I don't understand why the land of the free America has launched a trade war on its allies whilst sucking up to a murdering gangster in the Kremlin - I applaud Trudeau on his powerful speech against the malignant orange blob in the Oval Office - We in Europe back Canada against a MAGA fascist regime - We will boycott US business in solidarity with Canada - The EU & the UK will support you - The land of the free is not the USA.

Trump wants to break the Canadians in order to ultimately force the annexation of Canada into the United States. This is the main goal of this trade war, since the USA cannot start a traditional war with Canada like Putin did.

I'm European and I really can't understand how you can make an economic trade war with an ally like Canada, a close and so friendly neighbor.... A dumb decision not only for the W Post... The reason for this 'trade war' is not about 'trade'. It's about 'creating chaos' so that president Trump is the 'centre' of world attention. As a US citizen, who voted for Trump three times, i never thought id agree with Trudeau. \nThe US cannot win a trade war, the US versus the world.
