I'm so embarrassed to be an American right now. Canada, you are a class act, and there are so many of us here in the USA that are truly sorry for the shameful behavior of our UNELECTED President Musk and his side-piece Trump.

Trump and his cronies are ONLY about enriching THEMSELVES and their friends and families. Not the working man and woman. Just the autocrats and oligarchs.

I thought that there were so many checks and balances on the president of the United States, but seeing his actions, I am very confused at how he is not being questioned for his mental stability and his actual ability to lead your country I mean to what degree is the definition of treason not applied I don’t understand how the president of the United States can now align himself with Russia and destroy allegiances with friends and allies This is not seen as treason?\nTo my American readers… just remember the United States knows no better friend than Canada….. so does any of this make sense? With those profits included, I'd bet Canada is the nation with the imbalance not in its favor...

As an American, I don’t watch CNN clips and believe what politicians say on either side to get my news. However, it’s absolutely true that EU, and China places tariffs on the US. It is also true that United States provide most of the security for all the free nations. At what point do we say enough? I do not know if Mexico or Canada has tariffs on US goods before this. But if they did, they have become quite entitled, haven’t they.

The U.S. has a massive economic advantage over Canada in any trade war—no debate. The U.S. economy is 10x bigger, and Canada relies on American trade way more than the other way around. The idea that they have 'leverage' is just political posturing. They can slap tariffs on select U.S. industries to try and cause some pain, but in the long run, they *will* lose. Their leaders just don’t want to look weak, so they act like they’re standing firm when in reality, they’ve already been pushed off the cliff. The U.S. can outlast them easily.

As a 60 years old french Canadian I have all the reason to not love Trudeau, because he remind me how his father treated us, never vote for him, but today I saw a men (finally) standing up and take the lead for our country. Yes Canada is still my country and I like the way he directly adress to your president.
