Their children eat free school meals and get valuable education dollars afforded to them in order to teach ESL English, where we cut music and arts budgets to our own, while their children smell like their weed after they drop them off at school in America, from their Escalade with shiny rims and their last name in old English printed on their back window of the fancy car they paid for with cash money they made by loitering in parking lots, only willing to hide under the radar and do cash-only work so they can continue having children for families that we feed, house, insure, provide dental and orthodontic care, social support, as they suck our local food banks of stock and take our local christmas tree programs for presents for all their kids, then send their cash back to more people in their country or give it to cartels for bringing them here. It's been going on for decades, and we are tired and broke and struggling ourselves. These people are professional public assistance fraudsters who float around under the radar, getting away with robbery. Get them all out!

In response to the judging of immigrants. Interesting how we rarely see immigrants on our street corners asking for a handout. Instead they're at work making just barely enough to eventually have their own business in a few years. Latinos are a workforce and stimulate the economy because its a lot of hard work to maintain and sustain this country. Who's gonna do all that hard work when they're deported. Maybe our spoiled and privileged teens? All industries will suffer a void in their workforce causing products and service prices to increase. Billionaires like Corporations, Trump and Musk are the reason you are not doing well, not immigrants. Trumpism is fear, hate, blame and shame politics. Immigration has been a thing since a million years ago, and it will always exist. People migrate. Americans use 1,000 times the resources more than immigrants need. Immigrants don't even qualify to for well-fare assistance. When immigrants are gone and the borders are secured, who will be blamed next for America's problems. Instead of focusing on the greater good and progress for all Americans, Republicans can't help themselves to use their power to address their xenophobia, blame, hate without concern of who and what suffers, families of the working class suffer, and our economy, not billionaires. Mass change and reckless actions based on negative emotions and Ego based intentions of one man, is bad for everyone. Negative energy + negative actions amounts and results to nothing but negative consequences and repercussions. Trumpism is no bueno for America. His approach to fixing immigration will hurt and break America.

These ppl don't understand how things work, trumped just gave America to be there worst selves. Even the ppl who lost houses and life savings behind his trump Soho scams. There are people who entered this country over 30 years ago. They know no other country this America. They are hard working productive citizens.It's inhumane to send them back to a country that they know nothing of. They deserve a path to citizenship and should be allowed to stay if they are law abiding and people trying to make a living.

How about passing this law: If you sneak into the United States of America, you will Never be a citizen and Never get any benefits. No Exceptions. For those people whining that the illegal migrants already pay taxes--that's their loss. Apply the legal way to work in this country.

What about the immigrants that have been working and contributing and trying to get citizenship for decades and the spouses of American citizens still fighting for their right after paying taxes for many years - are we raiding all families homes and splitting up kids from parents? The illegal immigrant that contributes to society is not who Donald Trump is worried about. Donald Trump will get out the illegal immigrant that is a convicted felon the criminal out of our country. We don’t need them here to hurt our women our children. Donald Trump said he wants people to come into the country they need to come in legally but the criminal will pay Will be deported. As an American who escaped that hellscape, I garauntee you America has a laughable immigration system. In other countries, inspectors come in and check literally every employee. The fines are huge for businesses. It works, but it just increases criminality.

This causes people from all over the world to come to the USA and Canada. To restore the former greatness of these countries, it is necessary to close the borders and not accept migrants. I see more Chinese than Indians but for sure Canada became the first colony in America for India and China. Indians, why do you go to your so-called country? Why don't you create jobs in your country? It is just that the media tends to focus on black and brown people as it sells better!!! Ohhh and did you forget those many North Americans who flock to Mexico, and South America to run away from the horrendous cost of living!!!! Same for those many Canadians (a common trend those last years) who start to flock into the US to run away from higher living costs in Canada and for higher paid jobs in the US!!!! Okay may be some lesser developed countries do it but let’s realize that WE Europeans also move and emigrate when things turn “grill our ar**s” where we live!!!! Why do governments always see things 'in hindsight?' Regular everyday, working Americans and Canadians saw it YEARS AGO that this would happen. You can't let the floodgates open to anyone who wants to go to America, Canada, European Countries, without a PLAN in place to address it. There have to be limits, there has to be a PLAN!!!!! It’s looking like the country where they came from is god, I can say it. There is something they call shame, dignity, Côme on guys. You have no right to do anything. I never usually comment, but really had to speak up. Those of you from the US should not be involved in this conversation considering ur melting pot country with little diversity who is unaccustomed to diversity anyways (i went to america and was shocked at how little coloured minorities there were, and if there were it was just one type that was not brown). Canada has always had brown people, and many of the people you are talking about could be those that immigrated many years ago here or those that were born here. This is different from those immigrating who are also brown - you are grouping those from all different countries in South Asia (with brown skin) as Indian. Just because you see a brown person working in Walmart, it could just be someone who was born here or came here a long time ago. Brown people and Indians included are not in a majority in any way - just look at the population stats.

Good! Let them study in their own ciuntry. They do have goid schoold in their country. The government is jyst doing whats goid for their own citizens. They shouldnt have to compete with immigrants for job opportunities un their own country. Every country should prioritize and give oportunities to their own citizens. These will prevent massive migration from other countries and pushed yheir country of origin to create a better working environment for its people, strive for innovative technologies and industries where their own citizens can work. These wil also forced these migrants to work within the framework of their own countries politic, policies and human issues. It's too expensive to live in Canada as an entrepreneur with unstable income and it's actually better to work remotely in a cheaper country, even if it's less stable. \n\nAs a few other comments have noted, many issues North America has developed are global issues. Many people don't realize many of the issues are from Central Banks lowering interest rates to zero or negative all to back stop aging demographics. This has been the trend for 30+ years if you check charts of interest rates and government bonds.

