Misinformation. I know half a dozen people personally who have moved to Canada and several more who want to. The fact is it’s performing better in many metrics such as life expectancy, overall health and education than most of the world, including the USA.

Canada can't continue with this amount of immigration. Honestly, IMO, Canada should only be considering skilled immigrants, and importantly, immigrants who can speak either English or French articulately. Its almost like most of these factors are from a global connection/corporate greed issue, if both left and right wing governments are suffering from the same end results. Though, in my opinion the right wing has faired worse off (unless youre wealthy) comparing the performance of Canada to the UK. There's a solid reason why having now lived long enough in both places ive picked Canada to stay in.

Multi-culturalism is a failed concept. That being said, Canada needs skilled immigration. The biggest flaw in Canadian immigration is extended family based immigration and uncapped asylum immigration. The bar for skilled immigration should be really high. Labor immigration should always be temporary and rotational. You bring in labor, train them, make them work, find the best amongst them, promote them, integrate them and let go of the non-performing ones.

And people say India is racist . We cannot even perform what that racist did. I am sure nothing will happen as long as that Khalistani Justin is present.

That's definitely a responsibility of Canada's government and public schools themselves. You should never consider getting more and more students to this country if you don't have a clue how to manage this educational business properly. Moreover, the federal government should consider making better use of the existing budget to leverage AI models to do this job if nobody can tell how many students those public schools are able to accommodate for the next academic year. Today's AI can perform better than people think they do in such a matter of computing. Let the professional do their job. You just input all your available resources as a number of parameters into the AI models, and in just a few seconds, they can tell you how many international students one province should accept.

Indians are most blends with the culture and customs of any migrating country! Naturally they do not have any agenda like others like communists, Islamist or Christians or any religious duties etc. This is the one of the main reasons Indians shine and successful wherever they go and perform best, loyal and real Value to host countries. Indians - particularly those who follows native faith & culture are very smart, patient and very tolerant - may look simple and failing but they are the one going to rule the world with their brain, ahimsa and hard work!

As a doctor in Turkey, I can say that some people decide what disease they have by looking on the internet or talking to their neighbors or friends. I'm really tired of this ignorance. I don't know what doctors experience in Canada. The most important part when diagnosing a disease is the patient's complaints, history of complaints, chronic diseases, whether there is a similar disease in his family, and physical examination. Tests normally do not have much significance in diagnosis. We perform tests mostly to support our diagnosis and to follow the course of the disease. The most important part is the history and physical examination. Diagnosing themselves is nothing but ignorance. This is not what we want.

Canada is suffering because of bad leadership. The government is unable to step in in housing, because that would mean lowering the global value of it. Unable to step in in services, because it is stuck with unions that support laziness instead of competences and performances. Unable to step in in anything because it is controled by a literal mafia that totally surrounded the government and pull the strings of every ministers who are no longer there for the people they represent, but afraid of being killed by those mafiosies. \n\n So the honest worker is mostly doing 32k a year with charges that are about 30k a year. That means most people are going paycheck to paycheck, unable to afford savings, nor think about retirement. Unable to afford to improved their housing situation, paying rent that is so high that it should be consider a crime. \n\nIn fact, i predict many landlord will be killed in the coming years, by people losing their mind, because of incredible amount of stress they are suffering from. You think i am joking? Just the last 2 days, 2 woman lost their life because of being beaten to death by their husband... \n\nThis country is failing and failing fast because it doesn't take care of its population anymore... it is a doom country and immigration was the nail in the coffin. The system is unable to sustain such a demand. The next year is gonna see an incredible rise in criminality, and i foresee mass murdering events, like there was in the US.

When politicians are elected based on name recognition, good look, popularity & good talker instead of merit based on past performances, you’re expecting too much from them to manage a country effectively & wisely with problems more complex than a brain surgery.

When you’re brining millions of people from countries that are heavily underperforming , they bring their poor habits , culture and mindset to our country. Canada is quickly becoming the country they are trying to “save” those people from. By bringing more immigrants from third world countries, Canada is quickly getting that third world feel. What happens when you give people with third world mentality the opportunity to perform in decision making roles in your job sector, there would be a quick culture shift and that shift in culture is generally to eastern norms, the very reason they are fleeing those countries to migrate to a western society. Yes I said it, Canada is slowly but surely becoming like a eastern crap hole.

