I am living to escape the extreme toxicity of everything we eat. Our wheat is not even accepted anymore in several European countries, we have 150% more authorized dangerous substances than European countries and I myself developed a gluten allergy from what I ate here. Everything is swimming in glyphosate, dicamba and paraquat, even organic food is now contaminated. It is a matter of time before everyone living here develops the worst kind of cancer there is.

In the past 2 years - I have spent 3 months in Toronto, and last year, 3 months in Montreal...and it is like the Tale of Two Cities! In Toronto, I stayed at a friend's off the park that abuts Queens St, and Dundas St. on the far side. I barely got a good night's sleep - from the constant wailing of Sirens at ALL Hours of the night/early morning! I witnessed several incidents of random violence - including on the trolly cars, and many of them involving homeless Indigenous people ...who were historically shit-on by Canada! In comparison to US Cities - Toronto minded me of problem-plagued SF, Seattle, and Portland. The Density factor reminded me of NYC, minus the Positive Street savvy that New Yorkers have in spades! I did meet some very nice people, but overall - Torontonians were uptight, concerned about money all the time, and sometimes - just downright rude! Fast-Forward to Montreal. I stayed in Le Plateau...renting a room for 3 months. Lovely House-mates - One Turkish/Polish Woman, and an Iranian Man - both were quirky, and Delightful! My rent was very decent, and my Host showed me all the affordable places to eat, swim for free, free Yoga in the parks...within 2 days, I felt at Home! It was 3 days before I even noticed a siren! Drivers stoped for pedestrians, and as it was summer - the bike-lanes were full of bike riders! The Green Spaces were plentiful, and Parc Mount Royal is a Terrestrial Paradise! Were there some social issues? - of Course! French being the official language, the Quebecois are a VERY Proud, and defiant lot! That was difficult at first, and then...learning some history of Quebec, you begin to understand their irascible defenses! There was some homelessness (a Fraction of what I see in the US, and Toronto!), and prices are creeping-up (the common complaint!), and there was a lot of construction, and road repairs - as Quebec is NOT a wealthy part of Canada, overall. In short - I miss Montreal DEEPLY! Toronto? - I have a good friend there, and I hope to see a few of the folks I met there, Again. Travel Impressions are mainly subjective, but I know where my heart, and affection lie!

only immigrants will leave are students and people who just got fed up paying higher bills because after all if you make 35k to 75k and you need 3 jobs just to eat and pay bills why even stay here when back home is much cheaper , india does have 1 billion people and there cheaper to live there and they have cheap health care and cheap food , there is big difference between canada which is only 40 million and vers india 1 billion of people and yet there prices are cheaper and yet our prices just out right crazy !

It happens depending on your area but the extent ya'll here in the comments think the profiling is racial, borders on fantasy. Awfully convenient when influencers or social experiments set out to record being racially profiled and the footage never fails to show that even once.\n\nI got homies like this who get tracked in stores an swear it's cuz their skin color. Yet I'm darker than them and when I goto the same places nobody cares. Either we have extremely specific racists here or the problem is them. While there might be wonderful places to see, and interesting people to meet and food to eat, I would never even visit there for more than a day or 2.\n\nSome times traveling by road, it is faster to drive through the states to get to other parts of Canada, and that level of visiting would be barely ok.\n\nYour government is actively making it unsafe to be alive there, for so many types of people. Unless you are part of the elite, making gallons of money, your government doesn't even want you to live. It's horrific.\n\nAmerica is bad y'all. Just so bad.

I worked in Taiwan before. Even a minimum wage convenience store clerk can earn more than in Canada. I can buy more McDonald's hamburger, eating out 3 meals everyday, fewer days of salary to pay rent.(almost half)for example, Any minimum wage workers in Taiwan can rent a room by working less than 3 days, but in Canada a room is $600 which needs 6 days wage to pay the rent. And TTC bus and subway monthly fee is $155/. It needs 1.5 days' salary to buy it. Comparing to Taipei, it costs only less than 1 days' salary to buy the bus and subway monthly card.

