Okay I have seen some non-sense in the comments section and I think Indian government should stop Indian students going to Canadian universities thereby fuelling their toothless economy by billions of dollars every year. Why can’t Trudeau take a simple stand against granting visa to Indian students if they think they are a major player in this world. The truth is, Indian education is growing and it’s good enough but at this point, most students who go there don’t know why they are going. The people who get caught in such problems are desperate people who are largely lured by a foreign and an exotic life. Looking at the Canadian housing crisis and other practical domestic difficulties, India is a much better nation. Some illiterates here are talking about literacy rates when we are running major tech corporations across the world.

The problem is canada doesn't let survive the small business and they support only chain business and has all monopoly, small individiual business can't survive in Canada, where ever u go u see same tim horton same walmart same supporstore same mecdownal same wendies same many many, every city looks same its like people are forced to eat what they serve there is no freedom for small business to grow in canda,, all food is full of GMO and organic things they don't import and all people got no choice and all is again monopoly everywhere. Then why people will like canda and and no place to grow,, all everywhere rules regulations no one feels like this country is their. Its hard to grow in canada, racism is on top, if u have a job u can only survive, lots of health issues in canada and taxes so high.

It’s been 5 years for me here and I honestly can say I have achieved nothing in my life yet. It scares me when I think I can’t return whatever my parents had invested in me. The fact is you’ll never have a good paying job in Canada being an immigrant. When I say this trust me I mean it. Most you’ll get is a minimum wage job which can make you survive the life here. Taxes are high definitely and what I feel is you’re working to make someone else’s life easier. \n(P.S: people who’ve stayed in Canada will understand who I’m implying to)\nNo one wants to be your freind, scope of socializing is zero coz mostly it’s cold round the year so everyone hardly come out, especially in Northern provinces like Yukon, Saskatchewan, Manitoba.\nHealthcare is a joke. If you feel sick and not well and you wanna see a doctor be prepared to wait for hours and hours. I once had stomach infection and I had to wait 5 hours till someone could see me. I asked for painkiller at-least so I could bear the pain but they refused that as well. You might well see someone you love dearly and with whole heart die in-front of you and you could do nothing. (I’ve experienced it myself hence saying)\nYou’re a lone survivor who’ll always keep fighting. \nThe only person who can make money here is businesses and high paid jobs which are reserved to Canadians. That’s how Canada’s job market is. Canadians’ first and if there’s something left they’ll look at you. By the amount of money people invest here they can establish a nice business back in their country itself and earn accordingly on own terms. \nMost importantly you’ll cut yourself from all emotional supports like family, freinds etc.\nI was social person back in India who liked making new freinds and memories but it’s nothing like that here. \nAnd it’s the same life, no different.\nYou wake up, dress, eat, go to work, come back, eat, sleep. No different.\nNo fun and nothing. You actually don’t live in present, you live in an expectation of a better tommorow.\nYou’ll always have a smile when you greet someone but I guarantee you no one’s gonna check on you to if you don’t start a conversation even with a simple “Hi”. Mostly Canadians are nice but again some will systematically judge you and say nothing but you’ll see in their actions, the way they’ll talk in a twisted way etc.\nYes I’m not saying that Canada’s bad or it’s no good but trust me it will take forever to build a life here especially with the number of people moving here from round the world. \nIf you’re well off financially from back home Canada’s a paradise for you. Indeed it’s a beautiful country with lots of beauty and lots to explore but remember everything comes with a cost here. Everything comes with a cost. People need to stop believing in this fake illusion and come only if they got a purpose here. The only reason why they’ll let you in the country is for money and once you’re in you’ll have to keep spending, doesn’t matter if you’re broke or whatever you have to.\nOnce I earn I’ll happily give up my PR status and go back to India as i very well know what the situation is how it’s gonna be in future.\nSo just one piece of advise to every middle class person like me, guys please invest and spend your money wisely coz we know how hard it is to earn and it’s high time Canadians start appreciating what immigrants like us do for them by burning ourselves day and night and start realizing that their past generation once came from some other part of the world as well and settled here. Being white doesn’t make you a nice Canadian, you’re actions defines you more than your words. \n90% of this country is built by immigrants and that’s how it’s gonna develop in future, so if they keep treating us the same way good luck to them ?.\nAlso a plus note to anyone thinking that Asians are stealing your jobs, go get outside and have the balls to face them and take it away from them. I always wondered why I had to be here when the snow tilted between 45 and 60 degrees in winter and hit my face at 30-40 km/h.\nquality of food, transportation, service from employees, speed of processing time, etc there were many things that made me really unsatisfied being living in Toronto.\nsame, at the first time I came Toronto, everything looks great. but not anymore \nI'm korean and I feel really unsafe when I go and live abroad. Korea, Japan, Singapore mainly all Asian countries are top 5 in safety all over the world I think. \nAsia especially Korean and Japan have great service, quality of food with reasonable price. I think I don't need to move foreign country. \nmy background is in South Korea but I can say living in Toronto Canada was horrible and harsh for Korean. Because of multiple reasons but the harsh weather is the biggest for me. Feels like winter in Toronto is 7~8 months long if I compare it to winter in Korea. Fall and Spring?? No, they don't have fall and spring and it's all winter. they have snow in early September late April or May. It was horribly hard because the cold air from the arctic and really powerful wind came all together. even though the weather and temperature look a little bit off from Korea, Canada has a much more harsh location with weather. not only harsh weather but they do provide really embarrassing experience such as expensive payment for everything, a lot of factors disturb me from leaking money. I don't think Canada is a good country. my view of this country totally has been changed 3 years ago.

