People who live in Canada for mote than 10 years their stories are different. They settled everything during that time and live happily. However, these people feel the pain of the country's condition but they are in good shape. Unlike people who moved recently, its very hard and not worth to settle in this country. USA is slightly better in some situations but all over its depends on person's situation and time. \n\nMoving out because someone is going, its not a good approach. Do your own research and if its not worth it then don't go out. There might be other countries which offer better options.

I was just saying to a friend recently Indians have degraded the standards of everything, including the banks, the food industry, and everything they can put their hands on. Cibc and Scotiabank used to be open on the weekends now you can't even go there to do businesses all becuase they have degraded the standards of the banks ihop food is way below standards the only things they are doing right is building decent houses. Shame on our government for doing this to the hard-working canadian who feel like this is not our home anymore

In Bangladesh, all university students have been protesting against the quota system. But today the ruling party student wing, Bangladesh Chhatro League along with the police has attacked the students and many been severely injured. Not a single broadcasting channel has covered this on the news due to pressure from the government. But as a Country Canada has a right to stop or slow down immigration if it is in the best interest of Canada and their economy. Australia, Singapore, USA all have done that. We cant call it hypocrisy.\n\nAlso once you leave your home and immigrate to another country for study, job or whatever, you cannot expect the governments of those counties to make decisions favorable to you. In Trump era, USA was very strict on Visa policies and many Indians moved out of USA. USA has gun problem, racism and so on. \n\nPoint being, when you immigrate it comes with your own challenges, irrespective of which country you select. Immigration is doing more harm then good and I hate throwing them to the wolves, but I cannot STAND the look on my mom's face because we cannot afford a permanent home. We are a nuclear 4 person family and doing OUR BEST, it's insane we built our lives here, I was fucking born here, and we've gotten our rent raised higher then homes costed a decade ago. \nWhen all this population growth imposes on MY quality of life, bet your fucking ass I'm bitter. I wouldn't have as many qualms if we could house Canadians AND immigrants but it's evident we can't!\nAnd!!!!! I am super happy that you guys made video on this , stating facts and figures which are completely true, I am student living in Canada, I came from India last year to have change from my routine , and I can say I have faced all most all the issues raised in the video, I do feel that Canada isn’t the problem in my life but it does adds up in my struggle and I would not recommend anyone to come in Canada without knowing the drawbacks, at the same time I don’t feel like it’s the worst country to stay in but , but living here is not sustainable for longer period of time.

Agreed with all your points and thanks for sharing. But honestly, I fail to understand two points here. 1. People living in Canada and commenting that it is true and they are baffled with this whole situations, when exactly you are coming back to India? People will tell you that they want to come back but no one will. It is because those who actually left for Canada in order to have a better lifestyle are still having a better lifestyle in Canada and they will never return back (atleast in the near future). They left for Canada citing the reasons that India is polluted and they are toured based on religion (you know exactly whom I am talking about) but whatever the case is...they are still not coming back. 2. No country is perfect, I agree that Canada has its own problems to deal with but then why Indians are leaving for US, UK and Australia where racisms and cost of living high too? It is because they have issues with India too and those who have issues with a well diverse and prospered country like India, will have problems in other country as well. So if you don't wanna come to Canada, all good but other countries have same problems as well (atleast 80% matches the points discussed in the video - exclude drug ofcouse).

This gov't can't do anything right. That's because they have a different agenda about immigration than what it's supposed to be. Initially, the Canadian gov't would take in a certain amount of immigrants per year based on the needs of the country. All immigrants were vetted from those that applied through the proper channels i.e. LEGALLY. Canada needed certain types of workers to fill a need in a certain industry, it would prioritize those newcomers with those skills and education. But now, it's a free for all and it has nothing to do with industry nor economic needs. It's instead all about the numbers of voters that are likely to keep the Liberals in power. That's it in a nutshell. It's all about power and control. Same thing with catering to special interest groups. The gov't cares nothing about hard working middle-class taxpayers. And if this creates divisions among Canadians, too bad as long as it fills their purpose of staying in power forever. And they do it by lying and using political correctness and punishment for speaking up as a threat. Canadians are now accused of 'racism', 'Islamophobia' and 'xenophobia' if they even question the issue of immigration. It's all a political game meant to keep the politicians in control, well fed and wanting for nothing while the hard working Canadian is stressed to the max trying to make ends meet.