My family moved 22 years ago from Mumbai to Toronto…while the struggles said on your channel are real, there are also perks which I feel like you didn’t get to experience. If people have good jobs, stable family life then DON’T move…culture shock is huge that people moving from India don’t consider, just by wearing and eating western food doesn’t make you western! \nThere are sacrifices to be expected which you don’t realized as your great grandparents or grandparents might have made when they started out! \nMoving to another country is never easy, unless you’re loaded with $$$. People in India are lazy as they have people working for them and don’t realize how difficult it is living outside of that lifestyle (not everyone in India can afford housekeepers, cleaners). Being independent and doing things on your own has its own positive (just need to figure it out). \n\nI have worked in healthcare for 16 years and let me tell you…social system works better as everyone gets the health service without being judged about $$. Healthcare is based on priority around the world but people don’t understand this as they feel like their problem should be attended first no matter what! \nNot all drugs are legal in Canada, marijuana is legal though with acceptable limits…you probably were misinformed about drugs! Teach your kids about right /wrong when it comes to drugs, smoking, alcohol and that’s the best you can do! I know people who live in India and do all that which you mentioned you were worried about for your kids. \n\nWhat you experienced was a classic case of culture shock and your expectations didn’t match the reality! Moving away from family, changing lifestyle and being responsible adult (doing things on your own rather than relying on workers) is difficult but doesn’t make the country bad that have you an opportunity to settle! Don’t take things for granted even while you live in India…appreciate the effort that goes into everything- keeping roads clean, people working hard, etc. \n\nBest advice I can give to those considering moving to any foreign country is: Keep an open mind, be ready to work hard and visit the country you want to move to before you make the grave decision of uprooting everything! Things usually turn around and get better after 5 years mark- focus on upgrading your education if you have a basic degree from India (even you know how competitive things are in India, so how can western world not be!)\n\nBeing vegetarian- things are tough when it comes to food but living in Toronto has never been an issue. Even people living in India avoid outside food due to hygiene reason which is not a problem in Canada as food inspection is pretty strict (having worked with ministry of health). \nCities like Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, etc has variety of food options (including veg)…just have to be really open to trying other cultural food (Asian, Mediterranean, Italian,Mexican, etc). My parents are strict vegetarians and have never truly struggled when they are out. \n\nCost of living is definitely higher as the standard living is higher compared to India. Education (until grade 12) and healthcare are free (in reality, you pay tax for it), you get pension when you retire (based on your contributions and type of jobs you had)…you failed to navigate the system and I will say having family around is why you didn’t take opportunity to explore and learn on your own. \n\nPlease don’t come to Canada and make life difficult for other Indians who choose to willingly accept the culture and lifestyle here after going through this hardship- cost of living and housing has gone up dramatically in major cities because of immigration influx! If you’re serious about moving and putting up, only then move! Otherwise all the best for your future endeavours!

People are using credit to be able to eat food. Housing is unaffordable even with a higher than average salary. You don't even see this in some third world countries...

It’s Saudi Arabia…arguably the United States biggest ally in the Middle East other then the state that is forcing the Palestinians off their land has been doing so since the post WWII Era. The US is a power that has and continues to support Israel and Israel is forcing the Palestinians off their land so if the Saudis are not gonna support a country or work with a country that supports the removal of Palestinians then they need to stop taking American money and stop being the US biggest ally, also idk why you all praise him, talk is cheap and the Arab world hasn’t done much about israel continuing to eat away at the Palestinian state, if SA truly believes that Palestine isn’t going to be forced off the world map then SA should start supporting Palestine, he didn’t even agree to let in refugees..not sure where all the praise is coming from he talks like a politician, he avoided the actual question and says what the people wanna hear despite not making efforts to make that happen.

All of those issues are the same in any OCDE country. \n\nHousing market is shit in Europe too, even worse I would say, but at least they have decent public transports, so you can live outside a city and still go to your work fast. That’s the only real advantage. (Okay maybe construction quality and norms also)\n\nFrom experience, aka a French software engineer now living in Quebec, cost of life is waaaaaaay cheaper here than in Europe. I just don’t buy shitty stuff I don’t need, and eat responsibly. \n\nSure Canada have a lot of issue. Probably due to the current liberal government and the usamerican capitalism, healthcare is in shambles (as any other healthcare system in OCDE), public transport is non existant, etc. \nWherever you go, at some different levels, theses are issues you find in any developed countries because this is just how we made our society and how it’s deteriorating because our model is just bad overall. \n\nI do have gripes with Quebec stuff, which I think it’s one of the worst province in the country, but as far as I’m concerned, as well as most of my immigrant friends, this is still a prime country to immigrate to. \n\nAlso, the Canadians are really welcoming, progressive, kind. (In general, not all of them, don’t get me wrong)\nOne of the best people I’ve encountered and this is very important when you immigrate somewhere.

