like Europe. Its clear they don't even like their Middle Eastern and Ashkenazi Jewish cousins. \n \nIt is NOT a coincidence that the regions these folks live in are under wars and massive migration movements today. (Israel, Russia/Ukraine, mass Migration of South America, mass Migration of Northern Africa, French Canadian Separatism). I mapped it. They are in EVERY region with wars and displaced migrants today. \n \nIndian Sikhs look like Dagestans. So they might be impersonating Sikhs now. They are causing havoc in Britain, Canada and Guyana. Trying to make money on illegal immigration out of territories they are trying to expand their own peoples INTO. \n \nThey look Middle Eastern they might be impersonating Palestinians and Israeli Jews too. You know all those protestors fueling the war in Israel. \n \nPlease get wise to their anti-European propagandas and stop attacking Europeans because THESE folks don't like us. News flash: they don't like non-Europeans either. These are the people creating chaos. They are impersonating all of our peoples trying to get us to fight each other to take advantage of the chaos. Don't enable them. \n \nTHINK. Do your research....make sure you aren't just someone else's puppet. These folks are dangerous. If you are NOT one of these folks DO NOT support crimes or false propagandas that attack other races before making sure. Don't just believe them when they shove you across the globe in migration when they tell you that you are legal.

Canada has to start recognising degrees from other countries. Here in B.C. we have emergency rooms closing overnight due to lack of staffing. We need doctors and nurses yet the barriers for those immigrating to get their degrees recognised mean many never qualify.\n\nCanada also needs to look at who we are admitting in and to terminate the family unification policy. When immigration was helping the country grow there was a different demographic coming in. Often it was single men or young married couples. As they came by themselves they assimilated into the mosiac of the country. When you concentrate on immigrants from one country instead of assimilating they setup ethnic communities. \n\nLook into what study groups have said that is contributing to gang violence. It's ethnic groups that have the grandparents, parents and grand kids all living in one home. The grandparents want the grand kids to adhere to their native culture. Unfortunately by time you get to the grand kids they are Canadian. They speak English/French depending where they live with little interest in speaking their ethnic language. There is cultural conflict within the home hence street life is where they find love and caring.\n\nSome cultures are not as community minded. Part of the high cost of renting/housing is based on greed not need. In my own community I know of apartment units now renting at 2,500 - 4,000/month owned by the same people that even five years back you could have rented for 500 - 800. There is no justification for that percentage of increase other than greed.\n\nJob opportunities. Summer employment for school kids is going down yearly. You see local business that use to hire students over the summer month claiming they can't find any workers. They bring in TFW yet Canadian students can't find work. You can tell the owners nationality of a business by the nationality of the workforce. A local store bought by a east Indian two years ago which at the time had a diverse workforce is now entirely staffed by east Indians. Yet who screams racist? \n\nCanada definitely needs to reconsider its immigration policy and bring in major changes.

As an Indian student, i would like to share with you my perspective \n1) you will never see me dancing in public, blasting music and littering \n\nI actually spend my sundays cleaning plastic from trails \n\n2) i am a full time student for 4 years funding over 90 grand for a bachelor on top of that paying my taxes and paying 1100$ a month for rent being limited to 24 hours a week I do not work outside campus I work the job the college provided to me \n\nThe problem comes up when people use the 1 year and 6 month diploma program to enter the country and work here full time \n\nThey associate themselves only with indians mainly because they cant speak the English language fluently \nTherefore they associate with the exact people they associated with back home \n\nHow will they adapt to a new country if they hang out with the same people \n\n\nI came to canada with a goal \n\nTo make Canadian friends \nLearn about Canadian culture \nStart a new life \nAnd work my ass off to get my degree \n\n\nMost people move here to make more money \n\nThey sell their land and do so \n\nPlease do not associate hard working indians who adapt and leave their past behind with these people who have come here purely to exploit the system\n\n\nTrust me I know it's hard to hear this but good Indians do exist. I have so many Canadian friends who love me as much as I love them. I know how hard you guys work and I am so amazed at how well you carry yourself through this hard time I unfortunately happen to be Indian something I cannot control and I have been a victim to so much discrimination and hate just because I happen to be born in India it's crazy. \n\nWe are respectful Indians we do exist we do have Canadian friends we do adapt to Canadian values and we work hard for the land that gave us this wonderful opportunity to grow . We have the right to a good life just as much as each and every one of you . We have family we have People we love and we have sacrificed a lot please don't demonize each and every one of us because of the ones who don't know how to behave

