For some nations Canada turned into nightmare by spoof call attack. Many people died or killed. This kind of attack using impersonation by foreign country agents to target some people like me and many of my friends. Unfortunately most Asian and black and Latino people easily get fooled and used as a tool for attacker to target some people. Drug problem is another big issue in Canada and USA but fortunately gun violence is less than US. Healthcare getting worse everyday. Bad neighborhood experience which destroyed my health for life mostly because of spoof call attack. Bad policing which killed many innocent people. Woke laws and culture which marginalized men who are driving force of society. Very weird working experience. Work for yourself or get enslaved by another employer that's why people would love to work for government. Housing prices skyrocketing in big cities and there is no foreseeable future for its remedy. Cold weather for six month of year and at the end COVID force closure killed many of people and hospitalization was so bad. Anywhere there was no hospitalization people life were saved. There is no open market like many countries which are backed by government to buy goods in reasonable price for low income people. Very restricted laws for driver license. Life in Canada is far from normal kills you or make you disable for life without getting you paid. Now I disabled for couple of years and I'm outside of Canada and just my family saved my life because I couldn't work because of disability due to spoof call attack which cause severe peripheral neuropathy. Even there is no any protocol for this illness to get cured and forced me to see many MDs and cost me lots of money. Just stay away from Canada which is a nightmare and my sickness cost me not be able to protect my family and died because of that. Canada is a hell

Nowhere in the world has free drugs and safe injection site program worked. They have all failed and more drug users come from it. Even with failure stats from other countries, canada keep wanting to expand the program. But never in rich neighborhoods.

Lived and worked in Canada from 2002-2007, in Toronto from 2004-2007 as an immigrant. I have Canadian citizenship, passport... Returned from Canada to my country of birth in late 2007. Those 5 years in Canada were the worst 5 years of my life, even then, when I was there in Canada - it wasn't as bad as today - today it is much worse (there is now a homeless camp five hundred meters from the block where I lived, it wasn't there then). Here, where I am now, I do not have a permanent job and a stable income, however, I live much better, much easier, with less effort, and most importantly, much healthier and peacefully than in Canada. I never even thought about going back there. Despite the false propaganda (because the Canadian state makes a lot of money from immigration - in order to legally immigrate to Canada, I had to spend 2000-3000 for administrative costs and show $10,000 in cash when entering Canada, plus a $1200 plane ticket) that Canada is one of the best places to live, my experience is that it is one of the worst places to live (and I have lived in both Germany and Cyprus and in my native country which has been devastated by Western sanctions and NATO bombing. Never in the 16 years since I left Canada have I thinking of going back there. I'm sorry, my experience was extremely negative.

Liberals might be told what to do (influenced and bossed around) by the IMF, WEF, and UN “agendas” into taking all this very massive overload of the over amount of “unskilled Immigrants” being way, way too many in way too short of a time which should cut-off and stopped immediately. whatever you are saying that is correct but it is only one side bro, go and just ask international students what they have been promised here in Canada and how they are living here. Even most of the engineers, doctors and other professionals with foreign experience ended up doing general labor or uber driver jobs and even on the basis of their education and work experience they got permanent residency. No one likes to work on these hard jobs but they don't have any other option as most of skilled worker jobs either need their respective field license or Canadian experience. how much fees international student paying, what kind of job they are doing here, living far from family, managing studies and job, how much debt they took to study here and much more sacrifices doing here. Do not say then why came here because applied through legal process and full filled all the necessary criteria. Was it our fault that we dreamed about study and work here in Canada?. I know it is hard for you and your families that they are not getting jobs but don't hate international students. you can only understand anyone if you put yourself in their shoes.

It’s very sad and sick. What’s happening to people in Canada? It shouldn’t be happening they have to clean it up. I understand people fall in their lives but they gotta realize they need to not give up on life. That’s what happens now. With all the migrants they’re bringing in majority of them Are OK but they gotta bring in people that wanna work learn a trade and work for the lives. This should stop immigration for now. Our system can’t take any more of the stuff in the software for the Canadians that worked hard all their lives to deal with all this and stuff for themselves.

The problem with immigration is the quality of immigrants, this country still needs quality immigrants to fulfill top level positions, in the recent years Canada got flooded with too many international students for various college degrees, as i’ve heard there are some colleges in Toronto which only has one classroom in a building but they have so many students enrolled ? and bringing in more refugees makes the housing and job situation even worse. On the other hand government had to remove the 20hour work cap of international students to run this economy ?

All private colleges need to be closed and foreign student work permits need to be removed. A foreign student should be able to come to canada pay for school and when they are done should get a PR card and work in what ever field they studied in.

Most international students who come to Canada are more educated than most average Canadians. So don’t say they’re low skilled immigrants. Canada just doesn’t have enough technical jobs for them. They’re forced to work for such minimum wage jobs.

We have a job shortage, not a labour shortage. In addition to the international students, the liberals created many special immigration pathways, one of which issues to almost everyone in Hong Kong a 3year work permit followed by a PR giveaway. These Hong Kong people are highly educated and skilled, but some of them I met said it is very difficult to find a job in Canada now. They have to accept a junior position with 6 years of experience or even work a survival job. The reasons that keep them here are cheaper house price and can stay away from China and they are gladly being lowballed. Helping people is a good thing but I feel that our young people are being sold, I've heard from many of them who cannot find a job recently.

