Italian here, 100% support to Canada. Trump, Vance and their cult are just fascist trash, and we have the duty to stand against them as much as we possibly can.

How is he defending Canadian jobs? The whole point of tarrifs is to make it unprofitable for American companies to use Canada for things like manufacturing, energy and other natural resources.\n\nThe liberal government is who made us weak where we depended on the trade deficit in our favour. If we looked at tapping our resources and finding other markets, we wouldn't be so far gone.\n\nTrudeau's answer? EI? More taxpayer debt?\n\nHe's trying to use this situation to garner support from the public. We're screwed.

Texan and Cold War veteran here. Canada has fought beside us in every major conflict and a number of small ones as well and has always been a good friend to the American people. I will do everything I can to support Canada and Ukraine and any other ally our current dis-administration attempts to bully. \n\nExcellent speech Mr. Prime Minister, you are what leadership and integrity look like and Canadians can be proud to call you their own. I don't care what side of the fence you sit on. I did not need to hear this man speak to already know Canada was, but may yet be, our greatest ally and trading partner. I have no idea what possessed Mr. Trump to decide to stab our allies in the back, but it was not something good. 27.5% of voting age adults voted for him. How many of them were serenaded by hollow promises and a good slogan. Perhaps all of the mud slinging and Russian media interference helped? If you add in our more studious teenagers, truly reformed felons, and immigrants who actually deserve a gold card, that number plummets to less than 25%. I won't ask people to wake up, if you are reading this you are already more than capable of finding out that I speak only the hard truth. This means less than a quarter of america wanted this. This means your vote and opinions DO count. I know it is incredibly difficult to reach for and find answers in a world where your president or primary candidate throws 'fake news' in your face on a regular basis. He is actually telling the truth. When he is not telling you is that he is a primary enabler of 'fake news'. To him, only his word is law, only his opinion matters, only he deserves to be on top, and he deserves authority over all of your lives. Do the right thing, we all have a civil duty to understand our candidates to the very best of our ability. When a man has been convicted of dozens of felonies, and we tell you that this is only what we were willing to expose. You may want start believing us. The genuine facts of his past are unilaterally corrupting to our children and good people alike. Do not let the american people repeat their mistakes, force Mr. Trump to atone for his mistakes. No not empower him to sweep them under the rug for the sake of his own arrogance, because that is exactly what he is doing by trying to dismantle the CIA and FBI. These two institutions are shining examples of America's pursuit of freedom and justice. Freedom to keep billionaires from corrupting the morals of our children. Freedom to know that the rule of law is immutable, our constitution is not just a paper with fancy traditional sentiment. Even if the law may sometimes be bent for the sake of decency, forgiveness, and the pursuit of 'united we stand', our constitution cannot. Amendments require the FULL support of nearly all Americans, not 27.5% of unrestricted adults.

Go after American retailers in Canada. Go after Walmart, Home Depot, Costco and Best Buy. We also have a plethora of American restaurants in Canada, Justin should tax them all. I support Trump and I support MAGA. However a president needs to keep his word and Trump appears to have broken his word here. He asked Canada to reign in illegal immigration to the US and Canada complied. He said do something about fetanyl and Canada did. Trump said the tariff's were because Canada was not acting on these but now they have and we imposed the tariff's anyway. We look like liars and cheats. \nEven with Mexico we threatened tariffs if they didn't help with crackdown on illegal immigration, fetanyl, and drug cartels. Mexico complied and is also helping us. And we still slapped tariffs on them. We lied to Mexico too. \nAnd now we want everyone to trust us to negotiate a peaceful end to the Ukraine war with Trump threatening more sanctions on China and the EU. What the heck should they trust us and believe us after what we just did. \nWhen it comes to defining your character your willingness to keep your word overrules absolutely everything else. Our president gave his word that if these countries took certain actions there would be no tariffs. They did and now he slapped them both in the face with sanctions anyway. He broke his word. This is a dishonorable action. I hope it does not escalate from there. \nIf it was about promoting or building domestic industries, I think the Canadians could have helped us with that but now.... good luck now that bridge has been burned.

As a Brazilian, i don't know why Canadians are still trying tho deal with America. It's clearly not a democratic government. Brazil and Canada has dealt for so long, it's time to increase this. Maybe they are planning something. Trump once remarked that Canada could become the U.S.'s 51st state, so perhaps he was considering a strategy to weaken the country as part of a long-term plan. He might have been looking for a justification to assert control over Canada. Additionally, his strategic support for Putin raises concerns. Trump also once suggested renaming the 'Gulf of Mexico' to the 'Gulf of America.' Considering all this, could we be on the brink of World War III?

As someone who has been leaning conservative this election I fully support this decision. This not about policy and social differences. This is about standing up to a much more powerful nation that is headed by a madman. This is an act of war.
