My situation is similar, but I live in the US. My home state CA has major cities like San Francisco with tents all over the place. Crime has gotten out of control in places like Oakland where the police likely won't help you in time. I did the hustle and bustle in Southern CA, built my wealth, and left the big city. I'm looking at leaving the US for a while to live overseas, travel, and have fun while I'm still young. Good luck to you.

I think that what you are describing is the case in most western traditionally European countries. I also think that is on purpose. I live in the US and have my entire life, I'm in my 50's (let's just leave that there!). the same can be said for many places in this country. I've lived in newengland my whole life. it used to be considered the benchmark when I was growing up in the 70's and 80's , as far as cost of living , cost to buy a home , wages and job opportunities , quality of life, safety. its not the case now. I did recently move to extreme northern new England this year as southern New England where I grew up and my family is , too crowed, too expensive etc. I am within 1-5 miles of Canadian border where I am now, but still in US! I do have a current passport, just renewed it and plan to visit NB and Quebec City and hopefully PEI . I do live in a very rural area with low population currently. farming and timber are main industries here. not a lot going on, but at my age I really enjoy it. reminds me of how things used to be when I was growing up 40 years ago! people and even young people are polite and decent here, no traffic. its a bubble, but we are 500 miles from the chaos to the south. I pray a lot nowadays! thx for sharing , I followed your videos years ago, I am glad you've done well for yourself and you've turned into a beautiful woman and a decent person! my daughters are half Ukrainian from their mother and Polish/English from myself. one thing about northern maine is that there is no fresh kielbasa , pierogie or kapusta up here! My family immigrated here in the 1950s out of war torn Europe for a better life. Things have changed so much since I was a kid in the 80s and 90s. Toronto was a safe city with a good vibe. Things were reasonably affordable. Trudeau didn't start a lot of the problems, but he massively accelerated them. Government is openly hostile to basically anyone who was born here. They sold out the country to wealthy foreigners. I make a decent income but I still can't afford a house. Taxes are killing me. My doctor is horrible, but I can't find a new one. Civil liberties went right out the window. The people are cold and sullen. Crime is getting bad. Life just feels like it gets a little worse every year. I've been mulling it over for a long time, but might finally be time to head south. There's got to be something better than this, because I'm getting older and life now just feels like going through the motions.

I am saying this coz I have seen this with my own eyes. Police is incompetent here. They will arrest you but will leave you after 15 minutes after making you sit in your car. I know people who have 5 6 DUI’s and they still drive drunk. They do it coz they know the shortcomings of police. They know jails are full here. Checkout what a high ranked police official said about cars being stollen in big cities of Ontario (its on youtube) for which he was trolled badly. Alina, I think you must consider Argentina inside your map options, if you have a remote work and a salary in USD, you could live well here. My recomendation is to visit Argentina and explore the country, not only Buenos Aires city. Blessings !! =)

Justin Trudeau and the liberals have destroyed this Country. I was born and raised in Canada in a town in Ontario along one of the Great Lakes Lake Erie. My parents and even their parents were born and raised in that same area I am from and Canada was a great place but since Justin Trudeau become PM everything started to change and not in a slow unnoticeable way it was fast. Drugs and homelessness started to become a thing something I have never seen in my life and even my neighbourhood and town started to change too with people that don't speak english and wait times in the ER started to be so much longer and even finding a doctor when I moved to the city was impossible to get. I have not traveled much only in a car or truck and never been on a airplane but I am considering moving out of Canada too. I am going to wait and see what happens in the election and see if things begin to charge before I leave the only place I know and start new somewhere else. I have been thinking of Southeast Asia like Laos or Thailand because there Canadian funds are worth something and you can live and at for very cheap and get a very nice place for half or less of what rent is here.

im lucky even tho im broke, im doing okay compared to most Canadians... I ive in Burnaby a city next to Vancouver. I pay 2050 for a 2 bedroom & 2 bathroom condo, I split the cost with a longtime friend I only make 19hr but I can afford the $1050 rent and my car insurance is only $95. If I were to look for a rental today I probably wouldnt be able to... have to maybe live in my car or move out of this city. All I know is Vancouver so that would be really tough for me.... it sucks what Canada is like in the 2020s..... too much bs

I was watching your video and it hurts me with how things are nowadays with everything skyrocketing in prices and the job market is not doing well, at least over here in Florida. I live in Miami and it's an expensive city to live in but the economy is not doing well here but overall I do love the city of Miami as I was born and raised here for the majority of my life. If you ever decide to move to the USA to the state of Florida, Central Florida is affordable and the cost of living is better than South Florida and the environment is more mellow. Great Video! Your totally right things here have changed for the worst but like you said Canada is still one of the best places to be. I still think life in Saskatchewan isn’t bad yet as it is in other provinces. If your in a major city than it’s tough to survive. My wife is from the Philippines so maybe we’ll go there in the winter months.

