I have lived in many different countries as a Muslim. I have found the perfect balance of Islam, freedom in my day to day life to do things, finding halal, masjids 10-15mins within where I live with programs for my kids and social/educational events. I homeschool my kids and the laws for it are very easy. I absolutely abhor the government though and your no. 1 reason would be mine to leave. However as I explore other options I don’t see options for Muslim country that is easy to naturalize into. \n\nI have joined groups to make future changes through congress and government and trying to learn how I can help with these efforts. I try to imagine what would happen if all the Muslims left these colonizing countries. Boy do they need us yet make us feel like we are powerless. I try to imagine well what if we unified more and kept working for change? While being able to live and practice e Islam how we want. Anyways. Just mumbling some of my own thoughts. Nobody's leaving the country they take off for 6 months come back for their free healthcare and check-ups take their CPP in old age pension go back to their Homeland and then when there's a crisis they need us to come in and rescue them because they call themselves Canadian citizens give your head a shake this has been going on for years

I am indonesian, but i’ve lived in Japan and the US for study purpose, and i relate to your experience. Eventhough i had a strong moslem community when i was in Japan/US, and halal food was accessible there, i was still feeling uncomfortable that as a moslem i couldn’t express my identity freely. Whenever i wanted to go for a roadtrip or place outside of my city, i need to search if halal food was available in there or not, while in Indonesia i don’t have to worry about halal food, almost all food are halal, the restaurant usually inform us if their are not halal. Another experience is that in non-moslem country, they didn’t provide many prayer rooms or mosques, that’s also sickening for me. I mean i don’t mind to pray in a random parking lot, or in a park, or in an emergency stairs, or in changing room in mall, or any random places; but i really missed my country where prayer room is available anywhere, you can find prayer room in gas station, in a restaurant, in the mall, in airport/bus station/train station, etc. Also mosques are everywhere too. You are easily going to find mosque after walking around 200m, well yeah there is a reason why Indonesia is a country with the most number of mosques in the world. Another thing is islamic class. When i was in Japan, i could only join an islamic class where people gather to listen from syeikh (or we call it as “pengajian”) once in every other months, in the US was better, mosque in mu place held islamic class every other day. However, in Indonesia, islamic classes are everywhere, it’s like every mosque held their own class, until to the point that i am confused what should i follow because there are so many options ?. The last is that, in moslem country or at least in my country, finding moslems outfit is very easy. So yeah, overall, i prefer to live in moslem countries. Alhamdulillah i was born in moslem country, and alhamdulillah my country’s situasion, eventho not perfect, is peacefull.

Rising cost of living is a trend especially when inflation is high in North America, the government should be more proactive in increasing the housing supply and creating affordable housing. Canada immigration system is skill based but the country also needs blue collar workers to fill jobs needed in the economy. I read too many articles where doctors work in factories there. The last is job growth, the government needs to invest in infrastructure and create environment for business to come to the country. Yes, US has the same problems but the salaries are higher south of the border. The average Facebook employee receives 800K compensation yearly.

Public safety should never be compromised. Canada and the US are on the wrong track and both these countries need to punched pretty bad so that they learn a lesson. Both these countries have decriminalized crimial behavior and habits. Drug use and drug trade is very prolific in bth these countries and violent crimminals are operating with impunity. Of course, we didn;t get here in one day and it is the majority of voters who are respoinsible for this situation in both these countries. And what is worse is these 2 countries are the worst hypocrcites and ultimately the people are responsible for electing wrong people and making the wrong choices, Immigrants need to do their homework instead of blaming Canada and others for their plight if their life is hell in canada.

Sadly city is declining. This is mainly due though to the poor federal government that wants to destroy Canadian society in its quest to stay in power. No thoughts on how to sustainably grow a country foster growth and development of the economy. Providing needed housing development and health care to match population growth. The chasing of woke attitudes obstructing the development of resource industries that could provide much economic wealth has led to destruction of our once great country and making us an international joke. We have turned our backs on once good allies as we now support many terrorist states and organizations. So sad to see the decline of what was one of the best nations on earth.

I am asking u come settle here cause our youth need motivation they are too exausted that Pakistan could ever get prosperous …. If u settle here it will be a motivating factor against the trend like educated youth going abroad and brain drain is at highest ….. you may help Pakistani youth in dreaming that Pakistan is also a place that may be lived in based upon if we work hard and donot give up ….And remain honest as ALLAH PAK sees and takes care of things better than us

As someone from the US, here’s what I will say- you can find a small community or a community within a large city that will fit your needs if you look hard enough. HOWEVER, outside of that community, our larger government will never be the right fit for you, for the same reason you’ve “outgrown”Canada. “We” rarely invest in our own country and citizens, and always have “our” hands and money in other country’s affairs where they don’t belong and aren’t welcome. The government is unbelievably corrupt, out of touch, and is more focused on getting one side to hate the other side than actually making “no-brainer” steps that we all agree on to make things better for everyone. If you’re looking for a place to land for a little while I’d say a place with a Muslim community is fine, but long term your money won’t be going to places that aligns with your morals and values.