Rampant uncontrolled immigration (mostly from India) has directly affected housing, inflation and healthcare in Canada making life more difficult for Canadians, if you cannot see that and make the correlation by this point, you should really not be voting, as you’re likely one of the people contributing to the problem the Canadian economy currently finds itself in \n\nsupply and demand is a basic concept, one which most liberal voters and left leaning media stations really don’t understand

this is all bullshit because before the covid 19 there was enough people to fill all the jobs in Canada no one can tell me that we needed to import 4 million students from India as a away to get to immigrate to Canada these people will never return back to India i would not be supprised that there aren't kick backs to the polititians there is no shortage of Canadian born citizens to take the jobs that are available this is a scam by the Liberals the covid 19 did not kill that many people the importing millions of East Indian students and getting cheques in the mail from the Canadian govermment there is no shortage of rental property because the East Indians want to live in large groups in one home to cut the cost of living but they new that Canada is no India

This is SUCH a puff piece completely one sided that dismisses legitimate concerns as the only reason being xenophobic......Canada has always welcomed people but it was done at a lot slower pace where people had a chance to assimilate and build a life. You can't add over a million people a year with different cultures and pretend it's going to be ok. Ignoring the massive housing crisis, it's a culture crisis. A lot of the people coming do not share Canadian values, period. Canadians are noticing a massive change in the country they love seemingly overnight. You go out in any city and you barely see white people anymore. It's jarring. It was made into an amazing country by certain people and now it seems new immigrants are treated better than citizens. Everyone is in favor of immigration done the right way, but that isn't what's happening and natural born Canadians have every right to be upset that the country is being ruined in a way they don't want.

