I have so much to say. I'm afraid of sounding racist. I dont like it. Dealing with this right now! There has been an influx in my town. Now there isnt housing left when we were fine before. My children are being slighted when they could be celebrating their 1st apartment. My interaction has been poor with a few of these people. Impossible to communicate. Very awkward having an 8 yo translate. Many want to move into nice neighborhoods but never follow the city code enforcement or rules. Then hide behind don't speak English! You mix up family doctors with clinics. You may have to wait for a family doctor, but you make it sound like there is no medical help available. In these cases --- go to a clinic. Little knowledge is a bad thing when trying to attack a health system that is admired all over the world. Very sorry your experience in Canada was not what you hoped for or expected. First off Canada is not a systemically racist country I’m white I’m also poor and I’ve lived here all my life nearly everyone excluding the native population in a immigrant or a descendant of a immigrant my mom is Portuguese and I also have black family members we are no more racist than anyone else in any other country. Every country has a few homeless people and that number has grown immensely due to poor Liberal government policy when I was young there were maybe one or 2 homeless people in my home town and they were severely mentally Ill homelessness has greatly increased since pm Justin Trudeau has been in power and that’s something I can say I have observed first hand living here in Ontario Canada for 30 years - my entire life. Canadian tax payers don’t want to pay for drug addicts to get more drugs the Liberal Canadian government have set up “safe injection sites” and “ methadone clinics” that basically give these addicts more drugs that are payed for with our tax dollars again these clinics and safe injection sites didn’t exist when I was a kid and since then the number home homelessness has increased as well as the number in population addicted to drugs. 8:03 I was honestly thinking the same thing because most first world countries have good tap water and my experience with the States is that in our tour group, we were told that 1) tap water was bad and 2) buying water is expensive. Even in a hotel, the water in the bathroom was so murky I really thought there was something wrong with my eyes. Sure not all hotels/places are like that, but not having access to such a simple necessity in a first world country sounds kinda crazy to me.

I grew up in the Bay Area, CA, and I moved away 12 years ago to NC. Best decision ever. I miss the west coast because the views are world class (the drive up and down highway 1 is just breathtaking), but I can afford multiple homes where I am, and I'm not rural. Just live in a suburb right outside of a major city. I can afford to raise a family, send kids to private school. I can afford vacations....I can afford to live! It's also why I am not liberal anymore. After moving from a Democrat controlled area to a mostly Republican controlled area, I converted. Lower taxes, better cost of living, and less crime...It just makes sense. I'm also hispanic, and let me tell you, I appreciate the racism here! I know that sounds odd, but for one, there really isn't that much racism to deal with, but when it confronts you, you know it! It's not hiding behind some fake woke smile, it's blatant and obvious, and I'm good with that because I can just navigate around it vs constantly second guessing.
