I'm a born Canadian. I enjoyed growing up there on the lake. It was peaceful and beautiful. \nI joined a church and traveled alot in the country. I do love Canada as my place of birth and memories. \nThrough the church I married an American have been here 26 yr. Now. It has become so expensive there and too controlling. All my family is there so I think of them but I can't afford to buy anything there. I'm now married to Ghanaian considering moving there. I love the food and culture.

I couldn't agree with you more. Canada has become another one of those mindless Totalitarian states like American China, Russia, etc., etc. I spent 10 years in China working as a teacher. I went there because I was fed up in my country and when I returned it was worse than when I left. As I am now 68, if I can afford to leave again I will and I'll never return again. I told the Chinese who knew me I was returning because I missed the land, but I never really missed the people. Now that I'm back, since Jan. 2022, I want to leave again and I will and Never return. Health care in this country is in the Sh*t-house, it's impossible to get a family Dr. In part I returned for medical reasons, but now would rather die than have to deal the the Canadian medical bureaucracy - REALLY !!! So, trust me when I say I both understand you and agree with you.\nCanada has become a Sh*t-Hole treating both immigrants and Canadians like sh*t. I'll be glad to go once I can. North America, because of Canada and the US are going to hell in a hand basket. Both countries are FCUKed and I don't want to be a party to their descent into hell. The End.

Not sure how I came upon this video but I'm American that's lived here all my life. It's so incredibly lonely, even as an American. I wish I could find people that want to have friendships and community. People like me are out there looking for friends and would gladly welcome immigrants!

I disagree with your analysis, I'm Asian American and most of my friends are all different colors and races. Allot of us have a very active lifestyle, if your an indoor type of person then you will obviously prefer staying indoors. I think why most people want to immigrate to a America is economical and social freedoms. I'm sure it might be very exciting in Africa, but Its chaotic, lawless and economically depressed. But if that's what you rather have than I suggest you stay where you came from.

That is so true with the name. Ive gotten called for job interviews when both my friend and I have applied for the same job and at least twice ive been called for a job interview because my name is very North American even though I'm not.

When I got my DNA results back I have DNA from China, Indonesia, Myanma, Thai, Khmer, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, Madagascar and Native American, basically I'm much more of global citizen, even I look Chinese and a Canadian citizen. Maybe you should have your DNA test done, see where your root is from. We must stop racism, because we are all humanity from earth!

Hello, I just watched your video. Three years after you made it. I hope you are still with us and a very belated Welcome. Many people throughout the world seem to have so many stereotypes about Americans. Whether it is good or bad there typically is some truth in a stereotype. Overall it seems like you are enjoying yourself and no matter what there is no place like home. I would think no matter what your current situation is you still miss Canada as I would miss the United States if I were to move to Canada. \nA couple things you mentioned in the video were not correct and as with anything there may be a little truth in the matter but yet still incorrect.\nThose who do not have health insurance are not charged or taxed $150 monthly. There is a provision in the affordable care act (ACA) that penalizes certain individuals who make above a certain dollar amount. The amount is either $150 or $300 for the entire year. I concur any monetary penalty against anyone for not having health insurance is outrageous. I could be wrong but I believe this aspect of the ACA was never implemented under President Obama and it was indefinitely suspended or revoked by President Trump. I also feel like I need to address your thoughts about the United States all about war. I believe the American people are like most other people and want peace and civility. The government and major defense contractors have differing opinions at times. Of course there is plenty of people who are war hawks but they are in the minority. Most of us are absolutely sick of war. We currently have been at war for almost 19 years. That's six complete world war 2's in their entirety. \nI think you were being awfully generous when you said obesity is on par with the rest of the world!! Unfortunately there is far to many fat people here and the problem is only getting worse because the media says be happy and proud you are fat. Celebrating obesity is absolutely insane and it sends the wrong message to young people. If a close one is fat of course I love them but I also tell them privately that they are a walking heart attack. It's more than OK to accept someone the way they are but as a friend or family member you doing them a disservice by not mentioning their obesity. \nI'm sorry if you feel I'm being to harsh or critical. I see my son get treated very bad .\nBusiness people at the bank\n treated him horrible and he was trying to get help.\n\n basically jerked him around and I'd like to . CVS would not let me have my medicine my doctor give them a phone call and he was upset he EAT him up and spit him out \nbecause I have diabetes \ndon't. NOT let my son get my medicine and it's hard for me to walk around and I called him up and ask why \nand then I did get my medicine and I never did have no more trouble out them after my doctor ball to out they against my son but people listen at this we're not African American where are we we are not I seen the kind of thing two we was up to the courthouse and these police officers was looking at me and laughing I'm an overweight woman and overweight people gets treated bad we get laughed at we get made fun of and every way I got jerked around at the courthouse in Anderson they really treated me horribly and I think it was because I was overweight and they was very rude and nasty to every customer to come in and I don't know why to me it always pointed out and all I'll be pointed out so it's not only African Americans but it's people like myself that has a weight problem I I am A obesity white woman

