Please don't conflate legal immigration with millions of international students and temporary workers. Canada needs a legal immigration policy that works and right now it does not have that in place.

If they spend a huge amount of money to get an education, then why are most of them taking useless courses that will leave them with no skills whatsoever????? Take an amazing course in India. Become a Doctor, India has the best Doctors IMHO. Spending a fortune to come to Canada to get a diploma that will get you a minimum wage job seems rather foolish to me.

Now it is open and clear that education or so called skill enhancement education programs for foreign students is a scam. They just want their money(many times what Canadians pay), and no skills to give them in return. Its broken in a way that they also can't apply to another country. Why attracting that amount of worker into Canada while there’s no measures to attract investors immigrants! Where is the money to support all the food, housing, and medical care ? Our infrastructure is not prepared for the expanded population. We have to wait 4 hours in the emergency room but now we have to wait 8 hours! What will happen when all families of these labour that will be coming in the near future? Can the emergency room able to work still?

I'm Indian, been in Canada for over 40 yrs and I think they let in too many immigrants which caused problems with housing/rents and the job market...it was a terrible and nearly irreversible mistake. It's ruined Canada...fortunately most Indians are ok, but still too many newcomers here.

Citizens of Canada have the right to claim the employment in their own country. Migration should not happen in such a way, that the original citizens start feeling like outsiders.

The real problem is the middle class and small businesses in Canada. I was a PR in Canada and still couldn't get a decent job because of two major issues. First - language. I went to look for a job in so many places but couldn't get it because I couldn't speak their native language, like Polish, Arabian, or Chinese. Second - I asked someone if I could get a govt. job near my house and everybody said NO. Why because the place had a Polish guy in charge, and he is only going to hire his family or friends who are Polish. So doesn't matter if you get the best leader known to man, Canadian economy is doomed if you don't do anything about the middle class system and non-English speaking immigrants.