With 9 month of experience, I am truly considering going back to my country, here you cannot get a job related to the degree that you have even having 3 years experience with. They will pay the lowest in the low despite the Glassdoor average salary. Add on the high living cost and complex extremely long hiring process, there is no good career path and is all about survival. Sorry to say, but when locals are struggling, I don’t understand why asking foreigners to come… Pretty much many of us and locals are so disappointed+angry+frustrating, this country drain all my saving, I come here to work, not purely let Canada eating all my money. And yes, they said value education, but a degree will not let you to get an entry admin job cus they expected Master degree, lasting many of their systems and 10 years experience. Moreover, if you don’t have a car, the job will not consider you no matter it is an entry position.

They show a lot of grocery stores when they talk about monopolies, but it’s in everything. When I was getting my internet set up I found out only one of the two main companies in Canada is provided for my area (they do this on purpose). So I pay over $100 a month just for internet. And literally have no other cheaper option other than living with no internet. (I’m in a small town so there aren’t even any cafes or anything to pop into). And live alone. Another thing, we’ve got a big country, and I live in a rural community, so most of my colleagues drive at least 45 minutes to get to work, one way, because they’d rather live in the city. And this is NB so you can’t take public transportation like trains to get here, you’re driving on the highway to get here. Since the pandemic houses have more than doubled, I did get a raise, but it was I think 4% over the last three years. So cost of living is definitely increasing at a much higher rate. Before the pandemic I could buy a week of groceries for one person for $60, now it’s more than $100 for a week easily, and that’s with looking for bargains and reducing the amount of meat and fresh produce I eat. It can’t keep getting worse, because people already can’t afford it, so something is going to have to change before everything breaks completely.

Canada has been turned into a woke hellhole now. The price of living is insane I dont understand how anyone can afford to live after paying the crazy rents and expensive food and bills. The communist gov is out of control as well. I can not wait to retire and got out of this place. Voters are braindead is all I can come up with... I just dont get it. The biggest lie canadians eat up is that they live in a free country... they have no clue just how controlled they are. Also, I have lost so many friends because of their willingness to fall for the brainwashing. I was attacked a number of times by work friends and friends outside of work because I refused to sit their and keep my mouth shut as they all partook in the relentless bashing of conservatives and white people in general. Im actually openly gay and let me tell you.. gay people are some of the most gullible little minions the left has. The fact that I was not braindead leftist and gay made me even more of a target and it still happens to this day. Im retiring in 4 years and moving to Dallas where I have a brother. He LOVEs it there and says its the least woke place he has ever been in the US so wish me luck

Their hiring system is broken with 99% referral, long and never open job applications, pairing with unrealistic expectations for entry levels, plus they don’t like to train, cannot even get an admin job in a better wage with a BA degree. Many even locals are unemployed with gaps over 7 months, also they cannot switch jobs freely… Once thought I can leverage my skills for the country and together create a better community for everyone, but I’m wrong, everyone is struggling, sinking, and I think I can’t survive here as the rent is really eating me up. Glad I haven’t go for immigration to CA, and I will go back to my home country for my career path, batter pay and at least I can survive…

