What’s this? Friends don’t overcharge their friends.. they should be fair. it’s a two way process. Grow up.
2025-03-04 0
Wes Clark is a smart man, and he doesn't understand this process. Russia is now the USAs strongest ally. Weird.
2025-03-04 0
it's sad to see a dumb Orange meatsack (Trump) ruining relations with allied countries and in the process burning the whole world along it—greetings from Aruba. We stand with you Mr. Trudeau, Mexico, the UK, and Europe.
2025-03-04 0
I so hope whoever replaces Trudeau will follow his lead in this movement. Trump doesn't want to lead America, he wants to dictate it. And he wants to take over Canada in the process.
2025-03-04 0
So clear, on point, and forthright! So beyond trumps thought process!

Maybe he should discuss the constant duty fees and border crossing fees for anything shipped from Canada to the USA that have been constantly rising for years; fees that his very own government sets. Maybe he should talk about Canada demanding that anyone that sells anything foodwise to anyone in Canada from the USA has to have a special Safe Food For Canadians Food License or the goods being shipped will be rejected at the US owners cost, seized by the border and held in storage at the US owners cost, and destroyed and billed to the US owner. A license that no one actually needs considering other legal and ethical controls are in place to prevent unsafe foods from crossing the border, but Canada reserves the right to make us pay for one or we suffer consequences. Maybe he should discuss how they left their borders open to migrants, making it much easier for criminal migrants to get into the US. Maybe he should understand that the US has always been bleeding money to Canada on a trade level for about half a century with it getting much worse in the last decade because Canada's government are greedy. Before any of you come at me, keep in mind I work in the food ingredient industry as an order processing, logistics and customs & border crossing and have done so for 15 years. These tariffs were a long time coming and if any of you are on the inside of trade in the manner I am, then you know what I'm saying is true. The US is constantly paying additional tariffs by way of duty fees, customs fees, certain applied taxes (like there is literally a blueberry tax to ship US grown blueberries into Canada to prevent US blueberries from taking over the Canadian blueberry market). The blueberry tax is about 25cents per lb. which drives the price per lb. up for the seller and buyer. You wanna know why Food costs so much? All of the above with a huge side helping of GREED.

Trudeau is a piece of s*** the most Canadians hate even his wife left him and his party is in the process outing him should be gone in the next week. This idiot is not fit to run a hot dog stand.

Its the trump admins new world order. He gonna snuggle up to Putin while crippling his adversaries. Gonna cripple us in the process so we can't fight back.
2025-03-04 0
Thank you PM Trudeau for this speech. i hope my fellow Americans are listening-so we begin process for returning to truth, honesty, friendship with our allies, and an intelligent realistic president and government. A government which doesn't bow to Putin.
2025-03-04 0
Sir, I appreciate it, but you ain't gotta explain or apologize that you didn't want this. Our US government has lost its mind. What's worse, all the people that voted for that lunatic were brain washed into thinking this mess is good. I can't feel bad for the ones that are already suffering from the consequences. I always wondered how people fall for cult leaders. I know trump ain't a cult leader cuz he ain't that smart. He's a pedo throwing hissy fits and married to a porn chick, has a self-proclaimed couch screwer assistant, and he's leaning on the help of another idiot benefiting from government money, all the while imploding our government processes. This sucks.

Make no mistake, Canada faces an existential threat in Trump. Trump has accomplished the normalization of lies such that he can lie about Canada to justify what he does. And many millions in the USA believe him. just like the victim blaming of Ukraine. Trudeau is right that Trump is intent on weakening us and i would add: along the way creating false pretext for coming in and “saving” us from our tyrannical and dangerous government. validating Russian behaviour where might makes right is part of the process for validating his expansionist goals. He will no doubt claim “nasty” Canadian behaviour like “Canadians are killing Americans by not doing enough on fentanyl” and that Trudeau calling him Donald is “unforgivable”. And all the lies will appeal to his base and justify Annexation. It has come to that

