I am a new permanent resident in Canada. This video is very true regarding our integration. You are absolutely right. Newcomers must integrate, as it is the beginning of a new life in a new environment. What I do not fully agree with is when you complain about the social benefits given by the government to newcomers. It is not free money; we will pay it back later in taxes. We cannot build life projects depending on these benefits. Ask each newcomer if they are satisfied with these benefits rather than a good job. We want to contribute to the economy of this beautiful country. For example, I came to Canada with specific goals, including starting an IT company, which was difficult to achieve at home due to lack of opportunities. So, don't blame immigrants too much; in my opinion, responsibilities should be shared among all of us, including the government.

1. The PROBLEM is WHO Canada lets in! ANYONE that has applied for Asylum, should be rounded up and deported, many of them were DENIED Asylum by the U.S. and other countries because they have ties to Terrorist or Criminal Organizations! (I could post a List of Known Terrorist Groups Operating in Canada, Most are from Muslim countries, India, Pakistan, and Palestine!) 2. Any Immigrant that REFUSE to comply with Canadian Laws needs to be Deported! (Example: Not having to wear motorcycle helmets for "Religious reasons" and that kind of stuff!) 3. If an Immigrant commits a crime it is INSTANT DEPORTATION, never to be allowed Entry Again! (including any and all members of their Families!) 4. Canada needs to STOP subsidizing these Immigrants PAY! You want to come to work, Fine You EARN your ENTIRE Pay Check like everyone else does! (I know at least ONE Employer that is Scamming part of the Subsidy for themselves instead of paying workers what they are supposed to pay them! I am sure there are others!) 5. If you throw a protest for a Known Terror group, INSTANT Deportation!

I feel very sad because, in the end, all immigrants end up paying the price for the bad attitudes of a few. I speak especially from the perspective of Latin American immigrants: we are not the majority in Canada, but we come with the intention of adapting, of including ourselves in the local culture, and of contributing the best we can. Our culture is not so distant — we share religion, family values, and lifestyle — and we arrive with the willingness to integrate, not to impose. Even so, for us the path is extremely difficult: getting permanent residency and, eventually, citizenship is a long, expensive, and complicated process. And we do it, we comply with the rules, we respect, we pay everything. What hurts is seeing that some other groups arrive with a different attitude: instead of integrating, they want to impose their culture, their religion, even their body odors, and if you make a face or express discomfort, they immediately take it as “discrimination.” It is not fair that, for example, my child should stop bringing meat in his lunch just because another child bullies him saying he is “a filthy sinner.” Inclusion should be mutual, an effort on both sides, not a one-sided demand.

Even the 2nd generation info Canadians I grew up hate these new fucking wave it isn't a white vs brown it's Canadians vs those who won't adapt My wife's Russian speaks Russian my kids speak Russian So I'm not against immigration People saying they can't find work just aren't willing to look around in my city I can think of 10 plus company's hiring but it's construction but immigrants look down on it as it was low paying not respected etc back home Prime example is central america

I barely see a canadian working a minimum job.. and I know its not because they are not applying. They simply want to hire mainly Indians because they know they will work even on holidays. Its disgusting. Even immigrants for example Caribbean or african descent are having trouble finding a regular job here. Its all given to Indian people. Once one gets hired, they choose to only hire them and their friends.

I have to say the video at 25:00 really looks like AI generated. While not inaccurate of experiences i think more weight would be given for real world examples.

White christian should lead by example and say Fuck jesus and the bible and follow the Native culture and religion . Lets start by this then we can ask not white immigrant to do the same

As an immigrant I highly agree…IF YOU CAME TO ANOTHER COUNTRY FOR A BETTER AND PEACEFUL LIFE YOU SHOULD EMIGRATE, RESPECT AND BECOME PART OF THAT COUNTRYS’ CULTURE AND NOT TRY TO DESTROY IT. Cause I’m sure that tourist who visit certain countries are expected to do the same . For example if I wanted to travel to a Middle Eastern Country I would have to wear a Burka or another form of head covering even though that’s not what I’m use to. So yea…If you can’t respect Canada for its culture STAY IN YOUR COUNTRY OF BIRTH AND STOP TRYING TO CONFORM CANADA INTO SUCH.