1) Toronto is poor value. Getting housing of any kind (buying or renting) is stupidly expensive. And the quality you get for the price is lousy. Especially the newer builds, which are just thrown up as quickly as possible and sold to investors. Policy measures generally all seem to serve to just inflate the price of housing further. The occasional lip service given to affordability is amusing, but ultimately sad. There are lots of people who really do not want the housing bubble to pop. They will fight against it with all they have.\n\n2) It has become kind of boring. There is lots to do if you have money, but it’s harder to find entertainment on a budget. Even the free stuff like parks are filling up. Stuff like sporting events, eating out, going out is very costly across the board. Even the “cheaper” stuff is expensive. It seems like a lot of local culture is disappearing. Even the cool neighbourhoods are filling up with the same chains. I think the high commercial rent and bureaucracy is deflating a lot of would-be entrepreneurs. Most landowners seem to just be banking on cashing out their land for condos.\n\n3) Canada overall has a high cost of living compared to salaries. In the US you can find lower cost of living areas that still give you a real city experience. And in Europe you can be poor but still live a decent, if no frills, life. In Canada the basic necessities are all expensive. Phone bills, grocery bills, rent, insurance are through the roof. Domestic travel is expensive. And the dollar sucks if you want to travel abroad. Health care is free but good luck finding a family doctor or waiting 8 hours in the ER these days. It’s expensive to be poor, or even middle class.\n\n4) Most of the Greater Toronto Area, outside the core, is soulless suburbs with awful transit - very “American” except with worse traffic congestion. You will need a car, which is another huge cost. Row upon row of old cookie cutter suburbs with the same crappy houses. Good luck walking anywhere, and if you do you will need to walk down boring, treeless arterial roads with cars zooming past right beside you, and cross giant eight lane intersections that were never built for humans on foot. In a rainstorm or on a fall evening you have to be really careful not to be run over by aggressive drivers.\n\n5) It is hard to raise a family in an apartment here. You can do it but it’s not very easy, and also you are still kind of judged for it. Lots of young people are feeling stuck and are deferring or avoiding starting a family. Buying any type of house, even a basic townhouse, requires pledging your soul to a bank by taking a massive mortgage with eye watering debt in a volatile market. But few apartment buildings have the kind of sensible gentle density, the family unit sizes and the common amenities, like little courtyards with jungle gyms, that you might find in Europe. No one ever contemplated that anyone would ever desire to raise kids in an apartment. It’s just a cultural thing that has worked its way into how things are planned and designed.\n\n6) The transit system is ok by North American standards but awful by international standards. There are only two real subway lines, one stub line, one line that is permanently out of service after a derailment, and another line that was supposed to open a couple years ago but still has no date for opening. The subways go out of service frequently, sometimes for the dumbest reasons, and then it is a zoo of shuttle buses. The streetcars are nice but so slow. The buses are fine if you find yourself dreaming about riding a daily herky jerky rolling tin of sardines. They are building a lot of transit but it will take decades to get done.\n\n7) There is still a lot of cool multiculturalism and opportunities to experience different foods and cultures - one of the best things about Toronto. Increasingly though it seems to be losing the fun vibe of the 90s, when everyone celebrated each other’s backgrounds and was chill. It seems the immigration is not as broad based anymore and also people are importing a lot of their “old country” grievances here. The immigration system also kind of preys on people abroad by selling them a false fairy tale, so they end up dejected when they arrive and see how things really are.\n\n8) This one might be controversial but it’s kind of an ugly city. There’s nothing particularly of historical meaning or value. Some of the older neighbourhoods are kind of nice, but the last 25 years they have only built giant glass skyboxes, one after another. There aren’t the cool “missing middle” walkups like in NY, Chicago or Montreal (or even LA). There are very few buildings with much architectural character. Some of the buildings they deem “heritage” here are an embarrassment.\n\n9) For safety, honestly on this score I think Toronto is not bad. There are not too many real “ghettos” and it’s night and day compared to much of the US. With that said, there is more vagrancy and social issues these days, with tents and such. It’s very sad but the shelters are full, lots of homeless go into the libraries, parks and transit system. It does make it harder to enjoy these public amenities safely. It is nowhere close to Europe where you might let your kids run free around town. Canadian parents still helicopter their kids and the place again is not designed to really be safe for kids, in the same way as Europe.\n\n10) Finally, a bit of a double edged sword. Toronto had a lot of youthful energy - people coming here from all over. It is definitely not as sleepy as many parts of the world. With that said, it is becoming a bit of a transient place (minus the world class experiences like London or NY). If you are from elsewhere you might find it hard making and keeping friends. I’ve seen lots of people struggle because it’s is hard to build a strong social network. We have a very “shallow” culture here - people are extremely polite but not overly warm and hospitable. We treat one another kind of like neighbours - meaning we’d like to have a cordial, drama-free coexistence and otherwise kind of stick to ourselves.