I'm usually reasonable enough to realize that while I may disagree with many policy decisions, there's usually a relatively coherent line of thought to back said actions up. The problem here is that there’s no clear logic behind using tariffs as a tool to curb fentanyl trafficking or immigration. I'm not going to speak on the issue of immigration at the Canadian border because there simply is none. Yes, there are illegals from Canada, but almost 100% of them are from overstaying visas rather than crossing the border unlawfully. So let's talk about fentanyl. \n\nMost fentanyl in the US originates from China, often in precursor form, and is then processed in Mexico before being smuggled into the states. But it's typically trafficked in small, high potency quantities, often hidden in legitimate shipments or through mail, and only on very rare occasions is it being brought in by individuals crossing the border. It has _never_ been documented to have shipped in as part of large scale commercial imports, so a 25% tariff on legal trade with Canada and Mexico doesn’t directly target the black market supply chain at all.\n\nIf we take Trump’s reasoning at face value, the argument seems to be that he wants to exert economic pressure on Mexico and Canada as a means of having them crack down harder on drug trafficking networks. But the issue is that fentanyl simply isn’t coming in through mass import channels, so all this looks like is a punitive measure without a clear mechanism to actually achieve its stated goal. And the implications? Drastically higher costs for consumers in the US, Canada, and Mexico, with absolutely nothing to show for it.

Dear Canadians, As an American, I am so ashamed of our administration. They are an administration of liers, grifters and sycophants who have undermined our democracy. They are destroying our country and in the process undermining Democracies around the world. You have been our closest ally for 200 years and I am happy to have lived in Detroit and spent so many trips to your wonderful country. Please hold on until we can get to our midterm 2026 elections and remove the sycophants that have allowed this criminal enterprise to infect us.

No, the real reason is because Trudeau is a New World Order operative hell bent on imposing a fascist state upon his people as well as the Biden Harris Administration was in the process of doing.America is aware. They are aware of your role as well.

Let me explain the trading relationship briefly that occurs between Canada and the US for context. \n \nCanada Has a LOT of natural resources, more than our domestic manufacturing base needs (Uranium fuel, Lumber/paper products, Steel and other metals, Fertilizer for farms...etc). Therefore we sell those raw materials to the states where they are manufactured into goods, which we then buy back. a LOT of American service companies like tech, media (And yes, even banks)...etc also operates in Canada as well. (For the auto sector the parts flip back and forth across the border like 8 times) \n \nThis relationship alone has the American economy see a large trade surplus with Canada, however there is another element to it: Energy. \n \nCanada is also home to a LARGE amount of really cheap renewable hydro power in the east, and a LOT of oil in the west, due to a lack of infrastructure we really can only sell that oil to the states and therefore it is done at a discount. America refines this cheap oil into gas and is a large part of the reason why American gas is so cheap. They use this energy to power the same factories mentioned above. (Oh and also the NE states import a lot of that clean hydro electricity for the same reasons) \n \nThe US Buys SO MUCH of that cheap energy from us to power your industrial base, that it swings the numbers on the trade balance into a small deficit for the USA. (41 billion out of a TRILLION dollars total trade, or about -4.1% of total trade so literally a pretty small deficit) It also swing back and forth every year so \n \nThen comes Trump. He wants Canada as a 51st state and own the entire continent, therefore he manufactures an excurse that our border is leaky and that migrants and fentanyl are flowing over. (In actual case migrants and the flow of Fent is about 1% the amount that's crossing at the Mexico border but he needs an excuse) \n \nHe therefore puts 25% tariffs on us. Those tariffs will hit Canada harder than the 2008 financial crisis just for scale. \n \nOh and also for the most part American Refineries literally cant process any other oil than ours or Venezuela's because its thicker so tariffs on our oil will also really increase the priced of energy in the states by a huge amount just for the LOLs. As we've seen during the post covid recovery, since gas is priced in to the supply chain at every step (Manufacturing, transportation...etc), any increase at the pump will snowball into higher costs for everything at the store, on top of the extra cost of the tariffs on consumers. (Since every step will need to add it into their markup.)