In my city people at the shopping center loose their jobs and are replaced by immigrants because the salaries of immigrants are financed by the governement aka your money.

We loved the city. \n\nWe left because all the “free” services were extremely inconvenient to access, housing is very difficult and very expensive for new immigrants, I experienced quite a bit of racism. \n\nOverall I have lived and worked in several cities in several countries, Germany did not feel friendly towards me in spite of my best efforts. Hey! I live in Edmonton Alberta Canada,population around 1.2 million. We have a huge awesome river and river valley that is utilized year round. There are non stop festivals, right now we have the Cari West the largest Caribbean festival in western Canada. Our tap water is amazing, my daughter rents the main floor of a renovated house that includes a garage for 1,400 a month. Gorgeous south side neighbourhood within walking distance to anything. Lots of imperfections as it is a big city and yes there is crime but it does not define what I do and where I go except possibly late at night. The cold in the winter is tolerable for the most part but that doesn’t stop any one from outdoor activities. Just put your warm clothes on and just get out there. I get fed up with winter when it drags on but all of a sudden we’ve been having record breaking heat this summer so I am looking forward to Autumn. We’re 4 hours from the fabulous Rocky Mountains and the wonderful city of Calgary is about an hour 1/2 from there. Alberta is my province and Edmonton is my home. The rest of Canada varies from one province to another. PS. We’ve travelled to various locations in the U.S. and were always treated well and enjoyed our visits, just sayin!

All people have the right to practice their religion but when you move to a new country, you can’t expect that country to change everything for your religion you have to adapt you have to share you have to compromise, and this is the problem with some people not all in different religions not just Muslims There are many people in society that take their religion to the extreme and that’s the problem. I can’t believe that these two actually expect or assume there’s something wrong with Canada because there’s no daily five times alarm that their prayer should be practised in every city in Canada at least two people speak very good English. In my experience, there has always been a feeling in Canada against immigrants. This is generally among the working class. \n\nIn the early 1990s I was doing a lot of work in Canada for a US tech company. I am an American, by the way. One time I was working with a Chinese Canadian engineer, who worked for the client company. We went to the loading dock to check on the equipment from my company, which had just arrived. The native Canadian loading dock workers were openly making racist slurs about the Chinese engineer, right in front of him. He was very careful not to respond. I asked him about it later, and he just waved it off. This was in the Toronto area. I was also warned about Chinese who were involved in organized crime in the city. Then, a few days later I saw it in downtown Toronto. Two Chinese men in a Mercedes had stopped on the road and pulled a woman out of the car and started threatening her. It was a tense situation. \n\nOften it is the government types that welcome the immigrants, for various reasons. Canada does indeed have a demographic problem. \n\nThis is not the 19th and early 20th century in Canada or the US or Europe. Today we have extensive social safety nets. This means taxpayer dollars. In the earlier times the immigrants had to fend for themselves. Even then, there would be feelings against the immigrants. At least in the US it was a time of rapid economic and geographic expansion. Not so anymore.

They can pass close enough apparently for Latin folks or Basques. \n \nAfter the Brits took the Americas they gaslit their Ashkenazi cousins (who DO have European blood) into taking territory in Turkey and Syria and pushed them into Europe creating the conflicts that created WW1 and WW2. \n \nThese folks are extremely anti-European. We see them impersonating Spanish in South America. They are impersonating French Canadians in Canada trying to push for separatism from Europeans. They are in Russia causing racial conflicts in Russia possibly as Ingush and Dagestan peoples. It is very likely these are the folks that are attacking us all for racial hatred. Its clear they don't like Africa. Its clear they don't like Europe. Its clear they don't even like their Middle Eastern and Ashkenazi Jewish cousins. \n \nIt is NOT a coincidence that the regions these folks live in are under wars and massive migration movements today. (Israel, Russia/Ukraine, mass Migration of South America, mass Migration of Northern Africa, French Canadian Separatism). I mapped it. They are in EVERY region with wars and displaced migrants today. \n \nIndian Sikhs look like Dagestans. So they might be impersonating Sikhs now. They are causing havoc in Britain, Canada and Guyana. Trying to make money on illegal immigration out of territories they are trying to expand their own peoples INTO. \n \nThey look Middle Eastern they might be impersonating Palestinians and Israeli Jews too. Just my 2 cents here. I know its anecdotal, but i feel like its probably the norm.\n\nI lived in Canada my whole life, i visited the states and lived there for a few months for a job.\n\nThe amount of violence, gun or otherwise, is night and day. In the U.S. you could have a gun pulled on you in a grocery strore, on the highway, in the park, at the bar...\n\nIn canada, you could walk an entire city, late at night, completely alone, and the odds of someone hurting you in anyway at all is like single digit %. In the U.S, you arent making it 2 blocks without trouble.\n\nIt is mind boggling how dangerous it feels to just be in the states then it does in Canada. Until you have experienced both, you just cant understand how wildly different just this 1 aspect is.

