As an American, I really liked Trudeau's speech. I thought he did a great job explaining everything and responding to this situation. I appreciate his words to the American people. There's just one thing he said that was inaccurate... trump is NOT a smart guy!!

All I can say is I am sorry, embarrassed, and ashamed of my broken country's politicians in Washington, D.C. at present. As an American I am so disheartened about things going on at the White House. A lot of us didn’t vote for this mess and their stupidness. I am so unhappy and disgusted. Donald Trump needs to be in jail not sitting in White House being a demanding bully. This is a nightmare, the last 2 months have been a nightmare. I am among those who started pushing back before trump took office, many are. We’re watching legislation and countering it. I could not be more assured,as a Canadian, by the great unscripted,direct speech our leader,Prime Minister Trudeau, has delivered to Canadians and Americans. Everyday people will hurt through this and remember, it will not affect the oligarchy Trump has created, because they can withstand downturns in economies through wealth. This means that Trudeau himself is measuring his words and deliberately using diplomatic language. He even says that Trump is “intelligent”, which only plays into the imbecile’s unfortunate NPD psychology! The unwillingness to stand strong against American tyranny is harming democracy worldwide! Force Trump to declare a side! And make him choose Putin or democracy NOW!! If you fail to do that, you are taking the path of accommodation, and if Trump is really a tyrant (which he surely is, because of MANY evidences!!), democratic countries weaken their position by not standing strong NOW. If Europe and Canada and Mexico ban Tesla imports and place 50% tariffs on tens of billions of dollars of American products, what would happen? Are these countries AFRAID of the United States? This is not the time for fear! This is the time for courage! Boycott!!!