They all immigrate to PEI because it is the quickest way to seek citizenship in the country, as soon as they gain it they move to Ontario. I have met many wonderful people from India through work and because of our government choosing to allow so many people over here without providing proper housing for not only the new immigrants, but also for our own native born citizens, there is nothing available at any decent price for young people like myself who want to move out from their parents homes. It's also causing a lot of people to be racist towards Indians when the fault truly lies in our government. And because we are allowing so many people over here without proper background checks and things such as that we are also allowing people over here that could pose a threat to women or others. I had a cab driver last week (who was from India) who tried to hit on me and told me he left India because he was getting into too many physical fights over in India and also told me he had gotten into physical fights with some of his customers as well. It was scary for me as a woman to be in a car with that man who was taking me to my home. The government needs to do better for us. We feel alone and ignored when it comes to this. The greed pushing this stupid, and not properly thought out, immigration policy needs to be put to an end so that the people who have lived here their whole lives can get a chance at life.

I’m currently living in Canada. And I’m totally agree with the all of the points you guys covered. Even there have to be someone who can actually provide the fact on this matter to Indians because it is not worth wasting parents money.

Waiting times for HC sucks thats true.\n2. Housing crisis true. same situation everywhere not just in Canada.\n3. Medical expenses not covered??? Provincial HC covers the most. Rest is covered by insurance by employers. opt for it and there will be no problems for the expenses then.\n4. Been there for the past 5 years and i gave up my PR and returned back to India, all these points are cent percent true except for the students deportation, initially this occurred due to fraudulent admission letters to Canadian academic institutions were one of the primary reasons behind the deportation of Indian students, the scams happened in India itself, similar issues surfaced with Australia...later on new provincial laws were updated in PEI etc, where students had to face the heat of deportation. To add on the problems racism and weapon culture is also increasing day by day which makes you feel insecure. Inflation in grocery transport real estate is peaking, buying home in canada is dream if you and your spouse aren't working.

