I grew up 30 min from the Canadian border. Canada has always been a neighbor and a friend. I cannot believe what has happened to our government and I did not vote for this. The majority of America does not want this and do not want Trump. Please know that.

As an American I'm 60 yrs old. And I totally agree With Canada's Prime Minister Trudeau 1000%. I never wanted Trump. And let's make this clear by all means. To those that voted for his dumb ass I hope u you got what you wanted. HE DOES NOT GIVE A CRAP BOUT AMERICA ONLY PUTIN WHO WITH TRUMP BEING THE ULTIMATE ASS KISSER TO HIM TO DESTROY OUR DEMOCRACY AND THE PEOPLE WITHIN IT. GOD HELP US ALL. IT'S NOT GOING TO BE PRETTY. I am American and I stand with Donald Trump. Canada needs to shut their borders down with the fentanyl. It's killing all our people they buy. What they want and they charge us a fortune. They don't do nothing for America. Canada, does everyone should do for America? As Americans stand up for the USA thank you.

I don’t stand with anyone except the UNITED STATES Of AMERICA! But I want to make something very clear. We just went through 4 years of absolute hell with The Biden administration!! No way around it. Why should we pay for everything then they want to tax us?? Should America not get something for protection of a country?? Why do we need to pay there bills? Why should we pay for a war we’re not in? Ukrainian war Americans pay?? No! Canada dosent defend themselves Americans pay?? Then when we tax them like they tax us they want to slap a gift horse in the mouth??

Why can’t we have a real leader like this! Instead we have a belligerent egomaniac Russian asset as president. He shouldn’t have even had 10% of the vote. Y’al knew better but didn’t vote better because of many superficial reasons, among them, sexism and racism. Now all of us Americans are losing. I’d love to see the day when we as Americans can come together as ONE & stand up against people like Trump that are harming all Americans. United we stand. Divided, ALL of us fall. Some of y’al thought it wouldn’t impact you even if his policies impacted others (and not you) so you didn’t care and voted for public enemy #1 despite all the warnings given. Now here we are. I really truly hope that America has a whole will look at ourselves in the mirror at what we’ve allowed to be, and change our ways by coming together as one country that wants to see Americans do well and be good and be able to take care of their families, regardless of race or sex, or gender, immigration status or any of the superficial barriers.

Maybe building a Boarder Wall on America's Northern Boarder would be a good idea. Canada is responsible to guard our boarders and allow in only those who we feel qualify. Canada does not close it's boarders to those who wish to leave, nor does the United States close it's boarders to those who wish to leave. The United States is free to put up a wall and a boarder crossing anywhere you wish, stop whoever you want to stop from entering your country. I can tell you that The fastest Boarder Wall that I have ever seen go up is the one that Trump just raised between the United States and Canada, the Tariff Wall. What you have done is put signs on our shelves, buy Canadian. You have taken American Product from the top shelf, to the verry bottom shelf, behind the Made in China. You have closed the Travel Agencies to United States travel, nobody wants to go to your country, and I heard that there is going to be a 250% Tariff on hotel accommodations for Americans visiting Canada. It is not only about the Tariffs on Canada, who Used to be your friends, it is about your new friend Russia, who support Terrorist organizations all over the world, including the ones in Gaza who held Americans Hostage, who supports IRAN who supports Russia in murdering and raping women, kidnapping children in Ukraine, torturing and murdering citizens with their hands tied behind their backs. If this is what America supports, if this is what America does to its Ally's, I hope the taps for the oil and the switch for the electricity are turned off, and we never have to worry about each other ever again.\n\nCanada is a country with an Area roughly the size of the United States, with a population 340 Million is 8 1/2 times larger than Canada at $40 Million, with a GDP 9 1/2 times larger than Canada. I'm Canadian and I highly dislike Trudeau. But he is correct when he asks how do you negotiate with someone who wants to annex your country? As a Liberal and someone who votes Democrat, Canada I am so sorry. Please know that this is NOT what we voted for, and NOT what we want. I see this as nothing less than Trump wanting to do to Canada a slightly more palatable version of what Putin is doing to Ukraine. Trump has openly said he wants Canada to become the 51st state, even though this is a huge ask as Canada has a population larger than any US state (California is close in population size), Canada has a land mass nearly the size of the US and, including water mass, Canada has a larger overall area than the US. Trump also wants Iceland to be owned by America. He has become power crazy during a war because this is his only chance to stoke his ego to undreamable levels. Trump wants to be America's Putin.