Nice candid video Tyler. I have a good friend (a Jusey Gurl) who moved to Canada like 20ish years ago I think mainly because of an ex. I think she appreciates the health care as well with my talks with her over the years. She and I've been thinking this lately that Canadians have either changed or that Canadians are more friendly stereotype is going down .I think with more immigration, the cost of living and frozen pay and higher and higher taxes Canadians are increasing discouraged with politics and Canada in general. You noticed many of the woman mentioning health care and social programs as well? Police... We have a lot here as well maybe more so because of pay. The police are well looked after and paid well here. I think politics are getting more polar and more divisive here as well. The liberals have really really done a stellar job with two terms of sheer WEF CCP hogwash to destroy the country. Another general stereotype is that Americans are obnoxious and unpleasant isn't true as well. I'm in tourism and find most of the Yanks to be friendly and polite and GREAT TIPPERS. Ha many US servers don't like it when Canucks go over there because they're stingy. I think if everything works out without saying more, your country, like it or not , will ultimately start the big liberation finally of humanity hopefully for the better. You folks generally have a bigger love of freedom and you're ARMED. You have the mindset and the LEVERAGE to change the system. And we as Canadians are always looking and following the US why to the extent because things are a little different here I don't know... I used to think we were very much the same and I wanted to live in the US for the weather. But as we go often I have found the atmosphere and attitude has changed greatly in the last few years. People we used to be friends with don’t speak to me anymore as I called them on their awful beliefs. I know it’s not everyone but those beliefs have become way more common. The US used to be more global but now has become way more worried about themselves. \nYou can not talk about politics in a way that’s just a calm exchange, the hate is palpable. I went to an event the morning after a mass shooting and was visibly upset, not one person there talked about it or really thought about it. I asked someone about their thoughts and said “I don’t know why we have so many shootings here in the US” \nEducation is my next thing. The people I talk to know nothing about Canada and that’s not such a surprise but I know more about the US than most Americans I’ve talked to.\nI agree with a comment previously 26:29 that the north east is better educated and less dangerous.\nI feel bad for you as this is harsh but even on the news when Americans talk about being the greatest country etc on earth it feels arrogant. I live in Canada for 26 years and seems like you guys are educated people and that’s main reason why you got direct PR. But I like to tell you that 2.5 months in Canada is not enough to explore. Also, if you keep Indian job options open, you’ll always go back. I have my brother in law who went back after 2.5 years just because he couldn’t take winter ?…and also, there are lots of veg options here…I don’t agree with you on that point. I live in Canada as a Kenyan and I have been here for sometime .I work as a HR/Payroll Specialist also certified in the field. The problem is not Canada , Canada is a very good county which I love and I am gland God gave me the Opportunity to Come and settle here with my family.. The problem with some people coming here is lacking of knowledge how Canada works .It’s system is very far from how things work in Dubai or Gulf countries. A lot people are thinking than you can just come and get any job even without proper papers or you can earn a lot of money and then build wealth quickly. Which is A BIG FAT LIE. The tax in Canada keeps you humble. That is how Canada funds it's high end life many admire and want to be part of. The more you work in Canada the more tax you pay and many don't know this, and it is one of the main reasons why a lot of people start to regrets, because they realize there effort of working hard is not paying as they hoped. Another thing in Canada is next to impossible to get jobs or rent a place without proper paper work, like work permit, It is not like USA where you can use someone else papers to work. the The main available jobs , easy to get , don’t pay much. And also the cost of living is very high in some provinces like Ontario and BC. They hardly recognize credentials from outside unless you came through a job offer. Also because a lot of things in Canada are paid by the government through taxes, like health care, education. Unless you are tax paper with (and I repeat) Paper work, you cant access the benefit, including thee free food available for the needy. \nMany people forget Canada is looking for people to work for them. Not to grow rich and leave. The system is meant to keep you working. Unless you understand how a system of a country works, one will continue to blame it. Let people get well informed and well educated first , before they jump in the river. And it’s not Canada a lone , but any country in the world. Also a lot of these media post about Canada are misleading. And there is also another trap called debt, a lot of people once they getting working, rush to but things they cant afford and it becomes a stress instead of a blessings.\nIf you want to live well and enjoy Canada . One of the top thing to do is, go back to school once you enter in it, get a good education and you will get a good job. Also give yourself time to adjust. REMEMBER you are starting from square one. You are not continuing where you left in Kenya or in the country you get from. Also, the general social climate is not as friendly as those in USA for example. Not many people are willing to help for free. The most jobs advertised in Canada are the lower end paying jobs, which a lot of people pay a lot of money to come for, just to realize the job they left behind was far much better than this, but no one told them that, just because it said $18 hrs and you converted it to your country and looked a lot, doesnt mean it carries the same wait once you earn in from here. The living expense are very different. The reality is, it is not where you are , but whom you are and determination knows no barrier. Anyone who will trust God for help, work hard/smart and be patience in life, they will make. It might take longer than they expect, but they will get their eventually.