If the Islamic followers want to be more accepted it would benefit for them to denounce the radical Islamic parts more openly and more often, also even the Christians have tone down or even speak against how some things in the Bible are written and or interpreted and have even fought against groups or individuals who would radicalize things from the Bible.\n\nBut it appears that even the moderate follower of Islamic faith may say something to a non believer just to appear helpful, but while later it seems those moderates talk different when around others of their faith, no longer ready to speak against their teachings or leadership. The groups or individuals I hear talk from the Islamic side of things, like Council on American-Islamic Relations is only the victimhood against Muslims, it seems that the Council avoids asking it's others how to fit into Western or American type culture/ life. Why does it seem that it's the community's etc that needs to change? If I went to Saudi Arabia could I expect the country to change to my standards? If even I went to the Vatican City and Said hey Pope I'm here now so you all need to change to my way of thinking? I truly think that there are some of the Muslim faith who exploit the western society kindness, generosity and laws to further their own goals, and it's a sad situation to be so deceitful.

I'm 55 yrs old Puerto Rican who's lived in NYC USA my entire life, I don't nor I have ever dressed like a gangsta, never acted like one and always dressed casually decent, but every freakin time I wallk into any store I am immediately tagged as a potential shoppe lifter and its always by my own kind or african american, what I do to get even is I pull out a bunch of cash money and pause for a few seconds in front of the cash registers and count the money and walk out the door without purchasing anything

growing up in canada, i felt left out in the blk community b/c i am a 5th generation blk cdn on mom's side and 3rd on my dad's - when other black ppl not canadian born met me - i tell them i'm cdn, but i always used to get the question - where are you really from - they were looking for me to say the islands - when i told them my paternal grandma was born in 1901 in canada - that's when the questions stopped. i've been told that b/c i wasn't from the islands, i had no culture in college, but a mbr of the black student society put him in his place i heard he got into a lot of trouble. i was asked what do we eat as in food as canadians what kind of music do we listen to - at our blk canadian weddings, the only carribean song played was hot hot hot by arrow - we played straight up r and b and motown. i hv been rejected by other blk men b/c i'm not west indian enough...it was hurtful. even with 'friends' they made of my cdn heritage but i used to think, why are you making fun of me knowing that my family and ancestors were in canada first - they were 1st generation - i live in the usa now and i'm with an african american man - he has never treated me as if i were different and he loves going w/me to canada. my parents told me it was jealousy on those ppl's parts - one guy i used to be friends with in college, when i went to his house, his mom was from the islands, when she met me - she said, 'you cdn ppl are loud' and that did it for me - i didn't date her son but when he met my parents, they never said any of that crap to him. in the usa, the african americans don't treat differently at all - my ex mom in law thought we were american but decided to live in canada - b/c she was surprised that blacks do live in canada. her other daughter in law's family were from the islands - but she gravitated more to my family and felt comfortable around them more than her family and this ex sis in law would brag about the islands this and that and she would make comments about my looks being skinny and such but it was jealousy - i didn't care much for her b/c she was very insecure. i felt once again, i was a young girl in college again - being around island ppl....i would love to meet drake and ask him did he feel left out and isolated because he wasn't from the islands - he makes me very proud being a blk canadian - his dad is african american and his mom is jewish. i still hv dealt w/racism not much with wht ppl, but with my own ppl - which is quite sad and on top of it-colorism, that also played a part from my family - being called pygmy, chocolate dip, nappy hair - it hurt but these so called relatives, they aren't all that anymore, they had hard lives as children...when ppl see something in you that is special and they don't have, that's when their ugliness shows -

