Thank you for sharing your story. There are so many Canadians who share your views and who are equally upset about the state of affairs in Canada, including me and my husband. We have recently started contemplating moving to Serbia (my home country). Compared to Canada, Serbia has very affordable housing, and a much better healthcare system. Moreover, the majority of the population also speaks English and for someone coming from an an English speaking country like Canada, this is a huge bonus. Good luck on your journey and you have made the right decision to move.

Why should this country you're fleeing to take you in? Instead of fleeing Canada, why don't you fight for it? Did you vote for the Liberals that are screwing up Canada? Are you just going to do the same in your next host country? Have you ever looked in the mirror? Maybe you're the problem you're fleeing from. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Canada, like the rest of the world, needs to repent. Then they might get the wisdom back to govern properly. It's good that you see the problems of Canada, but you should pay your dues and fight instead of just complaining and fleeing. And if you do leave, maybe put a little more effort into your next host country and not just flee when the going gets tough.

The wealthy won't stop until they have everything! The US and Canada suffers from this because of EXTREME Capitalism! Your tax money goes to subsides for large corporations and not the people. This needs balance to improve the social contract. The rich buy everything up and charge the masses whatever they please, not what the market will bear! People go into huge debt just trying to live! (and they make more money from that!) And then they lobby to pay the least amount of tax when the common people pay more! I've been to Canada several times as a tourist, visiting the country's biggest cities and always finding it a great vacation destination. But the last few times I've been there I've noticed the decline, especially in the bigger cities. Last year I was in Toronto and had to look down to avoid stepping in human feces and to the sides to avoid being attacked by some drug addict going crazy.

Progressive liberalism destroys every city and nation. There is only one way out of this mess, but Canada will not succeed because too many people still believe what they see on television instead of what is actually happening.

The West overall is going through same:\n - Very expensive housing in major cities.\n - Expensive groceries.\n - Declining population.\n - Shortage of workforce.\n - Faltering healthcare, long wait times.\n\nThis is pretty much the story from Canada, US, UK or anywhere in Europe especially in Germany, Netherlands. All is not gloom and doom though, certain trends might slow down and some might reverse because things can't stay the same forever and something has to give.

In the 80s and 90s Canada received thousands of immigrants who believed they were living the Canadian dream and obtaining nationality was a great honor, what happened to Canada to get to this point, every year I see dozens of farmers selling their land and emigrating to Brazil, and prospering in soybean plantations and raising cattle, when I ask a Canadian farmer why he came to Brazil, I only see a tear drop and answer Canada is in the past and he needs to guarantee the future of his family.

I'm from Texas. As a young fool I married a Canadian woman in 79. I'm a military man, army strong. So, many deployments all over the world. Oh, wife was also military, Canadian military. Our time together was limited. She left the military in 1990, got sick with cancer in 93, died in 93. I moved to Canada then, to be with the kids. Kids grew up, and I moved away. I recently returned to Canada after roughly 30 years away. I'm also leaving. I can't stand this place. And I've learned that the insanity in Canada is worldwide. I don't recognize the UK, Italy, Poland, Germany. Everything has changed. Right now I'm in Texas panhandle, on the ranch my father and his father ran. Thousands of acres, horses and cattle and dogs. I almost never see the neighbors. I love it.

It breaks my heart. I love Canada, and corruption and poor policies have destroyed the future for at least a generation here. There's no identity, unity, or hope for a better life here.

From international student to exploded employee? What’s their true intentions coming to Canada?

Every place in the world is seeing a rise of costs for everything. I wouldn't trade my life in Canada for any other place. Everything I like in life is here.I am 72 now. I never have a problem seeing a doctor. I call up and sometime get an appointment the next day. I had a cardiac arrest, was brought back to life and had triple bypass surgery several days later and it cost me about $15 for an ambulance ride from one hospital to another, where the surgery was done. I don't wish to move anywhere where all the sports I can watch or play is soccer or cricket. Weather does not bother me.

If we leave, we leave it to India and China. Not happening. I’m born and raised here, and staying to help Canada. Good luck on your journey

Canada is no longer great. As a third generation Canadian, I was always so proud of my citizenship and thought I was lucky to have been born in the best country in the world. Well, I no longer feel that way. This country is turning into a third world shithole. I want to leave sooo bad but where would I go? I'm 59 but If I were younger I would leave. Can't wait to hear where you will move to.

Canada is so spread out that it is difficult to get anywhere without having a car . The airlines are all fleeing service to the small cities. That is a big problem for people who want to travel internationally. I remember when I lived in Quesnel BC in the 1970’s , there was a PWA Boeing 737 - 200 with daily service to Vancouver. Now there is no longer any flights to Vancouver from Quesnel . Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal are the only options for international travellers.

Take Me. I have also lived and loved Canada for many years but feel like there could be a much better quality of life to be lived elsewhere. I have visited 22 countries hunting for the right one but will travel to South East Asia (Philippines, Thailand) for the first time this winter before making any real decisions. My family goes back so many generations in Canada. I left for 15 years and was forced back during Covid. I am thinking omg ..what has happened to my country. .? I hear what you’re saying and I feel it too. I am sure I will leave again soon and hopefully for good …such a sad thing for me to say but it’s the truth .

Another promotional video about Canada while any informed person knows that Canada is a terrible socialist country. Then any goes on for 20 minutes building up where she's moving to ( never reveals it ) but admits if this secret place doesn't work out she'll run back home. Canada's peace, safety, security, and economy are being negatively impacted by some individuals who come to Canada on student visas, particularly those from India. These individuals are allegedly committing various crimes such as carjacking, theft, and other offenses to support themselves financially while living in Canada and sending remittances to their families in India. Unfortunately, their actions do not contribute positively to Canadian society or the economy; instead, they place a significant financial burden on the economy and create unrest in the community.The Canadian government must put a 5-10 year ban on Indian student and deport all those who are involve in illigal activities or does not have financial funding from their home country to study and live in Canada.
