As a Brazilian immigrant I can say that it is hard to come to a different country leaving everything behind. However, you have to adapt to Canada not Canada to you. that is where most immigrants, specially Indians, fail to do.

Lived here for 14 years, i am born canadian. but left to europe for 10 or so years and then parents took me back to canada for my brothers university, i'm leaving the country as well. Canada went downhill fast as trudeau is Leader.

As a Canadian, I do not find myself or my neighbours resenting immigrants but rather the lack of social planning (housing in particular) that is behind part of this immigration policy. I grew up in the USA; now have spent many years in Victoria, BC, Canada. Victoria is very very safe and peaceful but it is expensive and not a lot of economic opportunity compared to USA. No urge to leave Victoria, I don’t plan on leaving unless I want a super cheap retirement say in Terre Haute, Indiana. I have dual citizenship which is nice.

I agree with you 100%. Excuse, Canadian experience is a farce. IT or Engineering or even Medicine is the same everywhere. Yes, standards may be bit different. What Canada does is trying to maintain its pension system and economy by attracting you and skilled immigrants.

Canada is in crisis due to immigrants so I don’t understand why you keep coming. Of course Canadian people will not welcome you, our kids can’t get jobs because all jobs are filled with Indian students who agree to work for less ruing our work system. We have Indian people crapping on our beaches because they don’t know how to use a bathroom. Complete different mindset and culture. The only people to blame for this is the immigration dept. If they had proper rules in place then only proper educated and decent people would've come there instead of many people with criminal or rowdy background who even falsify there IELTS score. As someone said in comments that most of the people in Canada especially Brampton are from small villages in Punjab who have barely seen n lived in big cities in India itself. And it's true everyone in India knows that Brampton is mini Punjab, Punjab with cold weather. I have many friends who have gone to Canada and some of them were living in Brampton also for some time, but everyone left, they all say that Brampton is just a rowdy place and does not seem like you are in a developed country coz of the ruckus the Punjabi people make their and most of the educated people going from India to Canada wants to avoid Brampton.

But those moving to these aforementioned countries shouldn't be castigated and termed desperados. \n\nPeople migrate for different reasons, many in these countries especially in the gulf are there to build capacity so as to make moving to America, UK and Australia and other better European countries more affordable and assured and do so with a softer landing and so far it has worked and working out well for so many... As you know moving to America and Canada has not always been easy and affordable as it is with some of these countries and in reality the quality and cost of life and healthcare in many of these countries are not as bad as those in the west assumes. \n\n\nSo if you're in America, Canada or the better others, you shouldn't see others moving here as short sighted or desperate.,. quebec is not the best province unless you only speak french. it used to be, about 50 years ago. but they heve destroyed the english community and along with it, the province with their draconian language laws. i have been descriminated against, by the police, government agencies, some store workers and french citizens (who tell me to go back where i came from) here in quebec. montreal used to be canadas largest and best city but now it has fallen to 2nd place and rapidly approaching 3rd. toronto has surpassed it, vancouver is quickly catching up, and calgary, edmonton, halifax are all growing but montreal has stagnated. i know, ive lived here all my life. there is nobody left who i grew up with. friends and family have all moved on to better places. and none of them regret it. i have been to vancouver, calgary, new brunsdwick, nova scotia and P.E.I., and i believe all of them are better than living in quebec. there is a reason why rents are cheaper in montreal, but it is catching up to the rest of the country. and there is a large homeless community. i would put quebec at 8th or 9th. and B.C. number 1 with P.E.I. 2nd.

I’ve never voted federally because I didn’t believe in any of the candidates of political parties. (I usually just vote provincial). But this will be my first federal election because I am so tired of him. Even his own wife is tired of him. Canada wants to divorce Trudeau.