Thank Mr. Trump for this disaster and its insulting attitude toward our friend and ally Canada….this is who we voted into office…..a sad day in US history! Trump acts on impulse ….on almost everything….no thought process…..no discussion with his “Yes” cabinet of puppets who rubber stamps everything Trump wants. The Prime Minister is spot on…..but Mr. Trump is unable and unwilling to act like an adult.

President Trump is guilty of treason at the highest level and is in process of destroying the USA economically, politically and tainting democracy. The “American Dream” has become the “American Nightmare.”
2025-03-04 0
Speak slower when you talk to him so that his small brain can process it.
2025-03-04 0
From Kenya I stand with Canada❤❤\nTrump is Putin's puppet!\nAre you sure Trump is mentally stable. His decision making process is questionable.\n\nI stand with Ukraine❤️?

The problem is that they have compromised the vote tallying machines. No matter how many votes are for normal candidates, it will subtly change or drop votes so the MAGA candidate will win. Check out Election Truth Alliance (EPA), they have done analysis of Votes from Clark County, NV (they provide granular detail on votes. Other counties, states are being processed now) and have found a lot anomalies that show manipulation. The same manipulation is found in Georgia (the country) and other places where Russia has been meddling. The results always stay under the threshold that would require a recount and audit. The phenomena is called the Russian Tail, you can guess why. It's statistical stuff so it's dry, can be hard to understand, and isn't an easy sexy concept to explain. Educate yourself, be aware that it is a problem that has to be dealt with as the next round of elections come up.

Is there no one at CNN who can translate French? Really? I'm American, and I'm hoping Trudeau announces that he's making trade deals with Europe (and even China) that cut us out. Betraying our allies should never be incentvised. I'm even hoping they cut off our oil, which WILL jack gas prices, since our refineries in the Midwest are only deisgned to process Canadian crude. And the truth is that the reason for the tariffs is that Trump has direct control over them, and can probably have Elon do something with the revenue that couldn't be done with normal taxes. We're all getting screwed here.

Very good summary. I will add that our I know you wanted to be concise and you nailed it. For anyone who is curious about how our politics make everything worse for us federally, let me explain it in a short time.\n\nTrudeau as of the day of this video, March 3, 2025, is STILL the PM. He said he WOULD resign once a new leader was picked through a democratic process. Right now, he's basically just doing photo ops in Ukraine, UK and anywhere else on our dime because Parliament is prorogued and the party in power, Liberal, is having a leadership race. So, while he may resign within the week once that leadership race is done, he's still technically in charge.\n\nWhat makes that race and the PM's prorogation so bad is that we're in the middle of a crisis - several actually - caused in part directly by Trudeau and his Liberals (and the NDP supporting them). The latest would be Trump's tariffs starting today, March 4, 2025. Trudeau always disappears during a crisis, leaving us to fend for ourselves - (1) COVID, he was at the cottage using every excuse not to be accountable for anything or using unconstitutional powers to crush a protest he didn't know how to handle, (2) Chinese spies, he's ignoring our intelligence service, (3) federal worker strike, he's in NYC at some gala.... I could go on but there's a reason we're hurting so bad.\n\nWe have zero federal leadership, and a federal government that makes things worse for us with things like: over-regulation, subsidizing media to keep us misinformed, nerfing select natural resource sectors but favoring others (oil and gas suffer, while coal is fine... probably because we sell it to China, but I digress), letting criminal out of jail, uncontrolled immigration, passing policies like the FHSA that drive home prices higher and higher, and of course, more and more taxes. I could go on about the billions in taxpayers' money the government blows - it's like a black hole - or the fact that MPs keep getting raises - April 1 is their fifth since COVID - and most federal and government employees are all getting raises at a time when the rest of us are learning to get by with less and less because we're taxed so much and housing, groceries, etc. are so unaffordable.\n\nI have applied for US citizenship. I want to stick around to fix Canada, but I think it's too far gone. We have too many socialists/communists in power and they're not getting voted out any time soon. It's been fun Canada, it's been fun.