Is 41k reasonable for rent for a month? helping drive up inflation sounds cool. Sorry, I would not spend 41k on rent. I would buy a house. Please stay in Toronto and Vancouver don't come near I live in my city and never used to have homeless people on the streets.

Why? Because in 3 years the demographics of my city has completely changed. Completely. 100% of the businesses are now Indian owned and run, with all the employess being Indian... and 90% of the people on the streets and living there are now non-european immigrants.

NYC deserves what it is getting now. The city has had the worse reputation for years. Although that are many fine people who live there, the reputation for rudeness and arrogance in unmatched. I had to go to many business meetings in NYC and was even a schedule speaker a convention at Madison Square Garden. Whenever had had to go there,\nI couldn't wait to leave. Im 25. Lived in Scarborough my whole life. There’s always been a ton of Indians. My yearbooks have dedicated pages to “Patels” & “Singhs”. Nowadays though 90% of the people I see on my day to day are Indian. If you wanna see any diversity you actually have to leave the city ? crazy times man

I'm Canadian. Canada isn't the same anymore. Everyone is basically broke right now, no onr can find work, and if you can, you still won't be making enough to keep up with inflation. Mortages and rent have doubled, food prices are robbing us, and we are taxed significantly only for our tax dollars to be wasted. \n\nAnother issue is Crime. \nCrime has gone up, Especially in the past few years. A few months ago, I shared a city government survey designed to collect residents' opinions about the next 5-year development plan with some friends, but only one out of five showed interest in participating.\nI hope that more Canadians will take advantage of their democratic system to drive change and shape her into the country they want to live in. We bought are house in 2000, my boys one born here and they grew here, there are white Canadians with University degree and they can’t find job here!! Everything is been taking over by Indians! My sons have to drive long distance to work!! And other thing that algoma “university “ was the excuse to move a lot of students into neighborhood , taking family houses and put 12 and more inside and WE have to pay high taxes!! And take the jobs in the area! Things don’t look good, plus garbage in parks. I was doing some comparative research on violent crime statistics because my home town of Winnipeg gets such a bad rap in Canada as the nation's most crime-ridden major city. So I did some looking into US cities of roughly the same size and crime stats. As it turns out, Winnipeg is the same as Seattle. Ever hear an American bitch about the crime in Seattle?

As outlined in the Constitution , the House represents citizens based on district populations, while the Senate represents citizens on an equal state basis. Now while New York's citizen population has been on a slight decline for the last 20 years. A lot of the immigrants coming are just middle-class but in other countries. my sister-in-law took in some Venezuelans and all they cared about was visiting New York City to take pictures with the Statue of Liberty. I sell used clothes and my sister-in-law took them to my shop and they did not want the clothes because it was used. These people are ungrateful.

I live right on the Canadian border to Michigan near Detroit and talking to an agent who goes to my gym, he says they are catching more coming across the Detroit river than ever before. The city I grew up in 1970-80 was 98% white and now 40% is hispanic and growing. Soon very few whites will even border Detroit in the burbs. White males are not getting good blue collar jobs because they’re going to more DEI applicants. Cities that were vibrant with large shopping centers and baseball fields are gone and empty. I live in Buffalo, NY on the Canadian border. For the last 50 years (my memory), we’ve never had an issue with illegal crossings. \n\nAlthough NYS is a “sanctuary state”, we are NOT a sanctuary city. Local police do work with ICE, as much as they’re allowed. There’s no free housing or benefits. Thats only NY City. \n\nThe border is in a rural area. The kind of place everyone has a shotgun of some sort. Walking up on someone in their back yard may not work out the way they think it will.