Crazy the amount of homeless in all the parks that where for children are now being use as camp sites. There are now quite a few news stories in Canada of immigrants leaving the country - some back home and others to the USA and other places. Many just get a Canadian passport and then leave. There are public health care and pensions, so it can be an asset and also a convenient travel document to have. A lot of Canadian university graduates have a very hard time finding work in their fields and a lot of them look to the US for a better future. Both immigration and unemployment in Canada are much higher that in the US - so more people are chasing fewer jobs that often pay less and are taxed more than in the USA. Opportunities are generally a lot fewer in Canada than the US, and the business environment is not as favourable, and taxes significantly higher. You would be getting some of the entrepreneurs from Canada moving to the US for more favourable conditions as well to launch a business and also now a lot more rich investor types, so-called high net worth individuals wanting to relocate, because they just raised the capital gains tax in Canada. Capital gains is also triggered on inheritance in Canada with a deemed sale of property and assets, so rich people would prefer the American system and want to be residents there for tax purposes and have their assets grow in value in the US compared to Canada. There are very large numbers of foreign students and other categories of immigrants which may have as their goal going to the US after getting a temporary visa to Canada which is easy to get - maybe something like half a million to a million people in those categories depending on the year, plus around another half million regular immigrants and refugees now. The Trudeau administration has increased immigration to record numbers. It has been steadily going up over the years for several decades since 1990. Because of family re-unification it can have a snowball effect and could significantly exceed 1 million per year. A lot of the sending countries have much larger populations than Canada, so there are a lot more that can be potentially sent to Canada in the future. About 1/4 of the population of Canada has been added in the past few decades. Add to that visitors and temporary visas - that is a lot of people potentially moving to the US. Before the 1990s Canadians visiting the US were not required to have a passport and a drivers' license or birth certificate was adequate. Now a passport is required. It is impossible to effectively control the long Canada-US border, so there could be some unified policies in that area agreed on between Canada and the USA on immigration and refugees. Canada currently has a very open immigration policy with the government actively seeking out more immigration beyond its current processing capacity and trying to take rejected immigrants from other countries. The Canadian government, especially in recent years under Trudeau is immigration hungry. It might be the only country in the world doing that. What some news reports are now saying is that some immigrants are actually leaving, since they find it so difficult in Canada and some are worse off than they were in the countries they came from, which were considered to be less developed than Canada. \nWashington currently has more immigration controls and administrative competencies than Ottawa, so US pressure and influence is a faster way to get reforms into the system than waiting for local politicians to do anything, which is unlikely. Canada is seen by some as a backdoor into the US. Biden's immigration policies could be seen as very conservative in Canada compared to Trudeau's. It used to be in the news about how refugees were trying to get to Canada and walking across the border in Quebec and out west from the US earlier, but now there are more news stories of immigrants leaving Canada trying to go the other way, probably due to high costs and unemployment because the government took in more people than it could absorb into the economy. They have the idea that immigration drives GDP growth so that they can borrow and spend more, expand the civil service, etc. without making any cutbacks or efficiencies, supposedly without the Debt to GDP ratio getting worse, just by bringing in more people as if that would drive the economy. A lot depends on who you bring in as well. Are they going to go on welfare, are they going to increase crime, will they somehow contribute to society, are they a net tax benefit or cost in terms of government services, will they invest money, will they start a business and create jobs for others ? Those issues do not factor into government decision making in Canada for the most part. Ontario Premier Doug Ford did say there were too many foreign students. It is bad planning not to consider those factors since there are other costs that grow with those policies as well, and infrastructure has to be expanded. I think that the real immigration numbers to Canada are not transparent or made public, nor are the costs involved, if anyone even knows what they are. Nor is the impact on crime. You can guess from what the reports are in other countries. The Fraser Institute has made some estimates on the net costs of immigration to the government budget a few years ago, which were very high and which by now have increased - the cost equivalent of several new aircraft carriers each year. They are big numbers which are not publicized, but it amounts to the fact that immigration is subsidized by the taxpayers in Canada and it is not paying for our pensions as an ageing society as has been claimed. There is less money for education, health care and pensions per person, and those social benefits will probably have to be reduced over time. Social programs can only be delivered to the extent that the government has money. The bigger social system a county has, the more such immigration policies are going to cost. Trudeau has been expanding various social programs as well, so higher taxes and debt are likely with that approach. Then more productive people and companies will want to leave Canada and go to the US. Probably the government does not know what the actual numbers and costs are and doesn't actively keep track of that information beyond what is required. Probably nobody knows what the true immigration figures and their associated costs are in Canada, and hardly anyone has even studied those issues. If they can just walk across the US border and get papers so easily making an asylum claim, it is not surprising, since it would take them longer to get a regular visa and work permit if they did it legally. You