3 in 4 Canadians are immigrants wow. Housing may be a problem but who pays taxes in Canada. Want low taxes have more children that will grow up and pay taxes or don’t allow immigrants and pay more and more and more until there is no money or people. Make a choice but don’t blame it on immigrants.

Wow, they get $ 50.000 tax free dollars the first year…must be nice, I wish I made that much money. And the also get 25,000 tax free dollars to set up their house …I never got that! and they also get the child tax free benefit too…..if they have 8-10kids wow ..they are making over six figures tax free ..free dental, free RX….I have to work hard for that! No freebies for the hard working Canadian tax payers! No wonder they all want to come to Canada …the land of milk and honey and easy money…why work? Wow! That was wild. Here in San Ysidro everything was calm and actually civil. People waited their turn. I live nearby so I saw it with my own eyes. People at las Americas outlet would pass by food to them and the officers gave them the food. I was an immigrant 35 years ago I am now a us citizens and although I love the USA, I will always remember the struggles I had to go through. The hunger, the injustice, the reject and the cultural assimilation, learning a new language, and work work work until I couldn’t no more. All those efforts paid off and I believe EVERYONE has a right to have a better life. I have family members in Canada and Europe who are also immigrants and also go through these struggles. If they don’t make it to the USA, I hope the Mexican government takes advantage of this immigration influx, after all, the USA is great because of us. It’s time other countries take advantage and advance as well ??

Everytime I look at Canada I tell myself wow, what a beautiful country, but then I realized how depressing life is here in Canada. As an immigrant I have so many thing to be thankful for living in Canada,but also so many more things why I am planning to leave. Housing is unexplainablly expensive, cost of living is going too high for wags to catch up, drug problem visible in every city, mediocre jobs , unwilling government that has zero Desire to make this country grow to its full potential the list is endless. I will always love Canada, but life here isn't as good as it's portrayed to be. People just live so they can work so they can live to work again and can't even break even, many are too depressed and end up on drugs rising homelessness.

I came to Canada when I was 9 years old with my father and sister so in some ways I was young so it was easy in a way for me, but as I got older it hit me being Spanish dominican ?? the culture different it's quite obvious, you're absolutely right people stick together in their own Community or culture, and is kind of hard to make friends, I know Spanish people here in Canada Toronto but they seem to stick to themselves and you were to think because I'm also Spanish that would have been easy for me to talk to them, but is not so sadly, without offending anyone Canada is not for anyone, you gotta be strong, Brave, quick, and smart. Credit matter alot here in Canada or you're nobody, having reference matters a lot or you cannot get anything done, the level of education matter alot here in Canada, and many more.. I can go on but there pros and cons like every country, but in all honesty I don't see myself living here forever I'm planning to move.

Wow I realize how oblivious I am when out in public. Makes me wonder how many times I get racially profiled. While I can recognize there is racism, there are various factors involved for people’s behaviours.