Southern Ontario is ugly as F**k, I was born here and have seen all the woodlands marshes and especially small streams and creeks disappear over the past 50 years. You have to drive a fair distance north to find an appealing landscape even driving to Niagra falls is a big disappointment now that it has become a giant shi*hole of overcrowded tikky takky shops and motels.Everyone thinks Canada is this huge country with tons of beautiful spaces to live while in reality 75% of the country is uninhabitable for farming or houseing which is shown in the rates of low inhabitants living farther north. 90% of Canadians live within a 1 to 2 hour drive of the U.S border for a reason because there is very little livable places to live in Canada if you don't want to live like an Eskimo. There are vast amounts of places to visit in the north in the summer time but to visit not to live. That leads to the question of why is Canada incentivizing peoples from more tropical climates to immigrate to a nation that is frozen 6 or 7 months a year which i think can lead to a lot of immigrants dealing with depression, its hard enough for the people born here but thats never discussed for fear of imprisonment by the government The government had 2 choices to which way to go in this country, the first was to find a way to pay for all the older citizens through CPP and OAS payments in the next 25 years which ment higher taxes and less money for the elderly citizens and the 2nd was mass very mass immigration to pay for these programs and in doing so turned the country into a place where no one can find a doctor no one can find or afford a place to live,cities have become overcrowed because they were not given the time to adjust thier infrastrutures to deal with all the new people and voila you have a giant shithole of a country.