could call that a loophole in the US immigration system which is being exploited. The US is better governed in general and has a better system in many ways, but I am not sure if it is the same on that. People have arrived on boats and have not been sent back. At least in the US you have more open information about those issues. In Canada it is hard to find out anything about it. Deportations from Canada are very few. \nOn other issues in Canada when voting in federal elections you have to show a government issued photo ID like a drivers' license or passport to vote and bring a card that was mailed out to eligible voters that gets updated addresses when a person files their taxes. I have never heard of mail-in ballots in Canada, but there are remote areas of the country in the far north who may have special system for voting. It is easier to get a Canadian citizenship than US and many more citizenships are handed out in Canada each year in proportion to the population than in the US. Canadian might be one of the easiest citizenships to get in the world. The official line now is that it is a country of immigrants. Based on current trends, will very little opposition to it in the parliament and most MPs supporting it, future immigration to Canada could increase to several million per year because of the rapid growth of population in the world, and the momentum already growing of immigration to Canada, so it may change significantly in the future. Historically around the world you can see many examples that country names, borders, flags and languages change over time with population changes, so it might not be called Canada anymore in 50-100 years. For example, Bulgaria used to be called Thrace which had been a powerful kingdom in antiquity and had a different language which is barely known about anymore. Over the past 2,000 years it has gone through a number of changes and had various regimes governing it, has been independent and also part of several different empires. Canada has only been a country for a short time in comparison and has been been going through significant changes. Trudeau has said that Canada is a post-national country. Canada is also going through a period of critical self-examination and deconstruction-revisionism. A lot of what had been viewed as positive from its history now is seen more critically, with re-naming and removing historical figures now seen as negative.\nDiscussing immigration policy critically is considered by many to be taboo in Canada, unless a person is saying good things about it in general. You can hear people say that the government isn't processing enough people, for example, but not often that there are too many or that it costs a lot of money. The trend of migration from Canada to the US would only increase much more in the future as it is going currently, and its role as a stepping stone to migration to the US could increase. The way this would be seen by many in Canada is that they are losing valuable people to the USA whom they consider assets, since a lot of officials have been trying to bring in more people into the country, but not everyone wants to stay in Canada nowadays because of a lack of jobs and opportunities. As a Canadian - the immigration tom-foolery that is happening is just as bad up here. Our Prime Minister is a handsome idiot, he was a drama teacher before he became Prime Minister (I know, make that one make sense). He has no idea what he's doing, he's being used as a puppet for more experienced extortionists-erm-politicians. With the help of his party members and a coalition with another party, in less than ten years he has taken Canada from a great place to visit and live to basically what's happening in NY. Crime in our cities has gone up dramatically. Theft is on the rise. Homelessness and drug use is through the roof. Immigration is out of control. And our government also prioritizes immigrants and asylum seekers before born and raised Canadian citizens. As a Canadian who is tired of the nonsense that's been happening in the world this past decade, I wish our government would put on their big boy pants and do something about this uncontrolled immigration. Things are bad here too. Our government seems to keep changing policies and laws to further accomodate the insanity that is happening, I promise, not every Canadian wants these changes to happen. We are just as sick and tired of all this nonsense as our American cousins. I wouldn't be surprised if both countries at some point united in objective and worked together to fix this problem - but that's not gonna happen anytime soon as long as these dummies are in power. It's not even just in Brampton even 1 to 2 hours away immigrant and international students take all customer service jobs to the point that Canadians can barely get hired into these roles because we have expectations and rights that we worked for and I've seen these immigrants willing to work for less than legal minimum wage and they do not stand up for themselves or work towards having any shared rights. In addition many politicians on both sides of the aisle are rental landlords so only stand to profit from low rental vacancies and cramming as many people into a small space as possible. They've also cut funding to a lot of post-secondary institutions who rely on inflating tuition cost for international students. At my current role on a team of 15 people plus one manager there are only three white people, born and raised Canadians. The rest are all Indians including the manager and will frequently talk amongst themselves loudly in Punjabi while we're trying to serve customers in the English language. That's actually against policy but Canadians are so outnumbered by immigrants and specifically Indians in this place that it never gets enforced properly. I've never been anti-immigration but it's gotten so bad in Canada especially in places like Ontario that I'm now against it and will tell anyone regardless of their skin color to avoid immigrating here. I've been on a wait list for a doctor for over 11 years, I know people who have died from cancer due to delayed referrals due to long wait list for additional screening, it's insane and absolutely ridiculous especially considering the amount of taxes I currently pay and have paid my entire life as a born and raised Canadian.\n\nAlso it's absolutely true every single one is either taking or has taken post-secondary studies in business admin or management. We don't need more people in these fields we need Healthcare sector workers and not a single one that I've spoken with which again is quite a few studied anything related to medicine Healthcare nursing... not one.