What do you mean betrayed? India was exploiting this process and sending sub par students with fake education and language certificates. I have seen first hand some students can’t even string a sentence in English. Also UK, US and Australia will never take these students. Genuine students are always welcome!

There WAS a process to enter legally. But these white racist we have in office now ain’t letting anyone into this country that ain’t white. And that’s the fact of the matter.

Our city governments need to liberalise the housing market, in most cities across Canada it's illegal to build anything other than single family homes. When the developers eventually do push through a multi family building, they have to build a mega tower to offset the costs of the often 2 years approval process. Which makes people hate development more

My wife is Indian. It took her 15 yrs, having to learn America's history and culture, and over $10,000 to migrate here legally. No Indian who went through this process feels sorry for these guys.

Most illegal migrants spend thousands of dollars to commit the crime (entering any sovereign country illegally is simply an invasion). If they dare to enter China or any of the Arab countries this way, then who knows, they would be in heaven or hell rather than back home. All the deportees should be arrested on reaching back home for invading a foreign sovereign country and tarnishing the images of hundreds of millions of citizens of their countries who enter the USA or any other developed democratic country to study at the best of the universities, and after completion of the courses, they are not only provided the best of the jobs but also citizenship or other legal status to stay put in the countries. But these people reach their desired destination after going through rigorous educational and other processes and after a thorough background check. But in the matter of illegal immigrants, how are the victimized countries supposed to know their backgrounds? How can one be sure if they are not hardcore criminals, terrorists, spies, or even trained soldiers of enemy countries? In such uncertainty, how can the invaded countries be sure that an incident or incidents of such a large magnitude might not take place that, in comparison, the incident of 9/11 would look like the small incident of bursting firecrackers? But on one election promise, the president is, unfortunately, taking a complete U-turn that those students who do the master's and other higher studies should be retained and provided legal status to stay in the country as their contributions are needed to give the country the perpetual cutting edge in the highly competitive world and keep the country's status as number one. These scholars are feeling cheated that by spending huge amounts of money and contributing to the research and development during the studies, they have not only been taken for a ride but also become the main target of the deportation campaign as their status is available with the government. On the other hand, millions of undocumented workers are comparatively safe, as tracing and deporting them is not an easily achievable task. Besides, millions of foreign citizens are given entry into the country on flimsy grounds, and many of them do not even ever go to elementary school. I think even God would not be able to make out what the fuck this country has become on this issue. Almost the same is the situation with most of the EU countries, the UK, Australia, and Canada.