There are just so many misinformation and misrepresentation from this video. \n\nFor example, for how long has the person you are interviewing reside in Canada to be able to come to those conclusion? Is the person working full time? He said he is a research student so how does he know what it is to work and not enjoy your money when he is just a research student who is not earning salary? \n\nEveryone will just come to Canada and be talking down on the country. This is why I'm very adamant on my dreams to work in the US. I'm a US citizen because I was born there when my dad went to school for his doctorate degree. I feel very lucky to have that, and that is why I have a dream to live and work there. I know applying for a residence and work permit is a very difficult process to do. I would feel very stupid not to take this chance to live and work in the US.\nAfter a few setbacks of me not being able to go to college there (my parents wouldn't let me because they're not sure of letting me living alone there even though we have a relative there), my parents finally let me go there for work. I just now finished my masters degree, I hope I can make it there as well.

In the past 2 years I have had 5 crainiotomies, 1 kidney removed and a hernia. Looking at this in the USA, this would cost me over $3, 000, 000 for my care. I would be bankrupt. You say that the health insurance cost ONLY a couple of hundred dollars a month ($2400 a year) ... here, I pay NOTHING per month. Most insurance plans in the USA hve a few THOUSAND dollar deductible on top of the monthly payment. Yes, I do pay higher taxes than in the USA but the social programs are worth it ... INCLUDING HEALTH CARE. There is also a reason why the Canadian lapel pin is worn by Americans in when they go to Europe. There is also a reason why part of the French landscape is Canadian soil (Vimy Ridge ... France gave the area to Canada as a THANK YOU for what we did during WW1). The Netherlands sends Canada 1000's of tulips to Canada every year thanking Canada for making part of the maternity ward in Ottawa Hospital Dutch soil. Queen Jiliana gave birth to Margriet and the only way to stay in line for the thrrone was to be born on Dutch soil ... Ottawa complied. Canada also liberated the Netherlands in WW2.

Hmm I wonder why difficult technical jobs are relatively low paying in Canada. Oh right because you're in competition with the entire world, not just other Canadian citizens born and raised in Canada. Canada is effective subsidized the whole world and artificially lowering their own employment standards. As sad as it sounds, there will always be someone talented from a developing nation willing to do your very difficult job which you studied years to be able to do, for barely above the cost of living, because this is still better than their career and life trajectory in their own nation. How many big tech firms in the US have fired thousands of US employees in austerity moves, only then to apply for H1B visa a week later. Why educate, train, employ, and pay fairly American workers, when you can find an immigrant willing to do it for half the price. I'm pro immigration and even pro high special immigration, but the cutoff for H1B visa salaries should be 50% higher than prevailing wages in similar roles. If this position is so specialized and in demand that there simply aren't enough native populations available to do it and schools simply aren't training it, then supply and demand homie, go pay for it. Oil, gas, and petroleum engineering is a great example of this - the US barely teaches this anymore despite there being demand, so we have to hire foreign nationals. Engineering and medicine are examples of oligarchs finding ways to extract the most capital by exploiting people as much as possible. Why pay a reasonable wage for really difficult jobs, when you can find a foreigner willing to do it for barely enough to cover groceries and rent.