It's a double edged sword. The industry (fast food, food retailing, services) WANT those people, be it international students, refugees or other to work because there is insufficient response from the local population of young people. Even certain restaurants and hotels had to remain CLOSED after the pandemic, because they could not find enough people to work. The government covid money dissuaded the local population from working. It is a huge mistake to admit so many Indian students attending low-credentialed private colleges and then allow them to work 20-30 hours a week. Trudeau and Miller are to blame for this. But at the same time, there was a labour shortage due to the ageging population and the fact that people have fewer kids today. Canada should give greater priority to trained professionals in areas where there is a need, such as construction, education and nursing. People in India, China, eastern Europe and other countries can get very good training in technical colleges, but it is the wealthy families in these countries that don't want their kids working these jobs.

I welcome, as a born Canadian, immigration. My opion is that you stay. Permanently. Dont come to Canada, work then leave. If you don't want to live here, don't come.

They should bring skilled Inmigrants with a career path to ensure they not ended up taking advantage of EI and welfare as many do . Fed up of lazy people coming to Canada to abuse the system . As an immigrant myself who came 12 years ago I had to work 2 jobs and study at night French to be able to adapt. When I came I already had a university degree and then did my masters degree here in Canada . At the end it pay off I had a good job now. The main requirement for people coming to Canada should be an university degree at least as in the past . That shows you are able to learn and adapt to new things plus you have knowledge about a specific field .

Immigrants are paying huge amounts of money to come work in Canada, and businesses are being subsidized by the govt to hire them. This is an all out attack on Canadian citizens who are being overlooked and thrown to the wayside in the name of inclusivity and diversity.

Canada does not have a shortage of people for labour; Canada has a shortage of educated people who can perform. Our education systems are an abject failure that have produced a generation of citizens who are not prepared to work. Our students understand their LGBTQs but can barely comprehend ABC123s or what a T4 is, much less write them down. Our shortages are knowledge and skill, not population.

I'm all for bringing in the 'skills & talent' with new immigrants. But these new Canadians must fit the criteria that Canada needs and they must come in through the legal system, be properly vetted and willing to abide by the laws of the land. Instead, what Trudeau is bringing in through open borders are freeloaders, people who take advantage of the welfare system and refuse to work. And many of them have long criminal histories. Some even insist on bringing their quarrels with them along with the hatred they harbour for other groups of people. Then they proceed to protest in the streets about what is going on in the countries they left and worse, they harass others on college campuses and elsewhere because they don't like their race, culture or ethnicity. We see it everywhere. And if we Canadians complain about it, we're called every name in the book. Not fair to Canadians. Not fair to those who are waiting in line to come in legally.

So brutal. I have a 15 year old looking for her first job and all her friends ate too. Guess what.....all those jobs we used to get as we entered the workforce are gone. Every single DQ A&W grocery store McDs etc jobs go to foreigners. So where will all the high school kids work? They are becoming despondent and depressed. It's really sad. For the kids born here and the kids that got told bs there would be plenty of jobs. It's just wrong!!!? I'm highly concerned for the kids. Canada is sliding into a toilet. It also appears that you are at the back of the list if you are born here and God forbid too white. So what is the deal with all these Walmart's etc hiring only foreign people ? It's not to give the kids of Canada a start and a chance. I have a relative in Ontario Canada working at a Food Basics. He told me that so many Indians that are international students are applying there every single day. And he has seen large stacks of resumes that is two feet high in the main office where he works. These international students believe that they can make a living from low skilled jobs and make ends meet in Canada. Hardly any of these international students will actually graduate from their respective Universities or colleges because they would rather work and take work from Canadians who are actually willing to apply and work at these jobs.\nThe Food Basics that my relative works at has a bit over 40 employees. 30 of them are Indian and the rest are local Canadians. And just you know a lot of these Indian workers that work there are low skilled, can't speak English, can't communicate right with the customers and their fellow workers, and have a sense of entitlement.

Trudeau has advertised in every small town in India that you can come on Student visa and work unlimited hrs. This is supported by Real estate board of Canada. That is what these students are doing as designed

Only Shortage is in health care and the Shortage in health care systems is not going to be fixed anytime soon. The family doctor shortage isn't going to be fixed. Because the government isn't paying the doctors enough and forcing them to do stuff. The vaccine mandate caused a lots of doctors and nurses to leave Canada to US. And the family doctors are getting payed around 40$ per patient and they have to cover their expenses and cost of running their clinics with that. Alsobthey have to fill up a lot of paper work. They are not getting paid enough to continue this. The system is a failure in Canada

I am shocked to learn that people coming on Tourist visa (from developing countries) to Canada can apply for Job here and once hired can change visa status while in Canada. Never have I ever heard about this while staying in UK on work permit for 4 years that UKBA /Home Office has ever approved such low quality visa that Trudeau is flexible about. Neither Harper's/Kenney's administration (under which I immigrated to Canada back in 2014) has ever approved such cockamamie change of visa status.