If the US would stop giving away benefits, and supporting them they will stop coming, and you won't need a wall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was born in the UK but went to Canada as a young child with my emigrating parents in the early 1950’s. Later we emigrated to the US in 1963. I know I would not enjoy the cold winters of Canada at all anymore if I lived there. I lived in FL for 20 years which I enjoyed except for the hurricanes and rapidly increasing home insurance. I live in North Carolina now where the winter is very manageable. I hope you are able to find a place that meets most of the needs you want to find in a different environment. I am very sorry for what is happening in Gaza and like you I believe it is a terrible Genocide by the Israelis. I am not Muslim and do not belong to any organized religion. I just try to live my life in kindness and with love for others. I love nature, animals and our beautiful earth. I respect your decision but not necessarily I agree with your all reasons you gave.\nI am also first generation emigrant, my children born and raised in Canada.\nMe and my wife faced very harsh situation despite we both are well educated and skilled from our country of birth, and had very good life back home. We did nit came here for job or money. I think the biggest reason that worries us all parents is the forced indoctrination of kids... and the filthy knife of this disgusting cancel culture has even cut the tongues of the scientific community. As for recommendations of where to relocate also consider Suranime where 14% of the population is Muslim. Since I've lived in Islamic lands the world has changed so much that xenophobia against even other Muslims in countries that used to be so welcoming to the stranger but for a variety of reason is also factor you MUST consider. God is good and will guide you.

I am a convert of two years and have found myself flourishing as a Muslim here since I joined. There will be struggles and adjustments, no cap, but I love this community with my very soul. Shakyh Al-Ninowy has a campus in Canada but Atlanta is the headquarters. In my hometown, halal businesses and Muslim environments have grown. And there are programs here that can prove very beneficial for your children Insha'Allah. And if you need someone to introduce you, myself and the Madina family will welcome you with open arms Insha'Allah. And if not Atlanta, Madina has other campuses in the US (Milwaukee & Little Rock). We also have campuses in South Africa, Malaysia, India, UK, and Norway.

Being an Indian living in Canada for over 22 years and working in healthcare system, I would highly recommend to check your vitamin levels (especially vitamin D, B12 if vegetarians) and general health regularly (it applies to those living in US and European countries). A known phenomenon that occurs especially during darker colder months is Seasonal effective disorder (SAD) and needs to be dealt with before it turns in depression. \n \nLife is hard l, no matter where you live but if you decide to move to foreign countries…just be prepared to face difficulties and adjust your expectations accordingly.

It's much better here in Australia. I live in a little country town 500km from Melbourne, great hospital, free medical care, bought 3 nice houses here from selling an apartment in Melbourne - and unlike Canada or the US, we dont need to pay any tips or any of those pesky extra taxes you always add onto everything !

As a Canadian I feel we all need to stay and fight for our Country. And by that, I mean educating those around us as to why we should vote against certain political views ie: communism/marxism and socialism, as we see being practiced by the Liberals and ndp. Vote for those who respect Canada's Traditions and Values and our National Identity. None of us want to live in a Post-National State, as Trudeau promised when he was elected!! As someone in his late twenties living in Quebec, I got to say this is very accurate. I won't say things are as bad as some other people are saying in the comments, but I do feel like the country is going downhill. For me, these are the main three things that feels wrong:\n\n1. We, as citizen, tend to offload every responsibility to the governments. Each election, they promise to handle more, but fail times and times again to deliver on their existing responsibilities. But we still vote for them, because we fear personal responsibilities. They created these immovable bureaucratic monsters and they lost control. They promise new shiny things instead of fixing what is already in place.\n2. We lost all notion of what is necessary. People gets more and more entitled which leads to overconsumption and frustation. Quebecers used to be proud peoples who survived with the little they had. Now greed has consumed our identity and nothing is holder us together.\n3. I feel that jobs are less and less useful to the society. Even I, as an electronic/software engineer, wonder if my job as meaning. I feel we lost touch with the concrete world. Some people have 0 contribution to anything useful and have really good salary and work conditions, while others bust their ass in shitty conditions. I feel like everything that we need is produced/done by a frighteningly small amount of individuals.\n\nBut from what I heard Canada isn't the only country to feel these. Living in the US is better than Canada until you get really sick, then you need to mortgage your house 3 times just to keep yourself alive. There are problem with every country when you only compare them to the best countries in their respective fields. The past 3 years have been very difficult for all countries.

WHERE are municipal politicians supposedly limiting the construction of homes? I don’t see it. \n\nWe are aware that there are regulations in place to protect buyers and that self-serving industries lobby to do away with, as those protective regulations can reduce profits. Some provincial governments (like Alberta) are highly sympathetic to lobbies and industries, to the detriment of citizens. \nWhy are you not pointing to the fact that successive federal governments of the past stopped funding the construction of lower cost housing (thereby creating more demand AND our number one problem of unmitigated greed throughout the real estate and home building industries? We have some people in government attempting to get more low cost homes built while industries know that they can make more money building houses that are far, far bigger than people NEED. Dumbasses and keep-up-the-Jones folks unwisely buy these homes and then many of them have difficulty affording a lifestyle that they think they are entitled to. Meanwhile, lower income earners have been priced right out the market. Of course, capitalists and real estate investors like Pierre Poilievre will never admit that these are our actual problems. Regulating the construction and real estate industries could have gotten a lot more homes built in higher density for young and lower income Canadians, as well as for our newcomers. \n\nToo much blind and poorly informed anger, selfishness, and foolishness going around. Canadians of the past who pulled together during world wars would call us weak and entitled.

I live in Minnesota, also a liberal, democrat stronghold, unfortunately. We need people to wake up. If they did, you wouldn’t have Trudeau and we wouldn’t have Biden. God save us.