As a beloved-canada, i give 2 advice. The first, canada needs not only limit immigration but also set/establish quota for each regions/countries where have a huge number immigants apply to canada (for example: india 30.000 immigrant/year, china 20.000 immigrants/year,....). The second, canada must empower for each territories/provinces to decide how much foreign people can study/work/live in there

If I remember right canada first house crises was in the 19’s something and back then they started making more houses to resolved this problem………………..,… And I am thinking that getting immigrants from only 1 country might not be good, because of countries, society mentality…………. One Example ; a-lot people in the USA are strong guns advocate, if Canada only get people from the US and because the majority of Americans love their guns, they may advocate to have more guns freedom in Canada and teach their children guns loving mentality. So it is probably best to mix individual from various country to minimize this outcome. ………………. In any case immigration are very important for countries whom don’t make a lot of babies, to survive and stay strong in today’s world where weak countries are getting crushed by strong countries……………… what make countries strong is their population, where government take taxes to pay and buy defensive guns to defend a country without the need to go into dept and sell its soul to powerful countries. I did not go to any university and yet I was able to understand this …

Yep we are screwed big time, here in Moncton New Brunswick we only used to have a small number of Immigrants usually a mix of francophone students and refugees properly vetted by immigration. Jobs were available for everyone, a small example is the taxi cab drivers who were usually a mix of older semi retired Canadians, Sudanese and Syrian refugees who communicated well and tried to adapt to their new home, Canada. COVID hit and we started seeing Punjabi’s coming in unprecedented numbers, they say as students, from Brampton Ontario?Overnight all Walmart, Taxi/Truck Driving jobs, Tim Hortons, McDonalds were Punjabi jobs who do we blame? Rents are high, jobs once available are unavailable life has become hard where do we run same people voted again for the same government that has destroyed us 😢😢😢.

Trump is working hard to become the most hated president in U.S, history. He is a textbook example of the combination of ignorance and arrogance. We must find legal and constitutional means to impeach, remove, and arrest Trump. He is a Russian asset. He will take acts such as firing FBI agents to cover his crimes. This is obstruction of justice. We need to legally and constitutionally remove the Trump regime and bring them to justice.

Donald Trump DIPLOMACY HAS A VERY NIG DIFFERENCE FROM ARROGANCE.. \n\nLEAD WITH RESPECT NOT THREAT..\nLEAD AS BY EXAMPLE NOT A DESTRUCTION..

Note yourselves: he doesn't take one moment to look away from the people he`s speaking to. He`s direct, comes with the real facts (which he remembers directly from his head) and most importantly; doesn't read from any manuscript. \nThis is a prime example of a real leader in the free world.

Justin Trudeau is an example of how a leader should speak.

The United States has elected a president who is turning its longest-standing allies into adversaries. This isn't just about Canada. The entire Western world is watching. While the U.S. has the power to harm its allies, those allies also have the ability to push back, and the USA is rapidly losing friends who may not return. As America’s alliances weaken, so do the obstacles its rivals face. \n\nTake Australia, for example. Should it continue aligning with the U.S. in the Asia-Pacific region? Should it continue hosting critical American surveillance infrastructure? Should it keep supporting and supplying the U.S. fleet? The USA enjoys a trade surplus with us, but do we need to spend USD$50 billion over the next decade buying your hardware? The Europeans seem to be a more trustworthy ally, who don't make us a target.\n\nThe USA would argue that their presence ensures security, but the reality is that countries like Australia only face threats because they are tied to U.S. strategic interests. Perhaps a more pragmatic approach that avoids unnecessary antagonism with China would serve us better. \n\nAs for Canada, it will adapt and find new trading partners, just as Australia did when China attempted economic coercion. And through it all, Canada, know that Australia will stand with you—always.

TRUMP IS KGB AGENT The The material “Trump is a KGB agent” is based on exclusive information received from a former high-ranking employee of the GRU of the USSR Ministry of Defense (Soviet intelligence). For the first time, shocking details of Donald Trump's years-long cooperation with the KGB and FSB are revealed. According to the insider, Russian intelligence services not only recruited him back in 1978, but also played a key role in winning the 2024 election. This data could be the basis for impeachment and even charges of treason. \n \nAleksandr Sotnik (born 1968) is an independent journalist, publicist, analyst and writer. Since 2012, he has covered protest actions across Russia, and was one of the few reporters who documented events in the midst of political crises. In 2014, he founded the independent channel Sotnik-TV, where he published interviews with leading opposition figures, including Boris Nemtsov, Garry Kasparov and others. \nAs an active participant in civil society, he took part in organizing the March Against Scoundrels (2013), the Peace March (2014) and other protest events. In 2018, due to threats of physical violence, he was forced to leave Russia with his family. First he lived in Lithuania, then moved to Slovakia, where he continues his activities as an independent journalist and publicist. \nIn 2023, the Russian authorities added him to the Rosfinmonitoring register as an “extremist and terrorist”, which was yet another example of political pressure on independent journalists. \nToday, Alexander Sotnik continues to work in exile and remains one of the most consistent independent political analysts and journalists exposing the Russian political system and its mechanisms of influen