I am going to tell you all the truth. I moved away from Canada in 2006 and lived in China up until 2019 (moved back to Canada). I saw China develop into a superpower, hiccups and inflation galore. But taxes are relatively fair and the opportunity to build something was always present. I find Canada has become a terrible choice especially now (totally neutral standpoint). If you didn't get into the housing market pre-pandemic, it will be harsh and you will be either a mortgage or tenant slave. The taxes are outrageous, utilities, insurance... these items are MUCH higher than China (and most countries). Owning a vehicle comes with high costs and you basically need one if you don't live in a top tier city. And then you are overpaying in living costs. Income tax (25-60%), property tax (about a month's salary), HST (13%)... and what do you get in return? A broken healthcare system, more freedoms (debatable), your children learning about woke agendas? An inadequate pension? If you are not in the top 5-10% (and I am), this is a very bad deal. My advice is to try to earn online with a passion and live in a location where you can actually save. Coming to Canada for the experience is great. But trying to build up in Canada is not a great choice. I am on the winning side warning you, Canada is saturated... look elsewhere.

Ironically due to the economic conditions and mass immigration, younger Canadians aren’t having children anymore due to it being hard enough to get by without any dependents. And spread the people out to the smaller communities that need workers instead of turning Toronto into whatever it is. Reduced taxes for your first property, but additional if you own several (a system similar to what Norway does). Reduced foreign ownership in our home real estate market (home should be for families, and not financial assets for international businesses).\n\nAnd like the video said some more darn infrastructure. In my childhood, I saw entire neighbourhoods being built in - timely fashions. Now it’s rare to see a single home under construction in my home city. quebec is not the best province unless you only speak french. it used to be, about 50 years ago. but they heve destroyed the english community and along with it, the province with their draconian language laws. i have been descriminated against, by the police, government agencies, some store workers and french citizens (who tell me to go back where i came from) here in quebec. montreal used to be canadas largest and best city but now it has fallen to 2nd place and rapidly approaching 3rd. toronto has surpassed it, vancouver is quickly catching up, and calgary, edmonton, halifax are all growing but montreal has stagnated. i know, ive lived here all my life. there is nobody left who i grew up with. friends and family have all moved on to better places. and none of them regret it. i have been to vancouver, calgary, new brunsdwick, nova scotia and P.E.I., and i believe all of them are better than living in quebec. there is a reason why rents are cheaper in montreal, but it is catching up to the rest of the country. and there is a large homeless community. i would put quebec at 8th or 9th. and B.C. number 1 with P.E.I. 2nd.

For my work im in about 6 to 15 homes a day, every day, and this is all you see now. Homes packed full of immigrant families living in utter squalor, and the landlord is some dude who lives in a other city or country

My main issue with our country allowing so many immigrants into the country is that many of these immigrants from India seem to come to buy businesses up and sponsor their families and friends to live in Canada and work in their businesses which makes it extremely difficult to get basic minimum wage jobs. \nI’ve seen it first hand in my small town, I worked at a Tim Horton’s that was owned by Canadian owners but was sold halfway through my employment to an Indian family and slowly but surely all of the original Canadian workers, including the many young workers (high schoolers) we had employed were pushed out of the business, laid off, given less shifts in favour of giving the Indian employees more shifts. \nI had applied to become manager when my manager quit, I had worked there for a year and instead of promoting me (Because it just would have made sense because I know the job and live very close) An indian man was hired from a city 30 minutes away who’s never worked at a Tim Horton’s and barely spoke English. He was totally sexist to all the young female workers and treated them horribly. He never spoke English on the floor when our staff started to hire more Indian workers. \nIt’s becoming insane.

I find this so distressing and alarming, we are quite literally watching Canada disappear before our very eyes. It used to be that immigrants would trickle in gradually, and people new to the country (like my own family a few generations back) would aspire to assimilate into the culture, adopt our values, and become Canadians. But these new immigrants are completely different… They want all the benefits that come from living & working in Canada, but have no interest in actually becoming Canadian. I walk around in my own city now and more than 50% of the people I pass by are speaking in foreign languages and make zero effort to learn or speak English. Indians are literally everywhere and completely dominate certain jobs and industries. This has all happened in the span of about 10 years too. I feel like an outsider in my own country, and I feel like this county has lost its identity completely ?

My passport, immigration docs and laptop bag was stolen by a drug addict in Vancouver BC IN oct 2019 . It took me 6 hours to launch my complaint to Vancouver police department , when I went to police station they said it’s 5 PM , we are closing the station please launch your complain online. Indian embassy there helped me get back with a tatkal passport. You might say you can stay out of drugs and enjoy the city life but it affects you every now and then. And when police also is on their side it’s the worst situation to be in.

The city distance thing is so true, in my “little” city, when I was 15 I met this dude who lived 5 miles of south of me, when I first started going to his area, it felt like a completely different city, Their was so many restaurants and places that I never heard of and The culture in the city actually felt different (even though it’s a suburban city)
