What are you going to do when you won't have a place to live with your families or can't pay for your needs, because there are no housing or jobs, because everything that belong to you were given to them? What about the crimes they are doing in our communities. They are not here to HELP US, they are here to take what it's ours and replace us. There's not any worse than a blind, who don't want to see. These people are destroying our Beautiful Country and all we can do is hate this President, who the only thing he wants to do is save it for us. *shrugs* Canadian here. No interest in leaving, especially to the US of all places.\n\nI mean think that through. My income tax is around 17% of my income. My capital gains on investments is around 15%. I get free health care (which while obviously not free - is paid out of my taxes, yet isn't rationed or in-network restrictions, doesn't have copays and cover 90% of my medical needs). I have a government that even at its worst, is orders of magnitude more rational and public serving than the US (and god help you if Trump gets back in). Not to mention a country that doesn't literally have a major gun violence/mass shooting even EVERY FRICKING WEEK, unlike the US.\n\nAnd yes, I live in Metro Van and I have an 850 sq ft two bedroom apt I'm renting for $1250/mo - so maybe the problem isn't simply that the housing market is too tight (which it is), but that you've picked a city in high demand that's boxed in on four sides - ocean to the west, mountains to the north, US border to the south and what little farmland the lower mainland can sustain to the east. You could, of course, move elsewhere in Canada like Edmonton or Calgary, but yeah...not whiny enough, I guess.\n\nSorry, you're entitled to you views of course, but I can't help thinking most of your problems are self-inflicted... so yeah, move to the States.\n\nI'm SURE it'll work out better for you....

I came to Canada 20 years ago from East Europe to embrace the Western culture. It's all gone now. I'm back in Europe now, I left everything behind, great achivements and a great career because I don't want to live in Asia, Romania is more democratic and Weatern culture than Canada by far. Oh, and less communist too. Shame, I love Canada and I was greatful for everything it gave me. God help us all.

I think it’s just the normal thing, questions are asked in every port of entry, I came into Canada about a week ago and was asked exactly same questions in Toronto airport all you need is have all your documents handy and be bold in answering all the questions you are asked and be genuine. There is no need being afraid once you are sure of the purpose of your trip then you are good. I’ve been to several countries and it’s almost same questions at every port of entry. God help us.

Amidst so many events lately, Which are opening so many horizons for people, I also, but cant help myself realise a few very significant events unfolding in front of my eyes. \n\nWhilst listening to your reasons to move, I am realising that Allah (God) is aligning the world into two very distinct parts, right wing and the left wing. And it's taking place in every religion/ community. \n\nVery well be for the end of times, as many of us are currently realising.

As a Christian when it comes to drunkenness and disorder and modesty and other moral issues I would agree with these people trying to clean up the community, just that as a Christian we would have a different approach. Pray for God to help them not just practically, but spiritually and encourage them to put their faith and trust in God who can help with underlying problems that causes them to waste away their lives on drink and drugs in the first place. Shari law is oppressive dictatorship and not for the best interest for the people of Uk or anyone for that matter. What we are seeing in society is the consequences of turning our backs on God who at one time blessed our nation, not perfect but we had some good qualities as a nation. What is going on in the world? The U S and Canada seeing tents pitched up on the streets of what were some of the finest cities in the world. Something is very wrong. I grew up on blue-collar modest means. We were happy to celebrate life. My family members weren't educated, and we had real domestic family problems as so many do. We may have been poor, but we had what we needed and were never facing homelessness. Is this the result of globalization, overpopulation, global warming, and greed? God help us all. What is canada good for? Its not safe anymore. The medical departments sucks and the justice system suck, getting a job is hard and cannot afford house, rent or food. Most of us live onlg basic and in debt. The extrem cold winters and short depressing days dont help. All this said im still gratefully to God and know people live far worst.