Canada already had tariffs on certain U.S. goods before the recent trade disputes escalated in 2025. Historically, Canada has maintained tariffs on various American products to protect its domestic industries, particularly in sectors like agriculture and manufacturing. For example, under the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (USMCA), which replaced NAFTA and was signed during Donald Trump’s first term, trade between the U.S. and Canada is largely tariff-free for many goods. However, Canada has long imposed high tariffs on specific U.S. products outside of these agreements, such as dairy, poultry, and eggs, under its supply management system. These tariffs can reach up to 270% on milk, 245% on cheese, and nearly 300% on butter, designed to shield Canadian producers from foreign competition.\n\nAdditionally, Canada has applied tariffs on other U.S. goods over the years, often in response to trade disputes or to balance economic interests. For instance, before the latest round of tariffs in 2025, Canada had tariffs on thousands of product categories, though the exact scope and rates varied depending on the goods and trade agreements in place. Posts found on X also highlight sentiment that Canada has had tariffs on U.S. products like dairy and cars for decades, with some claiming rates as high as 25% on U.S. vehicles—though this may reflect specific cases rather than a blanket policy.\n\nIn contrast, the U.S. generally did not impose broad tariffs on Canadian goods until recent actions under President Trump, who introduced a 25% tariff on Canadian imports effective March 4, 2025, prompting Canada to retaliate with reciprocal 25% tariffs on CA$155 billion of U.S. goods. This retaliation built on Canada’s existing tariff framework but escalated the scale significantly. So, while Canada did have tariffs on U.S. goods beforehand, the current trade war has intensified the situation far beyond the pre-existing measures

Appreciate Trudeau's matured, courageous, sober, responsible speech. Trump and his pals in the white house now seem like the most immatured bunch of people compared to Trudeau, Zelensky, Macron etc. These young people are a great example for the old Donald.

Canada has been acting as part of US for years, taking orders from the US regardless of Canadian interest, for example arresting Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou per US order. Why not agree to become the 51th state of the US?

Has anyone looked at tariffs Canada as been putting on US imports? For example milk gets an over 100% tariff F Canada let’s see how long you can hold out

As a Canadian myself,,, I am more than desepointed about all of this… Because to me, The United States Of America,,, they were the perfect example of what it was to be a true hero! But now,,, because of one person,,, it has turned to a True Dictatorship… And,,, as Canadians,,, we must be hopeful that America will be once again this Really great Country of Brotherhood and also, it will become once again this Land Of Peace And Prosperity that we desperately need right now! Because I am positive,,, still positive that we will be together once again; just like we have been for a very long long time!!! I am Very Hopeful!!! Yes, it will be very hard for both of us and that includes for Mexico as well, but,,, we will win together and,,, just like we did with Hitler, we will stop this Dictatorship from conquering this world. So, Thanks so Much CNN,,, Love You All So Very Much Guys!!! Hope that everything will go well for all of you out there because I love you So Very Much Everyone! So, Let’s all hope for the best for all of us: Canadians, Mexicans and Americans and,,, Hope that we can stop this war between all of us… XOOXXO!!!! From: @Philippe Bouchard!!!! (From: Clair New-Brunswick Canada)!!!!!! ?????????????????????❤❤❤❤❤

I do agree with you for some things but not all and i do think it was your best speach since 9 years but it does not take away what you have done wrong over your 9 years attacking freely canadien on there rights example:hunting right, sportshooting rights and freedom of expressing, running after the wrong person example:taking away legal firearms when they are not the problem since 80% of illegal firearms comes from outside the canada, I think that trump is just not taking canada seriously, over the past years since you are in power, canada has made a very bad name except for the freedom convye, which in that case made canadien stick together while you steaded in your office,i do think that a new leader/party should take place and give a chance for canada to walk out the mase you have done over 9 years

Just a reminder, Canada/Trudeau commited multiple atrocities against free speech and wellbeing during covid. One example being how they froze the bank accounts of people peacefully protesting the covid mandates. While I don't agree with the tariffs, everybody here should know Canada isnt the perfect, kind, friendly place you think it is. They will turn totalitarian if given enough power or given the right conditions for it.

-DEAR AMERICANS ..., this video is a prime example of why the USA needs to stop depending so much on other countries for so much importing and start investing in building and start manufacturing products again in the US like it used to be and keeping our farmlands IS VERY IMPORTANT also. Now you see the other side to alot of what's going on , it's important for America as a whole. If you don't understand why manufacturing/ farming/ and investing into some independence like other countries is important ....now you know!!! . Yes their are always gonna be trades and we need them also, But USA is like totally relying on other countries for everything!! We have nothing to offer of value anymore as a country or trade!! \n\n Hopefully the leaders in charge work with these trade countries and they come to fair agreements in fairness and the best intrest of Canada and USA .

Trump is in it for destruction, the more complete the destruction the better. USAID destruction is only an example. Trump will continue to destroy and destroy because his whole agenda from the very beginning is to destroy rather than to build, that’s his design his way to get the most attention, building and constructing is tedious and long term and requires sacrifices, and does not garner him the blasting short term attention he needs, he will never build. He will destroy everything until he dies and his end goal is to go out with a Bang destroying the entire US of A and killing everyone with him. That’s what Hitler did to German just before he died. That is Trump. Trump is America and America has always been Trump?