This Canadian lived in Orange County CA for 10 years. I took my the 12 year old with me. I had been offered my dream job and was paid enough to have a good standard of living. However, I lived in an immigrant community to save money as I found many of the high schools were horrid compared to Canada. I had not realized the school to school inequality to be so extreme and my kid changed to independent study at home. So with a Canadian elememtary education, they graduated high school a year only while skipping no courses..\n\nMy kid had medical issues and even with good HMO insurance, we could never get a decent diagnosis until it had gotten so bad that their digestive system was so wrecked. I finally sent them back to Canada for the surgery that we could not get in the USA. It seemed the insurance companies kept getting in the way. And in one case a doctor went all religious on us. After 6 years of almost continuous pain they finally got relief for a decade until the prior damage came back to haunt them However, after a year of university ib Canada my kid went to a private university in the eastern USA. They have decided to remain in the USA and now in their mid 30s, they make really good money anf have top line medical insurance which pays for the ongoing care they need because of the damage caused by delays when a teenager. \n\nI found life in the suburbs of Orange County nice but the OC is not a good place to meet people. When after 10 years there, in 2010 I returned to Vancouver to care for my elderly mother. I had been living alone for 6 years by then and was offered the first job in Vancouver anything close to me dream job there. and I returned to Canada at age 59. I had been approved for a green card in 2008 but there was a 6 year wait for it to come through. But I noticed the racism in the USA start breaking out all over the place when Obama got elected. And it has gotten worse and worse every year. Especially with 45 enabling it so much. \n\nMy circle of friends in Southern California are mainly good people and not at all like what we call MAGA-hats now. Except one who thinks 45 was the greatest. Politically, the USA is on the path that Germany was on in 1933 and I fear for the US Democracy if the Orange One gets in again. Even my kid and their spouse have bug out plans to head to Canada just in case. This is why my kid, while having a green card has never taken US citizenship. Besides, being a Canadian has not affected things the two times they got security clearances \n\nWhile most Americans are good people, it seems that about 25% have gone just plain loco and care nothing about democracy. And appear to prefer the USA to be a totalitarian theocracy \n\nI was there long enough, paying the maximum FICA taxes for 10 years to get a small pension from Social Security and I have Medicare Part A. I can afford to buy parts B and D but I see no reason. I have even better coverage in Canada for way less cost. The USA has a nice warm climate in many places and I just loved that. But otherwise y'all have too many people who want to turn the place into an intolerant police state and to return the country to 1950s levels of intolerance, So in my retirement, I will stay here in Canada. Even though I could go and move in with my kid in the USA and get onto US Medicare.

canada is a shit hole (born and raised here) yesterday there was a job fair at a grocery store and the line of people applying was over a km - for the lowest level position possible. rent in a town no one in the world has ever heard of is more than N.Y.C or Tokyo. we have thousands of homeless immigrants sleeping outside in camps in toronto as they have no where to go and everywhere you go in this country someone is dying from the opioid epidemic, crime has gone up 50% in many cities. no one will ever buy a house and the people born here cant/wont have kids because its to expensive. the Canadian population is dying out bc out government is trash and instead of helping us they bring in more immigrants who will take the shit housing with 14 adults in 1 room and wont call the labour board when they are exploited. that is why Canada accepts so many immigrants bc they are exploitable - very easy to see when you live here its disgusting.

But Australia is not like they have presented here. The problem is their selection of the study and its incompatibility with the Australian requirements. They have provided a lot of information. But many things are wrong... Even in 2017, things were not like this. They were in Accounts and people in accounting were having better scores than them and a lot of people go for this course. So all about competitiveness. In 2017, 60 points were required for 189 subclass. People got PRs on 50 points as well as on 489 visas but on other profiles. Moreover, IELTS academic was never mandatory for PR. The points system is in the picture for 15 years. Two draws in a month were there till June 2018. 491 was started in 2019 October. In 491 you can work on any profile in a regional area and NO INCOME CONSTRAINTS are THERE FOR 491(They are claiming 70000 AUD). Canada is also following Australia now, you can see the recent skill-specific draws of Canada.