It’s been 5 years for me here and I honestly can say I have achieved nothing in my life yet. It scares me when I think I can’t return whatever my parents had invested in me. The fact is you’ll never have a good paying job in Canada being an immigrant. When I say this trust me I mean it. Most you’ll get is a minimum wage job which can make you survive the life here. Taxes are high definitely and what I feel is you’re working to make someone else’s life easier. \n(P.S: people who’ve stayed in Canada will understand who I’m implying to)\nNo one wants to be your freind, scope of socializing is zero coz mostly it’s cold round the year so everyone hardly come out, especially in Northern provinces like Yukon, Saskatchewan, Manitoba.\nHealthcare is a joke. If you feel sick and not well and you wanna see a doctor be prepared to wait for hours and hours. I once had stomach infection and I had to wait 5 hours till someone could see me. I asked for painkiller at-least so I could bear the pain but they refused that as well. You might well see someone you love dearly and with whole heart die in-front of you and you could do nothing. (I’ve experienced it myself hence saying)\nYou’re a lone survivor who’ll always keep fighting. \nThe only person who can make money here is businesses and high paid jobs which are reserved to Canadians. That’s how Canada’s job market is. Canadians’ first and if there’s something left they’ll look at you. By the amount of money people invest here they can establish a nice business back in their country itself and earn accordingly on own terms. \nMost importantly you’ll cut yourself from all emotional supports like family, freinds etc.\nI was social person back in India who liked making new freinds and memories but it’s nothing like that here. \nAnd it’s the same life, no different.\nYou wake up, dress, eat, go to work, come back, eat, sleep. No different.\nNo fun and nothing. You actually don’t live in present, you live in an expectation of a better tommorow.\nYou’ll always have a smile when you greet someone but I guarantee you no one’s gonna check on you to if you don’t start a conversation even with a simple “Hi”. Mostly Canadians are nice but again some will systematically judge you and say nothing but you’ll see in their actions, the way they’ll talk in a twisted way etc.\nYes I’m not saying that Canada’s bad or it’s no good but trust me it will take forever to build a life here especially with the number of people moving here from round the world. \nIf you’re well off financially from back home Canada’s a paradise for you. Indeed it’s a beautiful country with lots of beauty and lots to explore but remember everything comes with a cost here. Everything comes with a cost. People need to stop believing in this fake illusion and come only if they got a purpose here. The only reason why they’ll let you in the country is for money and once you’re in you’ll have to keep spending, doesn’t matter if you’re broke or whatever you have to.\nOnce I earn I’ll happily give up my PR status and go back to India as i very well know what the situation is how it’s gonna be in future.\nSo just one piece of advise to every middle class person like me, guys please invest and spend your money wisely coz we know how hard it is to earn and it’s high time Canadians start appreciating what immigrants like us do for them by burning ourselves day and night and start realizing that their past generation once came from some other part of the world as well and settled here. Being white doesn’t make you a nice Canadian, you’re actions defines you more than your words. \n90% of this country is built by immigrants and that’s how it’s gonna develop in future, so if they keep treating us the same way good luck to them ?.\nAlso a plus note to anyone thinking that Asians are stealing your jobs, go get outside and have the balls to face them and take it away from them. Staying home and ranting and abusing us that we’re taking your opportunities and blah blah isn’t gonna work. We are so successful round the world because we are hardworking, honest and respectful to everyone. Even if we’re earning minimum and barely surviving here we always make sure we’re not burden on the government or anyone else and won’t keep crying.\n\nA big shoutout to all you guys who came here in the hope of a better future but are still struggling.\nKeep hustling and you’ll reach there, if not step down and go back and start your life again on your home soil. There’s no shame in experimenting continuously rather than sitting ideally and crying about future. \n\nAll the very best my people and lots of love to you ❣️

To survive in Canada, you need to be good at English only and have some bluffing skills rather than technical skills. Ya, English skill is 99.999% of sucess factor, nothing else, believe me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Isn’t this a paradise for people from India or Europe who are good at English? Even students of Univ. do not know how to solve the math problem of differentiation or integral....\nI don't know if people has good idea of philosophy of life, culture, or history. It's a country where people don't think about anything other than how to eat hamburgers and how to play games. Well it’s something good that you have shared , yes you can’t have the privilege of keeping a maid / can’t have the cake and eat it too , India has its own pros and cons and so dose Canada . I have lived and worked in UK never had any issues , as had to come back home due to family reasons but it all depends on an individual plus if you are ready to accept challenges even I am planning to migrate to canada in my early 30s with a kid let’s c how it goes , but I have kept my window to return back in case if I didn’t like it . Luck plays a part plus what you imagine is what you create … simple

So I came back to Shanghai from Toronto, here in any city you can go out at one in the morning, and even the streets of many cities in the early hours of the morning are full of snacks and people sitting on the streets drinking beer and eating together, I was just discussing the convenience and safety of life, and I know there are some people who have never been here who try to dismiss my life with information on the news?

