Unfortunately, i think that trump (he does not deserve un upercase) dreams of becoming like putin. All that he is doing, everything in his language and actions screams dictator. I think that putin dreams of having the entire Europe to himself and that trump will actually want everything around the USA which includes ofc, Canada. That was their deal. I don't understand why americans are standing by just watching things unfold. It will not get better, this can only and will get worse. Sooner than they think they will find themselves trapped under these people, with no rights. It is really hard when you are already there to actually go back to democracy.

I effectively spent a chunk of my childhood in America with relatives. I treasured these memories, but now all the feelings of wonder and happiness when thinking of my visits to America have faded. Now I just think of how selfish it was to sabotage Canada. American private equities want to rock our system and buy up all they can and so I am happy we are watching for this. I think Donald did this to try and buy up Canadian companies. This should be made illegal. I am willing to suffer for up to pull the plug on all resources and energy going to America “suddenly” do they have no time to adapt and collectively suffer. I'm sorry our Canadian's fellows, this is not personal, it's just business. All this year the USA economy has been decreased because we buy (importing) more goods than selling (exporting). We are no in good shape economically to support other countries' economies. We need companies to come back to produce in the USA and those extra charges are an incentive to start producing again in the USA. After our economy is better, we can make new deals. \nAbout Fentanyl, it is funny that he said that it was all good and after that, saying just in the last months implemented all kinds of security measures. President Trump doesn't care. The US has been subsidizing Canada's electrical grid for over $250 million dollars a year. Canada will loose that. In addition, US automotive industries like stellantis are moving productions back to the US from Canada. Canada has been charging the US dairy products 250% in tariffs, US Bourbon and whiskey 180% for over 4 years. China has been charging Ford 200% tariff so much so that ford can no longer afford to sell their vehicles in China.....all these outrageously high tariffs were designed to protect their domestic products.... China was suposed to spend 4 billion dollars a year in US goods but they have been consistently spending only 1.9 billion each year . Trade deficit of over 2 billion dollars. What sane person would allow this to happen in a free market and call this fair trades????? I have no knowledge of this until recently.

As an American Donald Trump was a mistake. It's time for the American people to wake up and admit their mistakes. An inflated ego is not good. All these years US has a trade deficit of 1 trillion dollars every year. With tariffs we could have recovered 250 billion every year. That is a lot of money. Currently every American owes $110,000 because of the accumulated debt of 36.5 trillion.\n\nJustin, how long are we supposed to bend back wards while US has a trade deficit of trillion dollar over the past 20 years. I can't bealive how dumb US liberals are, US literally has one of the highest reserve of oil and natural gas, US used to sell oil to Japan, India and many other countries when trump was last time in office but Biden distroyed that by banning the drill. 70% of import from canda to US is oil and natural gas which they don't need they just have to switch on those machines again which they already did and in few weeks they will not just ful fill their own need bul aslo start selling gas to Japan and India as trump promised in last meeting with them, and rest 20% import from Canda is electricity, they used to busy that electricity just to bypass the Paris climate aggrement of having green electricity, biden insted of building green electricity industry he choosed to buy those from Canada and last rest 10% left which is $15billion for economy like US this much money is peanuts and 30% tarrife on that will have nearly no impact.

I support Trump and I support MAGA. However a president needs to keep his word and Trump appears to have broken his word here. He asked Canada to reign in illegal immigration to the US and Canada complied. He said do something about fetanyl and Canada did. Trump said the tariff's were because Canada was not acting on these but now they have and we imposed the tariff's anyway. We look like liars and cheats. \nEven with Mexico we threatened tariffs if they didn't help with crackdown on illegal immigration, fetanyl, and drug cartels. Mexico complied and is also helping us. As an AMERICAN here, I want all of our neighbors to know we love you all but it is time we stop being the most visited, sold to, ridiculed, laughed at, and highest debt country in the world. What everyone forgets is that the us was the leading exporter in the world just a century ago. No one wants to destroy another country. Satisfied in his victorious battle against the nuns - 9 of whom had been hospitalized for critical injuries including the 92 year old Mother Superior who suffered massive brain bleed, swelling and concussion due to the excessive force of the power hose and an 87 year old nun who lost permanent sight in one eye due to the pepper spray - Trump had the nerve to pose for a publicity shot in front of the church while holding a Bible - UPSIDE DOWN - and scrunching and contorting his face into that hideous trademark scowl he does ever so naturally. This is the man my fellow Americans chose to represent our nation as President - a man who beats up 90 year old nuns and imposes 25% tax hikes to our ONLY FRIEND in the entire world simply for refusing to accept his invitation for statehood.