I am watching this video from Canada and I have 4 words for you - “DO NOT COME HERE!!!” Everything that was mentioned in the video is absolutely true. Canada is facing many problems, unaffordable housing, broken healthcare systems, homeless people, drugs. I am always scared to walk in downtown at night when I’m returning from work. And the worst part is, you cannot even defend yourself here if a homeless person is attacking you. If you do that you will be prosecuted saying that why did you touch that homeless guy and it is a violation of human rights, which is stupid. So does that mean that we should just let a random homeless person kill us?? How does that make sense?? My friend who was having an asthma attack had to sit in the emergency room for 8 hours. If something would have happened, who would be responsible? And the list just goes on. And what does the Canadian prime minister do about that….? Let a guy be a girl and a girls become a guy? What does that even mean??? I have nothing against the LGBTQ people. That’s your life do whatever you want, I don’t care. But there are so many other issues going on in the country and the government is focusing on allowing people to change their genders !! \nAnd the worst part is that a portion of the tax we pay from our hard earned money goes to the homeless people. And what do they do? Buy drugs and start attacking random people. Bro, I'm living in Vancouver from last year. Took 40 Lakhs of Loan for My MBA, chipped in money for fees. Till date I've got no benefit from Canada, except for bills and spending money on taxes and rent. This is damn true! - Work permits are getting queries, PR files are getting rejection. No job part time opportunities.\n\n1. Renting a room, especially for boys is the hardest if you are looking a private room. (my rent is 950$ for a private room, i struggle to pay this every month - without having a job)\n2. All banks want you to get enrolled as a student, then give credit cards, so you can easily buy things and pay them more and get you involved in the loop. \n3. I've applied in almost every job for part time, got rejection due to no available positions (Reasons : too many applicants)\n4. You are not gonna get a job in your field, unless you are into finance or IT with a found background.\n5. I DAILY SEE OUR PEOPLE ALSO GETTING ATTRACTED TO THIS CULTURE, SMOKING WEED ON A DAILY BASIS AND DOING MANY THINGS WHICH I FEEL STUDENTS MUST NOT DO. \n6. For my chest pain, they kept me waiting 4 hours in a line. Asked me that if i can stand and sit for a while then i must not worry. I was completely weak at that time, shivering and going through 101 fever.\n7. 75$ monthly for MSP insurance we pay as temporary residents -> still waiting for 4 hours to meet the doctor.\n8. Current situation of students is worse here, no opportunities for many students who come with hope, especially if they are coming for PGDM, or bachelors. Currently at this time only, MASTERS is given a priority.\n9. Don't think about applying for PR, unless you are filthy rich, unless you have exceptional skills in the industries which IRCC is looking for.\n10. Racism is at its peak, especially only on students** sad thing to say but yes this is the reality of international students.\n\n\nI hope all my brothers and sisters here come with a planning, strategy and best and worst case scenarios preparation. Canada has always been a peaceful, prosperous, progressive and a good governance oriented nation. In the recent decade, too much of woke, radical left wing ideology has penetrated into policy and public institutions that have led to Canada’s current day crisis. \n\n2. This country has always welcomed talented immigrants who are willing to integrate with the Canadian society, embrace its values, traditions and culture. However, in the last 10 years, too many refugees and reckless mass immigration has put an incredible pressure on the economy, infrastructure and social cohesion. \n\n3. The political leadership has allowed reckless mass immigration without caring to boost the economy/infrastructure to handle the volume and hence the sorry state of affairs. \n\n4. Too many immigration consultants of Indian origin engage in outright VISA frauds (yes, this is unfortunately true) leading to ppl coming in as a tourist and then seeking asylum or converting their visa into a student visa (55 year olds from Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat coming here as students).\n\n5. A significant chunk of people coming from India (esp. Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat) seeking a permanent residency in Canada are using student visas as a back door to claim eligibility for PR/citizenship. This is downright abusive and was never intended to be used like this. This has fueled a fake college diploma industry into Canada where “2-room” colleges have sprung up along the highways giving out fake diplomas and certifications for easy cash. Thus, the students, the immigration consultants and the fake diploma issuing colleges are all getting benefited from this scam. The internet is filled with such sting operations by Canadian officials exposing Indian students/immigration consultants. Do check them out. \n\n6. Unlike the past, the recent batch of immigrants in the last 3 years or so, make no effort at all to integrate into Canadian society and abuse the system, create law and order problem, drive recklessly, talk loudly in public spaces, litter everywhere, cross railway tracks like they do in India, steal liquor from stores, shamelessly collect food from food banks (as a way to save on groceries) that are meant for the elderly, disabled or those that are in utter poverty. It wasn’t like this ever before. In cities like Mississauga, Brampton and Surrey, the Khalistan movement + gangs involved in theft, drugs and human trafficking are from Punjab/Haryana and they have mushroomed here like crazy. This is the main issue in Canada. We are stuck in so many ways. Our economy is the worst in the G7, so we need to mass import migrants to artificially increase our GDP. But with that, our cost of living will artificially stay high from the increased demand on the housing. All while suppressing wages. All while our government refuses to increase our key natural exports, like crude oil, or nuclear materials. We really are in shambles. Really we need to rip the band aid off, and pause all migration from india for the next five years, not even allowing chain migration. Maintain a manageable rate of legal migration (the US normally has 1 million migrants a year as a high, to a population of 300 million). While getting our pipelines built. Stop the woke shit that is destroying us. Right now every housing project requires an 18 month pause to make sure that the native lands are recognized through a corrupt archeological study (ever since the residential school mass grave hoax). Build houses like crazy, allowing for one additional farm land residential severance. And then stop the regulatory suppression from the federal government on corporations. We have zero money being invested into Canada and it will lead to us having a worse economic outlook than Mexico in less than ten years. Imagine the world thinking of Canada as a third world country. That's where we are heading without some serious shift in how we approach our policy.

As a fairly liberal Canadian, immigration is the only subject that makes me move to the center-right politically. We don't have the ressources to feed, house and care for 1.5 million new people every year, much less the Canadians already here. Justin Trudeau has been hurting the country with his open door migration policy because he's too scared to lose his brownie points from the far left. Any other politician is too scared to say anything negative and concrete on immigration because it's considered political suicide, but the tide is changing with Canadians. We don't want anymore would be asylum seekers or foreign students working and overstaying their visas because WE CAN'T EVEN TAKE CARE OF OURSELVES ANYMORE. Yes, our birth rates are too low and we need some immigration to help close the population decline gap that will eventually come, but it can't be a free for all. We can barely afford rent, groceries, healthcare, etc. now and I fear it will only get worse in the coming years. At this point, as an early 30 something year old, I will never own a home or even be able to move without dishing out 60-80% of my income for rent. None of this is viable long term, we're reaching the point of criticality

My grip with this, as a Mexican citizen myself is all those people who enter, about 97% of them talk shit on the country they desperately escape to.