1) Dont go abroad with the mindset that you are going to live the same life you live here. You cant. \n\n2) dont expect it to be a plug and play experience like moving from indian city to another. You cant pack your life in 8 suitcases and go to a place which has many different requirements in terms of neccesities of life and system of living eg weather, clothes having car, different way of shopping, eating,doing household chores, accessing systems like health care, school etc. \n\n3) dont go thinking that all the things you need there are available to you or even that you will know/recognise what you need to settle down there. \n\n4) unless you are super rich dont think you can afford to \nHave all the necessary things to live the average life there. You wont. It takes 2-6 years to aquire all that. \n\n5) Don't go with the attitude of keeping parallel life back in India to run back to. Then you will never settle down to do what you need to do there. \n6) Also in most cases no matter your age you will be like a young graduate on their first job away from fathers home and all the struggles they have you too will have almost similar struggles. \n7) give it alleast 2 years whole heartedly ( not keeping one foot in India) then only then you will know whether you really like it or not.

Toronto is a beautiful city but if you don't make a lot of money you can either live in studio apartments and hardly buy food to eat or end up homeless. Toronto is much more expensive than most american cities, it might be as expensive as New York City or a bit more. Canada is a truly gorgeous country but it is too expensive. The US is getting so expensive even in Texas,you feel like moving to another country too,in my case my country Panama. Makes you think when will the inflation stop and be controlled in Canada and in the US. We don't want all poor and middle class people to have no money and be left with nothing and end up homeless. Right now it is not a good idea to move to the U.S. or to Canada, just to visit for some months but living in those countries is crippling people's lives.?

My humble request to all those Indians who are unhappy in Canada, may please leave Canada immediately and return back to India. The fact is this that when you are kicked and rejected in India then you think of shifting to another country. Canada is one of the best country in the world for those who are not scared of working hard. One who works hard progresses fast. This respected lady is used to servants and domestic helps, that one cannot get here. I am here for just 7 years and I am a senior citizen but me & my wife got very good jobs and enjoying life. No one asks about your religion, what you eat what you drink. So all those who like lazy life please stay back in India. Yes if you want to get a good job you have to upgrade your education. Girls alone are safe even at 2am in buses.

He doesn't regret to eat, to use the Canadian system. \nHe thinks that's a fun thing. Do the same things he used to do when he was in Nigeria. You migrate to a country therefore you have to go by their rules, by their laws. They won't change the way of their life for you. They won't change their laws for you. Big mouth. As an older person who migrated decades ago after protesting in my old country, I encourage young people below 45 to FIGHT for your countries. Fight bad goverments. 7 billion people on the planet cannot move to the few western countries that seem to work and appear attractive on the surface, it’s not possible. The taxpayers in those countries are feeling it. Look at the folks sleeping on the floor in NY! A pharmacist has to fill anything between 200 to 350 prescriptions, give a certain number of immunizations and see a certain No of patients per day. There is no time for niceties! A corporate professional May work remotely but has to deliver on so many projects he is up till 10pm and only gets up to eat. We have beautiful homes, drive nice cars etc but MUST work like the clock in an assembly line fashion! Most of us pay so much of our income as taxes we end up with less than 70% as paychecks! It's simple logic, if you doing well in your country, there isn't any need permanently relocating abroad, i am doing better here in Nigeria, though the inflation is choking but I could still pull forward day by day and my environment is one that keeps my sanity intact. Even when I am broke or sales are stagnant I could fall back on other things, even when there is no money to eat i can eat from my landladys house or travel back home, the community enables you to prosper and the empathy of people, how we care for ourselves is really soothing.

