Why didn’t we just keep the status quo. The country is not diverse. It’s segregated. Look at Richmond in BC, Surrey, and Brampton. This isn’t diversity it’s a home away from home.

Shame on current Govt that it took so long and now housing industry, price gauging and illegal basements in Garages should be fixed by local governments. I have filed numerous complaints with the City of Mayors office here in Surrey, BC but no one really cares.

I work for the BC provincial government, and part of my job is to hunt for homes to house women who are escaping violence. After spending 3 months searching for homes in Surrey, I've seen anywhere between 10-22 individuals living in a modest sized home. These homes are often very well run-down, have poor plumbing, and many illegal suites, and I've literally seen people sleeping in closets. Landlords can get away with this because the students from India don't care, don't have a choice, or are used to this standard. What the federal government is doing is unbelievable, allowing many people into the country. Just because international students come from places where they can sleep on top of each other doesn't mean they should allow it to happen here, reducing the living standards for everyday tax-paying Canadians. Despicable.

Yes. If you want to see it to believe it, come to Surrey, BC. There are so many brown students on the buses that you’ll have to wait 1-2 hours for an 80-person bus that has a space. Plus all the jobs are being taken, and I’m seeing so many homeless people on the streets now. No shelter space, and there won’t be maybe ever. All the parks are completely filled with tent cities. This is a huge disaster, bad enough that Trudeau should be removed from office.

I live in Canada I recommend you to visit Surrey BC in Canada once again if you see the crowd of Surrey and all people there are Punjabi you will be shocked because in Surrey there are really less Canadians in my school also 80% of the people are immigrants and the less 20% are Canadians

Toronto has never defined the identity of Canada but Asia ( China, India ) . Same for VAncouver .. Ontario and BC have the 10 most dangerous cities in CAnada ( Statistics Canada, most dangerous cities) . # 1 Vancouver ( Surrey) , since Toronto has a big ego and includes cities as far as 130 km away , Toronto has the most high crime cities in CAnada , HAmilton, Brampton , London, Ste-CAtherines, Oshawa, Missisauga .... ALberta have also high crime cities , Red Deer, Lethbridge and Edmonton . Toronto is not a smart city ( high tech ) , the city just had no cell phone network in the subway ... One of 10 people depends on fodd banks in Toronto

EVERY country has racism.. and in Canada it is not usually the White people who are the most Racist.. Chinese and India-n people are very racist. Try going to Surrey and you will experience some Racist Indians. I live in the Prairies and it is definitely less racist than West Coast BC, Montreal and Toronto regions.

Racism. In Canada it's become equal opportunity racism, but Caucasians will still be forced to take the blame, 100%. As a Canadian Filipino, the racism directed towards me comes from the Chinese and Indian community. The experiences of my Caucasian wife depend on what community we happen to be in or travel to. She is as much a foreigner in Richmond BC or Surrey BC and subject to the same racism as others face.

This is why if you break down the income difference based on the countries of origin, black immigrants from countries with high education levels such as ones from Nigeria have a higher average income compared to the rest of the population, even though their skin is as dark as any black person. \n2. I suggest you visit Richmond BC, Surrey BC, or Vancouver Downtown, so many successful Asian and brown people there. In fact, white people are moving to suburbs since asian immigrants are buying up expensive realestate in big cities like Vancouver and Toronto. Still RaCiSM? \n3. Whites (especially white males) are the only group in Canada that can be openly discriminated against in hiring and school applications, as diversity quotas require a minimal number of women and non-whites to be chosen, over whites (and men)who may meet the criteria. Everyone needs to be treated equally, and solely based on their abilities and qualifications. \n\nAnyone with a half a brain can see that it is better to be a non-white person in Canada right now than other way around. And I am an Asian myself saying this.

I hope you don't underestimate Europe's existing problems when i went to London 4 years ago i was shocked that it wasnt the place i imagined it to be no need to explain im sure you understand what i mean. Im an Asian immigrant, but i wasnt expecting that i couldnt even see a caucasian in London mostly arabs, blacks, indians, some asians i do not hate it but im just confused i worked in the middle east for 10 yrs and i was hearing arabic speaking everywhere, also asian language its like im in Vancouver or Surrey area. I thjnk its not an isolated problem probably your new to that place thats why you do not see the problems yet but i hope you made the right decision. All the best. The tax is really quite high but the Canadain government though with some flaws is still better than most countries believe me i have lived in Asia, middle east and been to places and met all kinds of people. One thing that seperates Canadian from most other nationalities despite the different ethnicities and races Canadians are generally nice and less violent and id rather have my kids grow up here than any part of the world. I'm a Canadian, and can comfortably state that Canada's reputation was cemented in the early seventies, and anyone choosing to come here based on that reputation, does so under false pretences. The majority of the immigrants I have come into contact with quickly become disillusioned with Canada, and eventually feel compelled to leave. The cost of living, combined with a lack of opportunities, and low wages, means that leading a normal life here is largely out of the question. Crime is a huge problem in BC, as Vancouver has become the de facto money laundering centre for North America. As a result, Canada is now extremely attractive for all the wrong reasons. At present, Canada is experiencing internal mass migration patterns driven by economic necessity, as the cost of living is prohibitively expensive in most urban centres. There is also a corresponding mass migration pattern of those who were born here away from the major cities, as Canada now lets in 500K, largely unvetted, immigrants into the country each year, most of whom are from war-ravaged, or third world, countries. With so many disparate languages and cultures from all over the world, it makes life utterly chaotic. The different nationalities never mix, and there is no effort expended to integrate with the Canadians who were born here. The Chinese live in Richmond, the East Indians in Surrey, and they have NOTHING to do with each other. Having traveled abroad, it's shocking how primitive it is in Canada. My advice to anyone thinking of coming here: Would you buy a ticket for a cruise on a ship that has a massive hole under the waterline?

In surrey BC Sikh people are most respected and get first dibs on jobs etc... White People are the minority and are treated like ghosts

You are wrong, Brampton doesn’t have the largest Indian population in Canada. It’s actually “Surrey BC”. In fact, Surrey has the highest population of Indians outside of India

This is nothing... Go visit Surrey or Abbotsford in BC, Canada. Largest population of East Indians outside of India. I do have a few issues... if it's a multicultural country then come on Canada, letting in more of one race over another is unfair and unwanted. I don't want to see Chinese and East Indians making up the entire population of Canada in 50 years. I also want to say FUCK the relaxation of motorcycle helmet laws for Sikhs. They made a fool of Canada when they did this. Seems like they don't have a problem wearing a helmet when playing ice hockey. Not to mention they look ridiculous riding a Harley while wearing a turban. I am insulted as a Canadian how east Indians try to exploit or change Canada's laws. Oh and let's not talk about the gang violence brought on by the east Indians in BC. Too bad Canada can't deport the parents who turned a blind eye to their sons illegal activities in gangs. The parents are completely to blame. Innocent people are being shot and killed in quiet neighbourhoods around Vancouver. I wish I could say nice things about east Indians but it's quite hard to.
