Hello from Germany We have very good political programs on television here. “Markus Lanz” is currently running. I believe that German citizens are much better informed about the domestic political situation than American citizens. And what is happening in America should be deeply concerning to the American people. In our assessment, the American administration under Trump, Vance and Musk is transforming the USA into an authoritarian state run by American oligarchs in which there is no democracy, freedom of speech or freedom of expression, information controlled by the state, fake news, etc. America is in great danger domestically.

That’s the question “WHAT IS THIS REALLY ABOUT” there is something very wrong going on here! This current ?leading our country straight into hell has reasons far beyond fent! We will purchase Canadian goods whenever possible to support your econony over our own. We will do more if it is required. I just don't know what is exactly we are doing. Our economy is showing decline and we are losing our friends. So what is the expected end game here?

I’m a Canadian and no fan of Prime Minister Trudeau. It’s unfortunate the best speech he ever gave was after he resigned as Prime Minister. What he has said in this speech is absolutely true, despite the fact, I think Trump is doing some good things for the USA. This Terrif war with your neighbour is stupid. Unfortunately for us in Canada our Prime Minister has not given us the tools and freedom to grow economically and prosper the way we should have. Canadians should be living like Kings, but unfortunately are living paycheque to paycheque because of the stranglehold that our Prime Minister has put on businesses and its citizens. Now Canada has very little leverage, I believe to fight this Terrif war. Canada has become a pure Cradic nightmare, like the previous administration in the United States were overtaxed over regulated and spend money like drunken sailors on stupid things that don’t help us grow and prosper.

This is phantastic. This is a harsh and direct response! I would have wished that the German (almost Ex-) chancellor Scholz would have reacted the same way after Putins attack on Ukraine in 2022. Dangerous moves need immediate and harsh responses ! Trudeau is a very good president!

What have you done? You liberated us from the Nazis in WWII just to vote for their American counterpart less than one century later. WHY? \n1. The USA starting expanding NATO even though we said we would NOT (Thank Clinton)\n2. We did it again even though Russia said please don't (Thank Bush)\n3. Putin supposedly meet with a international group of news reporters to complain about. (I never heard that in the News did you?)\n4. We then said we were considering to except Ukraine into NATO. (Kinda like a Russian version of our Cuban Missile Crisis)\n5. Russia's Military is not equal so cant use that against threat but Russia is very good at Internet attacks. (2016 Russia attacked our Election and got Trump Elected)\n6. We did pretty much nothing about Russia attacking our Election, and they continued to attack our election in 2020 and 2024 (Why do you think Trump favors Russia)\n7. I am a Canadian living in the states and, Living very good off of what I get from the states for I have not worked in 27 years because of an injury. The U.S.A. has been better to me than the country I am a citizen of Canada. All my life my very large family in Canada come here to the states and goes home with the bumper or trailer hitch hitting the ground for it would be overloaded with products from the states because it cost so much less here.

If anyone has kept up with Canada and Trudeau’s policies they know he has crippled Canada’s economy. This is a reciprocal tariff , why should they have tariffs on U.S. and U.S. not have any on them. Seems fair, Americans don’t need Canadas goods and have been overly charitable towards them. Very good theatre performance ?

It is very simple, just like Donald Trump is, he puts the tarifs on products, so live for people get even more expensive, then after a while he will change his mind and the tarifs wil disapear and products gets cheaper again. THEN he will proudly say that he took care of the high prices. This all he will do to show he was right that he would take care of the Americans and lower the prices and 80% of them will believe it and will say that he made good on his promise. This is the art of the deal.
