Someone can anonymously call RCMP to report a CARAVAN of what appear to be MIGRANTS headed up whatever road they will be on. Tell them you are without a country of your own, to depend on, (not a lie). They can all stay in hotels, NO MORE HOMELESS.

Most of these comments are disgusting! He went into Canada to seek asylum because he knew that he wouldn't be granted asylum with Trump in office in the USA. He is doing it the legal way filling out the paperwork to seek asylum. Unless you're Native American, your ancestors were once immigrants! And not all of them came legally either! El Salvador has a lot of political instability, there is a lot of crime and murders constantly happening. He has a good reason to escape that as anyone would. It angers me what this man has done to his family. How do you claim asylum in a country when fleeing from a country you came to illegally? Immigration laws are very important and protect citizens of a country in many ways. The US welcomes immigrants with open arms when they come here legally. These individuals want to challenge our rights to protect our people, our country. This family may be no threat to our country but if laws are not followed it opens the way for the wrong people to enter. I’m so tired of this manipulation. This man is responsible for the pain his children are going through.. not the countries standing by their laws to protect citizens and legal immigrants. If you know something is wrong and you do it anyway how do you then blame someone else for the consequence? Aside from this.. when do people start taking a stand and making positive change in their own Home Countries? So many of these people support corrupt leaders that promise to give them all their desires and then when things fall apart they want to flee. The problem in this world is people refuse to take responsibility. It’s always someone else’s fault. If we allow people from other countries to neglect our laws our country will fall as well. Wake up.

Can you just imagine what it's like? Can you imagine being with your children, your spouse, and having to make these difficult and terrifying decisions? Can you imagine being at the receiving end of such hatred, hostility and resentment? The vile rhetoric that dehumanizes and demonizes them- can you imagine enduring all of this? All while attempting to save your family, to wish to be treated as human, to be treated fairly, to receive safety...\nbut to, instead, be persecuted, detained, separated, traumatized...\nIt's horrifying. This isn't who we are. We are better than this. We can treat people as human, with kindness and compassion, not fear and aggression. We can treat each other with love and understanding.

Just imagine we heard this immigrant's sad story regarding just wanting a better life for his family. Some people will feel some compassion and say screw you Trudeau or Trump, let them all in, they just want to work, they are not criminals, screw laws, we are all immigrants here blah, blah blah. Let's not forget there are thousands and thousands maybe millions that has the same sad story and the same dream. If Canada don't build a wall, it will end up like America and have all sorts of immigration issues.

I don't know what Sharia Law/ Islam is all about to hate it that much. We have Muslims in our country. At least around 20% of the population. Maybe more than Australia... but there are as many different interpretation of Islam and Sharia Law, as the Bible and Christian denominations. What you probably have is the Radical Extremist type.... The type that doesn't accept differences in culture and the population they are in. They are the minority who wants to have the majority rule... We also have problems with Radical Islam and majority of the Muslim population in my country does not accept them that much. There are certainly discrimination against Muslim, but not as much as most western countries does. My advise is to not to generalize Muslims as one type of people. There are people in that community that does not believe in extremist interpretation of the law. Second, deport or watch radical extremist as they are dangerous to any multicultural society, like the white supremacist and Neo- Nazis in the US. Some of them are citizens. Deporting your own citizen to a different country is far-fetched. Third, accept them as part of a sub- culture, having their own ways within their group, yet under the laws of the nation they are living. The way they dress, polygamy, and women's rights are just some issues that Westerners usually cringe about. But there are other religions who practice these as well. Lastly, stop hating each other because your hate will empower extremism. \nReligion is either you are born with it until you are old/ mature enough to choose or an independent choice.

This is the product of telling a kid how great he is all his life. Take my advice folks tell your kids they are not that great everyday because you wouldn't want them to turn into this turd

I pray for these Families that are fleeing the oppression and violence of their home land.. These are the people I hope receive the chance at a better life.. No decent human being could hear a mother plea for her children, & not feel it in your heart, great compassion!! At the same time, Canada is not all lollipops and rainbows.. I'm a former crown ward and now first hand, that not everybody here is sweet and kind.. They can have a more passive aggressive way of screwing a person over.. You may deal with 2faced people.. That seem like a friend, but aren't really hoping for the best for you.. Some of them enjoy asserting their authority over you! You have to pray you'll have decent people working on your case.. not many ppl who move to another country are stupid or lazy.. is the fact that most of them focus on keeping their families safe. And all you worry about is keeping a roof and food on the table.. not many have options.

To those who are against Islam, do educate yourselves and ACTUALLY read AUTHENTIC sites about Islam, meet Muslims and have a DECENT conversation with them, try to understand the religion and then make your decisions about it, don't decide that whatever you hear from social media is automatically 100% true, cuz, let's be real, it isn't always true. Also, remember that there are good muslims, bad ones, extremists and decent muslims. Not all muslims have the same perspective on islam, it depends on the way they are brought up into it. Also, not every muslim minds if you criticize islam, as long as it's in a respective way, like say how a sikh may question christianity or vice versa. There's a reason why Muslims make up a vast amout of the earth's population.

I am an international student from China and I living in Canada now. I have to say not all the local people who living in here are racists and some of them will say hi to me and showed their kindness, I also meet some racists but that will not effect my opinions to Canada because my family usually to praise Canada when I was a kid and I still can feel the warm the local people bring to me. I love Canada as a Chinese and I tried to be humble and smell to everyone I meet but some of them always looking for my trouble.