Wow,I'm an American and I don't have 15,000 dollars to spend on attorneys ,wait that's because we have to pay taxes, food medical insurance, and use a drivers licence to drive a vehicle or we get in trouble, these peoples sense of entitlement is utterly ridiculous and think laws don't apply to them.

So I'm in a dilemma of whether I should move down to Florida and live with my American girlfriend, or stay up here and support her moving up here in Canada. My main issue is health care. I just hear many people have bad service and poor treatment with insurance down there, but it all depends what insurance your applying with. People are fairly nice, but there are also some douche bags as well so I'm not surprised. With my overall budget, I could likely stay down there for about a few months or so. Here in Canada, taxes are a little higher, but it's worth it (Some idiot said our taxes are lower), health care is paid for, winters are cold but anyone can survive through it. Some say Canada is a socialist (which is Not -_-). Liberal party is ruining Canada as it is in a way. But again, it's better Justin than Trump. (Betting for Scheer). Idk, politics is bad in both countries I say. Idk, I'm likely missing some things here. Should I move down with my girlfriend, or stay up and support her moving up here?

Yeah, we're not so awful... I'm American, living in Canada, and honestly, I'm here for my husband, who is Canadian. I absolutely ADORE him. The only thing that annoys me about Canada is the fact they seem to hate diabetics, anyone on a low-carb diet, or anyone who just doesn't want to eat a ton of sugar. In fact I can't get anything sugar-free in a store (simple things, like sugar free coffeemate, sugarfree cake mix) unless I pay, I'm not even lying here, TWENTY TIMES THE PRICE on Amazon, (I'm not paying $85.00 for a 10.2oz canister of coffee creamer... WTF?) That is 3.49USD in any walmart. These people have to be kidding me.

You debunked a lot of things (except the healthcare, which is accurate ?, and a lot of people here have it, 90%) and you CAN get Medicare and other government help. But the Conservative party here hates that. As a liberal, I'm fine paying taxes for a lot of things to help others and support keeping our businesses, roads, and schools safe. Speaking as a white man I have to admit I don't quite understand the need for anyone to organize as a race in Canada. First generation clubs from whatever country, sure, but as a race? Is it the elephant in the room... American slavery?  I can't help but think that most perceived problems blacks have in Canada are due to American issues we see in movies and media.\nWe in Canada bend over backwards to offer opportunity to succeed. Even touching on racism is widely and loudly crushed. I personally, as do most, give any individual the opportunities they deserve but it's up to them to screw it up or not. To me, if any minority can't make it in this society they aren't trying.\nIt's actually worse in my mind to be white male in public forums because our views and opinions are marginalized and shouted down. Youtube and the internet are the few forums where honest feelings and opinions can be spoken. No one with anything to lose would say this in public for fear of attacks from the thought police. Pretty sad we live in a free country that actually doesn't allow free speech from all. I don't see why Canadians must learn about slavery in that country. I mean, if 4% of the population is black and many of them are immigrants from the Caraïbe. What is the point? They live in Canada. Another thing, black Canadians are really sensitive for no reason. Compared to other countries in the Americas, they have it better. Maybe I can't understand what they are complaining about because I'm American but I see over sensitivity.