I have been living in Alberta since 2014. A two bedroom apartment near YYC was around $1350 per month in 2019, is now $2050 monthly as of July 2024. There is no cap on rent increase in Alberta so the apartment management companies and house owners are increasing the rent to whatever amount they want! The increase of immigrants moving into Calgary is worsening the housing crisis and the government has no control over this! Transit system is very weak for a fastest growing city like Calgary, not enough buses on the road which is allowing car dealers to sell cars on high prices on higher interest rate and banks and insurance companies are taking advantage of all these. Most employers in Calgary pay $17-$18 per hour maximum wage which is impossible for families to live on. Horrible time ahead for Albertans if govt. fails to take immediate action.

What's one of the main reasons why a foreign country would invite foreign workers into their country to work?? Because there are native citizens of that particular nation that don't want to work, they are lazy.. I understand the issue about overpopulation, but on the other hand, the opportunities have always been there for the natives to take advantage of, but did they?? So the government had to come up with a system to fill those vacancies, and in some cases, another reason why natives can't get a job, is because they are not qualified.. I think if an immigrant should be there with the aim to create a better life, I'm sure it can be achieved with hardwork and sacrifices, because a lot of us want to live above our means/ budget, spending more than we earn, instead of saving towards accomplishing a specific goal.. And i think a lot of people go with this false belief that that particular country is paradise, so they think as they land, their lives would be changed instantly, not knowing that they have to work very hard and make sacrifices to achieve their goals, and that's the main issue, they go without having any aims or goals, they go with the wrong mindset and attitude, and the list goes on.. And these students that are protesting, they should be trying to make a difference in the country to demonstrate to the government and the natives there that they are worthy to be a part of the nation, because they are not taking from it, but rather adding more values to it.. I think it all depends on the mindset.. And of course, i do agree that an immigrant should assimilate..

This problem compounds to so many other facets of the economy and it almost all stems from immigration of low-skill, low-quality people. The service industry takes up 70% of the jobs in Canada. This means that Service jobs can be seriously undervalued because there's no pressure on companies to provide a competitive wage. While the job itself is not high value, it's insane to me that the difference between a line coom and a store manager is 1-3$.\n\nNative Canadian students are getting royally fucked by this as they now have no way to assert their value over the value of cheap and expendable immigrant labor. Students cannot compete with immigrant students who have access to segregated housing at a cheaper pricepoint. Infrastructure isn't built to accomodate the influx of migrant workers and native Canadians are getting the rugs pulled out from under them. There is a severe lack of resources and too many people attempting to take them.

Honestly, the cost of living is high everywhere.. There is no government of any nation that really cares for the people.. I live in Jamaica, and if you don't have links, survival in this country is almost impossible, and if you should get a job, if you don't discipline yourself to live within your means/ budget, you will only find yourself in debts.. Each nation's economy will get worse.. That's why our only hope is the Lord Jesus Christ.. I understand that they are people who don't know this name and there are some that are aware of it but hate it, but the truth is, eventually we will all figure out one by one that we can't trust man, only God Almighty.. And even with the Lord on our side, we will still face difficulties, but he will always come to our rescue, we just need to trust him.. It won't get any better in these last days people, even the great USA economy is going down, because the dollars is gradually losing power and influence.. I applied for Canadian visitor visa since 70 days ago as I have all the conditions that you must have it if you want to get visa without obstacles for rejection as an official documents with financial status including bank account with title deeds for properties and long history of travel including Schengen area and UK but unfortunately today I was disappointed when I received an email from Canadian immigration visa office that I wasn't got a visa but instead I rejected and the causes first they are not sure that I will return back to my country so what else should I provided to believe me and how do they know that those who already got visa they will return back ? Do they have a magician stick ? The second reason that I am single and I don't have strong family tie in my country , the question is : are you sure that one have a family when he gets visa they don't applied for family gathering later on ? Is it normal that I put this obstacle as you should change your social affairs and get married in order to satisfy those responsible of the office and what you do after 2 years when you with USA and Mexico organize the football world cup what's the decision about giving visa to those single or not .......??????