I was once asked by a American colleague why did I not immigrated to the USA, the answer is: it was not even in the list of possible countries. In fact it is on my top list of places not to move to. \n\nYou have a good insurance through your job? Even if you do have good insurance your bills may one day go beyond the maximum and you still risk bankruptcy. \n\nIf you do go bankrupt, in any civilized country you can’t go to jail for debt, in the USA you can, the country with the highest incarcerated population in the world in absolute numbers and relative too. To add salt to the injury it is a country that did not completely make slave work illegal, it is still legal if you are not a free citizen and your prison system exploit that.\n\nSo it is a country that you can become slave because you got sick.\n\nThen there are the guns… the fact you think you are exempt of school shootings says it all, if you live in a small city it would not affect you? Are you really saying mass shootings never occur in small cities?! I suggest google’n “ school shootings, small town America”…. article after article, when you do, says why most mass school shootings tend to happen in small towns….where nobody expects that they would have happened & how all the residents in those towns are always surprised that they happened in their town. \nI say this as somebody who once loved the idea of moving to the USA. \nMy mom was a single parent and as a result I spent a ton of time as a very young kid in the late 80s throughout the mid 90s in a small town in Oregon on my aunt and uncles dairy farm with my cousins and I absolutely loved it. Truthfully, I still love small-town America and I love the vast majority of the people I have met from small-town America. There is the friendliness and community that I find very similar to prairie farming towns in Canada. \n And as a kid, I loved the focus on high school sports in the small USA town I spent time in and how it brought the community together. It was very exciting to go to my cousins football games—stuff like that was super fun as a kid.\nAs an adult, with 2 young kids of my own now? \nYes, I would be terrified to send my children to any school in the United States, especially knowing that the vast majority of my school shootings do happen in small towns, which is a type of place in the states I would personally like to go to, if I did move. \n\nAdditionally, I will be completely bankrupt at this point given my own health issues as well as my two kids health issues and I’m just in my late 30s. \nAnd I’m not talking to super crazy health issues, but health issues nonetheless. I have asthma that has gone through patches where I’ve had to be hospitalized & I was diagnosed with stage 3 malignant melanoma when I was in my late 20s and pregnant with my 2nd. My first child was born with a congenital heart disorder that was missed through the pregnancy and until she was two, and that involved many many trips to the hospital & various specialists until they figured out what was going on (one of the symptoms was her randomly stopping breathing and going blue, which was terrifying, and could’ve been for many different reasons & it took many specialists & many hospital visits to figure it all out)\nMy son was born with a multiple protein intolerance and later received an autism diagnosis. There a decent number of hospital visits and specialists for his first couple of years of life too. \n\n I have no idea if I was in the United States how I would’ve paid for any of our health issues (let alone all three of ours) for that 5 or 6 year period where we all needed various types of regular-ish medical care. \n(because we got good medical care, thankfully, none of us have really had to see doctors any more than the average person in the last few years?)\n\nMy kids are now in elementary school, and, as a Canadian, the issue of school shootings happening anywhere….., including in small towns that seem perfectly safe……as well as the cost of healthcare for stuff that is covered by our taxes here in Canada….. are the two biggest reasons that I will think fondly of my time in small-town America, but would never consider moving there

Lack of affordable housing -- lack of housing in general -- is the main reason people already living here are being priced out and why so many refugees and immigrants cannot afford the cost when they move here. When these people come to Canada for a better life and/or to escape the suffering that they were living in, they cannot bring their homes with them. It is the government's responsibility at all levels to ensure that these newcomers have a place to go when they come here. A homeless shelter should not be the answer. Buy up office spaces and convert them (if safe to do so with whatever codes need to be met) into affordable housing units. For years we've been seeing hundreds of news articles about vacancies in office buildings being at all time highs, yet only a handful of them are being converted. 500,000 people a year entering a country where there isn't enough housing for them (let alone the people living here already) is irresponsible on the government's part. If this is your pledge, at least give these people a better life and not send them to shelters or onto the streets as soon as they arrive. If Canada is to truly be a safe haven for immigrants and refugees escaping their hardships, it's paramount that the government does what it can to make these people actually feel like their life will change for the better. I'm all for immigration since it helps the economy and knowing that Canada can put people in a better position for themselves and their families, but it's the lack of preparation from the governments that makes me question their pledge in this way.

The base of homelessness in Canada is because they don’t treat them at the time of need if depression is in its very earliest stage it’s treatable but when it gets in middle high and severe level than that’s untreatable why ? Because of the medical system in Canada ✌️ They only give you a painkiller tablets like Tylenol and etc after 1 month appointment running behind there hospitals and clinics than they asks patients to enjoy life and meaning of enjoyment in Canada is go to bars drink alcohols do cannabis strip bars tGirls do cannabis strip bars you are good citizen and you would be cured like this ✌️?