Is Toronto the only city in Canada. Toronto is full beyond capacity. I have been waiting for a call for RGI for more than 13 years and never recieved even one call for a place. So many people are coming to Toronto fleeing whatever they are fleeing, getting housing, and help while i and my children continue to pay for it and live like we are in a third world country because we have to decide if we pay the rent or eat healthy. Dollarama is my frigging grocery store, all the while my taxes pay for people who never payed taxes here. Our country is so ridiculously broken.

I am autistic, and the fact that autistic peoples are treated as inferiors in the US and not well help, oh hell NO. Even if in Canada this is not perfect, at least I was able to be respected by the most of them and not treated as a joke. Even if people don't realise I am autistic most of the times, my youngers years will be even more a nightmare that it was here. And, knowing that my family were broke already here, and I had an operation for my esophagus, wasn't able to eat anything solid, I will probably be dead today only because of that. One of things that I learnt 33 years ago when I moved to USA was not to convert the money because you won’t be able to eat. I sponsored my mother almost 20 years ago and she didn’t enjoy living here because of her life and friends back home. It was very difficult to move here especially when you are in your fifties and especially if you aren’t working. One of the things that aunties are exaggerating is about the cost of the restaurant, I have never eaten in a restaurant that cost $400 for 4 people, even some of the best steak restaurants don’t cost that much. Final thing when they compare the Malls of Canada with India with limited supplies actually the malls here carry sizes that are not even available anywhere in the World. I do respect their views.

There is more opportunities, because more companies choose the USA. We have a higher population so even thought there is more job opportunities in the USA, it is also very competitive. Your video gave a point to Canada for vacation and maternity leave rather than innovation and job opportunities. A lawyer in the USA has a better chance of practicing law than a Canadian lawyer. I just wanna say a big thank you to Uncle Joe Burden. Since I office my 400 cousins have managed to get into the USA and have all got a nice blue T shirt, a cell phone and some 100 dollar bills. As a Venezuelan who migrated and still travels in the proper ways I can surely say many there want true help. Venezuela is insane compared to what you people even live whit, best work you can get there will make you up to 90-120 bucks a month, no food in supermarkets, some insanely expensive which will make you choose between buy bread or tuna and rice for a whole month ( imagine not being able to eat your favorite meats or prefered food FOR MONTHS, EVEN SOME YEARS) , if you are a professional or educated of course the opportunity grows up but not in a socialist country. as we know you can be a socialist in a capitalist system but not the opposite and this is a fact. I had to spend 3 days sleeping on a huge queue with many other people also sleeping in the streets to get our passport(that's was the easy part, 4 years to get the date to finally get that fucker passport.), something so simply done in other countries which such ease, not to mention the whole cost for a passport (I knew people who paid aroundn 700usd to get it asap). \n\nPlease don't pitty these people nor hate on any inmigrants, some families there really wish for a future, and again as someone who had the opportunity to do my papers. my number 1 issue when i went on vacation was the food, like my gosh, I couldn't even drink the milk of how much fat it had, like, it was crazy! beagles were very sweet (which I actually liked BUT I cannot eat that everyday), it's just too much unbalance, and I was like 16... I wasn't a picky eater, so for me it was a big shock, I didn't have a healthy meal once that whole month I was there, and I was staying at my mom's friend with my mom, so it's not like I was at a hotel or something, they didn't sit down to have a family meal or cook home meal stuff for the kids even, it was just a big culture shock overall, and I personally did not rly enjoy it. When I went to visit my family in New Bedford, was pretty much the same thing, the food tasted super different, simple lettuce just didnt taste good, I mean this is my experience ofc, but the struggle with food taste was real xD

They should rush they're own government like this and make the change they are seeking when they come here !! Tonight I watched a man digging through trash looking for food while I was getting gas. He couldn’t speak a word of English. I asked him if he was looking for food and he was embarrassed and said I was just looking for something. I gave him $5 and said get some food and he gave me a fist bump and smiled. After going to back to my car I told my daughter to wait and went into the convenience store after him and told him to get whatever he wanted to eat and I’d pay. I had to keep asking him to take more he refused most of what I offered. \nI paid for the food and told him God loves you and may He keep you safe and fed. He said thank you in English and I walked out to my car and cried the whole ride home while my daughter was silent bc she knew why I was crying. I could tell he was ashamed and it broke my heart even more.