The solution is really, and I mean really simple... Become a PR first, apply from India, go through the selection process. Come to Canada with your PR and then go get your education for much cheaper at a reputable University , not some unaccredited shack that presents itself as a college. They enjoy being Canadian\n\nOne of the students said it best... becoming an International student ONLY means you can study and get an education that you deem better than the one provided to you in your own country. No university having programs open to International students can promise to find you work or make you a resident or citizen of that country. No French, or German, or Dutch University that allows you to study there has any obligations to you working or staying there.

As someone who was born in Canada and left, I wanted to know about some current sentiment, especially by younger people. I think you had some interesting information. I'm actually sad to hear that crime and homelessness has gotten even worse, especially in places like you mentioned, DTES. One thing I want to share with you about the housing issue. Canada acts like a Federation. Meaning that a lot of decision making is delegated to the provincial and municipal level. Yes, Canada has goals for immigration. That's a super valid goal because every developed country is going through declining birth rates. Canada wants to lessen the damage that will be felt by so many other countries like Italy, Germany, China, Japan, etc. The issue with this federated government is like you said, a disconnect between goals and readiness. However, I really feel this will never be accomplishable because of all the lobbying that occurs at the municipal level that the Federal and even Provincial level government cannot control. Yes, there may be shortages in labour to do development, but even then, I really think that lobbying and corruption is keeping adequate supply from being built. From the homeowners and the perspective of the wealthy property owners, they want to keep the valuation of housing high by keeping supply low. Why else is the municipal government keeping such archaic zoning laws? From what I could find, there has been some talk about changing this (https://bc.ctvnews.ca/b-c-to-table-housing-law-targeting-outdated-zoning-rules-1.6627260) but I struggle to see anything really being done. That's probably because of lobbying. The immigration laws set by the government had too many loopholes and flaws ultimately. I don't think we are getting enough productive immigrants. Actually, the opposite seems to occur a lot. The wealthy from the countries I mentioned are abusing the immigration policies in Canada to transfer and preserve their wealth in Canada. I think it has hid in plain sight for a long time, and people have started talked about it in the last 5-10 years because of the struggles of housing affordability from the middle class. What about the immigrants that really want to start a life in Canada and find opportunities like you said? The housing is too expensive for them to do that. And spread the people out to the smaller communities that need workers instead of turning Toronto into whatever it is. Reduced taxes for your first property, but additional if you own several (a system similar to what Norway does). Reduced foreign ownership in our home real estate market (home should be for families, and not financial assets for international businesses).\n\nAnd like the video said some more darn infrastructure. In my childhood, I saw entire neighbourhoods being built in - timely fashions. Now it’s rare to see a single home under construction in my home city. Also I second that as a Canadian I really love and enjoy American people. Anytime I visit USA I feel so welcomed, they are always so kind, joyful, generous and hospitable. As a Canadian myself, what I don’t understand is why the heck would you want more people in country when 1 some places in Canada don’t have clean water, 2 rent/taxes are just way to high to sustain two people for food. Even the indigenous population hasn’t even had proper help in a long time. As an Indian who was born and raised in Canada (immigrant parents from 1994), one of my favourite things about being a Canadian has been finding my own path as a citizen. I still love my culture but if I wanted to be in India, I would have just chose to move back. My parents came here to give me a better life and opportunity. I have fully embraced that. It frustrates me to no end when I see other Indians come here and disrespect the country that is giving them freedom. Canada isn’t your personal frat party to act like a public disturbance. I have proudly adjusted to Canadian culture and I associate with it more than I do India, and I always will. My parents didn’t give everything up and move here just for me to pretend I’m in India. \nI hate that I get lumped in with this mess sometimes.

As a Canadian living in Canada for 20 years. This is 100% truth when it comes to Canada's medical care system. Furthermore, the issues with drugs and housing shortage to 100% true. One thing that Canada has for itself is the clean air and nature in national parks ( to get there you will need a car and DL). The other issue that would have mentioned is the house buglery, auto thefts, and gun shoots in schools, that the police in Canada no longer are willing to address. Lastly, it's critical for everyone to comprehend that the government itself knows that it's bad so they started a government sponsored suicide program for being able to get timely medical care. For example after waiting for 3 years for a knee replacement surgery, the doctor left the province and my mom was told that she can opt for medically assisted suicide if the pain was unbearable.

I am most certainly in the minority here, as a Canadian. There are a number of things is dislike about the USA; I hate the political climate(but the Canadian one is turning into a dumpster fire too), I dislike how separation of church and state is not existent and how in some states religious beliefs influence policy to infringe on personal rights of everyone, and health care is shit if you don’t have money or a job that traps you. \n\nBut I also love that individual states have more rights than our provinces. That means you can find a state with values that fit yours more so than finding a province. I, personally, would find a state in which I was allowed to carry tools to defend myself(Canada does not allow self defence tools at all), and I would find one that values personal autonomy. \n\nIm definitely an outlier in Canada and the USA. Let me have my guns, don’t tell women what they can do with their bodies, make sure the poor have healthcare, and leave me the hell alone. I’m neither right wing or left wing. There’s are aspects of some places in the US I love, and some overall national themes I don’t. But I wouldn’t move to any other country than the United States. My wife volunteered at our old church which catored to the homeless and I have known many that are no longer with us, nobody wants to acknowledge it because they do not want to face the fact that they are fellow human beings. As a punjabi Canadian who's parents came here over 50 years ago. Watching international students abuse things like food banks makes my blood boil beyond belief. One of the things I've always loved most about being Canadian is our reputation for being kind, caring, polite and helpful.\n\nIndia has a very different mindset, it's much more cutthroat and people are taught to find and abuse any and every advantage they can. When I was younger it was always really fun watching new families come here because the difference in mindset was so refreshing to them and it wasn't uncommon for them to want to very enthusiastically be a part of it.\n\nNow I see families come from India and they seem almost offended by the idea of wanting to contribute or help improve the communities and areas they live in. In the past they could see for themselves that mindset made things better for everyone, but because there's so much immigration now, they tend to move into areas where other new immigrants are also living and getting exploited by other slightly less recent immigrants. That cutthroat mentality is all they see and feel, everyone is looking to get something from them and give nothing back. So they do the same, and attempts to show them the things I love most about Canadians is perceived as just another hustle trying to take advantage of them.\n\nNobody is happy with this, nobody wins.