Canada is 347 0ut of 348, global container ports, Trudeau stymied growth, infrastructure, and Canadas future, he blames the USA, for his only push three issues, LBGt, carbon tax and Dei... Why no new industries built in Canada, we essentially only sell cars and oil to the USA at 20% discount. Try buying Canadian, but these are all foreign products, because Canadian bureaucracy and poor productivity, ie, unions and government employees all at home. EXAMPLE, after owning hunting rifles for sixty year, Trudeau minions, contacted my at least six time when I attempted to renew my firearms licence, even phoning my wife for a old man... Go figure, Trudeau only knows how to Hire voters... The problem is Trudeau, you voted for it so now you will pay!!!

Cars, for example, are made by american countries anyway (Ford, GM etc). Australia is being punished for aluminium exports to the US. And the largest company involved in this.....ALCOA. Another american company. The orange one and his stupiid sidekick seem to have no idea how international trade works, especially if you are punishing mostly american internationals. Just look how he has punished the DOW. Americans are going to suffer even more in the future.

Liar47 is implementing these tariffs thinking he can mislead and/or convince putin/russians to overlook all u.s transgressions against russia since the early nineties and work as a friend of the usa...\nThis is a quintessential example of the danger of believing what you think and/or your own narrative outcome... \n This liar47 created western dog and pony show is transparent to the non-european world...\nNEWS FLASH to all western players in this game... a] russia will never be a western world ally or trusted friend--it would be fatal, b] russia will not betray brics nations, c] russia will not stop selling military weapons and essential support to natural resource rich southern hemisphere nations...\nIt's a fools objective spearheaded by the genius-in-charge...

Most of the world have had enough of Tramp, there is a lot of people around the world who will refuse to purchase American goods from now on and the diplomatic fallout will last for a couple of terms. Tramp will probably move to put tariffs on goods from the EU and their retaliatory tariffs will result in a 25% increase in the price of everyday products that the American public purchase. If tariffs are imposed on the EU that will mean at least 70% of American goods will have tariffs on them. Tramps next book will be, how to crash an economy within two months of taking office, so much for the art of the deal! This is a really pointless interneine trade war and the collaborator in chief getting cosy with Russia is another example of Tramps deranged priorities.
2025-03-04 0
I don't care what side of the fence you sit on. I did not need to hear this man speak to already know Canada was, but may yet be, our greatest ally and trading partner. I have no idea what possessed Mr. Trump to decide to stab our allies in the back, but it was not something good. 27.5% of voting age adults voted for him. How many of them were serenaded by hollow promises and a good slogan. Perhaps all of the mud slinging and Russian media interference helped? If you add in our more studious teenagers, truly reformed felons, and immigrants who actually deserve a gold card, that number plummets to less than 25%. I won't ask people to wake up, if you are reading this you are already more than capable of finding out that I speak only the hard truth. This means less than a quarter of america wanted this. This means your vote and opinions DO count. I know it is incredibly difficult to reach for and find answers in a world where your president or primary candidate throws 'fake news' in your face on a regular basis. He is actually telling the truth. When he is not telling you is that he is a primary enabler of 'fake news'. To him, only his word is law, only his opinion matters, only he deserves to be on top, and he deserves authority over all of your lives. Do the right thing, we all have a civil duty to understand our candidates to the very best of our ability. When a man has been convicted of dozens of felonies, and we tell you that this is only what we were willing to expose. You may want start believing us. The genuine facts of his past are unilaterally corrupting to our children and good people alike. Do not let the american people repeat their mistakes, force Mr. Trump to atone for his mistakes. No not empower him to sweep them under the rug for the sake of his own arrogance, because that is exactly what he is doing by trying to dismantle the CIA and FBI. These two institutions are shining examples of America's pursuit of freedom and justice. Freedom to keep billionaires from corrupting the morals of our children. Freedom to know that the rule of law is immutable, our constitution is not just a paper with fancy traditional sentiment. Even if the law may sometimes be bent for the sake of decency, forgiveness, and the pursuit of 'united we stand', our constitution cannot. Amendments require the FULL support of nearly all Americans, not 27.5% of unrestricted adults.

Yall are mad because America wants to play fair now, you're an ally not a state womp womp dont be mad when Americans prioritize their needs first. Tarrifs will make the lifes of all Americans better in the long run aka less taxes. Our country has been depleted and its time we woroked on ourselves. Prime example California? hole.

Trudeau is an example of someone who is willing to say the truth about this U.S. renegade executive office passing policies that hurt both Canadian and U.S. economy. \n Republicans who are spineless are not willing to do this. Thank you, Trudeau