The official purpose of international students coming to Canada is to study, complete their education, and return to their home countries to contribute to their own societies. After gaining work experience in their own country, they can apply for legal immigration to Canada by going through the entire immigration process.
2025-02-26 0
This shows the typical ignorance about the immigration process. In real life , There is no “legal” process in place unless you have $ 5 million to “invest” !
2025-02-25 0
You know how to solve this issue? If they cant wait to go through the process of being legal to cross the border and live in the united states. Allow illegals to join the military. They can earn their rights and get all the paper work taken cared of by their service to this country. If he or she can go through training, serve in the military. Than they should earn the right for himself or herself and even their family rights to live in this country legal.
2025-02-25 0
The previous government always whined about what couldn't be done... well, anyone without legal entry documentation and due process is ILLEGAL and gets sent back home.
2025-02-24 0
Hey, Canada ?? is a big country ?? Trudeau knows what he's doing. Send them right back to Canada ?? don't even process them
2025-02-24 0
ROLAND IS A GREAT EXAMPLE HOW TO DEAL WITH THE ILLEGALS,,,, POLAND HAD THE PROBLEM AND NOW ITS GONE,, FOLLOW THE PROCESS.
2025-02-24 0
Impose a fine of 1 million US dollars on Canada for each undocumented that is caught coming in from across the border. Use it to pay for processing and deportation costs
2025-02-24 0
As a Canadian..i'll say this. Our country is a bad shape right now...and the countless 'extra' people, mostly indians, are not helping. We need immigration. I am not against it. But I am against illegal migration and resource sucking. There is no legit vetting process anymore. Countless indians are being given visas that were granted on bogus claims on their documents. Fake education records...fake employement records. Then they get their visa...and don't go 'home' when it expires. Then they have what indians like to call 'anchor babies'....so that their baby has Canadian citizenship and then they hope that pity will be taken and they, the parents, won't be shipped home. They don't assimilate and totally disregard our way of life. It is appauling.
2025-02-23 0
Canada eliminated visas for Mexicans under Trudeau for some time .. politicians are to blame and need rethinking of the entire process ?
2025-02-23 0
None of them have due process. They are not citizens. They are criminals
2025-02-23 0
For years they were going the other way at Roxham Road. Many more than 16000. So many infrastructure was set up to process them.
2025-02-23 0
Good grief!! And the previous administration let this happen? Mind-blowing! I arrived in the US legally from Canada and the entire process took 14 years, after I got my two undergrad degrees and a Masters! And worked for 7 years in my specialization, a needed area of expertise in the US.
2025-02-23 0
Apart from the people getting paid to keep these people, the plan for democrats was to give them a plan to make them citezens and then have them swing the voting process forever. 50m people came in illegally in the 4 years they were in office
2025-02-23 0
The core problem is not migrants crossing the Canadian border into the US illegally... It's the number of migrants being imported into Canada by its pink-socked tyrant and his Progressive cohorts.\n\nThe simple fact is that Canada is in desperate need of a mass deportation process that would make anything President Trump is planning pale in comparison. This would solve their rising crime, soaring unemployment, unbelievable housing shortage, and much, much more... INCLUDING the migrant spillover from Canada into the US.\n\nJust sayin'.
2025-02-23 0
I wish Canada would stop Illegal immigrants its ruining the world. Not against Legal process to help these people. Even the bible talks about Legal and the harms illegal can do.
2025-02-23 0
ICE has an opportunity. They are not refugees, it is about earning money, send money home to family.\nIf the bus is full of Illegals, take the bus strait to an ICE processing station.
2025-02-23 0
It was a rough process for NYC, but it reduced crime drastically. The general public is safer now even if the NYC people are offended.
2025-02-23 0
If trump really had any real balls, he would imprison every governor and mayor who impedes the process of removing illegals. Unfortunately; his balls have obviously shriveled up with age.
2025-02-23 0
Their crime syndicates are woven through their people with the attitude- try and sort it. Many stay involved to get that extra income. Others are forever paying off their price to come int as it's part of the deal. Then they disrupt the voting process to move governments into positions where the syndicates can and do thrive. ?
2025-02-23 0
Migrant Industrial Complex \nThe insidious nature of our government is that it rapidly creates industrial complexes for anything and everything. Then once the money incentives are in place it's turns into a runaway process that results in 20k Haitians living in small towns like Springfield OH. Which could've handled 1k at best. What's the point of one of these people coming 10 thousand miles just to live under an American bridge.
2025-02-23 0
This womman applied and was granted a green card and followed the legal process to citizenship.\n\nShe is obviously law abiding and learned english because she truly wanted to assimilate to her new country. \n\nShe still sees herself as a hyphenated american but that's totally fine, because she wants to hold on to her mexican roots. \n\nShe is for what's right , and legal , and doesn't condone family members entering the United States illegally. \n\nAnd understands what President Trump is doing.
2025-02-23 0
You're not doing back ground checks? Canada has a thorough screening process. I don't think Canada is your problem.
2025-02-22 0
What a BS question. When coubtries take i refugees it is NOT because they like the process of creating them in the first place! Israel is asking 'why dont you let us create refugees so you can take them in'? How abput not making refugees in the first place?
