Jays comments are absolutely right. 90% of Indians are on fraudulent paper's they leave there country on visitors permit and the moment they get here they apply for refugees. Students just want to come to Canada, once they are here who cares about college or university. They just want to make money so they can send it back to India. This is how our government operates.

Alright. The median age in Canada is 41years. That means in 20 years, majority of the population would be close to retirement, which also means that if a younger population is not 'brought in' it would be disastrous for the economy. That being said, the government can limit the number for people immigrating from certain countries. If you need more Europeans, you need to create a social support net better than Europe. Why do they come to Canada, if not for the benefits? Why do these countries not set up their own Universities, where former international students go back home and teach their country and students what they learned here. It would be cheaper for them, and they can stay in their own country. But, they don't want to do that as they see Canada as the country of opportunities to bring their whole extended families here. We are already facing housing shortages, and don't need any of this type of opportunistic citizenships. They need to drastically cut the amount of foreign students allowed in. This year they are allowing 485,000 students. This does not take into account the students who are in high school or those studying for their master’s or doctoral degree's. In total it is 552,000. Then add on the Immigrants at 485,000, illegals or asylum claims( which is at record high numbers, could not find the figures for this year), then the migrant workers which are estimated between 700k to 900k. This is all too much. Drastic cuts need to be made, and this government that allowed all that to happen needs to be ousted out.

We need to learn from the US and put a cap on immigration per country. As per The US Immigration Act each country is allotted only 7% of new comers to the US each year. But here in Canada the sky is the limit for Indian immigrants, they make nearly 47% of all immigrants, if not higher.

4:54 That's just it. Canada allows a lot of immigration, because there are a lot of entry-level and service jobs that Canadians don't want, or are in a position that they don't have to take them. As I understand it, it all goes back to the province of Quebec. to get Quebec to join Canada, education was made a provincial thing, not a national thing. This means that there is no national education policy in Canada, unlike a lot of comparable nations. This means it is very difficult to plan, and educate the work force to fulfill anticipated needs. The solution? Put it on the list! Immigration Canada has a list of jobs that Canada needs to fill. If you would like to immigrate to Canada, and you have work history or education for something on the list, you're in! This is much easier that investing in Canadians and planning 5-10 years ahead. If we need more nurses...put it on the list! If we need more engineers...put it on the list! If we have too many already...take it off the list. A lot of immigrants are disappointed when they get here, because from the outside, Canada seems great. Yes, it is a very safe country, and has a lot going for it. But people may be surprised to find that they have been allowed into the country, to fill jobs no one else wants. And it's a lot of work to move here from another country, so immigrants tend to get stuck in a bad situation.

What Canada wants with this kind of immigration? The country can not grow? Who make this country? Need help from whom? Big backlash

Canadians are themselves immigrants in these lands. Europeans came in 18th century, took the lands from the natives and two hundred years after, they say, hey, immigrants from India have flooded “our” country, this is not Canada any more. Canada just like the US is a country of constant immigration and when immigrants from other countries arrive you should adapt to each other’s cultures and customs.

Other Asians like from the Philippines started as international students integrated well working in trade, healthcare (e.g., nurses, doctors, caregivers, PSW etc), banking and agriculture sectors. Canada for sure will immensely benefit from this kind of diversity in my opinion.
