I got my first job at 14. Thats probably impossible today for teens now competing with others arriving from abroad. We created a problem we didn’t need. I don’t think “it’s who we are.” Canada and every other country historically bring in immigrants in so far as how they fill a need for a certain skill. Today it’s just a matter of poor management.

Canada needs more people but they need to be spread across and not concentrate in the major cities. This is the situation everywhere and especially concerning the macro-economic factors leading to rising cost of living.

The thing is most of the people I know looking to leave or are bothered the most by the massive amount of immigrants or “students” are 1st generation Canadians with Indian or Asian parents. I really don’t think this is even a racial issue, it’s the fact Canada has these bogus colleges that accept basically unlimited amounts of foreign students, it’s pretty obvious they’re not here solely to study but to stay.

If housing, jobs, healthcare, and education are not adequately addressed, people can become hopeless and susceptible to manipulation by far right extremist groups. Canada is such a large country its funny/crazy to think how the housing prices have went up so much. At least for starters build more affordable housing, or have designed safe areas to pitch a tent/shelter with water/electricity. I worried about the future whether I will have a roof over my head.

In Bulgaria there are companies who will train you ans house you. 90 percent of people own their homes and do not rent. We have great food, climate, tourism in nearby Greece and Turkey is amazing. Migrating to Canada is not the greatest. Why? To pay for a house until I die?
