your argument is false. US has one of the most efficient health care systems in the world. The problem is that it's a for profit system which denies access to approx to 40% of its citizens and it's cost prohibitive to many. In Canada, our health system is not efficient but it is affordable and universally available to all citizens. Most developed countries except US adopt similar universal models and it works.

I noticed that Canadians cross the border into Michigan and drive really fast. Then I visited Canada and saw how expensive gasoline was. Now I get it. They fill up the tank for cheap and drive like no tomorrow. I would probably do the same if situations were reversed.

As a Canadian, I do not find myself or my neighbours resenting immigrants but rather the lack of social planning (housing in particular) that is behind part of this immigration policy. Several new immigrants are leaving Canada within 5 years, finding it too expensive and hard to get ahead, estimates range up to 30%. Of course Canadian people will not welcome you, our kids can’t get jobs because all jobs are filled with Indian students who agree to work for less ruing our work system. quebec is not the best province unless you only speak french. it used to be, about 50 years ago. but they heve destroyed the english community and along with it, the province with their draconian language laws. i have been descriminated against, by the police, government agencies, some store workers and french citizens (who tell me to go back where i came from) here in quebec. montreal used to be canadas largest and best city but now it has fallen to 2nd place and rapidly approaching 3rd. toronto has surpassed it, vancouver is quickly catching up, and calgary, edmonton, halifax are all growing but montreal has stagnated. i know, ive lived here all my life. there is nobody left who i grew up with. friends and family have all moved on to better places. and none of them regret it. i have been to vancouver, calgary, new brunsdwick, nova scotia and P.E.I., and i believe all of them are better than living in quebec. there is a reason why rents are cheaper in montreal, but it is catching up to the rest of the country. and there is a large homeless community. i would put quebec at 8th or 9th. and B.C. number 1 with P.E.I. 2nd.

After living in Brampton now for like 3 years, you can feel the change.