I stopped visiting Canada 40 years ago because of insane or corrupt border control policies. I traveled to Canada from California to record an album for a popular rock star. My crew number 4 people and we had reserves a month for basic tracking in a studio there. We bought our own reels of 3 inch wide recording tape because the studio wanted twice the rate as normal and since my studio was a distributor for the mastering tapes we brought from my own inventory. Each reel of tape was 3 lbs and brought 30 reels. We got to customs and they said we owed money for importing the tape. Normally a reel would have been $180, and customs wanted $38,000 x 20, and would not let us retrieve it to take it back to the US side of the border. How can a tape worth $180 suddenly have duty of $38,000?\nIt was explained to me as the Potential Value of the tape which meant AFTER a hit song was recording in it. Most recordings are total losses and the tape cant used on a new project even if properly bulk-erased. They expected me to pay on the spot $760,000 in duties. I gave up and left the tape with them. I called the artist and said we could not do the project in Canada and we went back to California. The artist came to us a few months later and the result was a minor hit, and probably barely made its production cost since the label only distributed it in Canada. I talked to an international trade lawyer about what happened and he said customs officials were wrong in Canada but they are given full latitude with no appeal so his advice was never take anything over the border that I did not mind being confiscated. Sometimes they would let it in because it was going back out in a month, but likely they sold it off and pocketed the money. The US is corrupt on a federal level but Canada is corrupt on the local level. I moved out of the US 24 years ago have a much higher quality of life than is even possible in the US, and live very cheaply. Total cost of living with a very active social and cultural life impossible to duplicate in the US which as some of the least options for culture. And my cost of living is $1500 a month, less than utilities alone for one house in California, and that is for 2 people. Last month for example I attended world class opera, ballet and symphonies 9 times, and went out to dinner, in jazz clubs or dance clubs, visited12 top museums, and it was still under $1500 for the month. A pair of tickets to the MET in NYC for lower grade performance, sets, orchestra ad theater, was $1800!! $600 for tickets to drama for 2. Here there 237 drama theaters within walking distance of my city center home, and can walk anywhere at any time of day and be safe due to VERY low crime rates. Free medical is good. I am not citizen but still I had an operation and 10 days in a vip single room for $5300 and despite my insurance I had been paying back in California $824.month, it was going to cost me out o pocket $500,000 and one day in a recovery 12 bed room, and require paid nursing attendant for 30 days. The results were great and was treated like king.\nCanadians have lost control of their government but Americas are screwed regardless, with lower than international standards for everything, with crime, corruption in Washington, extreme cost of living, no access to culture, few if any safe parks. My adopted city is not only far more beautiful than any US city, my GF can walk, alone, anywhere in a city of 7mil at any time of day through any of the 600 beautiful parks open 24/7..at 3am. There are no homeless, and 80% of those over 20yo own their home clear of debt. No college debt despite twice the % of people having degrees. The rest of the world caught up and has surpassed the US and Europe in quality of life. \n\nI have only been back to the US 5 times in 24 years and each time I am shocked by how much the entire society has declined while most of the world outside of Europe, Canada, US, UK or Australia have dramatically improved.\nEvery year since 2008 more Americans leave the US to live elsewhere than legal immigrants arrive.

But why hasn't the Arab world taken action yet? After witnessing 66 days of slaughter of innocent human beings? The whole Muslim world, except Yemen, has no dignity whatsoever. All of these Govts can only speak,that too only some of them are doing. I just wonder how everyone of us is going to answer Allah about each and every innocent life lost, injured and displaced. Just look at our faith, that has weakened to the point that more than 2 billion Muslims feel helpless about the situation. It is obligatory on each and every one of us to perform Jihad and protect the people and land of Falasteen with every drop of blood and bone we have, but we can only say words. This is why we must carry on with the boycott religiously, with regards to whatever we can boycott, except social media ofcourse. And we, as in Muslims must look for ways to pressure our govts to help Falasteen. We must help them financially too. May Allah make us stronger in our faith in Him, provide us with opportunities, strength and courage so that we can all unite together properly to pressurize our govts to make use of our military resources for the reason Allah blessed us with them. The quality is actually not better in the US. Despite hospitals charging significantly more than other first world countries, America’s healthcare system actually performs worse in several areas including infant mortality but also in overall life expectancy. \n\nPatients are their customers. They want sick or hurt people, and the longer you stay in their hospital, the more they can charge you. Like, it’s pretty obvious that if you have a system where the worse a population’s health is, the greater the revenue, you’re going to have a conflict of interest.

I am sikh and i love all my hindu brothers. My village has mata mandir, shiv mandir, hanuman ji mandir, bhairav nath mandir, peer dargah and gurdwara. We attend all the occasions in every mandir too. 1. Canada's immigration is primarily skilled labour. Non- skilled labour is imported mostly from the Carribean countries especially Jamaica and you have to leave every year and come back in the next. So, that can be disruptive, but I've met Jamaican's who've been on those programs and done well as well as those who haven't.\n2. If you come to Canada illegally utakipata. Be prepared to hustle for long.\n3. Since Covid everything has become very expensive especially housing. \n4. The videos you've shown of people sleeping outside is because of an increase in the influx of refugees wanting to come to Canada. Refugee shelters are allocated money in the budget for what the Govt estimates will be the number of refugees they'll take in, but there's been an influx lately.\n- A point to note though, ALL refugees Canada received from Ukraine had jobs within 2 months. Why? very skilled labour.\n- Canada's refugee policy is much more lenient than in the US and thus most refugees have been coming to Canada even from the US. The US ones have since been blocked by an agreement signed by both countries.\n5. Are there jobs in Canada? YES, but they require certain skills. The good thing is that once you get one, its the beggining of good fortunes.\n6. If you have skilled qualifications, be prepared to start at a lower level than you are used to and claw your way up. Just don't expect to start where you left off. A Nigerian friend of mine who had performed several surgeries in Nigeria could not be hired until he went back to get certified here in Canada. He has since joined the medical field after going back to school.\n\nAll in all, research, research, research before you make any move.

This is profoundly unfair review and comparison. How many in Nigeria receiving $1000/month salary? When did “time is money” became unacceptable? Maybe that’s one of the reasons the country not prospering because many are lazy and don’t perform their job? Where in this world the system pays you more money than you can handle? Why not give a specific example of that “systemic discrimination/racism”. Why is wanting to know your performance at work discriminatory? Why not be honest that there’s different approach to healthcare professionals in Canada? My question is why he’s not going back to Nigeria? People that are doing VERY WELL in Nigeria don’t ever think of leaving the country. They send their kids to study abroad and pay huge for that. All I can say as a Canadian is why would anyone want to move to the USA.The more I learn the more I love where I live the USA is a hot mess and watching the kind of people that you elect is mind boggling . Why would anyone support a bottom feeder like Donald Trump to run their country. You don't have to be a scholar to realize this man is beyond corrupt and a really bad person. Who in the world other than a 12 year old, makes up names for people and whine all the time just watching this man perform is an eye opener and as a Canadian I'm embarrassed for Americans.