Eh, yes, this is wrong but I live by Indians and they are the most annoying pieces of crap I have ever had to deal with. Openly take dumps in the park, wipe child's butt with t-shirt they are selling, return used under-wear, things 10 years old, expired coupons, do 30 mph on highway, 40 mph by busy-cross walk with people crossing, hit into me 3 times in a car (their fault), smell up everywhere, sit on MY car with their butts and hang out on it, I don't even have all night to go on and on....Disgusting pieces of ****\n\nNot it's not ALL of them, but I've never seen a high percentage of people be so uncivilized. Every country that pushes growth with mass immigration is doomed to fail. Ai will kill 1.6 billion jobs in the next 3 years its already hitting Banking Warehousing Administration and Retail Shopping. I’m a Canadian and my wife is an immigrant for Punjab and even she thinks this is all getting out of control. She came here to start a new life with me after we met and to get away from Indian culture which she thinks is now seeping into everything. In India it’s survival of the fittest, one must do everything they do and take advantage of everything in order to scrap by. Canada and the Canadian mindset isn’t equipped to handle that, so it’s no surprise you’re suddenly seeing Indians everywhere who are telling Indians back home how to exploit the systems to get more money fast. Hijacking what systems Canadians have to gain the social mobility that they can’t have in India but in doing so they’re making it like India. They don’t respect any other culture than their own my wife won’t even step foot in Brampton because it looks, sounds, and even starting to smell like India. And the problem is being exasperated because these people who are from very tight families are trying to bring their whole families too people who are elderly with no literacy or language skills to integrate into Canadian society to work and contribute to the economy so they just live off of their children who came first. As a Canadian Born Citizen, it’s my opinion that it’s the Islamic people who’s “holy book” teaches them to “loot and pillage” non-Muslims that is the problem, NOT people from India. Canadian here, I dont think immigration is bad during times of calm and prosperity. As long as we have the ressources to integrate immigrants into society, there's no problem with it.\nBut let's say that these days, the world as a whole isn't in a very good state. We alrealy struggle to house and feed our canadians, we can't afford to take more people that will clog the crappy health system and the rare housing left. It's completely stupid. The Trudeau government has forced all of this mass immigration on us and it is killing our economy. It used to be affordable to live in Canada, and now we are all struggling to make ends meet due to wage reduction, and rising inflation.

According to the news we broke 40 Million residents in Canada in the new year. They just announced that the Canadian population is already at 41 million as of last week. How can we absorb this many people. I would say the majority are from India. A lot of these new residents are amazing. But hear me out......For more than 70 years Canada has accepted diverse immigrants from around the world. These immigrants have always had challenges with acceptance and integration as they bought homes and had families and raised children to be Canadians. But these immigrants are economic migrants. They don't want to be Canadians like they used to. They want the PR, and the citizenship. But they want to work and move all that money out of Canada back to India. Then when they retire, they themselves will dump all their Canadian assets and move to India where cost of living and home ownership is exceedingly less expensive. Even their federal government pension plan money will move out of the country. I'll be totally truthful...MY perception of these economic migrants is that THEY HATE US. In India they are educated, come from Middle class and upper middleclass families. They want the PR and Citizenship so they can eventually pull their entire family from India over to Canada. But they have to Work at Burger king or Tim Hortons when they arrive. And the HATE and resent Canadians for it. \n Canada allows people to keep their foreign passports and citizenship. There are 300,000 people with Canadian citizenship living in Hong Kong, There are 450,000 people with Canadian citizenship living in Lebanon with a War about to expand across the border. Honestly it’s not that I’m completely opposed to immigration in the proper amounts but currently the were kinda eating a** in the housing department, so it feels as though we’re giving space for something that doesn’t completely exist yet, which is also drowning out legitimate citizens from being able to have affordable housing, therefore causing some sort of aggression towards people trying to get away from they own crap, but everyone needs housing and likes it affordable so it’s understandable. Maybe we could handle this sort of intake in like 30-50 years easily, but we’re filling a bucket that has so much going into it, I’m not knowledgeable on Canadian happenings to know all the intricacies. Though a layman could tell Justin Trudeau is a large contributor to this line of politically charged thinking that doesn’t really think about long term consequences.