I applied for Canadian visitor visa since 70 days ago as I have all the conditions that you must have it if you want to get visa without obstacles for rejection as an official documents with financial status including bank account with title deeds for properties and long history of travel including Schengen area and UK but unfortunately today I was disappointed when I received an email from Canadian immigration visa office that I wasn't got a visa but instead I rejected and the causes first they are not sure that I will return back to my country so what else should I provided to believe me and how do they know that those who already got visa they will return back ? Do they have a magician stick ? The second reason that I am single and I don't have strong family tie in my country , the question is : are you sure that one have a family when he gets visa they don't applied for family gathering later on ? Is it normal that I put this obstacle as you should change your social affairs and get married in order to satisfy those responsible of the office and what you do after 2 years when you with USA and Mexico organize the football world cup what's the decision about giving visa to those single or not .......??????

They have little to none concept of living in society. They left Punjab to pursue a better life, but they want to live like are still in Punjab. \n\n- They scam their way in. Banks in India will lend them money to come to Canada, they buy their IELTS results. 99.9% of all the students I dealt with who got caught cheating on their exams were from India.\n\n- The people we are receiving in Canada are members of a separatist movement. They have often blocked roads to protest against India, because they want Punjab to be separated from India, and turned into a new country called Khalistan. I highly doubt they would all move there if that actually happened.\n\n- Going back to the entitlement: They often abuse the human rights nature of Canada. They are landing in Canada with no money, and buying houses right away, because they have a network of people forging financial documents, and the also have people infiltrated in banks to approve these processes. Now, even the buses are driven by Punjab people, is insane. And you can tell they are new comers, because some of them can barely speak English. The DEI department of my company approved a Punjab manager, and now more than half of the staff is Punjab. I am not A Canadian I’m an American, but I interact with lots of Canadians as they find themselves coming down here for one reason to the other and I’m not near the border either. I’m quite far into the US in a major US city.\n\nThere are two types of Canadians that distinct themselves. The first group is the ones that are themselves immigrants that are naturalized. I make this distinction because many cases they have not assimilated. They still have their own culture from another country and is pointed out by the narrator people from south Asia and Asia strongly have their culture And language \n\n( Canada is good for allowing people to live in communities to cut themselves off from the main screen. You have people who speak the Ukrainian language Going Back 4 generations)\n\nThen I’m gonna have to use a euphemism that might make peoples hair stand on the back of their neck. I’m gonna call them. The white Canadians has a euphemism. These are people who are going so far back from the British Isles for the most part and the French also speak another language who have no connection to Europe. The English-speaking Canadians who are you from white could walk down or come down to the US and fit right in in a matter of weeks if they’re not already assimilated into the US Culture ( I hope I don’t see any fireworks start coming from this comment) Many of these white Canadians are now more economically disadvantage than the newer Asian and south Asian immigrants and find themselves often times competing for resources with these newer immigrants. According to the news we broke 40 Million residents in Canada in the new year. They just announced that the Canadian population is already at 41 million as of last week. How can we absorb this many people. I would say the majority are from India. A lot of these new residents are amazing. But hear me out......For more than 70 years Canada has accepted diverse immigrants from around the world. These immigrants have always had challenges with acceptance and integration as they bought homes and had families and raised children to be Canadians. But these immigrants are economic migrants. They don't want to be Canadians like they used to. They want the PR, and the citizenship. But they want to work and move all that money out of Canada back to India. Then when they retire, they themselves will dump all their Canadian assets and move to India where cost of living and home ownership is exceedingly less expensive. Even their federal government pension plan money will move out of the country. I'll be totally truthful...MY perception of these economic migrants is that THEY HATE US. In India they are educated, come from Middle class and upper middleclass families. They want the PR and Citizenship so they can eventually pull their entire family from India over to Canada. But they have to Work at Burger king or Tim Hortons when they arrive. And the HATE and resent Canadians for it. \n Canada allows people to keep their foreign passports and citizenship. There are 300,000 people with Canadian citizenship living in Hong Kong, There are 450,000 people with Canadian citizenship living in Lebanon with a War about to expand across the border. This is such a propaganda-based video. You never made a video on Markham which has majority of Asian people living or any other city which has the majority of white people living or Milton where the majority Pakistani people live. Most people who migrate from India come as students who pay more than 30,000 CAD to Canadian government colleges for the same courses for which local Canadians pay less than 5000 CAD. Indian student migration is one of the strongest pillars on which the Canadian economy strongly relies without that how would the Canadian government pay for public housing of the very people who you just interviewed at the beginning of your video who has been living in Brampton for 15 years but never really worked and only rely on government to provide public housing and welfare.

