JMJ ✝. This whole thing will be quite a challenge no doubt. For the amount ? Canadians will have to pay to help house these folks during what will likely be prolonged hotel stays (not just days or a few weeks, but possibly months), it may be better to just help them by paying for a one-way plane ticket back to their original point of origin (or to the nearest safe country to it). Of course it is ideal to help those in need, but we have to think of the many people here who are already in need amongst us. Overall, time to secure our borders ????!

I'm sure our country has GIVEN billions of dollars to the countries South of us that was supposedly to help build their country improve. But, you know corrupt politicians, both there and hear, have all taken their cuts and left the people of those countries without any hope. Drain our swamp and help drain their swamp.

I hate that at my work that we have a 5 foot rule; if a customer is within sight in 5 feet of you, you are to ask them if they need help with anything. Whether or not we suspect them of stealing. We don't discriminate racially, we do this with every person who walks into the store. Which is ridiculous because our store is very small and we have anywhere between 3 and 6 employees on the floor at any given time. So, inevitably, every customer is offered help many many times in their visit. I am always worried that a person of colour will think I'm profiling them, when I'm really not. I genuinely just want to know if they're finding everything they need or have any questions. If we were to racially profile based on the people who have stolen from us in the past, we'd be going after every white person who walks in the store. In my 3 years working there we have had only white people steal from us. So sick of the race issue, we're all humans. The amount of melanin in our skin should not matter.

So, an economic migrant makes a false claim for asylum, wastes a lot of taxpayer money in court costs, and is ticked off because he does not get what he is not entitled to. In the 10 years he spend in the US, he did not learn even basic English. And everyone is supposed to feel sorry for him. Sure, when it is one person, or two, or 10, people have sympathy and want to help. But when it is hundreds of thousands, or millions, people's sympathy button gets worn out.

I was born in Seattle and left to Canada (married) when I was in early 20's!  This then was a good change for me as Vancouver was a great city compared to Seattle, moved right downtown and had a blast so for a young person (then) was great.  Met some great people from all over the world and had health care, medical/Dental etc.... I worked in the greater Vancouver area for 8 years and it was tough, very strict, and did not help that I was from the states, white bread Canadian seemed a bit jealous that I was there, sometimes not very friendly.  The Europeans I met were actually better to deal with and I got along quite well with them.  The cost of living was about the same as in Seattle.  After about 8 years being in Canada and working hard I saw America booming and the Canadian dollar was as low as $.62 cents (in late 90's) so I took my craft from Vancouver and brought it to the US just across the border, I became much happier working in the States, I took a little bit of bs but not bad from some that I had a Canadian accent (go figure when I moved up there I had a twang) I really never left the united states I will always be American and I have been still working in the US for over 20 years and deal with mainly Americans on a daily basis from all over the State of Washington.  Depending on where you grow up or end up you should never see a border Seattle and Vancouver have more in common than Vancouver / Calgary in fact most Canadians don't care much for the other provinces.  After 30 years of being part of both countries, I can say that people are people both have great offerings and if you took the best of Canada and America to combine then we would all prosper, there is so much both can learn from each other.  Bottom line:I take the best of both worlds and what they have to offer, yes, I have found less expensive goods in Canada than what they cost in the states.  I have seen it from both eyes, and if you cant be open culturally then stay away.

Having worked for Best buy in my experience my bosses made us be that annoying and ask and talk to each customer more than once depending on time in the store if u didn't they cut ur hours the following week and I hated it personally when someone says no need no help I feel like awesome I can go bk to waiting for this shift to end cause I hate my job!

I am Malaysian Chinese, been in US for 8 years. Whenever i go to premium outlet/ some retail stores, it is so obvious to me that i am being treated differently by the staffs compared to White folks. The staffs often ignore me (don't greet me like how they greet others) and don't offer help automatically. The experience can be quite upsetting and frustrating.

I am Asian, live in the US and this is the reason why I hate shopping. Workers are always stalking you until you are out the door. There are always more than 1 employees asking the same questions to see if I needed help all the time. It is so freaking annoying. I never stole anything in my whole life. But it is okay, it just means they are not getting my business anymore and I am saving more money. ?

