Wow that was sleazy of Trudeau to do! He first tweets a welcome to everyone, then back-peddles. It's almost as if he planned it that way with Trump. Scare a bunch of people to go to Canada who may not have otherwise checked in in the US, only to deport them. Makes no sense if that court program in the US had a success rate of over 95% of people showing up to immigration court. I feel lucky to have been born where I've been born. If it weren't for WWII, I wouldn't even exist here, as me.

Wow what a beautiful commercial once again trying to project the refugees at the expense of the Canadian tax payer ... how much to make this CBC ? What ever just add it to the crushing debt we will pay for years to come thanks Liberals!!

Can immigrants put all their money and time into making their own country better? Wow, what a concept, I’m American and care less about Central American corruption and crime, that’s their business

I am sorry to make such a frivolous comment on such an important topic but the woman at 19:30 (Bev Ann?) is SO beautiful, like wow. \n\nBut on a more serious note, I think most of us have inherent biases to some degree (those who took these tests and indicated they don't have them - kudos to you). I openly admit I do too, and I think that's difficult to prevent if you've grown up without being exposed to a particular race or ethnicity, so I don't beat myself up about it. I think what we CAN do is make ourselves aware of our inherent biases and try to examine ourselves when we are forming impressions or making decisions about people and make a conscious effort to educate ourselves about and increase our interactions with people with whom we are unfamiliar. Ultimately, it's a fear of the unknown, so the more we know, the less we fear. I have my work cut out for me and I try to make small improvements every day.

Such generalizations. After listening for just one minute I conclude that you found out that lumping everybody into the same basket was stupid but it took you 25 years to find that out. Wow! More people are killed or injured traveling in car than in a mountain bike. There are 50 states in the USA so most statements you make may refer to just one or two states. Canada has 10 provinces and the health care is slightly different in each province. Wait until you have lived in any country for a few years before you can talk authoritatively about it. Canada is a good country to live in so is Australia but even better are some or the northern or western countries in Europe where health care is affordable and good and food is affordable and good. The USA has more millionaires and billionaires and a lot of them are in government. Think about that. Lots of guns and judging by the news quite a few racist cops who never get punished. Think about that too. Bad water in many places; also worth thinking about. There are more lobbyists than there are legislators and they all make money; think about that and ask yourself why.

Wow. I seem to have stumbled into an infinite pile of bullshit! The media equates Islam with terrorists, while Mulsim women claim to have higher status than men. Both are wrong, but this is an episode that's meant to make us feel fear, so who gives a fuck about truth, right?
