Many of these migrants already have a house, job and safety in their own countries. I Feel like the 'cartel' story is overly used to make seeking asylum easy. In the 1990s, when we traveled up to Blaine, WA we would take the children to Peace Arch Park and let them play. It's not even just in Brampton even 1 to 2 hours away immigrant and international students take all customer service jobs to the point that Canadians can barely get hired into these roles because we have expectations and rights that we worked for and I've seen these immigrants willing to work for less than legal minimum wage and they do not stand up for themselves or work towards having any shared rights. In addition many politicians on both sides of the aisle are rental landlords so only stand to profit from low rental vacancies and cramming as many people into a small space as possible. They've also cut funding to a lot of post-secondary institutions who rely on inflating tuition cost for international students. At my current role on a team of 15 people plus one manager there are only three white people, born and raised Canadians. The rest are all Indians including the manager and will frequently talk amongst themselves loudly in Punjabi while we're trying to serve customers in the English language. That's actually against policy but Canadians are so outnumbered by immigrants and specifically Indians in this place that it never gets enforced properly. I've never been anti-immigration but it's gotten so bad in Canada especially in places like Ontario that I'm now against it and will tell anyone regardless of their skin color to avoid immigrating here. I've been on a wait list for a doctor for over 11 years, I know people who have died from cancer due to delayed referrals due to long wait list for additional screening, it's insane and absolutely ridiculous especially considering the amount of taxes I currently pay and have paid my entire life as a born and raised Canadian.\n\nAlso it's absolutely true every single one is either taking or has taken post-secondary studies in business admin or management. We don't need more people in these fields we need Healthcare sector workers and not a single one that I've spoken with which again is quite a few studied anything related to medicine Healthcare nursing... not one.

it isn't just in NY or Texas. we are in a south Kansas City suburban apartment in a relatively nice area and we have seen multiple Mexican families going in and out of a couple of different apartments carrying trash bags full of whatever, suitcases, then loitering outside at all hours of the day and night when you wouldn't have normally seen that here. our clubhouse/pool closes at 10PM and everyone that lives here knows and abides by the rules, they do not and they leave trash, glass bottles etc. all over the place and have turned the outside furniture upside down and thrown trash into the pool so they keep closing it down to clean it. i call the police but they don't do anything because its private property. this will escalate to the point where the Citizens are going to have to take a stand.

I live south of Buffalo NY, and I used to take the Greyhound everywhere. This was like 15 years ago, but Everytime we got to Buffalo officers used to board the bus and check for people that may be entering illegally before the buses headed out. They'd just ask your destination and request ID from anyone they suspected may be foreign. It wasn't extensive but it was something.

Fun fact! You can say you're going to Alaska from Washington State. And then don't! They come up from the Darien gap. Up through Cali to Washington, say you're going to Alaska and then get into Canada that way. Take the #1 hwy across Canada to Ontario and then to New York. It's not hard to see this happening.

As a Canadian I can say I did not know about this and I'm so so sorry our dumb, terrible dictator is doing this to your country. As Canadians we used to be able to trust that our government would bring in families and refugees and Canadians could feel secure and confident that we were helping. Our country was committed to kindness and helpfulness. Now, they're doing this. They're importing young-middle aged men who take jobs from locals and they give them tens of thousands in cash handouts, they steal our housing and give it up to these people who only want to colonize us. As someone who moved from the US to middle of nowhere Canada, this tracks. Most of Canada cannot be lived in as a homeless person for 6-8 months out of the year unless you plan on literally freezing to death. It regularly gets down to -60 Celsius in the winter where I live and unless you live in a big city, alot of the smaller cities and towns that dot Canada ain't willing to take in illegal migrants because they have no resources to do so.

I think we just have to tell them NO and stop giving illegal immigrants a place to stay and money.. We don't need a physical border wall, just stop giving them money and they will eventually stop when they see that they will just end up laying on the streets in the cold. If they are illegal they shouldn't get anything but a ticket back to where they came from or go to jail. then put back to where they came from and make them able to come in the legal way. And if they try to pull that anchor baby trick coming over here nine months pregnant ready to pop any moment, take them to the hospital let them have their baby and don't make the baby a citizen, and send them back home too.. I, in my right mind, don’t care if these economic migrants end up sleeping on the streets. Many of our homeless population sleep under bridges and encampments. In other countries like Philippines or to a lesser degree Thailand, there are a lot of people roughing it on their streets. So don’t cry too much for them. Once, the word is out that the coddling and freebies are gone, then this situation goes away. The ones who are here, can go underground and take cash jobs, then they can take a flight back to their home countries as there is no chance for them to get legal citizenship status.

Whoever facilitated the transportation should charged with human trafficking. Stop the free temporary housing. Shut the doors, load them onto buses, take them to the airport and fly them back home wherever they may be. Laws need to be changed to stop the profiting of tracking by cartels. Buses companies should be fined per person who aren't citizens.

Well as for my experience, I don't even think the education system of this so called developed countries is that great. Like take for my example, I am currently undertaking MSc Biotechnology degree from University of Glasgow in UK, which is considered to be under Top 100 universities in the world by many ranking agency. My academic experience in this university was not at all good, the theoretical lectures were pretty average, the laboratory work was very repetitive, just doing the same thing over and over again, they didn't even teach us how to operate even one complex instrument, it feels like we are a cash cow for this big universities. I highly suggest if anyone is thinking of pursuing a bachelors or master's degree from such countries don't do it. Save your money. Yes, but if you are planning to pursue a PhD then you are most welcome, but only do PhD when you've had a fully funded scholarship+ stipend.

Yes I understand his point but at the end of the day they’re still not taking any in and they should you can always return them and you can still push for them to have their lands but I don’t think they have to stay the sacrificed to do that. I have some comments about some of the things in the video. Including Olivia Chow in the video when talking about housing affordability with local government policies I don't think is right to inlcude her as she only got elected last year and has to deal with all the decisions and issues from the past Toronto mayor. It's similar to blaming Biden for the economic issues of the US when a lot of the reasons for the downturn economy in the US during his first term was the impact of the economic policies that Trump put in place, it takes time. In terms of the carbon tax, I think its a valid criticism with the compounding issues canadians are facing, but also take into consideration that the provincial governments also have some play with this, as they have the ability to go for the standard carbon tax or implement a cap and trade. A lot of conservative governments like to complain about the federal government about this, but they are also to blame for some of the lack of affordability for political points. As well for the banking fees, we do have a smaller selection of banks, but there are some options that Canadians can have that do not include fees (Simplii, Tangerine). Everything else in the video I agree on, I also think personally that all political parties need a shake up in leadership.