The only Blacks allowed to live in Canada are those that are from the Caribbean Islands as part of North America and the Royals as Knights of Canada who are Black Indians as Métis and they are the famous Singers in Toronto and also famous Hollywood Actors. It was too dangerous though for her to work with the walking bomb clones of Megan Markle and Sarah Rafferty coming in to the office so she left and I had to take over her role as the Black Lawyer in Suits so by Season 3 I had to take over almost completely but she did a lot of the lawyering scenes and really deserves the credit as a really good lawyer who us real. She won the Emmy and deserved it as the only Female Black Actress to win any Award ever. So congratulations to her as a great Actress. We tried to keep t manipulation of Megan Markle to a minimum but dud include what she was attempting to do off camera to get into Harvard Law to one up Patrick J Adams who she discredited as a Harvard Law Graduate. She was always a problem for the Crown Attorneys in particular him as her target. I was targeted by her as well when studying at UofT and so I know from her behaviour off camera the real nastiness she has as Arab of Dubai toward us as Royals as Canadians. It really is a hatred and jealousy. I often make the simple response to the obsession with race and color, skin color is an illusion as well as even nationality and race .people who have scientific mind created all these names as well as for animals. Then I will be free to call my Of the human race,forget treating others as white,yellow,black,red,brown etc. Then I will invent my own scientific naming to a new name for all pet mammals A cuchy or mammalius d la plupus d cuchus or. fuzzy hairy small pet mammal. We humans often abuse this science power calling other human people derogatory racial names just to add insult to injury at each other. I would not be surprised that aliens from other worlds are studying the hate humans are inflicting on each other and if the United Nations fails to hold a race war, look up to the skies and behold it ain't Jesus, the flying space discs will battle planet decided earth! The human race hasn't met the expected perfected plane of spiritual and intellectual awareness to Stewart our planet mother earth. But the question I ask, If the space disks win,and the extraterrestrials rule, what will life be like under alien rule, education,economic policy, work, labor , industry, food , commerce, social life etc? will it be better or worse.Does racism among humans have to lead us to such a possibility to be invaded by another unknown race from space. It's a heartbreaking situation, but a country has the right to decide who comes in and who doesn't. The places where hard-working, industrious people like Jose come from need to drastically change their societies to capitalize on his talents and provide for a stable future for his children. Perhaps what the US and Canada can do is help train those country's leaders to implement policies that improve their economies like establishing strong property rights, rule of law, free markets, tough measures on crime, etc. But unless you have a Ph.D. in Physics or will start the next Apple computers, we have plenty of unskilled labor here already. Look, I feel for the guy and I'm empathetic to his plight, I don't think he's an evil person, and our country may be better off having him here working and contributiing to the labor pool, but the law is the law.

There is still a lot of work to do, because there are too many black men and women who suffer from low self esteem and they believe the only way to cure such low self esteem is by inter marrying. What they fall to realize is that their kids will be black and they will undergo the same problems so why not stick to your race and fight the problem instead of running which doesn’t help. Anyway, peace to all my brothers and sisters out there. Let us continue to build by remaining positive. God made us who we are. No other race is better than us. Let us not even entertain such idea. This is the psychology that the enemy have used in the past to destroy the minds of our ancestors, but yet our ancestors were strong enough to produce generations. As a Muslim why be concerned my answer would be help me find them it's would be a mercy to them is they were met by anyone else as Muslims our lack of toleration is to things like this the NYC attacks just now I would take him and impose the law he believes in but misunderstands who truly deserves punishment under any religion or dogma but from my understanding and the main stream understanding of Islam is that you have to sometimes be politically incorrect and treat these individuals in a different way Islam stems in peace but so many are misguided may God have mercy upon us all from these tyrants God bless America

I have some prejudice about certain people and topics and I stereotype of course. It's an automatic thing for humans to do. We immediately assess everything and anyone around us. That's normal. Now, what isn't normal is going out of your way to violate the rights of any human being or to harass them in any manner. Obviously we can't help what we think and what is in our heads but we can control whether or not we act on these things. Fortunately most of us do not act on our thoughts, but some people do.

This might be similar, but a little different. I've been language profiled before, just for speaking my mother tongue. I'm bilingual, english is a second language to me but welsh is my first and primary language. Also, they ostensibly beleive that their so called 'modern' religion of peace regards 'women'one notch above men....This cannot be equality. Also, it is the same religion which does not permit women to vote, does not treat women as 'full witnessess'...It means that a testimony of two women is considered equivalent to that of one man.... is this equality and fair treatment of women? Rubbish. \n\nMany religions have lot of such stupid stuff and all have changed with modern times and these guys are clutching hard to 1400 year old illogical traditions. For example, Indians condemned and discontinued widow burning long back, the western world predominantly Christian, has long back take a humane view of homosexuality ( no homosexuals are punished as per the Old Testament any more) and these guys are busy justifying outdated practices. \n\nBetter change with times or else face the brunt of being ostracized to reason you create yourselves. When our dollar was good I used to have a US Amazon Prime membership and have everything shipped to my mother in law's. It was awesome!! Are you able to get some basic health coverage to help cover a major accident? I guess if you're going to be fined $150 / month might as well put that into insurance.

This might a little of topic but many of the practices that Muslims do are very good health wise \n\n1) while making wudo (a special wash before prayer) when we rinse our nose with water to that cleans until the the bone at the top of our nose is so good that it actually finishes allergies like if you have pollen allergy because when you clean it is getting less sensitive and more stronger I know someone (I've met someone) that had an allergy with fur or something and they made wudo very often and in actually 2 years they had no allergies\n\n2) when we pray:\nThere was a young man who wasn't so practising so he didn't pray he spent his time working out and doing track and field during one of his runs he fell and fractured a bone when the went to the doctor (non Muslim doctor) he told the guy to do some actions that will help in recovering his bones and the acts that the doctors showed him were the actions we do in our prayer, the guy decided to do these actions but not by itself but in his prayer and this was giving to him by a person that wasn't even Muslim!\n\n3) when Muslims cover ourselves many guys don't hit on us because when we cover ourselves its a sign so show that we are not into these kinds of stuff \nIf you want to see proof search up walking in NYC for 10 hours by AreWeFamousNow\n\nSo next time you say that we are crazy doing this stupidity we are protecting ourselves and we are treating our body good health wise.

Nothing quite like learning a lesson the hard way. I've noticed in Britain that a politically moderate conservative belief is emerging. Britain has been subjected to the two extremes of the aristocracy and leftists leaving the majority of Brits terrible abused and neglected.