So be honest, Texas and California should be part of Mexico and if you don’t believe me, go research how we obtain California and Texas if you don’t know we stole them from Mexico and the sad part is it’s the only parts of Mexico that really had real economically rich resources if you look at the rest of Mexico, pretty much 60% of it is uninhabited and that is because there are zero resources or they are just very scarce and it’s impractical to put a society there. That’s why a lot of Mexico lives along the coast line. It’s also why most of Mexico is very poor and the other sad part of reality is it’s the same thing America does. Venezuela is an extreme socialist problem. They control all prices and hijack the concept of healthy business functions. This causes essential goods like water, food, and toilet paper, even fruits, are totally barren from stores. Socialism there is a nightmare and no one is living life their with decency. Read about it before you judge these people. Try to visit these countries or learn from someone who came from there before you form a solid opinion of politics folks They don’t have the ability to use much of their “freedom” to “fix” things against a rigged system already (some commenters say they need to go back and fix their countries- lots of issues with this). Read up on how South American governments make it almost impossible for their own people to make decent money. Americans are very privileged and that is an understatement. The problem is with these terrible governments and even law enforcement who often get bribed by criminals and many dirty cops in some countries down there. My husband is from South America, and we know Cubans, Brazilians, and Venezuelans who beg America to stay capitalist. That’s why America needs to stay American, and refrain from trying to be socialist.

There are many reasons and many who problems. You can’t just narrow this down to 1 of anything. One problem is for decades children were brought up to believe that when they turn 18 or 21 or when they get a full time job or graduate college it’s time to leave the nest . Why? So you can live the life of a bachelor or bachelorett? Party all night or get drunk and do most things you wouldn’t want your parents to know about. Pay outrageous rental fees for some place you’ll never own. Go into debt and in many cases spend years paying off student loans. Yeah, sounds like a good time. The habit should be if parents have room, stay home, save your money and allow your parents to help build that generational wealth. Pay a small rent to help out a little if you want to and your parents accept it. Some people , if they can marry and stay with their family, at least for a few years. This builds a stronger bond with parents and grandparents. The way the last 40 or 50 years has gone has destroyed family and their are many reasons why. Some of the European traditions are smart and we should never have turned away from them

Nations competing for power and status has been what the history of the world has been mostly about. There are those that are obsessed with competition and are willing to die for power and status. This is the strongest motivation for the innovation, production and exchange of goods and services and is also why the best competitors cannot trust each other and feel the need to deceive, fool, cheat, spy and lie to each other and causes them to build weapons that can basically kill most of the life on this planet and damage most of the environment that can sustain life. \n \nMany nations are comfortable with their lower levels of power and status performance and do not think allocating more resources to move up the ladder will be of much benefit. \n \nPresently, if the economy is not growing, it is considered a failure. This type of thinking cannot go on uninterrupted on a finite planet with finite resources. There needs to be flexibility in the system for the economy to expand and contract and for a contraction to be considered normal and not a problem or a failure. The contraction needs to be just as prosperous and productive as the expansion. For this type of thinking to work, there needs to be some new economic theories and models developed along with some new types of money and financial systems based on economic sustainability not on economic growth and money inflation. \n \nI am sure there will be some Nobel prizes awarded to the academics, economists, corporate CEO's and business leaders and of course politicians and government officials that can figure out how to make a sustainable economy work and how not to devalue the nation’s money in the process.\n \nThe way this can begin and improve peace and fairness at the same time is when our business and government leaders along with our brightest and smartest among us including the most wealthy among us can learn to be much more truthful, honest and trustworthy and can start to understand that the wellbeing of others benefits everyone and is the bases for morality.