I came from France back in 2015 whith my familly when Harper was still prime minister at the time , really I'd say things have been really great , my family and I have worked hard to get to where we are today and have always wanted to give back to our community here but I am disgusted to see in 2024 what Trudeau has done to the country and to see that immigration is no longer as prestigious as it used to be. Unlike some people we have today, I had to wait 3 years with my family before receiving approval to move to Canada (after so many exams, appointments and waiting times). I did my middle school here until college and I'm currently still looking for work in correctional and when I see that people arrive here afterwards without being permanent residents, who are literally flooding spots at colleges/university and also jobs that are normally open for young canadians in their 15-16 (When I was in high school, my first job was at a McDonald's, and without exception, everyone there was Canadian. Today, when I go back to the same McDonald's for a cheeseburger every now and then, the entire staff is nothing but Indians) .As a person with an immigrant background, I'm the first one to say that there's a very big problem in Canada, and that current immigration, mainly from India, is no longer for economic reasons but to reunite families.(They do not, and will never, assimilate into Canadian culture.)Now that I've grown up in Canada for almost half my life, I'm already thinking about either returning to France or start over somewhere else if nothing changes.\n\nThe Trudeau government, uncontrolled immigration, dangerous idelogies from extreme far left idea, rising unemployment, and economic misery getting worse every day , gradually pushes me away from the country I love, Oh Canada.

If you had a valuable skill or strong academic accolades you would not be kicked out, but because you don't, you are getting kicked out, which is more than fair when a country cannot house you without hurting its own population. I think it is government's fault for bringing people here, so we should point our anger correctly. Essentially, they are finding ways to exploit their entry into the country, unlike my parents who had to wait patiently for years to come to Canada. I belong to an ethnic group. In the 1960s, when my parents immigrated to Canada, only a limited number of people from our ethnic group were allowed in. My parents were compelled to assimilate into Canadian culture to make friends. I had hoped to marry someone from my own ethnic group, but there were few eligible women. Therefore, both my brothers and I married Anglo-Saxon women. While I take pride in my parents' background, I do not live in a segregated community of my own kind. Instead, I reside in a mixed area and have no intention of bringing over 100,000 people from my village back home to Canada. Canada needs to restrict immigration until we get a handle on our housing and social services levels. Also, not all new immigrants should be allowed to move to Toronto or Vancouver. They should be sent to live in provinces such as Saskatchewan or Manitoba for the first 10 years. I am sure they need skilled workers. Also, would be forced to assimilate like my family did back in the 1960s because there would not be a massive enclave from their own culture in one area. Also, the reason my parents moved to Canada was their former country was Balkanized into different ethnic groups that exploded into a massive civil war. Canada might be in danger of that in the future. Certain ethnic groups don't tolerate certain policies that have happened in Canada. When they get to a large enough number all hell will break lose as they will have to culture and political power to fight back.
