I feel bad for many of the India people coming to Canada.\n \nThere is no clear solution if the governments don't start controlling the numbers of foreign students to be enrolled and same with the schools for hurting not just the people of the cities their in but also their own staff tend to struggle because of the lack of housing.\n\nIn my line of work, almost every single one of them should not have been on the phone for technical support, not because of a lack of education but a lack of speaking English clearly. Some of them or should I say a lot of them were promoted to supervisors. That made my father extremely upset when first he would not understand the tech rep and then to have a supervisor with the same challenge was horrendous.

There comes a time when you go home. Canada can’t take in the world. Yes, you are welcome but this is not home. You have your own country.

I'm a Canadian born senior, and the MASSIVE flooding of Canada with immigrants (mostly from India) is DESTROYING this country. As a senior I have been priced out of the rental market due to intense competition for housing with these newcomers. It has driven up inflation where many folks can't afford groceries. Do NOT come to Canada. We need to stop all immigration for several years until our infrastructure has caught up. Then resume at reasonable levels.

Same situation here in greater Vancouver. Surrey, Delta, Abbotsford, and other places completely overrun by south Asian immigrants. Mass immigration fraud (international students, temporary foreign workers, asylum seekers, family reunification, etc) has ruined this part of Canada.

First the government said she doesn't have enough money .and she apply again this time they said if she to school here after finish she not come back to Vietnam .what hell ? Think twice if you want to move to Canada for better life without job. This is not a country for many professionals. They will use same excuses used back to 20 years ago to reject you: no local work experience, no Canadian degree, etc. The truth is no opportunity. They just want you come to spend money for paying higher rent, living expenses to make economy grow. Their middle class population is dying everyday. Most of them are coming to get hold of work permit, float fake resumes in IT field, displace high paying Canadian jobs. All the students who are already in Canada should have the option to be eligible for a PR, they (the Indian students) went there for a better life, they have their entire existence dependent on the fact of becoming a Canadian citizen eventually. Deporting them would be a loss for India as well as Canada, as many of them will end up with depression and feeling of failure. \n\nThe Canadian government must allow these student who are already in the country to apply for citizenship and make citizenship and PR rules stricter going forward. From what I know, Sikhs are upstanding and outstanding community and great addition to any society, Canada will be much better off having them, than leaving them in a bad state by deporting them.

I love Cape Breton. Canada is a big country. Our family immigrated to Halifax and then lived in Lake Simcoe area, then Kirkland Lake, Ontario, then lived in three or four homes in Edmonton. But the population of Alberta has tripled since I lived there and the population of Canada has doubled. Cities are mostly the same in the U.S. or Canada. I've lived in Philadelphia and Boston and on the coast of Maine. Maine and Nova Scotia share much in common. Cities are the problem: over-crowded, expensive, lacking decent employment, crime infested, etc but this is true in most of the cities of the world, whether in India or U.S. or Canada. Don't blame the country for city problems;.