You know what, I’m an immigrant too. I came to America in 1988 from a communist country to have a better life and have religious freedom. But it took us more than 5 years, if not more, to get approved and jump every hurdle, every flaming hoop, and else they asked us to do, BUT, WE DID IT! Why do people think it’s ok to be able to come here illegally when others have to Jump through hoops to get here? As someone from Asia who lives with a comfortable life I guess I’m privileged enough than most people who live on the other part of the world. But still, I can never understand why people force themselves illegally. They can just go through legal process, I’m sure there are other ways. This will never happen here in our part of the world. I live in the DMV. It’s a very diverse area but there’s a lot of neighborhoods that are segregated but I’d argue that it’s more of an economic issue. It’s visibly noticeable as soon as you hop on the metro. Start on the orange line on the VA side, the crowd is bright. But if you stay on long enough, go through DC and end in MD, it gets dark. Seriously why ??? You make your parents to spend their fortune so you can live like a beggar in a developed country. You don't wanna go there with your merits, then you deserve this embarrassing life. This is why Canada wants all the immigrants to come work here so they can drain all their income in taxes to pay for all the old people draining the system. They need workers at low paying jobs to work double hrs. paying double taxes to pay for senior's health care etc. They are also consumers who will have to spend what's left of their pay cheques to just feed and clothe themselves. Leaving so little left to actually do anything with. As a 5th generation Canadian I have struggled all my life to just keep food and home to live and raise my kids on very little. Now due to what has happened in Canada and the economy, inflation, skyrocketing housing prices, my kids will never be able to own a home in their own country. It's sickening. Canada is cold. Canada is not fun. Least fun because of all the rules on everything. Taxes and fees on everything. There used to be much more fun and things were much more relaxed in the 70's and 80's but now it has changed so much that I'm starting to hate my own Country, my province and the Canadian leadership at this time is the worst in history. And get this: I'm so poor I couldn't even afford to move around or travel in my own damned country! We don't even have a universal transit bus system to travel anymore. YOu have to have a car or fly but be damned if you can hop the old Greyhound and go from Vancouver to Toronto anymore and save a few bucks. It's sick and dysfunctional here.

This video is spot on! My parents and I immigrated to Canada when I was in high school and I loved it at the time. My parents always complained about work and money and wanted to go back to India but I didn't understand why they were so negative. After I started working, I moved to the US to pursue more work opportunities and now I have been living here for the past 10 years. I always consider moving back to Canada since my family and friends are there. However, I don't see myself doing so for some of the reasons you mentioned in the video: high cost of living, overwhelmed health care, and the cities are a bit boring for living or traveling. The US is by no means perfect and has a lot of the same issues that Canada does (high cost of living, taxes, healthcare) and its own set of problems (crime, uneven school quality, political divides). However, for the time being it's a better fit for me which is why I continue to stay here. Ultimately I feel that everyone's experience is a bit different and they have to go through their own priorities to figure out if a move to Canada makes sense. This video is super helpful in providing context for people who are considering moving though!

This is your opinion author. The thing is same everywhere. You can make joy everywhere you want. You can make friends.. good neighbours... it is totally up to you. I want to leave my home country bcs of low salary, corruption, no gas, no electricity in winter... I want to live in a country where there is fairness, development, best education for my children etc. Why are you not leaving USA or Canada where you are living now? If you’re questioning why you have to pay higher taxes when you earn more, think about refunding the benefits you had when you weren’t earning as much\n\n2 - 8 hours in an ER is not an emergency, if there’s a life threatening incident, you get the medical care you need\n\n3 - Quality living costs money everywhere in the world, you get what you’re willing to pay for. There are $35 phone plans & you can use public transportation & skip car insurance and maintenance. Oh god this is sooo sad to see and very misleading,Indian universities are as good or even better than some Canadian and US unis, also dont forget countries like Russia, Poland, Czech trust me guys, universities there are much much harder and better knowledge is provided. An American and Canadian students will find it very difficult to pass the exams in those countries compared to their own. \nSo I dont understand why Indians dont go to those EAST EU countries or stay in India, the best Medical unis,IT,engineering, Architecture, bio chemistry and many more are actually in India and east European countries including Russia.