There was an incident were a cricket match was going to be shown in the mega plex put they did not show it something happened that was not mega plexes fault that it was not being shown there was a group of Indian students who started screaming at the ticket counter. It’s because of behaviour like this Canadians are hating international students from India .?. Having so ma y people come in just puts a strain on housing, who would think that people from a hot country would want to go to a cold country…. Just go to a wormer country . Taxes , are high , homes are crazy expensive , car insurance is high , people’s are getting there cars stolen don’t see the benefit really coming to Canada . Canada talks about how great their health care is but when you see the wait times and how they have less doctors not so great . I came to Canada in 2016 worked in IT until I had enough money saved up moved back to India and bought land and built a house just started buying more land and when I had enough moved back to India . Us Indians can be successful anywhere so way not be successful in our country. Alina is more beautiful than before, I am curious where you will go. In face, Canada is good to raise children, but when they grow up and you are free on yourself, it is better to change to live in other countries. South america and Southeast asia are among good choices. Selling your house will stop paying the ever rising government tax and strata fee but gives you a more affordable housing while plenty left for buying medical insurance abroad. Saving of 35-45% tax can easily buy a descent plan. Canada is great but the cost of living is far more greater! In long run, Canada will become more occupied by Indians and other third world countries immigrants who like to raise large family to maximize their welfare and send children to school for free. The employers like cheap labour and bigger consumer size so they support Treadue. The foreign students in my company ridiculously work more than study. Bureaucratic inefficiency is also prevailing in many governmental bodies, federal and provincial alike. Large private companies are not much better.

Hey, to all you people from Europe, how about you take a look at what your own country did in the middle east, aswell as what America did. \n\nDid your countries not go there? Did they not shell the cities and houses there? \n\nAnd if you don't think it is your countries fault, but America's or Canada's fault, why has your country not protested their actions? Why have they been silent?\n\nStart using your brain. Best wishes for your move from Canada. Canada is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. However, Canada is largely unaffordable. America is unaffordable. Many in the working and middle classes are leaving. The cost of a home in nice communities in America averages over 1M Dollars. Tiny, old, fixer-upper homes in America average around $500,000 or more. The average rent for a very small apartment is over $1,500. Rents for apartments in upscale neighborhoods average around $3,500-$7,500 a month. Increasing cost of living in America is a problem. Some working people making average pay are living in their vehicles. Others making well over $100,000/year are leaving because they will not overspend on housing. People are moving to Mexico, Panama, South America, France, Portugal, Spain, Eastern Europe, Greece, Asia, etc. for affordable cost of living.

All are the same, all of the Western countries go down-hill, before they lost the competition to Japan, S Korea, now they lost the competition to China, SE Asia, and South America, that's why you see people in Canada and many developed nations lost their job, what people in Canada need to do is study harder, work harder not being lazy.

Karl Marx understood what is taking place in our Country very well. He said that, without a structure of law and order people will devour one another like wolves. So, in order to gain control over people, you must first break the system(s) that they rely on and then, once completely shattered, replace it with one that will be controlled by the Communist Party. Don't think for a second that any of these things you see happening is by accident. America had a system that worked, and it worked very well for over 200 years. Suddenly, it seems broken and dysfunctional. But that dysfunction is by design, not by systematic failure as the New Communist Democrats would want us to believe.

Thank Trudeau, mass migration, government handouts to all but Canadians. I have a U.K. Passport but its now gone down the drain. The only countries that make sense now are where family values count. Eastern Europe. Latin America is tempting but not sure of safety. If one has $$$ then anywhere can work.

This is so sad to watch. I'm an Aussie in Sydney who worked in Calgary for 10 years between 2004 and 2014. Watching your country deteriorate like this at the hands of your glorious leaders is gut wrenching. The spread of wasting humanity across North America as the legalisation of drug use (+ other socialist policies) is taking hold bends my mind. We also have unattainable house prices here for many, but we don't have the large scale social devastation (yet). Good luck in your journey - can't imagine how tough this is for you and your family. Born and raised in Canada but left in 1999. I have only been back 3 times and although I retired in 2015, I have decided to not move back, maybe never. I am absolutely heart broken about it because I love the country I grew up in. Been traveling full time ( no home base ) since retirement and we keep looking for a place to call home. We are ending a 2+ year stay in South America and are now headed to Japan, just for the heck of it, change of scenery. We are not too keen on hot and humid but we still want to visit SEA. 3rd generation here, I can retire next year as long as I leave Canada. If I remain, I will work until dead because it is so very expensive and getting more so under the cult of climate change. It pains me to witness what our governments have allowed to happen in our communities. Drug abuse is rampant, mental health is staggering, youth are medicated, gender confused and climate terrified. A homeless shelter for drug addicts is being built less than a 4 minute walk from my home which is in a seniors park....we will all be victimized by theft and vandalism. We are also divided thanks to trudeau who has labelled and categorized us so deeply he ran elections based on divisions. We are no longer the kind polite people we once were. Churches burning epitomizes the moral or lack of moral ground we live and act upon. So I am moving next year to central America, Panama most likely...I can afford to retire there, never need to heat my home nor worry trudeau is going to ban my furnace and my car. It saddens me to no end for I have grandchildren, 5 generations, of investment in this country.

The Canadian government is at major fault here. I don’t know if you canucks are aware of the advertisements your government airs in other countries? Well they promise to give any immigrant a quick route to citizenship and employment once they arrive in your country. Unfortunately once they get there nothing is true on those advertisements. There’s even professionals with degrees from north, central and south America working construction jobs because their degrees are not accepted due to academic prerequisites not being met whatever that means.