People feel if they can eliminate another their life might finally fall in place. Hurt people hurt people. I say things that are not right but I’m learning not to, I put myself in the other person shoes. mPeople will eat(cook their food in a restaurant)from somebody of color but want live or sit next to them. Now that don’t make a hill of sense when the stomach is the most important, it can mysteriously poison. We all in this together. Stop letting Satan divide you into thinking you winning when you aim at someones homeland or color. Nobody really stays in the place they were born. Even in the Bible they travel. We all needed up. Nobody woke up and chose the color they are. What is minority to you is superior to God. Tell him how you feel to his face about his decision to make all sorts of people. Before I moved to Brampton, I had no idea HOW MANY Indians actually lived here. I'm of south Asian descent but I grew up here as a Canadian. I still keep my culture but I'm Canadian FIRST. It's true too, some of them don't believe in deodorant, holy shit I literally had to tell a guy who sat beside me on the bus that he smelled. I know it was rude but if someone doesn't tell these people, they will think not wearing deodorant is normal. I miss the Canada I grew up in. My friends were mostly white but there was a nice mix of us: white, black, asian so we all got along. Today, everyone is in their own groups, strangers are the enemy, there is so much more segregation than there has ever been. Not long ago at a Tim Hortons I heard an Indian guy who was clearly new to the country telling his friend he didn't have to learn English because everyone in Brampton speaks Punjabi, it was insulting hearing that.....Listen up Indians and any immigrants coming here: BEFORE you come here, learn English, LEARN the customs and learn the CANADIAN WAY. You owe it to Canada, give something back before you start taking.

My daughter in law came to America, got her visa, green card and international drivers license. She did all that under a year. She does everything expected of her and has not had any problems. She got a real job and has never asked the US Govt to support her in any way. People that do what is expected of them have no issues. I hate that at my work that we have a 5 foot rule; if a customer is within sight in 5 feet of you, you are to ask them if they need help with anything. Whether or not we suspect them of stealing. We don't discriminate racially, we do this with every person who walks into the store. Which is ridiculous because our store is very small and we have anywhere between 3 and 6 employees on the floor at any given time. So, inevitably, every customer is offered help many many times in their visit. I am always worried that a person of colour will think I'm profiling them, when I'm really not. I genuinely just want to know if they're finding everything they need or have any questions. If we were to racially profile based on the people who have stolen from us in the past, we'd be going after every white person who walks in the store. In my 3 years working there we have had only white people steal from us. So sick of the race issue, we're all humans. The amount of melanin in our skin should not matter.

I was born in Seattle and left to Canada (married) when I was in early 20's!  This then was a good change for me as Vancouver was a great city compared to Seattle, moved right downtown and had a blast so for a young person (then) was great.  Met some great people from all over the world and had health care, medical/Dental etc.... I worked in the greater Vancouver area for 8 years and it was tough, very strict, and did not help that I was from the states, white bread Canadian seemed a bit jealous that I was there, sometimes not very friendly.  The Europeans I met were actually better to deal with and I got along quite well with them.  The cost of living was about the same as in Seattle.  After about 8 years being in Canada and working hard I saw America booming and the Canadian dollar was as low as $.62 cents (in late 90's) so I took my craft from Vancouver and brought it to the US just across the border, I became much happier working in the States, I took a little bit of bs but not bad from some that I had a Canadian accent (go figure when I moved up there I had a twang) I really never left the united states I will always be American and I have been still working in the US for over 20 years and deal with mainly Americans on a daily basis from all over the State of Washington.  Depending on where you grow up or end up you should never see a border Seattle and Vancouver have more in common than Vancouver / Calgary in fact most Canadians don't care much for the other provinces.  After 30 years of being part of both countries, I can say that people are people both have great offerings and if you took the best of Canada and America to combine then we would all prosper, there is so much both can learn from each other.  Bottom line:I take the best of both worlds and what they have to offer, yes, I have found less expensive goods in Canada than what they cost in the states.  I have seen it from both eyes, and if you cant be open culturally then stay away.

From what I heard coming from other source .Also when I see them at food banks taking home more than $150.00 in groceries from just 1 food bank they goto 9 amonth .their cell phones are top of the line .Clothes and shoes brand name only .Gold jewllery ladys purses $300.00 and up .And they all have cars from 40 thousand and up . One place i never see them is value village .How do they do iit ?I had 2 kids and on welfare a few years back and I had a hard time trying to get some things that we badly needed and could not afford and things were a lot cheaper .The most I ever spent at no frills been on assistance was $75.00 for the whole month .6 years ago and no cell phone gold. or cars .So how these people do it ?oh and by the way I go ti no frills once a week .Those same refugees are there every thursday spending $500.00. on goceries and none of them work .Some time neighbours talk and thats how things are know .Our government is a big lier .We the tax payers are paying for all of these Once a refugee of this country one canot be sent back or deported so if this refugee never finds a job you the tax payer and I will pay for his or her assistance and maybe for a life time .like in the case of gypsies refugees they are all on assistance go to all the food banks rob the community of their belongins their cars items from stores donations in front of churches and stores they dress the best also spend hundreds of dollars on food they shop for clothes at the mall and we the tax payer brake our backs 6 days a week 10 hours a day like me and I cant afford even half of what these people can .So even if they become criminals we have to support them .Some refugee law and rights should be changed to ensure that tax payers are not been taking advantage of .

Lol, the funniest part about most shoplifters is that they are usually white and the only reason they don't get caught is because no one is watching them or cares if they steal. One specific time some white guy walked so casually into the beverage aisle at Walmart, put 4 packages of 4 pk Redbull in his backpack, and walked away like nothing happened.
