My college classmates and few people I’ve know left Canada for US. Bought home and already debt free since the pay is better.

From reading many comments about this 'Canada attract (trap) immigrant' and 'Canadian refuse immigrant' stuff , all I can tell is both of sides (already Canadian and new Canadian) are in misery and none of both sides are the cause of eacy misery.

I moved to Canada last year as an international student. I am an italian citizen, I have always dreamed to move to Canada. I was fascinating by its landscapes and lifestyle. Now, after I have lived for one year only, i found myself very disappointed. I am not surprised by so many people leaving Canada. It is sad because Canada was always been a great country...who knows if the current situation will change one day! ?

First of all I do not understand why Trumpf expects Canada to do what apperently the US cannot do, watch the US border. Is he paying us for that, we already subsidize the US! Vancouver resident here - I live a couple blocks away from a college, and can confirm that the student populace not only exploded but is almost exclusively Indian and it wasn’t gradual. \n\nPersonally, this seems to be the most egregious of it because aside from the sheer numbers, they don’t seem to be making the area any less safe or being a nuisance. And at those numbers, they patronize nearby businesses, helping the local economy. Can’t complain about that.\n\nHome prices have been out of control for decades, and so have hospital wait times - these are Canadian problems for which the Indians are merely a recent contributor (if at all). \n\nThe issues Canadians are facing from the influx of Indian seeking education and/or PR’s are under the jurisdiction of Canada’s Trudeau government - a group that is facing deep criticism amongst Canadians. They are now trying to placate us by walking back over the Indians they welcomed here in the first place. \n\nAnd that action subsequently (though not intentionally) gives justification for Canada’s most deplorable citizens to place blame on said Indians and discriminate freely. \n\nHaving said that, the main issue Vancouver locals have that is that (once again due to the Trudeau government) we seem to have imported a violent form of Indian politics that cause blood to be spilled on our streets - I don’t know the details between the sides, just want that sh!t shut down. I never ever read or hear about people immigrating to Canada from NL , S , N , Fi , D , etc.... never ever. You could read about it in the 90ies but the interest to go there has totally cooled down.

As a result, Gurparkar Singh, 19, Akshdeep Singh, 20, Kanavpreet Singh, 20, and Dilpreet Singh, 21, all from Brampton, were charged with mischief under $5,000. Cops noted in their release that “each accused is currently in Canada on a student visa.”

In the end these 3 countries (Canada, Mexico and China) will do whatever is possible to control their borders, reduce Fentanyl & derivatives movement - basically give in to what Trump is aiming for just to maintain their own economies & interests.
